For this mechanic, anything is fair game.

Snapper Rodriguez never met a woman or a racer he didn’t like, until Gina Morales shows up. She’s butting her head under every hood, moving his tools and plain annoying. He’d rather fall down a mine shaft and lose his other limb than put up with her any longer.

Gina Morales is still trying to figure out what it means to be human, and as the first AI with a body in existence, she’s eager to find her maker. A racing garage like Full Throttle seems like a great place to start, though the head mechanic is an ass and she can’t help but get involved when their latest racing engine fails.

When Snapper and Gina are forced to work together to create a new engine and steal parts from competing racing gangs, the thrill of the job and the close quarters bring unwanted attraction. Too bad Snapper still wants her gone and will do anything to make that happen, even promise her tastes of human connection that she’s never experienced before. As things heat up, the threat to Gina’s synthetic heart grows, along with her confusion. They’ll have to decide if love is worth the risk or if this is a finish line they can’t cross.

This is a book I enjoyed reading. This was a fast paced story full of action, danger, romance, and wonderful characters. This book can be read as a standalone but I think you should read them all because I have and I think they are all great reads. The author kept me captivated with the twists and turns and attention to detail. I liked how the relationship progressed between Loyda and Big Al. Will they be able to find out who is behind the mass disappearances? I very much enjoy this author’s writing style. I recommend this book.

The Body Collector (Bad Boys of Space, #3)The Body Collector by Landra Graf
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this much more than I expected. The story is wonderful and hits all the right spots. The characters are larger than life. I had a love/dislike relationship with them over the course of the book. Loyda causes a lot of problems for Alexander and his crew always pushing forward.

I love listening to Alexander’s thoughts pertaining to Loyda. He is very wiley in how he goes about getting her. He also has a happy go lucky attitude. He seems cool calm and collected but underneath his wheels are spinning. Looking for other avenues. This is one guy to keep an eye on.

I loved the nod to the other book in the series. I hoped because Big Al is the brother of Toni we would see them. Wish granted!

Overall an excellent story. This author is able to weave characters that I come to care about. I can’t wait for more from her.

The Body Collector (Bad Boys of Space, #3)The Body Collector by Landra Graf
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Body Collector is the third book in the Bad Boys of Space Series by Landra Graf. It is a bit of a swashbuckling space adventure- a sci-fi romance with drama, intrigue, suspense, a little mystery, plenty of danger, hidden agendas, betrayal, corruption, politics, violence, murder, crime, humor, banter, set-ups, gun fights, and some incredible world building.
The story could be read as a standalone as each book in the series focuses on a different couple- but having said that, some of the characters play a part in each book, meaning there are quite a few recurring characters that add an interesting dynamic to the story/series. I really recommend reading the first two book before reading this one, as they will certainly elevate your enjoyment of this book with character details, dynamics, and interesting backstories.
Loyda Miles is an Investigator working undercover- assigned to try get to the bottom of a drug distribution ring- and find out why so many people have disappeared from all over the sector. Her search has led her to a BCS (Body Collective Service) ship and its motley crew. So, she signs on as part of the crew to see what she can unearth. Loyda soon realizes that what seemed like a simple undercover assignment isn’t quite as straightforward as she thought- and she may be completely out of her depth. Finding the crew involved in some shady and illegal dealings, she uses the information to blackmail the hunky captain into helping her with her mission. Things get even more complicated when her boss is killed and she is accused of the crime. Loyda is now on the wrong side of the law- a fugitive, and at the mercy of the very man she blackmailed not so long ago. With danger lurking around every corner, sizzling chemistry about to boil over, and the authorities hot on their tail- Loyda is determined to uncover the person/s responsible and clear her name. But she is up against a powerful enemy who is determined to stop the real truth from ever emerging- at all cost! So, strap yourself in, because this quite a gripping ride.

Thank you, Landra Graf!

I truly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to go back and read the first two books. This Is Big Al and Loyda’s story. The chemistry between these two is out of this world. This book is full of twists and turns that had me reading long into the night, but it was worth the tiredness I felt all day today. I highly recommend this book.

