This book is a brilliant romantic suspense story and I loved the characters at the heart of it. Noah and Sadie has such as real and believable connection right from the start. I really enjoyed watching their relationship blossom, even with everything they had to face.
The story was intriguing. It was fast paced and exciting to read. I always enjoy how this author approaches a story and each of them are great stories. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Having only read the previous book in the series recently, we were excited to get our hands on this story. This is a great follow up to the first book and it was nice to see my children remember the characters and re-engage with them. This story was just as fun and exciting to read and it was lovely to join Craig and Linda on another adventure.
With every book I read by this author I always think that the next one can’t be as good. Yet time and time again she proves otherwise. I am already looking forward to the next book we can read as a family and always enjoy reading each and every book again. I would highly recommend this author and this book.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is my first book by this author and I was definitely intrigued from the moment I read the blurb. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the three characters. You could feel each of their personalities coming out and yet they all connected so well with each other. It was great to see their relationship develop, especially as they were all battling with their own baggage.
Overall, I enjoyed the story. It helped to progress the characters and their relationship but, for me, that is all it did. This book was about all about Petra, Weston and Callum, which certainly worked. I thought this book was a great read and a lovely way to be introduced to a new author. I will definitely be investigating more of her work in the future.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is an inspiring and fantastic book that I loved being able to share with my daughter. The messages and acceptance throughout these stories was incredible to see and it was a great way to have specific discussions with my daughter.
The fact that the book is a collection of short stories, rather than one whole story, made it even better. It allows the target audience to focus on one aspect, digesting it and being able to explore the ideas, before moving on to the next. This book is perfectly written with the audience in mind and even I enjoyed reading through it. This is a brilliant book that I would urge everyone to try.

I was so excited to get my hands on another book in this series and could not wait to start reading it! Even though we are nine books in, this series still feels fresh, unique and like it is getting better with each book released. As I expected, I was pulled straight into this story and it was the kind of book I had to read all in one sitting. I took me no time at all to get through it because the story was so incredible.
I loved the characters in this book. I think these ones have got to be some of my favourite of the series, although it really is hard to pick between them all. I just seemed to connect with them instantly, which made the story even better. I love the feel of these books and the tone the author has achieved. This is another fantastic story in the series and I hope it continues for a long time to come!

I absolutely loved this collection of romance stories. This author is one that I only became familiar with within the last year but her work has become one that I look forward to reading every time. I thought each one of these books was a fantastic story in its own right and I loved that they all had a different feel to them.
This is a collection I would struggle to pick my favourite from. I enjoyed each book for a completely different reason and I thought all of the characters were fantastic. This author was already one I knew I enjoyed but this series has solidified them in my mind as one to always turn to. This is a fantastic collection that I would highly recommend.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As usual, as soon as we saw a new book by this author, the whole family was excited for story time. This book really explores what it is like to use your imagination and it is definitely one that got all of ours going! It was such a fun story right from the start, and my two kids were fascinated with the idea of being transported to a boat.
The illustrations in the book were colourful and a perfect fit for the story being told. We marveled at them just as much as we read the book (which has been multiple times!) and I am sure we will do the same when we read the book again. This is a brilliant and fun story that is worth reading with your family.

This book is such a fun and entertaining story and a really great way of teaching children the important of kindness. The way the author has written this book is so engaging and captivated both of my kids right from the word go. The rhymes were well thought out and catchy and the pictures in the book made it come alive.
As a parent, I loved the premise of this book. Teaching kids how to be kind can be so difficult, yet this book discussed the topic with ease. We will definitely be reading this book again, and any more from this author.

Elusive Surrender (Sinful Duets #3)Elusive Surrender by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Elusive:Dark Millionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari is the fifth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. This is such a brilliant and intense series that somehow just seems to keep getting better. This book had everything going for it – amazing characters, strong chemistry and brilliant writing. It is fast paced and exciting from start to finish. The characters don’t have a typical start to their journey but it is one that hooked me immediately.
Via Mari is an author I only discovered relatively recently but she has easily become one of my go to authors. Whenever I see a book with her name on it I don’t hesitate to give it a go and I am never disappointed. This is a fantastic series and one I would highly recommend!
Tenacious: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari is the sixth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. This is a fantastic series that just gets better with each book. This has easily become my favourite book in the series, although I’m sure that will only last for as long as it takes to read the next one.
This book really is brilliant from start to finish. I could not put it down once I had started reading, I was far too engrossed in the characters and their story.
This author knows exactly how to create a gripping book. Each one I read is exactly the same and I never hesitate to pick up a book by her. This is a series that i would highly recommend.

I was so excited to get my hands on the next book in this series and I think this one has to be my absolutely favourite so far. I was hooked on this story straight away and it didn’t let up the whole way through. The characters were absolutely fantastic, and easily some of the best that I have read about in a while. Each of them drew me in, including the little brother. I thought the book was entertaining, amusing and a completely brilliant story.
This author has quietly become one of my favourit go to authors and this book is the perfectly example of why. It was well written, engaging, fun and truly a brilliant book to read. It can be read as a standalone but this is a series that is worth reading from the start. When I started reading this book, I expected a fairly exciting read with a focus on the romantic story. What ai actually got felt like so much more. The story is fast paced, action packed and a brilliant read right from the word go. It was so well developed and the author got the pace of the story just right.
I loved reading about these characters. Their connection was instant and really carried them through everything going on. The plot was full of twists and turns at every stage, which really made the book so much more exciting. As the first book in a series, this shows such potential and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next ones.

