THE ARRANGEMENT contains two stories which make up a complete duet.
Told in his and her POVs, this is an extremely detailed story that has a bit of suspense, a lot of healing, romance and twists and turns along the way.
The time span of the book is not incredibly long, especially for everything that happens. It has a good cadence yet I did find myself skimming quite a bit to move the story along quicker for me.
All in all I did find this to be an enjoyable read.

An Unexpected Sequel Paranormal Talent Agency Book 4 By Heather Silvio ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ This story continues with a little romance, comedy and murder. I can’t believe this suspenseful story made me LOL. So not what I expected, but happy nonetheless.
Years earlier Robin made a deal with the devil. A vengeful devil of a woman. Robin has turned her down, when asked to commit murder. She just can’t and won’t, as it is not for her. When she refuses to kill Jackson, the devil hires someone else. Now she is also being hunted. What will she do? Can Robin and Jackson survive being hunted and murdered? Or will they fight back? Only reading this story will answer the questions.
Heather Silvio has done it again. She made me laugh, cry, and kept me up all night. This story is short but mighty. Her characters are funny and entertaining. Book 4 has caught me by surprise. I loved this story and can’t wait to read more in this series. I’m looking forward to book 5. Well done Heather Silvio well done!!!
This is one of those books that I typically like. Sports romance with a bit of angst.
The good – It evoked emotion More than once I wanted to shake each protagonist and tell them to smarten up. There are so many circumstances that they shouldn’t have even been in and yet they were.
It was well plotted: The people they surround themselves with don’t have their best interest at heart. We, the reader could see it, why couldn’t they?
Sexy sportsmen: Cricket… I googled it to get a better understanding of it and still I am clueless hahaha
There are no plot holes, the story is well edited and it was an easy story to read. I have read this author previously and will continue to do so.

This book hooked me from the beginning. The author did an exceptional job detailing Madeline’s feelings throughout the story. There were so many moments that had me on the edge of my seat and there were other times I wanted to hit something because I was so angry at everything that kept coming at her, it seemed never ending. I couldn’t put this book down until I found out what happened, because I became so invested. I came to really like some of the other characters and some of them I wanted to throat punch. This was a wonderful read that was full of action and suspense from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book.

Jake the Growling Dog by Samantha Shannon is the first book of this series. This was a cute book to read to my sons at bed time. It has a theme of kindness and being accepting of others who are different. The illustrations are beautiful and very colorful. I will definitely be looking into other books in the series.

Madeline is magnificent in this story and is a remarkable character with the chain of events that proceed to occur throughout. The mystery elements were expertly done creating a must read story/series!

Spouse Trap is the opening act of Cynthia Hamilton’s Madeline Dawkins series and it is an act to be remembered! It is the first I have read by this writer and it will be not the last (I already have the next book in the series downloaded)! We have highflying power couple that is THE couple to take after – Madeline Ridley and her husband Steven. Madeline is organizing a charity ball that goes off smashingly until … her husband starts an argument with her and she ends up waking up alone in a strange room the next day remembering nothing … I am sure you can guess what comes next and yes, it might be a bit predictable but the way how Madeline reacts and deals with the situation, that is what you can take away from the story. When it comes down to it, she proves what she is truly made of and whatever gets thrown her way, she will survive it! I am excited that this was just the first book and there are many more adventures to look forward to!

Shattered (The Torzial Affair Book 1) by Via Mari is a contemporary romance. Via Mari is a talented author in the story lines that she creates, along with the characters and their portrayals. In Shattered, we dive into Jenny and Brian’s stories which are captivating and riveting to many degrees. Each of them is handling their lives as they feel they should, but something is broken within those dynamics even if they don’t come out and act that way. As their stories unfold we are given into an incredible chemistry that shatters barriers between these two, however, at the same time, is it enough to overcome hurdles in their lives. Remarkably written, magnetic emotional connections and more!!