This is my second book by N.L. Holmes. I enjoyed reading The Crocodile Makes No Sound, A Lord Hani Mystery- an intriguing ancient Egyptian thriller. My opinion is you have to read them in order so if you haven’t read Bird in a Snare (book 1) – do that first. Lord Hani is still facing dangerous situations and doing his best to go through every investigation. Every story I’ve read from N.L. Holmes is always well written with amazing characters and storylines that always give awesome action and great stories.

The Body Collector by Landra Graf is the third book in the Bad Boys of Space series. This book can be read as a stand-alone m.
This book is a great story – it felt fun and exciting throughout. Although it was shorter than I had expected it felt like quite a lot happens in the book without it being rushed. The characters were really interesting. The relationship between them felt real and believable. This definitely helped make it even easier to connect with them and the story as a whole.
This is the only book I have read in this series but I will be making sure I go back to read the previous 2. A great book and one I thoroughly enjoyed.

The Body Collector by Landra Graf a fantastic five-star read. This is number three in the Bad Boys of Space series and it can be read as stand-alone as I have only read one of the previous two stories in the series and didn’t feel that I missed much. The chemistry in this story was great, it really came alive, there was something that kept me hooked from the first page until the last, there is so much covered in this story, and the subject matter can get deep, but the author deals with it all so well. Al and Loyda will enrapture you, they will make you feel like you are part of their story.

The Body Collector (Bad Boys of Space Book 3) by Landra Graf is a fast-paced shorter story that Landra has done a good job with the plot and the world building as well as the characterisation. I didn’t really know what to expect as I make a habit of not reading the blurb beforehand as I like to be surprised and let me tell you surprised, I was, but in a good way. With action and mystery, drama and suspense, danger and passion and let’s not forget the oozing chemistry.

A conspiracy, a wanted woman, danger and a fight to find the real perpetrator.

The Body Collector by Landra Graf is the third book in the Bad Boys of Space series. This can be read and enjoyed as a standalone story. The story focuses on Big Al and Loyda. The two of them are in opposite parts of society but happen upon one another. Can one possibly be able to help the other? I enjoyed the characters and the space setting. It gives the story a bit of unrealness but still grounded in a futuristic reality. This story is a quick read and has action, adventure, twists, turns, and romance. There is something for almost everyone who wants to get away for a bit. I see this series as getaways from the seriousness of life. Don’t we all need that this year? I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

This was an amazing read! There was so much going on that I was completely glued to the story from beginning to end. The story was really well written, it had a fast pace to it – I honestly loved every minute of it. The characters Al and Loyda were really great to read about, they had so much chemistry between them. There were some great twists in the plot and this definitely helped keep my attention the whole way through. Although the story is on the shorter side there is absolutely nothing missing at all. I loved reading the book The Body Collector (Bad Boys of Space Book 3) by Landra Graf. It is a story that has action, danger, conspiracy, and romance. It had me hooked from the very beginning. The author has a wonderful way of making both the storyline and the characters come alive. It is a book that takes you on a journey into space in which you never know what is going to happen next. It had me on the edge of my seat. The story is about Alexander “Big Al” Smith and Loyda Miles. Al is a body collector who has gotten caught by Loyda. From the first time that Al sees Loyda, he finds himself intensely attracted to her. Loyda also feels the same attraction. Loyda finds herself a wanted woman. Will she be able to clear her name? Will Al help her? Who is responsible for the mass disappearances? How will Al and Loyda deal with their attraction to one another? This is a story that is fast-paced and enjoyable to read. There are romantic scenes as well as dangerous ones. Who will survive? Don’t miss out on a story that will keep you on your toes from beginning to end. You won’t be able to put it down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her yet. One thing I enjoy about this author is her ability to pull me into the story with ease. Her story is easy to read and entertaining. This book is no different. This is a shorter story that is part of a series which I highly suggest reading all of. This author’s attention to details made me feel as if I was right there with the characters. I had no issues connecting to them and really enjoyed the journey they brought. They bring lots of action, mystery and suspense. Al black markets body parts and Loyda is an investigator and is willing to do anything to capture her culprits. What will happen when she finds herself begin accused of murder and only one person can help her prove her innocence? They are such great, strong characters that made the story for me and kept me turning pages. This is a fast paced, easy story to read which I highly recommend.

