There is a lot of information on how people deal with their personal issues. The story does flow well and the characters are well developed. The characters’ actions and personalities are very relatable in real life.

This book isn’t what I expected at first. It was a little slow in the beginning but as the story went on it did pick up the pace quite a bit. The characters are very well-developed and they complement each other really well. I like how the characters are misfits and each has their own strengths and how their personalities are unique to their person. Also, the journey the group is on is not what I expected either, it’s very intriguing.

I love how this book has a different take on the original Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The Goldilocks in this story not only goes through the motions but notices certain things that need to be fixed. I like how the author incorporates different aspects of how Goldilocks figures out how to make a few new changes to what is broken and make it better than it was before. The illustrations are very well done as well.

The author does well with character development. Shadow will only let a few people in to see her true self once she determines that she feels safe with them.
