Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia Series) by Phoebe Alexander – Review by Kelli Harper

Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia #1)Sugar & Spice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sweetopia, a family theme park that is wonderful and family-friendly for everyone except those who are employees there. Long work hours, not great insurance benefits, are making some of the employees unhappy and there are rumors of an impending strike. The owners have sent their son, Cy, undercover.
Jolie, a single mom, working long hours at the theme park and a second job just to make ends meet, really has no time to spend with her 2 boys.

The chemistry between the 2 main characters jumps off the pages. They are always looking for each other and cannot keep their hands to themselves when they are alone, but will their respective secrets drive then apart?

Wonderful start to an amazing series. New discreet covers and this first book has additional material. I adore the Spicetopia series and this authors other works as well.

The Changed Man (The Olympic Peninsula series Book 4)The Changed Man by Cat Treadgold
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Book 4 in the Olympic Peninsula Series and this author has done it again. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and highly recommend them all. while they could be read as stand alone stories, I do suggest that they are read in order because the characters do overlap in these books and you will see how they grow and continue developing their relationships. It is really cool that even though this is Jake’s story, we still get to follow Joe and Ali and how their lives are developing together. Love, love, love this series!

Always on the run, always changing appearance, locations, schools. Never one for being in the same place for long, can Riley fit in at this Elite school?
Lots of trigger warnings, but if you have no triggers and like Bully romance this will be perfect.

Savage Lies is an enemies-to-lovers, new adult, high school bully romance with plenty of angst.

Dirty Heartbreaker: Hamilton Steelhawks Book 3Dirty Heartbreaker: Hamilton Steelhawks Book 3 by A C Sheppard
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This Hockey/enemies-to-lovers/sports romance is steamy in all the right places and there is enough tension between Colby and Gabby that it makes for a wonderful read. This is the 3rd book in the series but no worries, yes the main characters from the other 2 booms are included in this one, but you will be able to follow the story line with no problems. You do not have to be too familiar with Hockey or even ice skating to enjoy this book.

Wonderful story.

A cute short story about how a woman’s belief in God lead to the miracle return of her cat Muffin. The author based this on her real life, many different religions believe different things and that should be understood when reading this story, that the author’s views and beliefs maybe different than your own.

Riley and Cole share ONE kiss, but it is enough for both of them to know they want more. This is a high school bully romance starter. It shows you the dynamics of Riley and her mom as well as with Cole, his brother and their parents. It shows that no matter what background you come from, all families have issues. This prequel has drawn me in and I will be reading the series.

This series is a quick read and will definitely leave you wanting to know what happens next. It will be great to get the rest of Bella’s story.

This story was very well written and the characters were very relatable. I was able to get the story in my mind and it was so endearing. The way they each took care of the other when they were Injured or sick. the fake marriage that they both grew to want for real. I really enjoyed this story. This was the first in the series that I had read but I may go back and read some of the others as well.

The 3rd book in this series and you will want to read them in order as they do overlap and the storyline keeps growing and developing from book to book. This book is mainly about David and Maddie but you get a lot of situations arising with the first two couples from books one and two as well. The tension, both sexual and otherwise, between Maddie and David is felt on almost every page. I found myself rooting for them.