Salty Sebastian by Jen Luerssen is Book 3 In the Smirk Series and was a great second chance romance read for me. I absolutely loved Frank’s book and the whole gang was back again in this happy, sweet, funny read. Kit and Sebastian have an amazing one night stand in Vegas whole they are both away attending a convention. It was the best night and morning of both of their lives. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas right? WRONG!!! Kit and Sebastian parted ways and never exchanged names, numbers or even where they lived.
2 years later Kit goes to Thirsty Monkey for a job and Mikey hires her right away. She’s over qualified but she knows her stuff. When Mikey brings Sebastian to meet the new intern she hired, both Sebastian and Kit are speechless. Thoughts of that amazing, hot night come rushing back in their minds. How is Kit going to be able to work for Sebastian and how is Sebastian going to be able to get any work done with Kit as one of his employees.
Both Kit and Sebastian are very hot and cold with each other but the attraction is there and they cannot deny they both have feelings for each other. What will happen when a big secret is brought to light after they finally have another amazing night? Will they be able to see past this secret? No one is really at fault but it happened and now it must be dealt with. Amazing characters, great storyline and this was just a shiny 5 star read

Vermilion Lies by L. D. Rose is the third book in the The Order of the Senary Series. This story is one that took me for a wild ride. From the first page to the last page, I was engrossed in the story so much that i forgot about my surroundings. This story is a dark paranormal story with Cindel and Dax as the main characters in the story. They are both vampires who found each other. Sindel from an abusive vampire who rules New York and Dax who is there to help Cindel out of the situation she is in. Dax helps Cindel become a better vampire. Will Cindel and Dax plan work? Will there be romance in the relationship? You will have to read the book to find out about Cindel and Dax.

Spouse Trap by Cynthia Hamilton was definitely a five star read for me. I was Literally blown away by this book and I can’t say that very often. This book had it all. I’m typically a romance fan and even though this book was lacking in romance it touched on everything else.
Madeline Ridley had the perfect life. She had money, friends, organized social gatherings and a perfect marriage as she thought. One night at a function she gets into an argument with her husband Steven and he leaves her there. She wakes up the next morning in a hotel room with no memory of what happened the previous night. She starts looking for Steven only to find she is alone. When Steven approaches her with incriminating photos of her from the night before with a strange man and tells her he wants a divorce, her life begins to crumble. She doesn’t understand what is going on and thinks she was taken advantage of and possibly drugged.
Madeline hires a PI to help her figure out what happened and who the mystery man in the photos is. Steven is a high profile person with a security detail so she needs to be very secretive. She knows she is being followed. When she finally meets with Burt Latham her new PI, he helps her stay under the radar. When they are unable to find any information on the mystery man, Burt looks into other scenarios. During the week or so since the pictures surfaced, Steven has cancelled Madeline’s credit cards and froze their joint bank accounts. Now she has limited funds and is trying to stay in hiding. There is a lot of criminal activity surrounding Steven and now it just needs to be proven. Steven sends Madeline to Guam with 1/2 million dollars to get a quick divorce. While she is away her PI ends up getting himself into some trouble. When Madeline returns early to try to get a jump on things everything goes south. This book honestly keep me so entertained that even while I was lying in bed, I had the urge to read another chapter. I couldn’t believe how much action, suspense and heartache could be found in these pages. You definitely don’t want to miss this gem. Looking forward to the next book.

Spouse Trap by Cynthia Hamilton is my first book by this author. I found her writing technique in depth and fresh. Her characters are believable and personable. This storyline is enjoyable so much that i could not put it down once I started reading it. It is a mystery with a crime drama mixed into the plot line. Madeline is a “trophy wife” until one night when it comes crashing down. Madeline needs to start from square one and rebuilt from nothing. Will once a “trophy wife” now broken and beaten be able to rebuild her life?

