Unloved is by K.D. Wood and is the second book in the Unwilling series. This book is best enjoyed after reading the first book. It picks up close to where the first book left off. The story continues after Neely returns from New Zealand. She is trying to figure out what happened to her still and pick up the pieces of her life. Hayden wants to move on and advance his relationship with Neely. The problem is that she has received a communication from Andrew that is bringing Neely back into his reaches as well as his mother’s. To make things worse the Tribal guard has come from New Zealand and Andrew’s mother is making demands of Neely threatening the people she loves.
There is much going on and I will not go into more detail. I do not want to wreck the book for anyone else. Like the first book there are twists and turns. When you think, you know exactly where the story is going there is a twist. The characters are well written and the story is a great progression. This is not the typical romance book. There are some supernatural forces at work again and some fantasy.
Neely is somewhat frustrating to me. I understand all the decisions she is making, some forced are difficult, but her reasoning at times drives me over the edge. I know some was to add tension to the story and also, she is young and inexperienced. Overall I really enjoyed the story and I am looking forward to third book in the series.

Unwilling by K.D. Wood is the first book in a new series. I thought that this would be the typical teenage romance with someone trying to break up the couple and some adventure. I was so wrong! This book totally took me by surprise. A huge surprise that I am still reeling from. The story is about Neely McIntire and Hayden Nelson. The two are graduating and have been friends their entire lives. The challenge is that both are in love with one another and they haven’t admitted their feelings to each other. Neely is confused about what to do concerning Hayden. At their graduation party, Andrew Huckley, Neely’s admirer, grabs Neely’s attention. This is the start of the craziness to ensue.
Let me just say that Neely has been having dreams that prophesied the events to happen but has never known what to make of them. I will not go into more detail because I do not want to wreck the story for anyone. Also it would take a lot to explain all the events that happen to everyone. This is was a great surprise of a book, which is rare for me. I was shocked and drawn into the story. I didn’t want to put it down. The characters were well developed and again the storyline was fantastic. There was romance, adventure, paranormal, and suspense. I highly recommend this and am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Boys Of Fall by K.D. Wood is definitely a book for mature readers and is my first book by this author, but will not be my last. This is a story about 2 college students Jerry Mathews, local college football star and Autumn Landry, who had to grow up too fast since her mother left, taking care of her father and her brother. She is a good girl who never stayed out too late and never did the crazy things college kids do. Jerry and Autumn had known each other for years and had a crush on each other since junior high when Autumn let Jerry know that he was taking her to the dance. Through the years as they both dated other people they ended up in the friend zone. When Mr. Landry suffered a minor stroke Jerry was hired on to care for their yard. On one hot steamy day as he was mowing he accidentally catches Autumn pleasuring herself, totally unaware that it was because of him, *insert blistering hot scene here* 🙂

It was the night of the annual bonfire celebrating the big game the next day. Jerry had hoped that Autumn would be attending as he had finally made up his mind that he was going to tell her how he felt and hoped that she felt the same. At the bonfire Jerry had just about given up hope that Autumn was going to show up completely unaware that Autumn was watching him from the shadows. It was at this time Autumn witnesses someone messing with Jerry and knowing she had to do something because this could interfere with his ability to play in the big game tomorrow, Autumn rushes in to save him not realizing that her attempt will bring them out of the friend zone. But can she save him in time and will Jerry get his wish and find out that Autumn feels the same way about him, he wants to be her last, and wants her to be his last. Will his well planned evening turn out as he hopes?
I loved this novella. The writing style of this author is great and flows nicely. I read it in one sitting as it’s only 60 pages. She developed these characters into 2 people you find yourself pulling for throughout the whole story. Not to even mention that this is one HOT and STEAMY ride. I sincerely hope to read more about these two in the future. I will also be looking up any and all of this authors books. No doubt a 5 star read.

Neely McIntire and Hayden Nelson have been best friends since forever and have just graduated from high school. After graduation Neely has plans to tell him just exactly how she feels about him but after a fight and saying the wrong things, leaves Neely feeling extremely angry and unsure of herself so she decides that she will keep her secret for now.

Andrew Huckley has been secretly in love with Neely McIntire his whole life. He has tried to get his hands on Neely for so many years and she has always said no to this very strange and creepy boy and to all his attempts at asking her out. Yet Neely feeling lonely and vulnerable after her fight with Hayden and she finally gives in and finally accepts a dance with him but little does she know she has already become a part of a very sick and evil monster’s plan.

Neely does the one thing no one saw coming and pushes Hayden away from her but he is refusing to give in and throw it all away and won’t, will not stop at nothing to get her back, even if it means the end of the earth.

Will Hayden be able to let the one person he loves go? Will he find the truth and Neely in time to stop the horrors thrust upon her? Will Neely be forever changed? Will Hayden be able to cope with everything going on? Will Hayden be changed forever? Are there really monsters in the world or a world we know nothing about?

This story is definitely original and took me to places I would never have expected in a million years. I have many mixed emotions about the story and the characters but I was unable to put the book down until I knew what happened next. What started as a teenage romance soon turned into a story that definitely left my skin crawling and my heart in my throat every step of the way. If you love paranormal then this book is one you will want to get your hands on.

Unwilling is the first book in the paranormal trilogy by K. D. Wood. The synopsis was intriguing but in no way did it prepare me for what this story really is about!
The beginning was crazy, you start thinking what the heck is going on and then come the first couple of chapters and it seems to be an angsty young adult romance with Neely and Hayden but then boom, it goes haywire and you are pulled in by the words on the page and you cannot put the book down and suddenly you notice that it is already past midnight and you need to go to work next day and you say hell with it and just continue … until … you … get … to … the … end … and ask yourself when can I read the second book?! And then you check and you see that the rest of the trilogy has been published as well and you have to take a very difficult decision – you need to go to sleep to go to work and plan a reading binge for the weekend!
I have never read anything by this writer before but I need to say that this one, this paranormal romance is a bomb, it pulls you in and doesn’t let go! Seriously, get a copy and plan an evening, no plan a weekend because once you finish Unwilling you want to read the following two like I did! You will not regret it!

BOYS OF FALL is the first novella in the Seasons Erotic Short stories and the first book that I have read by this author. The characters are well developed and I like how Ms. Wood’s threw in enough history to get to know the characters and can relate to them as people.
Jerry Mathews, the local college football star, secretly stumbles into Autumn Landry pleasuring herself, and he can’t wait another day to tell the girl of his dreams how he really feels. Autumn Landry is the college president’s daughter and has her eye on Jerry too, and he is the inspiration for her fantasies. But she doesn’t realize that Jerry wants her just as badly.
The annual bonfire is tonight to celebrate his upcoming game and will be the perfect setting to show Autumn how he’s loved her since 8th grade. But the team’s biggest rival crashes the party with a plan to bench Jerry, and Autumn is the only witness and she must bring him out of the friend zone to save him.
But will she be able to steer him away from the hidden danger and safely into her arms in time?

I highly recommend this short erotic story it’s hotter than a hdsexvideo.xxx video if that’s even possible and I can’t wait to see what this author has in-stored for us in her next installment of the Seasons series.
