This was a brilliant Paranormal romance read that was fast-paced, jam-packed with a brilliant storyline that had you hooked and characters that really brought the story to life. This is my first read from this author and it was a great introduction and I can’t wait to read more from her. I loved both these characters and their chemistry was coming off the pages, I really enjoyed seeing their relationship develop throughout it was steamy & flirty and exactly what was needed! I was well and truly hooked and I can’t wait to read more from Katerina Ross.

I give Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross Posted, 4 stars.
Wow, this nothing close to anything I have ever read before!!! I love that it is so unique — in the world of the Paranormal, so much has been done that it is so refreshing to see something this unique. The main characters intrigue me and I hope we learn more about them in another, longer book. The struggles he has and the way they control it — wow. I will say that this contains explicit BDSM scenes, so if that is not something you want to read about, this may not be for you. I you are okay with it, I highly recommend reading this. It is not very long, and I had no idea what to expect. But once I kept going, I found it hard to put down until I finished. I commend the author greatly!

Dragomir is an outcast magician who is trying to live his life one moment at a time. Having been cursed, there are times he can’t cope with it and the end result can harm others. His fellow magicians just want to protect themselves and others. Whereas Dragomir understands that, it doesn’t make it any less painful. Ida feels like she can help him if he would just allow her to. With her ways, he can keep stuff under wraps a lot easier. After all its not like it’s been proven that he can trust others. Can he trust her? Can she trust he won’t hurt her? Her teaching is rather unconventional but effective. Their journey though isn’t easy. Will love conquer all?
I enjoyed the fact that this was a little different than the normal PNR that I normally read. I also loved that Ida was in a position that was not the usual one considering the bondage. Both characters are strong types which makes them even more combustible when they come together! I would really like to see this be extended out or become a continuing storyline in another book for them. Really well written, and I enjoyed it.

This was a great story. Dragomir is a magician who was cursed. The curse left him with uncontrollable bursts of rage which he doesnt know how to deal with. Hes all alone in the world trying to survive and not destroy everything and everyone around him.
That is until he meets Ida a witch who seems unassuming and meek. How wrong his assumption is. Ida offers to help him and even though he thinks he id beyond help he goes with her.
Ida takes him on a journey of trust, learning to give up control and learning that being damaged doesnt mean he can’t control his life.
Together the learn to tame his anger on unique ways and Dragomir learns to trust someone not only with his body but also with his heart and soul.
Black Cat Security is a short yet titillating story. Dragomir is a magician that’s been cursed. Suffering from PTSD, he handles it by battling in illegal fights. Upon meeting Ida, the passion ignites. She claims that she can help him. What can she do that the high mages of Scholomance can’t? Unsure, he takes a chance with her. Her remedy turns out to be quite surprising. This is an erotically intense story geared towards a more mature audience. I loved it!

4 Star Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross is a short steamy fantasy story that once I got into I couldn’t put it down. I had high expectations for this book but it fell alittle short for me. I felt like some parts were rushed and wish it would have been a bit longer but other than that I truly did enjoy the story .This story is about Dragomir and the pretty witch he meets . He makes a living doing illegal boxing matches and he has a curse on him. He meets a witch one night who tells him she can change his life for the better. Can she really help him? Find out what happens next in this story. I would suggest reading book. I truly do look forward to reading more from this Author.

Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross. I definitely would have liked a bit more of a story. The idea and characters are great I just wanted more. It’s a bit on the rushed side which left me feeling somethings felt incomplete. That’s the only thing I wish was different, other than that it was a very enjoyable read. The characters are complex and unique. The storyline is interesting and engaging. I like the chemistry of the characters they work well together. I’m not in the mood often for a paranormal/ fantasy type but but I had no problem sinking into this short story. Four stars and highly recommended.

