What a beautifully illustrated unique ABC book. Some sophisticated words and illustrations to brighten the pages. Simply stunning and what a great way to broaden a child’s mind and make them want to learn the wonderful words used to describe the illustrations. My only issue is that I think the definition should be on the page with the letter/word/illustration. I love that the definitions are in the book but I think associating the meaning with the word and the picture would make it stick even more (in my opinion)

This is book 2 in the London Detective Agency series and it can totally be read as a stand-alone. I have not read the first book in this series and I absolutely loved this book. There is some cross-over as the main characters from book one are also in this book.
Tessa goes to James at closing time on a Friday night to hire the agency to help her discover who is leaving her notes and taking pictures of her.
James and his partner in the agency are on the case. Can the find the person terrorizing Tessa?
Wonderful storyline with very likeable characters. I will definitely be reading the others in this series.

The second book in the King Brothers series but this is my first read in the series. I was not at all lost as to what was going on and would totally call this a stand alone. Kellen is all business but when it comes to pleasure he is all about the fun with absolutely no strings attached. He wants nothing serious and makes it known. But will his fun come back around to bite him?
Well written and this story makes you really feel how deeply wronged Kellen was. I love Kellen and Salem as people and even more as a couple. I adore their initial meet and the end of the book.

I wasn’t real positive what I was getting into when I started reading these but I am glad that I jumped in. I enjoyed them all.

After a shocking notice from her ex, Josie has some kind of transition back to her senior year in high school. Not only that but she remembers everything from her “present” . This book takes me back to my own days in high school. Being of a similar age to Josie the nostalgia I experienced was awesome. But this book will definitely make you wonder what would you do if you had a chance to do things over again?
Really enjoyed this book. Wasn’t the ending I was hoping for but it is still a fantastic ending.

Book 5 in The Olympic Peninsula series definitely does not disappoint. Edward the oldest of all the siblings and a former priest is back home again and is trying to find out what his next steps in life are going to be. He has come to the realization that a celibate lifestyle is not at all for him. Though this is not the reason he left the Catholic Church.
Lisette is at a time in her life where she wants more as well. Tired of Reynard and his ways and knowing that he is growing bored with her as well, she ends things with him. Now what will Lisette do?
Both Edward and Lisette have some things to figure out in their lives in order to move forward. Is it a mistake to start something so soon?
This book is the fifth and last book of this series and I have loved watching all of the relationships and couples grow. Each book can be read as a stand-alone, but I recommend reading them in order because they do have very big roles in each subsequent story. I have absolutely loved watching all of these characters develop and come to life in every book.

It explains so much more about the guys in the bands and the girls who want to be with them. Cam, Mav and Becka are the main focus in this story but there are details about some of the others as well. After reading this I am now going to be working through my TBR so that I can throw myself into the full series.

Rachel and Miguel are just fantastic together. We meet them both in the first book of this trilogy and they haven’t disappointed me at all. I adore how they interact and their playful witty banter. I couldn’t stop smiling during the trip to the Zoo and the events that happened at the restaurant late that day. This book is every bit (if not better) as good as the first in the series. They can be read as a stand-alone, but you will want to read the first book anyway so JUST Go for it.

WOW … what a great read. It will keep you engrossed and turning pages as fast as you can read. Tess and Ryan have an instant attraction to each other, and their chemistry just keeps building. With the support of family and friends they overcome a few obstacles and eventually find what it is they are needing and wanting. I really enjoyed this first book in the trilogy and am excited to start the next.

Book 3 in the Hearts of Gold series, Casting Vows is a fantastic story. I have not read the first 2 books and honestly have no clue who is in them or what they are about but this story is wonderful.
Nico, Eden and Matty are amazing together and I was rooting for Matty and Nico from the beginning. But add Eden into the mix and WOW. I read this book in one day, it was so hard to put it down for work.

This book is very cute. The meeting between Drew and Katie is hysterical and had me laughing for the first chapter of this Novella. This is a spinoff of the Playmakers series (which I have not read and now must go read). I was not lost or in any way confused about the storyline and the characters.
This book was a quick, cute and funny read and I will definitely be going to get the rest of the series.

While this is book 3 in the Shattered Embrace Series, this is the first book of the series that I have read myself. I am definitely going to have to go back and read the first two to get more of the beginning of this story but I did not feel as if I missed a whole lot. This book can totally be read as a stand-alone. The chemistry between Justine, Jordan, and Derek is palpable and it is crazy hot to read their scenes together. This story will have you turning pages and dreading having to put it down even for a minute. It will keep you on your toes throughout the whole read.

The youngest of the family, Rocky has never met any of these family members and is nervous about going. After getting there and being so shy he finally finds his way out of his shell and enjoys himself. Wonderful story about meeting family that isn’t located close and about trying new things and meeting new people. The illustrations really helped bring this story to life. Sure to help any child when faced with meeting many new people at a family gathering.

There are points in this book that you just have to shake your head and laugh out loud. Then there are also points where you just want to hug Dec or even Kenna due to some of the crap, they have had to deal with over the years. They both come from single parent upbringings and therefore understand what it was like to be missing a parent but they grew up in very different situations. Both characters developed and grew throughout the whole story and they grew together. Fantastic writing and story line. (also for you E-readers there is a link at the end to get an extended Epilogue that will have you laughing out loud!)

I am not a huge fan of the paranormal genre but this book intrigued me and it did not disappoint. It was quirky, fun and imaginative. I have read several of Naomi Valkyrie’s books now and they are all well written and will draw you in and make you feel as if you are part of the story. Watching as Lock discovers the changes in himself is both comical and horrifying and will keep you reading just to discover what is next for the poor guy. Quick read and so worth it.

This book falls into so many different categories yet all I can say is it is a really good story. I love Anne with all I have in me. She is a fantastic person and wow she has a heart of gold. This book will draw you in and take you along for all the twists and turns and heartbreak, then patch you up with a drama filled HEA. I loved this story and was rooting for Anne and Declan from the first look in the rear-view mirror.

NEW TO ME AUTHOR. Ashley Erin actually had me in tears at one point in this story. That is a feat that not many authors have managed (even though several have tried). This is a very heart touching story and will pull you in quickly and hold you there until you read the last page. I am excited to learn it is just the first book in a series of which I am sure there will be at least 3 books. This first though is quick paced but not so fast that you lose details or events. Yes the Masquerade Ball could have been in more detail but honestly it was perfect for me especially the events after (IFKYK). I loved the writing and the build up of the emotions between the characters. The Epilogue… WOW. LOVE IT!

What an informative story. From reading the title we learn this is based on a true story. Very adorable illustrations of the cats and their humans. Learning about emergency kits and evacuations. All very informative and helpful for young kids and for pet owners alike. End of the book even gives you a list of all things that should be kept in an emergency kit.

The Love on Tap series has been one of the greatest series’ I have ever read. I am in love with the whole Brooks family. Their obsession with Big Foot, a pet skunk, and their quirky names all from past country singers. I am truly in love with them all and this fourth book has wrapped up the mystery surrounding all the incidents that have happened throughout the series. I am in awe of how the author, Ms. Sylvie Stewart, tied all of this up in a pretty little bow and WOW I sure did not see that coming. WONDERFUL series. I cannot wait to see where she takes us next.
