Hit and Run by Diane Hester. Wow what a read!! I absolutely loved reading this book, it was jam packed with twist and turns. I love it when you read a book and can’t guess what going to happen next, this book does exactly that. Driving home alone one night Raina hits a man, imagine her surprise when he then points a gun at her and tells her to drive… The main characters in this books are just great Diane really makes you feel like you are right there with them on a crazy journey. Brilliant book I will be recommending it to everyone I know.

Phoenix Team One: Selected (Mythical Alliance: Phoenix Team Book 1). By Claire Luana.
This story follows Zariya and her quest to find out the true cause of her furthers death. I won’t give anything away, I will say I loved this book, it’s maybe not as long as I would like, purely for selfish reasons, because I was drawn in and I didn’t want it to end. It does not fall short like some shorter books tend too. If you like fantasy, action and romance you will love this book. I would highly recommend to anyone. A truly great read.

Baba Ali and The Clockwork Djinn. By Danielle Ackley-McPhail and Day Al-Mohamed. Five stars all the way. This story was so unique, you definitely feel the steampunk vibes. Full of Magical mechanics, fantasy, Action and lots of drama. I really enjoyed reading this story and think the Authors did a great job at sucking me in and keeping my attention from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this book you won’t regret it.

Sweet Salvation. By Toya Richardson. So I started on book 3, I’m now going to have to read the first two books. Wow what can I say, well it is dark, definitely dark. I think Toya is a wonderful author, I was almost in tears at the beginning of the book, the way she described Manuelas torments was both gripping a harrowing. I loved how this story progressed and the relationship between Manuela and Josh was heartwarming. A great read and I can’t wait to get stuck into the first two.

Testament Of Feats: Book Of Sorrows. Having really enjoyed the first book in this series I was so excited to get the second, it did not let me down. The story continues where book one finishes, I would recommend reading them in order. K.H Jones is such a talented author, he creates worlds I’ve never even dreamed of and somehow makes you feel as if you are right there in the thick of it. Absolutely brilliant. Another great addition to a new series I would highly recommend.

After reading the first book in this series I was so excited to get stuck into the second, it did not disappoint. The story picks up where book one finishes. I would recommend reading them in order to be able to follow the story properly. Whilst this book is only a hundred pages or so it does not fall flat or seem rushed, it’s packed with twist and turns and certainly enough fantasy to keep you gripped from beginning to end. Another great addition to a brilliant new series. Thank you Mina Chara.

When Fate Calls, Should You Answer? A modern day Excalibur story, i love old tales told in the modern day, I don’t think I’ve read anything quite like this book. The writing style was different, I loved how we saw it from each characters point of view. Hats of to Alexander on his great writing style. When on a unexpected school trip to the uk, Lance and Megan run into trouble at a museum. The big question is Will Lance rule the sword? I urge anyone to read this book, if you love magic, knights and fantasy you are in for a treat.

Rune inherited a magical bar from her late Aunt and she hides her powers under the ruse that all spells are her late aunts doing. Then along come St Benedict and her whole world turns upside down. P.A.W.S. (The P.A.W.S. Saga Book 1) by Debbie Manber Kupfer. A different kind a shifter story, I was really intrigued at the start of the book you meet Celia. Celia and family are hiding in the back room of there house in Vienna, when the Gestapo Soldiers came, Celia watched as her family was herded out of the door. The story then jumps to Miriam’s (Miri) point of view. The story of Miri is a sad tale to start, her mother gave her to her Omama (Celia) to raise up till she was ten when tragically Celia dies but leaves Miri a parting gift, a gift Miri doesn’t realise will help her later in life. I don’t want to give too much away but I absolutely loved this story. Debbie created multiple plots throughout this story that all tie together in the end. Such a good read would highly recommend.

Descendants of Time and Death (The Gods’ Scion) by Winnifred Tataw. What a wonderful story. I could not put this book down and finished it in less then a day. Winnifred Tataw has done a excellent job writing this book, her world building is great, it’s like you are actually in the book with them, it’s unique and absolutely fascinating, I loved it! Rodrick and his brother Rayden are trying to stop a war, their relationship is put to the test for sure. I loved these two characters most in this story getting to know them was a pleasure. I urge you to read this book you will love it!