Holy hotness! Yessssss! I loved this novel! This was my first experience reading Katerina Ross but I can tell you I will be back for more! This book was non stop, it kept me hooked from the very first chapter until the bittersweet last pages. Dragomir Vucovic… yummy much? This alpha is one you don’t want to miss reading. Dragomir is a solitary man that is keeping his head barely above water after a curse is put on him. When he meets the sexy and intriguing Ida he never expected to have her steal his heart. These two were supposed to have the one hot night but will things change and these two get a chance at a love story with a happy ending? That is just something you will have to find out for yourself. Run don’t stall go grab this novel and devour it, you won’t be disappointed that you did. I am off to find me some more hot goodies from Ms. Ross.

This novel for me was a bit different. Although it was a paranormal novel, it came with a bit of a twist. Dragomir’s journey to learning how to control his curse was unique. The method use was different but, in the end, proved effective. If you are looking for some intense drama and not afraid to be adventuresome, then this is the book for you. Katerina Ross has a way with words and her story was delightful to read.

Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross is an interesting story that is a nice quick read. This is the first book that I have read by this author and while I enjoyed the basis of the story I did think at times it felt like there was something missing. I think because the book is a novella it felt like the story were a bit rushed. I definitely think it would have benefitted from being a full length novel as the story itself were good and I quite liked the characters. The author clearly has a strong writing style which carried the book forward. Overall this is a good book and I will definitely read more by this author in the future.

Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross was a decent story. It’s a very short, fantasy story, that grabbed my attention but had to work to keep it. The story wasn’t what I was expecting from reading the synopsis, and the ending was a little strange for my tastes. It wasn’t a bad novella though! It just wasn’t my favorite. The story was very well written, I just didn’t have much background information to go on. I’m not sure if it was a continuation of a series, or what. I liked the story, just again it wasn’t personally for me. Four stars for writing, because the writing was incredible.

Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross was a steamy and interesting romance. Witches, Mages, Warlocks, and curses. This was a fun book that I devoured in one sitting. Straight and to the point I could not put it down. Dragomir was placed under a cruel curse and Ida approaches him to help him with it. Her methods are different and it doesn’t necessarily mean the curse will leave but I enjoyed her creativity. This book was not what I expected and I liked that.

Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross is an original paranormal romance with a bit of a zany storyline. I would love to have read a longer version of this story, as this would have given the story and characters more time to develop. Because there were times through this book where I felt I was missing something, that there was something lacking- and other parts where the story felt a little rushed. It is definitely entertaining- but didn’t live up to my expectations, or in my opinion its true potential. The characters were intriguing and quite quirky- but, I didn’t connect with them the way I had hoped to. Maybe that is just me- maybe I was just having an off reading day. So, having said that, I will go back and revisit this story in a few weeks to see if I still feel the same way. Not sorry I read it- just wish it was ‘more’.

Black Cat Security By Katerina Ross 5 out of 5 stars
The story Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross is a paranormal romance book. The story is a short, steamy, and intriguing one. I loved reading about the characters of Dragomir and the pretty witch that he meets. Dragomir has a curse upon him and makes a living by entering illegal boxing matches. One night he meets a witch that says she might be able to change his life for the better. Can she help when no one else has been able to? Read this book to find out. This story pulled me in from the beginning and I found myself reading it all in one sitting. There are moments that make the temperature in the room rise. The character of Dragomir is very skeptical of the witch’s claims. Does the witch only have wicked plans for him or will Dragomir also learn from the experience? I found the witch to be secretive, bold, and very confident in herself. Don’t miss out on this story. Recommended reading.

This short paranormal romance packed a big punch in just a few pages. I found the author’s way of developing the story to be interesting even if it took a turn or two I didn’t see completely necessary to the overall storyline. But overall I enjoyed the premise of the plot and the main characters. A new author to me and one I am interested to see more from.

Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross starts out as a very interesting read. She builds a well described world, very interesting characters, (I mean magicians, can it get any better) and the flow of her writing is easy to read, and her world is easy to envision. It then takes a dark turn that took me by surprise. Ida, a witch, and a dominatrix takes Dragomir (who is surprised but not exactly unwilling) under her wing. Erotica is not a genre I read but different strokes for different folks. Dragomir has some serious anger issues and self esteem problems. Although this is erotica and will be very uncomfortable for some, I would be remiss if I did not point out that some of the things that the author points out about self-loathing, and how we think of ourselves, is of value. If this is a genre you like, I think you might get a lot out of this story.