When Loyda finds herself wanted for her boss’s death, the tables turn and Al’s the one in a position of power. In exchange for protection and his help in getting the people responsible, she’s willing to help clear his name. Emilio and Toni live in a rough time and both have been hurt in different ways. Though their souls are bent, they are not yet broken. In the story, they are placed in a position that could cost them everything. These are not two perfect people. Each has flaws and traumas, and they fight (sometimes with each other and other times for each other). I love how they change during the story!

This story has so much such as spacey adventure, contains both romantic love and familial love, action, and danger! It went from action to action, which kept me on my toes! I loved getting to know Gina and the crew! These characters really added to the story, and I really hope to get to read more about this motley crew.

A Talent for Trouble was a great read. It is the first book that I have read by this author and it didn’t take me long at all to get into the story. I really liked the space adventure part of the story I thought it was really interesting to read about. I thought that the characters were well thought out. For me, I liked how I wasn’t so keen on Emilio at the very beginning but I warmed to him as the story progressed. I loved Antonia from the start, she was feisty and sassy – she also had such great relationship with her crew, they all respected each other and were like family. I enjoyed watching Antonia and Emilio’s relationship blossom, the chemistry was there from the beginning but it was nice to watch it grow into something else as their story evolved.
I really liked the author’s detailed writing, she really brought the story to life through her words. The story was unpredictable and I loved that about it. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series and reading more from this author again!

A Talent for Trouble by Landra Graf is the first book in the Bad Boys of Space series. This is set in a space science fiction setting but has a gangster feel to it with some romance and intrigue. The main character Emilio is a drug runner and a lady’s man. He is trying to work himself up to the big time. Antonia is trying to get back her bootlegging ship so that she can work for herself and not have to rely on a man.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked this up but was intrigued by the title and cover. I was not disappointed. This was a fun read and I enjoyed the story. The characters were different and it took me time to decide how I felt about them. My opinions changed as I was reading. I look forward to reading more in this series.

A Talent for Trouble is book one in the Bad Boys of Space series by Landra Graf. This is my first dabble into this author’s work, and I was excited to begin. Discovering new author’s is like a never ending gift and leaves me with a feeling unlike any other. Discovering amazingly talented author’s is even better.

Emilio is a drug runner and stuck in an unexpected situation with Toni, who is fed up with men. Forced together, they must face danger, madness and mayhem, to get their HEA. Emilio is a cheeky, self absorbed character that really grows on you, albeit begrudgingly. He wants what he wants and is not ashamed of his determination and arrogance. Toni can handle what he dishes out,  and has plenty of fuel to add to the fire. Their personas compliment each other in a dysfunctional way, but it totally works for them. The dramatics are endless and tension is always at an all time high. Attraction, satisfaction, danger and suspense are just some of the feelings packed into this drama. Emilio and Toni are an energetic duo that will amuse, annoy and captivate you. A book that is always entertaining. 4 stars

