Paige and the Reluctant Artist is a sweet romance. You can tell Darci is passionate about writing through her narrative. The story easy to read and is set with vividly painted words which delight the senses and inspire the imagination for its setting. I would have liked to see the story is told in dual POV which would give the reader that better insight in to all characters. However, that is just my personal preference.

The characters are likable and you can feel their emotional connection. Whilst I enjoyed the story, I was hoping for a little something more to give it a greater impact. Darci does inflect humour and animals into her story giving another dimension.

If sweet romance is your thing, then you will like this story so grab a copy today.

When I saw Courtney’s name on the book, I just had to get it and I was not let down in any way. Courtney has done it again and given us the readers a story that is easy to get lost in and invested in the outcome. I enjoy the worlds she creates and her cleverly woven tales.

Princess of Prias is a space fantasy tale with a little romance and humour thrown in the mix. I said it before and I will say it again it is refreshing to see authors come up with new things and Courtney does just that. I enjoyed getting an in depth look at these compelling characters. This book kept me intrigued right through until the end. It is a fun story that I was completely engrossed in. It is full of action and tension, mysteries and lies, aliens, evil uncles, pushy goddesses, a utopian society and so much more.

The true adventure begins when Elle finds she is more than she ever thought. When a warrior shows up, she soon becomes ensnared into a web of politics, deceit and evil as they face danger in a battle for survival of worlds and races.

I will be keeping an eye out for more.

Twilight Realm has easily become one of my top three fantasy universes. This is my 2nd book by the this author and in the series and I was not disappointed. The writing in this book is so descriptive I can seriously see the scenes playing out as I read. I love that there isn’t any difficult language to understand even though this is fantasy. I like how easy to read, get entertaining this book was!

This book was a quick read for me. I read it in 3 hours lol. Third person books typically aren’t my favorite but this kept my attention. I love the story line. About a famous girl named Kiki who just wants to be able to be in love behind closed doors. Being in the public eye leaves little to no privacy and this book portrays how that all must be like. Eric is super sweet and super understanding! He’s a mayor of a small town and is in love with a pop star! He’s not one for the cameras and the attention but he will move mountains for JUST KIKI! All around a cute book.

This second book of this series was fantastic and I highly recommend to read this series in order. If you are a lover of YA Fantasy like I am definitely take a leap and dive in to this story of magic, elves and adventure!

Yarissa wants to a be a warrior and finished up her training and wants to become one of the Elites, but ends up being a spy and on a mission to find a missing princess. Her journey, though not easy, but finds herself trapped in the Night Realm. Yarissa is a fighter, has to use her magic in ways and I loved that about her character… strong and a survivor. Will Yarissa survive the Night Realm while trying to find a missing princess?

I cannot wait to see how this series continues!! Totally Enjoyable!

I can tell you that I was caught off guard by Paige and Mark’s story more than once. Their love story is certainly one that is a slow burn, you know what’s coming, or at the very least, you hope that the end brings all the happiness to them both. I love how this author built up both characters so that the reader is able to connect with them, and understand the choices they make, at least, most of them, and is able to root for them regardless of the hurdles they may encounter.

I hope that this author continues to weave these tales, as I found it very easy to read, and even more difficult to put down. In fact, I devoured this novel in one day! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a sweet, country living type of read. Well done!

The vilification of aqua marine caught my eye by the author, and the cover art! I honestly thought this book just by looking at it would be for a young adult audience, but I enjoyed the story right from the start…and I’m from the higher end of Generation Y! I love to stuff right into a book. If course I do a little reading of the intro to spark my interest, but many times it takes a little while before I can start to read it and by then it’s all brand new. I was literally in awe at super hero/villain style of the characters. The author starts you off with instant shock in the initial chapters, and just when you think that was enough, you start to meet family members, villians, attend events, etc. This makes for great character development! I loved seeing how aqua marine decides her fate with every turn off the story. This story is very enjoyable and a nice lighter read for me! I’m looking forward to more books in the working masks series!

This book is in a series, kind of a bridge between books one and two. While it works as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading the first book as it answers some questions and is in the same realm. I loved reading about Yarissa almost as much as I loved being back in this series. She is strong, playful, and sassy which made her very appealing. She is relatable that she thinks she has her life planned out and then discovers life doesn’t always work the way we plan. This was another great book, and I really enjoyed it!

I was definitely drawn to this book since it takes place in Helena Montana and I was born and raised just an hour away. It was fun to see the writer’s depiction of Montana and the beauty of the state! We meet Paige a New Yorker who has worked hard to become a respected art curator for a top gallery. She is sent to Montana to meet Mark, a reluctant painter, who she wants to represent. From the moment they meet, the chemistry is electric between them. Mark finally agrees to do the paintings and Paige plans to stay in Montana with him on his horse rescue ranch until they are complete. Unfortunately, Paige has been burned romantically and so has Mark. They have to figure out if they can overcome their pasts to make their future together. I couldn’t put the book down and devoured it in one sitting. The characters are well written and multidimensional. The descriptive language really brings to life the beauty of Montana, the paintings, and the horses. My heart broke when we learned more about their pasts and their separate traumas. The author did an amazing job of pacing in the book and drew you into the story. Overall a very sweet and steamy romance story with some interesting twists. I haven’t read other stories by the author previously, but I will definitely be checking out her other works.

Wickstrom did an amazing job of explaining the science behind water magnifying glasses and told the story in a way that would captivate the attention of young readers. The story follows the friend duno of Fig and Maria. The friends are playing near a lake when Trezzie, a mermaid that only Fig can see, helps them build a magnifying glass to examine a fossil. The back of the book includes instructions that could be used to make one of our own. Teachers could use “Mermaid and the Water Magnifying Glass” to help illustrate ways that their students can investigate the world around them without the use of expensive equipment.