I enjoyed this short paranormal romance story. It is a well written story with characters that brought the story to life. There is an engaging story about Dragmir and a pretty witch packed in just a few stories. He has had a cursed placed on him so he has turned to fighting to control his rage. One night is leaving him with a choice to make – stay in his dark mood or come out into the light and let the pretty witch work her magic. They are strong characters that at times don’t realize how strong they really are. Their chemistry together is steamy and supportive to their characters. I highly recommend reading their story.

I’ll be quite honest. I had very high hopes for Katerina Ross’ Black Cat Security. Witches and Magic and Steamyness? Give it to me now Please!! I was very very excited, especially as I started reading about Dragomir.. until I got a few pages into the book… and Dragomir was having some alone time with himself. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, we all do it, but It was his fantasy that was being described that got under my skin. Yes it didn’t go into full detail and he was even a little bit disgusted with himself for thinking such things.. but I would’ve been nice to have a heads up that that was coming. Once you got past that the story was still enjoyable and I liked it. I just personally had a hard time getting over that one particular scene, especially having gone through a situation like that more than once. It was a little bit of a trigger, which sort of put a damper and a dark cloud over the rest of the story for me. I could’ve handled it better I think had I had a little bit more of a warning. Other than that it was an interesting story packed into a small amount of pages 3 out of 5 Stars

Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross is a little quirky and unusual and definitely original. It is a quick read, but it is full on and Katerina keeps you guessing as to what is coming. It didn’t quite hit the mark with me as I felt it was lacking something, but it was still an interesting read.
Dragomir is a beaten down man and is filled with rage he cannot contain. Being cursed and kicked out of a brotherhood that was everything means he keeps to himself and illegal fighting is all he can do to find some semblance of normal. When he meets the strange witch, he wants nothing to do with her but she may hold the key to unravel him.

This was such a great unique read. I love finding new authors and this was a great book. I really liked the fact that it was a short read and that I was glued to the pages. The author has created quite a refreshing world and I love it from start to finish.
The absolutely explosive chemistry between Ida and Dragomir is quite the draw. I like how he is able to be helped if only in a slight way by Ida. I really could not wait to see how this story would progresses. I find the whole concept quite fascinating. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

4 Stars Nice short read, although I think this could have been longer and made into a novel, I see this story could have really taken off but I am pleased with what I got. I was sad for Dragomir having to deal with his PTSD and curse and all the rage he had built up inside. Meeting Ida I think saves his life. She is a feisty one, I like her style. She helps Dragomir with all his anger and by having him be submissive, and to his surprise it works. Again, sadly it is a shorter story, but definitely worth the read, I would recommend giving this book a try.

Dragomir, a magician with PTSD and a very inconvenient curse upon him, struggles to make a living, taking part in illegal boxing matches. Fighting is the only thing he’s good at. A sigil of anger makes his life into a constant fit of rage. Irritation turns into fury in a blink of an eye, and Dragomir isn’t happy about it at all. He doesn’t trust himself around other people, and letting out his aggression in a boxing ring or a street brawl seems the only way to empty himself of it for a while.
He used to be an enforcer working for the Scholomance school of magic. But his fellow magicians, the ones he’d always considered to be his only family, rendered him unstable and potentially dangerous to continue working with them. It left Dragomir completely on his own.
Ida, a pretty witch with a black cat logo on her business card, says she might change his life for the better. But as it turns out, her methods are rather unconventional. Having agreed to her therapy, Dragomir finds himself chained and blindfolded, completely at her mercy. Using both pain and pleasure and playing mind games with him, Ida brings out his frustrations and fears. Ida’s techniques are unusual, but she manages to show Dragomir how stubborn and fierce he truly is, still strong no matter what, and to persuade him he’s a survivor rather than a victim.
Katerina Ross lives in Moscow and works as a journalist. She travels a lot but always returns to her home city. In her opinion, it’s hugely overcrowded, but beautiful nevertheless.
