Hi, I'm Shani and I'm a mom of 3 teenagers. Reading is my passion and has been since the moment I knew what treasures a book could hold in its pages.I am an avid reader and have been from the moment I was able to understand a few words in writing. Growing up, I had my own little library. My Mom added to my shelves regularly and encouraged me to challenge myself with reading a variety of genres, from various authors and more complicated books.

She is the one person who cheered me on when I started writing my own short stories and poems as well. She wanted to free my creativity. Well, it worked! She also taught me that reading was beyond educational value. It's a moment in time to lose yourself in another story. An escape from your own reality and troubles into a whole new world. I still believe in that very strongly.

I have read thousands upon thousands of books from all types of genres. I've always read anything I could get my hands on. From her old Readers Digests magazines and books to horror, romance, true crime, humor, to the paranormal. I am definitely not discriminatory in my decisions of written material that's for sure!
