My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hit and Run by Diane Hester. Wow what a read!! I absolutely loved reading this book, it was jam packed with twist and turns. I love it when you read a book and can’t guess what going to happen next, this book does exactly that. Driving home alone one night Raina hits a man, imagine her surprise when he then points a gun at her and tells her to drive… The main characters in this books are just great Diane really makes you feel like you are right there with them on a crazy journey. Brilliant book I will be recommending it to everyone I know.

Phoenix Team One: Selected (Mythical Alliance: Phoenix Team Book 1). By Claire Luana.

This story follows Zariya and her quest to find out the true cause of her furthers death. I won’t give anything away, I will say I loved this book, it’s maybe not as long as I would like, purely for selfish reasons, because I was drawn in and I didn’t want it to end. It does not fall short like some shorter books tend too. If you like fantasy, action and romance you will love this book. I would highly recommend to anyone. A truly great read.

Sweet Salvation (The Protectors, #3)Sweet Salvation by Toya Richardson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sweet Salvation. By Toya Richardson. So I started on book 3, I’m now going to have to read the first two books. Wow what can I say, well it is dark, definitely dark. I think Toya is a wonderful author, I was almost in tears at the beginning of the book, the way she described Manuelas torments was both gripping a harrowing. I loved how this story progressed and the relationship between Manuela and Josh was heartwarming. A great read and I can’t wait to get stuck into the first two.

K.H Jones is such a talented author, he creates worlds I’ve never even dreamed of and somehow makes you feel as if you are right there in the thick of it. Absolutely brilliant. Another great addition to a new series I would highly recommend.

Hero High: Anger Book 2.

After reading the first book in this series I was so excited to get stuck into the second, it did not disappoint. The story picks up where book one finishes. I would recommend reading them in order to be able to follow the story properly. Whilst this book is only a hundred pages or so it does not fall flat or seem rushed, it’s packed with twist and turns and certainly enough fantasy to keep you gripped from beginning to end. Another great addition to a brilliant new series. Thank you Mina Chara.

Black Blade. By Alexander Charalambides.

When Fate Calls, Should You Answer? A modern day Excalibur story, i love old tales told in the modern day, I don’t think I’ve read anything quite like this book. The writing style was different, I loved how we saw it from each characters point of view. Hats of to Alexander on his great writing style. When on a unexpected school trip to the uk, Lance and Megan run into trouble at a museum. The big question is Will Lance rule the sword? I urge anyone to read this book, if you love magic, knights and fantasy you are in for a treat.

P.A.W.S.P.A.W.S. by Debbie Manber Kupfer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

P.A.W.S. (The P.A.W.S. Saga Book 1) by Debbie Manber Kupfer. A different kind a shifter story, I was really intrigued at the start of the book you meet Celia. Celia and family are hiding in the back room of there house in Vienna, when the Gestapo Soldiers came, Celia watched as her family was herded out of the door. The story then jumps to Miriam’s (Miri) point of view. The story of Miri is a sad tale to start, her mother gave her to her Omama (Celia) to raise up till she was ten when tragically Celia dies but leaves Miri a parting gift, a gift Miri doesn’t realise will help her later in life. I don’t want to give too much away but I absolutely loved this story. Debbie created multiple plots throughout this story that all tie together in the end. Such a good read would highly recommend.

I don’t want to give too much away so I will just say if you like, fantasy, superheroes and adventure then this book is perfect for you. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. Serenade By T.K Lawyer. This story follows Kingsley and Eva. Kingsley has been looking for his mate for a very long time, he feels empty and just wants to find his mate to fill the void in his hear. Eva is not looking for a man after her past relationship, she’s not too keen to start up another one just yet. Both characters were well written and easy to warm too. I love wolf shifter stories and this one is probably one of the best so far. I was pulled in from the start, the author kept my attention and did not disappoint, I did not want it to end.

Piper is down on her luck having lost her apartment, living out of her car and flitting between jobs, she is given a final offer from the temp agency she needs to make this work. Working as a maid in the House of Durand is not at all as she expected, her bosses are unusual to say the least but also very Hot!! I absolutely love this book, Piper is anything but the perfect maid she breaks things, trips on thin air and has just the right amount of sass. She sure has caught the attention of all six brothers in the Durand household. Such a easy read, I finished this book in a few hours, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

I was sucked into this book from the first page, the humour was refreshing and a bit of seduction to keep us following. Fantastic take on a old classic. I wouldn’t usually go for a retelling as I don’t like to know what’s going to happen, but this didn’t feel like the same story at all completely unique. Thanks for a great read.

Such a good start to what I think will be a fantastic series. This story pulls you in and keeps you wanting more, each page had someone new and did not disappoint. Camille was such a likeable character she’s strong willed and fierce, she’s been through some heartache but I think that’s what makes her who she is. Without giving anything away I really think you will love this book. It’s another series I can sink my teeth into 😉 Great read, looking forward to the next.

Red Riding HoodRed Riding Hood by Autumn Sand
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Red Riding Hood (Down the Rabbit Hole)

A collection of 12 Authors retelling of Red Riding Hood. I will list a couple of my favourite short story’s for this collection:

Ruby by Autumn Sand. Ruby is a writer and this story starts as she is dealt devastating news. We then jump forward a couple of years and things are still looking very bleak for Ruby. She’s asked to interview Count Edric Moreau of Paris, France, also know as The Wolf Of Europe, his reputation precedes him. Edric makes Ruby believe in herself again, something she’s not been able to do for a very long time. Mrs Sands wrote these two characters perfectly they draw you in and leaves you wanting more. I really enjoyed reading this story.

River Runs Red by Kay Elle Parker. Daughter of a Huntress. Offspring of a wolf. Armed with a red cape, a wicker basket, and a knife, River must make it through the wolf-riddled forest…but not everything is as it seems, and trusting the wrong people could get her into trouble. Having left her fathers pack 13 years ago, vowing never to return, River has to visit her dying paternal Grandmother. I read this story in no time at all, the pages just kept flowing I was gripped from the start and wish there was more to this story. Such a good read. Thank you.

I really enjoyed reading this Novella: Scoring Chance. With it being only 138 pages I wasn’t sure if the story would run short, it did not I assure you. Lane Martin has done a great job with this book, the characters are relatable and it was stacked with enough suspense and romance. The story had me gripped from start to finish. Eden tale is original and not what I expected in the beginning. Rhett is such a loveable character and came into Eden’s life just at the right time. I look forward the reading more books from Lane Martin.