Denial is book 1 of the Hero High series it is set in the near future world of Icon City, a haven for powered one-percenters. I really got into this book, it follows Friday’s journey at hero high. Friday is a 17-year-old young woman telling a reporter her story and how she came to Hero High. I don’t want to give too much away so I will just say if you like, fantasy, superheroes and adventure then this book is perfect for you. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. Mini Chara has written this book brilliantly and even though its only 150 pages nothing is left out, the characters are relatable, and the story line is great. Thank you.

Serenade By T.K Lawyer. This story follows Kingsley and Eva. Kingsley has been looking for his mate for a very long time, he feels empty and just wants to find his mate to fill the void in his hear. Eva is not looking for a man after her past relationship, she’s not too keen to start up another one just yet. Both characters were well written and easy to warm too. I love wolf shifter stories and this one is probably one of the best so far. I was pulled in from the start, the author kept my attention and did not disappoint, I did not want it to end.
A Study In Spirits Collage Fae Book 2. By Byrd Nash is a YA coming of age fantasy book. Accused of vandalism and stealing test answers, Brigit must find the guilty party to stay at Leopold Otto University. I really enjoyed reading this book, quite lighthearted and very easy to finish. I started on book 2, so will have to go back a read number 1 now. This is the second book by Byrd Nash I have read and I think I’ve added a new favourite author to my list. Her writing is just brilliant. Thanks for another great read.

Testament Of Feats by K.H Jones. Boo 1. Truly wonderful. I love it when you find a great book and just want to get stuck in, that’s how it is with this book, the author must have a fantastic imagination the world building was out of this world 😉 I loved everything about this book. It is packed with fantasy and adventure, always something different to keep your brain ticking. The characters, while there are many, are so well written. I will be recommending this book to everyone I know. Thank you.

Indebted To The Vampires by Erin Bedford. Piper is down on her luck having lost her apartment, living out of her car and flitting between jobs, she is given a final offer from the temp agency she needs to make this work. Working as a maid in the House of Durand is not at all as she expected, her bosses are unusual to say the least but also very Hot!! I absolutely love this book, Piper is anything but the perfect maid she breaks things, trips on thin air and has just the right amount of sass. She sure has caught the attention of all six brothers in the Durand household. Such a easy read, I finished this book in a few hours, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

My Pretty by Madeline Fay. Wow this book had me laughing out loud many times. If you are wanting a good lighthearted funny read, look no further. I was sucked into this book from the first page, the humour was refreshing and a bit of seduction to keep us following. Fantastic take on a old classic. I wouldn’t usually go for a retelling as I don’t like to know what’s going to happen, but this didn’t feel like the same story at all completely unique. Thanks for a great read.
Blood Rebellion by Nadine Travers. Such a good read. I really got into this story and was sorry when it came to an end. Each page is teaming with information on each character and I love how it flips back and forth. I think Nadine Travers is a excellent author, who gives great attention to detail, nothing is left up in the air. It’s a short story but it doesn’t fall short on excitement. Excellent start to a new series and I can’t wait for the next book. Thank you.
Prophecy Girl (Camille Bishop Book 1) I knew the world was full of crazy things but nothing would prepare me for how crazy it would get: And crazy it was. Such a good start to what I think will be a fantastic series. This story pulls you in and keeps you wanting more, each page had someone new and did not disappoint. Camille was such a likeable character she’s strong willed and fierce, she’s been through some heartache but I think that’s what makes her who she is. Without giving anything away I really think you will love this book. It’s another series I can sink my teeth into 😉 Great read, looking forward to the next.