Tracking Numbers (Lost Boys MC Book 1) by Janice Whiteaker is a book that will keep you on your toes and is a little fun in amongst all the hot alphaness and drama. It’s a good start to the series. The characters have back stories that make them seem more real and humanize them to the audience. The book started off strong and kept me engaged with the twists and turns the story took. Tracker has been told to keep watch over the princess of the MC. If only it was that easy. Kerri doesn’t want anything to do with the life of the MC. She has had enough and just longs for normal which she has achieved with hard work but when Tracker shows up all bets are off. I love the comradery of the MC and the guys and sassy ladies that stand by their sides. I look forward to the next book in the series.

An Unexpected Sequel by Heather Silvio is the fourth book in the Paranormal Talent Agency series. I recommend that you read the other books in the series first because there is an underlying story through the series. This book is about Robin Landon, a talent agent, who also is a demon’s minion. Robin has been asked to kill Jackson Mckee by the demon but Robin is unable to kill another. Like the other books in the series, this is a fun, quick read. I really enjoyed learning more about Robin and how she fits into the story. Also, it was fun to get her backstory and how she came to be a minion to a demon. I look forward to reading more in this series.
A great read about command. Robin Landon is a witch bound as a minion to demon Barbara Knollman and has done her bidding for five years. But when Barbara orders Robin to kill cameraman Jackson McKee, Robin struggles to carry out the order. When she refuses, Barbara hires a replacement killer and ups the deadline. Turning to reluctant allies, she comes up with a plan. Can she stop the killer before its too late and stand up to Barbara? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Robin standing up for herself but anxious underneath or Jackson as kind and caring but with more to him underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the sarcastic Evie or the supportive Catherine. A wonderful villain in Barbara manipulative and powerful that will send shivers up your spine. It was great to see her step out of the shadows from the last three books and beome even more dangerous and wonderfully written.. I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the office with the high back chair and the desk lack of colour against the bright red of Barbara’s eyes contrasting perfectly. Or with Jacksons house with its wooden floors and comfortable furnishings for a homely feel. Or the scenes with magic later on full of colour and energy so vivid its as if youre actually there. A great example of building upon the sequel with the addition of new fantasy creatures like the witches and the demon given the respect they deserve and true to their origins adding a sense of magic to this world and wonderfully written. I also liked the use of Barbara having premonitions, adding something new to the figure of the demon. The use of the linguistics of acting was a lovely touch and helped the reader understand. The combination of realism of offices and film sets and the fantasy of demons was combined perfectly and made for a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

Spouse Trap – A Madeline Dawkins Mystery by Cynthia Hamilton is the first book in the Madeline Dawkins series. This book is an absolute page turner and one that will have you hooked. The blurb for this book had my interest piqued immediately. What had happened for her to end up in the hotel room? What was going to happen now her husband had those photos? And what does she see at his offices? All these questions before I had even opened a page, I knew this was going to be interesting. I wasn’t disappointed. This is a new author to me and I loved her writing style. This is the kind of book that, once I picked it up I was half way through it without realising. The story just flowed so easily. I was intrigued and wanted to know more. This was well written with great characters – it is a strong start to a new series.

Vermilion Lies by L.D. Rose is the third book in the Order if the Senary series. This book can be read as a stand-alone but honestly you will definitely want to read the other two books!! This book was amazing. Dax can only be described as completely bad boy swoon worthy!! He captured my attention from the start and is definitely the reason I became so invested in this book. The other characters were great – interesting, engaging – but for me it was Dax who made it. To top it off the story was amazing. This author weaves such a tale you are compelled to read more – which I found extremely fitting for a fantasy story. I’ve read a couple of books by this author previously but this one has definitely been my favourite so far.