The Scent of Snow (The Winemakers Series) by Giovanna Siniscalchi – Review by Kerry Baker

The Scent of SnowThe Scent of Snow by Giovanna Siniscalchi
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is a well written and engaging novella, combining the characters from the author’s Winemaker series. It was great to see all the characters I had read about previously come together, and to focus again on the main two. I would definitely reading the other books in the series first however, this book can easily be enjoyed without having done so.
I thought this book was a great addition to the series. Although a novella, it seemed to pack just as much in as any of the other books and I found myself flying through the story. I easily reconnected with the characters and was happy to let the story take me on a journey. This is a great book that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Song of Earth and ClawsSong of Earth and Claws by Lena Abram
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a great fantasy story that really builds the momentum the more it goes on. It is quite a slow, and a little bit of a confusing, start as it launches straight into the games without much of an explanation. However, the more the story goes on the more you start to pick up the information you need.
I loved the main character in this book. The strength she possessed was obvious and it, for me, it really carried the whole story. I could have read so much more about her. The premise of the story was really good as well. I soon found myself immersed in what was going on and I wanted to see how things would play out. This really is a great story and one that I would recommend.

This is an interesting mix of stories, all focusing on different characters. I found myself able to read through them quite quickly and some were definitely more engaging than others. I think each of these stories has the basis of something great, but would have benefited from being full length novels rather than short stories.
I thought the authors writing style was great to read. The flow of each book felt natural and they were obviously very well developed. The stories have caught my interest enough that I would want to explore other work by this author. Overall, these are good stories and I found them to be enjoyable.

I was drawn into this story and the characters from the moment I started reading this book. There is such a diverse mix of characters and I found myself becoming invested in the story of more than one of them. They all seem to be tied together and I couldn’t wait to see how the author would have things play out.
The story itself is a great mix of fantasy and romance. The balance between the two genres is perfect and has something to capture most peoples attention. This is the first book that I have read by this author but, if this is any indication as to their overall writing style, it will definitely not be the last. The book was well written, intriguing and entertaining from start to finish. This was a fantastic book and I cannot wait for the next one.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Having read the first book in this series, I knew I had to pick up the box set containing the first three novels. I love the whole premise of this book – Mr Right Now. It think the whole idea is fun and inspiring. I did worry that I would find myself connecting with the men of each individual book too much and struggle to then connect with the next, but that is not something I found to be an issue. Each of them are so different from each other that I engaged with their characters no problem.
Each book is quite short as they are part of a 13 book novella but none of them felt like they were too short or rushed. I could have easily kept reading and after finishing one, I could not wait to pick up the next. This series as a whole is shaping up, already, to be one of my favourites of the year and I am very much looking forward to the next book.

Yet again, we have picked up a book by this author and been transported away to an imaginative, fun and creative world that the whole family engages with. We had recently been away to Scotland so this book not only allowed us to teach our kids about a well known myth, but it also allowed us to revisit the memories we had made.
The images captured the kids attention easily and we spent just as much time looking at them as we did reading the story. As usual, we have read the book multiple times because it was enjoyed all round and I am sure it will be read many more. This author will definitely remain a family favourite and we are all looking forward to the next book of hers we read.

I was pulled straight back into the story and the characters, as though I hadn’t stopped reading. I would highly recommend reading the first book before this, otherwise you would miss a lot of important content and information.
This book is even better than the first and I loved watching how the story played out. So much seems to happen and the story progresses, but the author handles it all with ease. The book is exciting and action packed, right from the word go. It felt like it was always on a knifes edge and could go anyway at any time. This book is well developed, interesting and a brilliant read. I cannot wait for the next one to see what happens.

This book is an incredible follow up to the first book and I could not wait to get my hands on it and start reading. This book is everything I was hoping for and I read it all in one sitting. It is just as dark, gritty and intense as the first book and I loved the further detail we get for the characters.
Kingston and Ava are not your typical couple, and are a couple that won’t be suitable for all readers. But for those who are a fan of this type of book, they are some of the best. I loved both of them because they weren’t perfect. They were flawed, dangerous and captivating. Their connection made them more real and I could have easily kept reading about them. This book was incredible and I would love to see more from this series in the future.

This book is a well written and interesting mystery story set in Vietnam. The story has a level of complexity and depth to it that I wasn’t expecting but definitely made me enjoy it more. This is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. Although, I will certainly be going back to read the first two!
I thought all the characters in this book were well developed. They each added something to the story and helped to create a well rounded book. There was a great attention to detail in the book as well; it really felt like the intended reader learnt something about Vietnam. Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable book that has piqued my interest about what else this author will have to offer.
