This was such a great book! I really couldn’t put it down! Roxanne just experienced a life altering event and to move on, she got a job as a in home caregiver. The person she is taking care of is a renowned writer who is getting close to her end of life. Claudette has asked her to help finish her story she’s been working on. Once she starts, she starts seeing things and someone. It gets better from there! Give it a read!

Evaline is an amazing character inspired to be like Sherlock Holmes one day. She ends up with an opportunity that was supposed to be taken care of by her Dad, but he refused. Evaline tool it into her own hands along with her Beau. They ended up in a mirror world of London. From there, the mystery begins! Such a good read!

This book was truly as fabulous as the first two books in the series! I’m still utterly fascinated by the world and wish I could walk through all the places that are wonderfully illustrated by the author. The historical aspect keeps me completely enthralled and I just wish I could meet all the characters. This author weaves a brilliant story and builds a fabulous world. If you enjoy historical fiction with an emphasis on lore and beautifully written familial relationships, I would absolutely recommend this story!

This was a good read! Was romantic, but because it was clean there wasn’t any steamy or explicit scenes. It was thrilling and interesting. I really liked the characters and liked seeing their dynamic. It was enthralling and kept me interested. I’m intrigued to see where the series goes and I can’t wait to read the next installment!

I can not wait for the next book to hit us! The characters are wonderful and readers are hooked from the very beginning! Its been a long time since I easily got lost in a book and before I knew it this one was over!

I really enjoyed this wholesome mystery. Levi, a tough former Navy SEAL, has agreed to help protect and hide Bella who is needed to testify against her ex-boyfriend. Little do each other know, they are exactly what each of them needed. There really wasn’t a dull moment in the book but the beginning had a slower start but boy was it hard to put down. The character development between the key characters was great and I found I was falling in love with the family. At times, I was holding my breath with anticipation at what was to come next. I can’t wait for the next installment.

This story had me on the edge of my feet the entire time. So many twists and turns. I wish the story was a bit longer but I feel satisfied wish the ending. This story moves fast. There were so many red flags with Donald. From the first letter he sent her. I kept finding myself screaming at Isabella to not do certain things nor go with certain people. Tom is amazing. So glad he was around when she needed someone the most . I’m also happy that Isabella was able to move from the traumatic events and have exactly what she’s always dreamed of. I highly recommend giving this a try.

This was a good 5 star read. I was pulled right into the story. Tia meets Bridger while she is with her boss doing a photo shoot of a hockey team. She has sworn off playboys but there is something about Bridger that throws her off. Bridger is trying to change his reputation, will Tia be the one that can help him do that? Can he break down her walls?
Overall this was a good read. These two had their moments of not getting along but eventually they gave in to their chemistry. These two were perfect for each other. This can be read as a stand alone. The author did a great job with her writing and I can’t wait to read more from her. 1-click and get started today.

The second book in the Astoria Bay Thunder series is almost better than the first. I loved reading Power Play (the first book) and I was so excited to read Body Checked. A story about a hockey team, learning about the players, witnessing the family they make as a team and how they have each other’s back. It’s great to see the camaraderie and overall team spirit. Bridger McKelty is known as a play boy of sorts, out with a different girl every night, the party animal of the team. He’s gotten into some trouble and if he doesn’t shape up, he may get traded or may not play hockey ever again! Tia just lost her job but her best friend Brynn needs help for a photo shoot over the weekend, photographing the whole Astoria Bay Thunder hockey team. Will Tia’s past brush with a playboy remind her to stay away from the very sexy Bridger?

This series is one of my recent favorites! I read the last 3 books in the series first and told myself I need to read the first 3 books so I can learn more about the other brothers. I was very excited to find out the 6 books came in a box set! The stories are easy to read, as you read them you’ll connect with the characters, danger and intriguing moments keep you interested, and along the way love blossoms for each of the very sexy sons.
Each book is about one of the many bastard sons of Jamieson Finch, a ruthless evil father, who left his sons and their mothers to fend for themselves. Along the way, each son finds their true love and the couples become a close knit family as the brothers work together to bring their father down and prove how a family can work together for the greater good.
Book 1: Lost Bastard is about Aleksei and Deva Book 2: Cold Bastard is about Archer and Zoe Book 3: Wild Bastard is about Kai and Isabel Book 4: True Bastard is about Liam and Catriona Book 5: Dark Bastard is about Sam and Ellie Book 6: King Bastard is about Lazareth and Sasha

The author of this book captivates the reader instantly with the love of Kingsley, their pet dog. She’s in complete shock that the dog she rescued is found to be suffering from a rare form of cancer. In this story the author walks the reader down a path of grief that is unimaginable, sharing the intense pain she felt having to see Kingsley through the stages of cancer. It hurt me as well knowing how much she wanted to love Kingsley and live with him through the birth and growth of her future children, yet this was taken away long before pregnancy. The pictures throughout the book are so important to the story and I felt like this puppy was my own. This very candid account of a life taken too soon is so perfectly written and leaves the reader with the knowledge of how to survive such a tragedy.