This isn’t my first book by this author. I enjoy her writing style and characters. Although I don’t know a thing about cricket I did struggle with this story at the beginning. Once I got going with the lingo and speaking manner I couldn’t put this down. This story is full of ups and downs as we follow the lives of Mathew and Rose. I enjoyed learning about them and what they went through to be together. My only issues is a couple times (after arguments/misunderstandings) it seemed the story just moved forward with no explanation or discussion to remedy the situation. I don’t know many women who would just let something go time after time after time. Then a couple times I wasn’t sure where we were (NY, London, the pitch) which confused me.
I really was saddened about a couple of events and shocked at others. I think their NY time together is my favorite part of the story. I didn’t have a favorite character. The two main characters really take up most of the story with a few minor one here and there. A nicely enjoyable story

Sebastian has always come off as a more mature person than his friends. So i was curious to see inside and what makes him tick. We get to see another side and see why he enjoys his friends and their ridiculous teasing and banter. I really love Sebass (to quote Mikey) he is such a great character. Romantic, Straight laced, calm (unless drinking) and honest (which i loved about him) plus he is more mature so he doesn’t do all his thinking with his emotions. I was worried early on with all the hot and cold he and Kit were showering each other with but I understood it all later. Kit fits in seamlessly with this group of crazy characters. She is outspoken, brash and has a good head on her shoulders. The more I got to know her the more I liked her.
As for secondary characters. I really can’t say enough and think enough about Sig and Peyton! They are the BEST! Sure it was nice to see Lia (with her made up names), Frank (grumpy), Mikey (outrageousness), Joe and the Crew. I love seeing them together but in this one Sig and Peyton take home the trophy.
The author continues the wonderful strategy of having the characters tell the story as well as talk to me…the reader. It’s a perfect combination. While this is the third in the series you can easily read it as a stand alone. The story was surprising, which I love, and fun filled. How can it not be with this crew!

I am absolutely hooked on Cynthia Hamilton and her character Madeline Ridley. I am so stoked to get my hands on the rest of the available novels in this series as I anxiously await the newest addition this summer. Spouse Trap is the high paced and gripping first novel in the Madeline Dawkins series from Cynthia Hamilton. I find it hard to believe anyone could pick up this novel and find fatal flaws. I had never read anything by Ms. Hamilton prior to this book, but I can tell you that I am now a full-fledged fan and will be devouring everything from her as soon as possible.
Madeline and her husband Steven Ridley are considered the couple to be by all who know them. Madeline’s got a few jobs she juggles but importantly most lately is planning a perfect and enchanting charity ball. Everything seems to be going smashingly until her husband decides things aren’t so perfect. Throw in the fact that she wakes up the next morning in quite the precarious situation and you already have some pretty fabulous reading material. Things never take a dull moment on and I found myself finishing this is record timing. Now off to the next book in the series, A High Price to Pay. Thanks for the fabulous read Ms. Hamilton!

An Unexpected Sequel (Paranormal Talent Agency Book 4) by Heather Silvio. This is the 4th book in the series and should probably be read in order to get the full entertainment. Its the continuing story of Robin Landon, who owns Landon Talent Agency. 5 years ago Robin made a deal with the Devil, literally. When the Devil orders Robin to kill Jackson McKee a witch who is a camera man, she refuses. To help her beat the devil she enlists the help of her enemies former members of the Paranormal Talent Agency. Not only does she want to save Jackson because she’s attracted to him but because she’s tired of doing what the Devil says. The crazy messes Robin and her friends get into cracked me up and the chemistry between Robin and Jackson is HOT! This is probably one of my favorite Paranormal books I’ve read!
Squall Line by Gwyn McNamee a five-star read you would go to sea for. This is the first novel in the Inland Seas Series and I cant wait for the next one, Gwyn McNamee is one of those authors you get excited to see they have something new coming out, one of those authors you need to read everything by, this one is no exception it shows us her great writing style and bring you into the story in a great manner, it’s not what I am used to reading from her, but I adored the style. War and Grace are so different in so many ways, but so good for each other and similar in others, they make the story so compelling. Pick up this novel as you won’t be disappointed, all I am sad about is that the next one in the series isn’t hear already.

