Lisa: Coming Of Age (Book 1 of The Guardian Shifters) by KM Lowe – Review by Shani Kenny

Lisa: Coming Of Age (The Guardian Shifters, #1)Lisa: Coming Of Age by K.M. Lowe
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Imagine knowing that your whole life you’ve been adopted. You know you’ve been well taken care of, loved, and supported but it’s not quite enough. That’s what Lisa has to come to terms with. She has so man unanswered questions when it comes to her birth family. She needs to find out what is the story behind her birth mom. It’s a journey she feels deep within her soul. She knows she can’t do this alone, so she turns to Marcus. He’s loved her for so long, and he’d do anything for her. But the question is, when the truth comes out will she embrace it, and him?

My heart hurt for her as she found out who her father really was, and losing her birth mother all in one shot. I couldn’t imagine having to deal with all that mess on top of finding out you’re not really who you think you are. Her love for Marcus really made a difference to not only her journey but his as well. They both were dealt with such heartache before they even knew what it was. It’s a beautiful story that is well written, intriguing and full of twists. I can’t wait to get started on the next book in the series!