I love the sweetness in this book and the characters hearts. I would have to say Leona is my favorite character in the story. Her sweet nature to want to give everyone a happy ever after even though she doesn’t have her own makes you love her even more. All the love stories will keep you wanting more! Third installment of the Forerunner saga, and I really feel like the Author has truly found their voice. This book is Perfection. If George R.R. Martin were to write Viking based novels, these would be it. Not to say that Batista doesn’t have their own flavor, but I’m very reminded of Martin’s style at times. The Agneson clan has grown up and into their lots in life quite a bit more in this one. Thorfinn has grown into his “gifts” quite well and is surrounded by a crew, including his uncle Karl, that embraces him. Gurid, Kara and Hildie become reunited with old Yeru and the youngest Neeta at Gurid’s brother Cerdic’s home. Cub/Agne has survived and is a slave in the tin mines. Lastly Sorven has traveled with Willa and her husband to get Tormod ransomed back, while Willa is pregnant with her first. We see Much more of Kara in this book and see a great deal of growth in all the Agneson children’s characters. This series and cast along with the writing style have really got me hooked now. I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Theresa Sederholt is back with another book for A Fitz Series. This is the fourth book in the series, but i do highly recommend you read the first 3 books before you read this one. You may or may not get a little confused with everything. This author has an amazing way of writing that has you hanging by a thread sitting on the edge of your seat. This is the second book in the Nurse Morgan series by Kate Macinnis. This book is a spooky romance. It has all the makings of a great book. It has ghosts, drama, mystery, and lots of laughs. The characters are fully developed and complex to the core. There were moments of emotions that went on a roller coaster ride. There were high moments as well as low moments. The story moves quickly. It does not stand still for one moment. Morgan is an RN who works in the Emergency Department. She can see ghosts who get her in trouble a wee bit. She is dating a handsome MD and that is about to get spicy, She is off on another mystery. I highly recommend this book. Nurse Morgan is an amazing character and I cannot wait to see what is going to happen next.

OMG! This author has done it again! I am loving this series! This one had me laugh, love and cry throughout the telling. The characters filled me with shocking and roll on the floor laughing moments. I really could not get enough of them! Normally I enjoy the well written male but Seth got overshadowed by Victoria! She impressed me with her tenacity, strength and wit over and Over again. Both of these characters do have charm and were just as smart as they adorable! I really enjoyed them both.
Secondary characters are wonderfully built and add some levity to the story. I enjoyed meeting them all and was always wondering about that Pip.
Overall its a great addition to the series. There is one brother left and I am looking forward to his story.

This story really hit home. My pets are my family. I love them like children, and the author does an incredible job of bringing that love to life. A cancer diagnosis would be heart breaking for anyone to go through with anyone they care about. Reading Kingsley’s journey showed me how different the last years could have been had I known that cancer was taking my pet before it was too late. I loved the funny stories of Kingsley in his youth, and then the heartbreak a family goes through trying to make the best decision for your pet. Wonderfully written, and almost painful to read, definitely pick this up if you are looking for a true story to tug your heartstrings.

I loved this book! Romance, action, and some hot scenes. Ember is new to the firehouse, but has always had a crush on Sol, her mentor. Sol is known as a hero, but to his dismay, becoming a hero meant harming himself in a fire. He can no longer be a firefighter and he’s completely lost his sense of self. Read this book if you like a come back story, happily ever after, and really cool firefighting scenes!

This book is set in 1890. It begins in Lawrence, Massachusetts with Isabella Britta Stolt. Her parents died while they were all immigrating to the United States. Isabella took a job at a factory to support herself. In a time where young women did not live alone, she was left bereft when the factory burned down. She felt she had no choice but to become a mail order bride. She felt like she had a connection with Donald Jenks, and he came across in his letters as a sweet, loving man. Once she moved to Ohio to be with him, she discovered he was quite the opposite. He was cruel to her and had begun to get physical. She met Tom Allenby on her train ride to Ohio when he saved her from being abducted. Could Tom become her saving grace once again? I enjoyed this sweet story. It was short, easy to read, and quite enjoyable!

Ugh, this book was sooooo good. I did not expect this to be as good as it was. This was nicely executed with the edgy sassy girl and the hunky player-athlete guy. In theory, the two shouldn’t work out but they do and it was beautiful. Bridger was undeniably hot and I was obsessed with Tia and her sassy little attitude. I loved how she stood her ground and made the rules and not him yet he did such a good job continuing to respect her rules even when he disagreed with them and wanted to break them. AND don’t get me started on the way he protected her from her ex cause, boyyyy am I a sucker for protective powerful men. This was a fun, slightly steamy fast-paced book in my opinion and I loved all of it.

The love story developed here is endearing, and the witty banter adds to the appeal. There are many concepts at which the story hits on, “I can fix him”, strong female heroine, and “tough guy with lots of layers” pretty much sums it up. It’s a good drive for the book and overall plot, but instances of the heroine rushing in to save the day and being amazing adds a stretch that seems both unrealistic in terms of the characters backstory but as an overall unrealistic feel.
Overall a good, quick read that tugs in the heart strings and leads the reader feeling satisfied with the happy ending.