I honestly absolutely love this author! Her books never fail to entertain me and I always fall completely in love with the characters she creates – obviously Salty Sebastian was no exception! I loved every second of it! Second chance romance stories are amongst some of my favourite stories to read and this was a perfect example of why I love them! Kit and Sebastian’s first meeting was hot, heavy and VERY steamy but what I loved the most was that even after a few years apart the connection that they found that night was still there! I was definitely rooting for them the whole way through. The dynamic of the relationship may be different this time but I could tell there was something still there between them! I really liked the little twist to Kit’s story too! I was hooked by this book from beginning to end – the authors writing pulled me in straight away! I am really excited to read more from her again in the future and I 100% recommend Salty Sebastian as a fantastic 5 star read!

This is my first book by Hamilton. Completely enjoyed this adventure. The main character, Madeline, is one tough cookie. She may not have thought she was but she proved that no matter what was thrown her way she would survive. Her husband, Steven, is easy to hate. His actions make it too easy. It’s hard to image someone as vile and evil as he is. The secondary characters of Burt and Mike added to the adventure of Madeline’s life. I am glad that this is just the beginning of this series and look forward to seeing what happens next.

This is such a wonderful series to read and book 4 was no exception. I find myself easily hooked into the stories and whatever the characters are getting up to. This story is about Robin and Jackson and I thought that they were great characters to read about. Robin had a job to do and I could tell as soon as she set eyes on Jackson there was no way she would be able to follow through. I was definitely rooting for them the whole way through. Once again I loved seeing characters from previous books pop up in this one – it gives the books in the series a nice link with each other. A great read splattered with some mystery and romance! As always I look forward to more from this author again in the future.
An Unexpected Sequel by Heather Silvio is a phenomenal paranormal read! It’s the 4th book in the Paranormal Talent Agency series, a series I would highly suggest. Though they can be read as standalones I would suggest reading each one as they are all incredible!
Without a doubt Heather Silvio always manages to take me on a wild adventure, one with many twist and turns and shocking detail all while still providing plenty of humor. Though this book is short the storyline itself still felt well rounded and not rushed and I loved everything about it.
I look forward to reading more from this author in the future and I would absolutely recommend this book and series to others.

What a brilliant introduction to R.L. Dunn this book has been. Secure Again: A Chase Group Story is an exciting, thrilling read that has danger, mystery, action, suspense and romance, to me some of the best genres a book can have. This book had me on the edge of my seat numerous times throughout and kept me wondering what could happen next. This was addictive read that had me turning the pages, and before I knew it I had finished it. It was a mentally visual read that felt as though you was there alongside the characters. R.L. Dunn not only created an epic storyline, but even better characters that brought this story to life, even more, Dr Elizabeth Reed & Martin Bailey. Elizabeth was a strong, smart & independent and Martin was the perfect male main character, they really did have some great interaction that made their journey in this read even more worthwhile.
I can’t wait to read more books of this series and enjoy more of what this author has to offer. I highly recommend this read!

Everything this author writes is amazing!! As soon as I picked this one up, I read through the whole thing because I couldn’t put it down. This story was an emotional roller coaster and I was so excited to see where it was headed! The characters in this book were amazing. I loved Layla and Kellan. They made the story fantastic! I cannot wait to read more by this author! She is turning out to be one of my favorites!! I would absolutely recommend this to a friend!
Murder, intrigue, another fun and engaging read. Silvio continues to weave a fantastic story that enters this universe seamlessly. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and this latest installment is no exception. Definitely will recommend to others.
Fantasy – check. Sexy – check. Fast paced – check. Emotionally charged – check. Such a very well written book. Rose continues to charm every reader with the depth of character and ebb and flow of the plot. Everything moves well and keeps the reader on their toes. I was immediately transported into this world and didn’t want to leave. In fact I was upset when the story ended (only because it meant reentering the real world. Very much recommended.