Cora is on an adventure assisting Tesla. What an intriguing mystery. There is plenty of mystery, adventure and knowledge in this book. It was a fun read. It’s also fairly quick to finish. The plot runs very smooth. It’s well-thought out and you’ll fall in love with the characters. Cora is my favorite. I hope there will be more adventures with Cora.

If you have read the previous books in this series you will be happy to know we find out more about the amazing Yiayia and if you haven’t read the other books well, what are you waiting for? Get reading now!! Krystina and Loukas go through a lot especially for such young people but they show us all what we are truly capable of when we are tested and love bonds us.

As this series continues I am yet again captivated by the relationships of both friends and family detailed and developing throughout the storyline. You could if you wish read this fun and heartfelt book on its own but I do highly recommend reading this series from the start as there is a storyline threaded through this book that started in the first and I believe will further develop in the 3rd. You won’t want to miss any details.
This book brings us the story of Mia and Nicholas and adds more to the story of the wonderful Yiayia and her life. Wow she is one sassy woman that I’d love to have in my life. Nicholas falls for Mia straight away but boy oh boy does he hate that idea and acts out accordingly. In fact his hostility around her is so strong she is absolutely convinced he hates her. Again there are lots of twists and turns in their story to keep you captivated and wanting more! Bring on book 3 I say!

Paige and the Reluctant Artist is a delightful story of a successful gallery curator and Mark, a reluctant artist. I enjoyed the New York art gallery aspect as well as the Montana ranch setting. Paige and Mark are an exciting match that, at times, mirrors the different locations of the story. I like the tension between the characters and how the story develops. This book was my first read by this author, and I really enjoyed the story. I like that the story read quickly but did not feel lacking in any aspect. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

This book brought me back to a time where books with all the magic, mystery, action and intrigue drew me into another world. I really enjoyed the authors style and fell head over heels for the characters. The story was well structured and flowed nicely, where no lulls put you to sleep! It was exciting and entertaining and seriously took you to another place and another time. I could not put this book down! The author did a fantastic job of creating her own world. The elves rule five realms, this one takes place in the Twilight Realm. It is a fantasy adventure filled with magic, dragons and fantastical creatures. Phoenix is only thirteen when his parents, the king and queen are murdered. He goes into hiding for his own safety. When the time is right, he will step up and become the king that he was meant to be. Zoe has no love loss for her parents who experimented on her as if she was a lab rat. She manages to escape and stays hidden for many years. Fate brings these two together and with the help of some friends, they attempt to rid the realm of the evil that has spread. I think this is a great start to this series. A very entertaining story.

This book was an interesting read for me, filled with great word building, fantastic characters, and interesting plot and more I just simply couldn’t put this one down and was halfway through it before I realized it. Our main lead has no idea who or what she is until she becomes an adult, enter a tall handsome male lead to save her from unknown forces and you had me hook, line, and sinker. While I was glad to see us start out on earth I did find it fascinating to look into other worlds from these characters eyes. So of your looking for a great new read make sure you pick this one up today.

This was an interesting listen as Titania battles to determine who she can trust while also containing locusts that threaten her kingdom. I have read/listened to the first book but I found that not to be an issue. The author did a good job of referencing the first book and giving a quick background. I did find that the book jumped around and glossed over details or focused on details that were not as important but overall I enjoyed the book. I find myself rooting for strong female characters, especially when their differences are highlighted and focused on trying to make them appear as bad. Titania is a strong character who proves her worth through her actions.

This was a great read that was centered around college friendships. I enjoyed that friendship was the main theme and thought it was a good choice to place the romantic relationships in the background. Melody, Imani, and Lance have found such a great balance of school and friendship, always supporting each other through everything! There is a switch in point of views with each chapter which can feel a little quick but is refreshing as you don’t get fatigued by too many details. Throughout the story I feel one of the main characters, Melody, seemed to lack a little depth so she didn’t feel quite as real as the others. I finished it in one day as I couldn’t wait to find out what happened. I can’t wait to pickup the second book!

As far as romance books go this one really knocks it out of the park. While I usually prefer a duel pov this author did a tremendous job keeping my interest with their third person writing style. The cover of the book and synopsis drew me to this wonderful romance right away, and once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. The character development was perfect, the plot was interesting and sweet, and the overall story was simply perfection. So if your looking for a sweet romance for your next read then pick this one up today.

Paige and the Reluctant Artist by Darci Garcia. This was such a good read. Its the story of Paige Lisgon a Art Curator at a fancy Manhattan art gallery. She seems to be on her way to being an up and coming painter. One thing standing in her way is a rancher in Montana who she needs to create some pieces for her gallery. Mark Richards is very happy running his horse ranch, Caramel Ranch in Montana. He sure doesn’t need some city slicker (even if she is beautiful) telling him what he needs to do. When Paige offers him something he can’t refuse she packs up and moves to Montana. Will they be able to work together and both get what they want. Will they end up being able to make a relationship between two total opposites work. Read this fun city girl and country guy romance to find out!

This is a wonderful young adult adventure filled with elves, dragons and magic. Yarissa is a spy that’s sent to the Night Realm to get word to the king. This realm has its own dangers and doesn’t take kindly to outsiders. After tragedy hits, she is left on her own to finish the assignment. Yarissa discovers many things about herself and her growth is amazing. She is strong and determined which is great qualities in a female lead character. Although the story is short and ends on a cliffhanger, it fits perfectly between book one and two of the series. It’s a captivating and interesting story.