Summer Princess (Dark Fae Book 1) by Sloane Murphy. Wow, I loved it! I was gripped from the beginning. Sloane Murphy brought a mix of darkness and true fantasy, you get drawn into the fantasy Fae world, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Each character is has there own personality and perfectly written. I am so glad this is the start of a new series I get to enjoy in the future. Definitely a Five star read, I urge you to give it a go.
A collection of 12 Authors retelling of Red Riding Hood. I will list a couple of my favourite short story’s for this collection:
Ruby by Autumn Sand. Ruby is a writer and this story starts as she is dealt devastating news. We then jump forward a couple of years and things are still looking very bleak for Ruby. She’s asked to interview Count Edric Moreau of Paris, France, also know as The Wolf Of Europe, his reputation precedes him. Edric makes Ruby believe in herself again, something she’s not been able to do for a very long time. Mrs Sands wrote these two characters perfectly they draw you in and leaves you wanting more. I really enjoyed reading this story.
River Runs Red by Kay Elle Parker. Daughter of a Huntress. Offspring of a wolf. Armed with a red cape, a wicker basket, and a knife, River must make it through the wolf-riddled forest…but not everything is as it seems, and trusting the wrong people could get her into trouble. Having left her fathers pack 13 years ago, vowing never to return, River has to visit her dying paternal Grandmother. I read this story in no time at all, the pages just kept flowing I was gripped from the start and wish there was more to this story. Such a good read. Thank you.
Moonlit Mirage: A Cook Islands Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) Starting off by saving the life of a man named Cade after his car is run of a bridge, Nadia’s life changed, it was no accident she happened to be in the right place at the right time. Five years later. Nadia and Cade cross paths again, only this time she doesn’t disappear into the night. Although a short read it’s packed with suspense, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and am glad I have found a fab new author to follow. Great read five stars.
Lisa: Coming Of Age (The Guardian Shifters Book 1. Set in Scotland, Lisa was adopted 17 years ago and was raised by a lovely family. Her best friend since childhood, Markus and his Dad Jasper have been a constant in her life, then her whole world is turned upside down! No spoilers here but you will not be disappointed reading this book. The Author has created very likeable characters, set in Scotland you can almost picture yourself there. Would definitely recommend for an good fun read.

I really enjoyed reading this Novella: Scoring Chance. With it being only 138 pages I wasn’t sure if the story would run short, it did not I assure you. Lane Martin has done a great job with this book, the characters are relatable and it was stacked with enough suspense and romance. The story had me gripped from start to finish. Eden tale is original and not what I expected in the beginning. Rhett is such a loveable character and came into Eden’s life just at the right time. I look forward the reading more books from Lane Martin.

Call Of The Alpha: The Powder River Pack Book 2. I like that this book flips between Mason and Rylie’s point of view. Mason is Alpha of the Powder pack and single dad to Archer, he’s strong, powerful and a great big teddy bear in my opinion. Rylie is Wildlife Biologist who moved back home after a relationship breakdown, she’s a independent women, a bit of a tomboy and loves the outdoors. They are a perfect match. The relationship Rylie and Archer build is beautiful and pulled at my heartstrings many times. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Thank you Brooke May for a fabulous read!

In Other Words. Pamela Q. Fernandes really sets the scene, her attention to detail is amazing. I was drawn to Trish and her struggles in life, I felt her pain, especially young Trish, it was truly heartbreaking reading through her first 11 years of life. When Trish grows up and meets Micheal I think he was exactly what she needed to start to build herself esteem. Without giving away to much away, I will say this is a must read. The characters are brilliantly written and will draw you in from the start. I look forward to the next book in this series.

The Flame And The Blade. Wow I was totally sucked into this wonderful story. Meredith Hart perfectly painted this tale, the description was so thought out, it felt as if I was there with Lyria and Vethe in the Demon Forest. I found this book easy to read and it was unlike anything I’ve read before, I couldn’t guess what was going to happen. The characters were well written and very likeable. Really pleased this is the start of a new series, I look forward to reading more about Lyria’s adventures in the future.

Chasing Starlight. Cassandra’s Story. I really enjoyed reading this book. At the start of this story Cassandra (Cass) seems to be a shy and anxious young women, trying to deal with what life has thrown at her, she’s helped largely by her sister Halle and Cass starts to develop in confidence. Henry is a sweet young boy with a few troubles of his own and the relationship between him and Cass is heartwarming. I really hope there will be another book featuring Cass and Henry as I long to know what happens next.

The Sister Pact: Home Is Where The Heart Is, perfectly sums up this story. Jacquie Biggar sure knows how to pull at your heart strings. This was a heartwarming story, of family turmoil, resilience and redemption. I absolutely loved reading this book, it flowed so easily and took me a night to finish. Holly Tremaines character was witty, emotional and raw, definitely what I look for in a main character. I also love her Nephew Jacob, he was such a sweet little boy and came across very real. You won’t be disappointed with this book. Five stars for sure. I would 100% recommend this book.

Reading this book took me back to my childhood, with magic and fairytales what more does a girl need? The female heroines were a delight. I throughly enjoyed some of the the tales were set modern time and would highly recommended The Wicked Wolves Of Windsor to anyone who love’s fairytales/folktale.