I can’t remember if I’ve ever read a book series that was specifically set in space but I’m excited to read more.
The science was plausible, the sexual tension was thick, and the plot was captivating. Morales was kind of annoying in the beginning with his smug, arrogant attitude. But eventually he deflates his ego a bit and Toni just wants to use him as a means to an end. She never again wants to be under a man’s thumb again. She wants to be her own boss in every sense but there’s just something she can’t ignore about about that handsome smuggler.
I don’t want to give away any of the ending but I’m really excited to see how the rest of the series goes.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A great read about consequences. In a bid to get ahead in his career as a drug runner across space, Emillio Morales does a big time deal with the boss Gercia. But things get complicated with a double cross from his partner. By chance he is saved by a woman named Toni. On the run across space, Toni and Emillio attempt to survive it together, and brave whatever trouble comes their way. Can they make it out alive?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Emillio sure of himself but kind nature underneath
or Toni standing up for herself but also with a vulnerability to her. Great cast of supporting characters like the eager helpful Sampson or the annoying Gina. A great villain in Gercia as a people manipulator realistic in the space setting.
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel in the sense of luxury of long corridors and red couches and the intricate gold plated doors vivid in colour and a sense of ridiculous wealth. Or the stars and open space full of wonder and beautifully written. and the spaceships as a source of adventure through the stars but also the feel of home with their homely comforting interiors.
And the beautiful and bizarre nature of Callisto with the bright lights or Mars with its cities and red dust for the otherworldly sci fi feel but still realistic.
The mix of the sci fi nature of spaceships and other worlds but the realism of drugs and cartels was combined perfectly for a wonderful read. I loved the sense of the chapters flowing into each other for a fast paced feel to fit the action of the story. Fast paced action and high stakes in a sci fi world made for a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

The first book in a new series, A TALENT FOR TROUBLE is a sci fi space story. The male protagonist reminded me of a cross between Hans Solo, Buck Rogers and Starlord.

This was a quick and detailed read that has space travel, suspense, good old fashioned scum baggery, romance and humor.

The action moved swiftly, the story is told with a particular cadence that was easy to read and it held my interest .

This is the first story I’ve read by this author and I look forward to reading more.

I really enjoyed reading this story, it was full of adventure, danger, suspense, and romance. Emilio and Toni were wonderful characters who I couldn’t help but get completely invested in their outcome. They found themselves in dangerous situations and an unexpected attraction. I loved Toni’s character from the beginning, she’s independent, sassy, and tough. It took me a little longer to warm up to Emilio, but once I got to know him I really liked him. This story kept me guessing, not sure what was going to happen next. Were these two going to be able to get out of the dangerous situation they found themselves in? Will they find love in each other? These things and more you will find out when you read this very entertaining story. I recommend this book and I can’t wait to read the next one in this series.

A Talent for Trouble (Bad Boys of Space Book 1) by Landra Graf is a science fiction romance story that is full of action and danger, adventure and a little romance. This is my first book by Landra and it is well written and intriguing. This is a space story where there are battles and the hope of survival, whilst those in power rule their domain with heavy handedness and murder. It is interesting and very entertaining as we travel on this journey with these lovable quirky characters that Landra has created and bred life into. The banter between the characters is entertaining, as is the comradery and friendships and the knowledge that family does not have to be by blood.

Emilio Morales has never had much luck and it seems to be getting worse. He has made a deal with the devil and one that has terrifying consequences. But before he can begin he has to face a devil of his own and in doing so, he encounters the most frustrating woman in the universe and that one woman is determined to make his life hell.

Toni Smith is sassy and independent and has always had a rough life and always finds herself in the wrong situations. On a quest to find what is rightfully hers, she encounters the most frustrating man in the universe and that one man is determined to make her life hell.

This is a fun story that should not be missed by those who enjoy this genre. I wonder where Landra takes us next.

It’s the first novel in the Bad boys of space books and I am anticipating the next will be just as good if not better. Toni Smith is a great character, one you will adore from the very first page. The rest of the characters are great but there was something about her that just shone out, much like a bright star in the sky’s. This was a great adventure and the seat of your pants anticipation will keep you hooked.

Bad Boys of Space A TALENT FOR TROUBLE by LANDRA GRAF

Four Stars

This book took the drug business to a new level. You’re put into a place that is only a dream. A place where we are loving and interacting with other beings. I liked the thought process and details the author put into this story. To visualize a world where anything is possible. I really liked the characters. Emilio is a strong character that shows his weaknesses. He didn’t falter or let his ego show because Toni was stronger or better at things. He took his losses and changed the outcome. Toni was a perfect balance. She was hard but soft. She learned to bend on certain situations but stepped forward when she didn’t agree. She held her own, doing for no one. I’m glad Emilio enjoyed her fiery side. They were the perfect balance for each other. I would love to see the world come to a place like this story. Except the drug part.
