If The Shoe Fits (The Liberty Lawrence Series Book Three) by Bea Stevens – Review by Lucy Berson

If The Shoe Fits... (The Liberty Lawrence Series Book #3)If The Shoe Fits… by Bea Stevens
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

If The Shoe Fits, The Liberty Lawrence Series Book Three, is by Bea Stevens.
This is the third book in this series. I believe that to get a better understanding of the series, the previous books should be read first.

Liberty is a fashionista……. she loves everything about it, especially her Louboutin’s……. when she is chosen to write for the fashion section she jumps for joy!!!! Her dreams are coming true. What she doesn’t expect is her new boss to be horrendous. When she starts to “investigate” the new designer of a clothing line, she finds things are not as they seem. As the mystery starts to unfold, you won’t be able to put this book down!!!

I can not wait for more from this author and this series!!!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Little Do You Know, Devils Bayou Mc Book 5, by A.M. Myers. This is the fifth book in the Devils Bayou Series. I have read all of the previous books and was so excited to read Noah (Hennessy) and Kady’s book. Before Noah was in jail, him and Kady were inseparable. All he could think about was getting out and finding his girl. They have loved each other, for what seems like forever. So when Noah gets released, and he can’t find Kady, he gets his “brothers” to help him. What he finds, doesn’t sit well with him. Noah refuses to accept the fact that she has a boyfriend and when she says she doesn’t love him anymore, he knows she is lying. He just has to make her see things his way.

Rules of Engagement: A Single Dad Romance (Platonically Complicated Book 3) by Mika Jolie – Review by Lucy Berson

Rules of EngagementRules of Engagement by Mika Jolie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rules of Engagement: A Single Dad Romance, (Platonically Complicated Book 3) by Mika Jolie. I have read most of this author’s work and I can honestly say, I truly enjoyed them all and this book was no different.
This could be either a forbidden friends type of a book or even a best friends little sister book but either way it was a fabulous read. Lucas wants to focus on his life with his daughter but his ex wife is wanting to make things extremely difficult for him. When his best friends younger sister, Kate, who is also a great friend to him, comes up with a way to calm the bitter custody battle. She will become his “fake” fiancé. Sounds like an amazing plan….. except that Lucas has been having thoughts about Kate for a while now…. and Kate has always had a crush on Lucas. What could possibly go wrong, or right………. All I know is that this is definitely a must read!! You will fall in love!!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Light at Dawn by K.L. Montgomery. I have read many many books by this author and I can honestly say that I have loved every single one of them. This book was the total opposite of her previous books but it is definitely a must read. This book was heartbreaking and you will go through at least a box and a half of tissues. How do you overcome the loss of a child???? You don’t, you just hope and pray to be able to survive. Hoping to find someone or something to get you through an extremely dark time. When you dive into this book……. be prepared for the tears to come and not stop. Definitely worth reading!!!!

The Shape Of Trust, A Stand By Me Novel Book 5, by Brinda Berry. I have read other books by this author, so when I saw this book, I just knew that I had to read it.
What would a guy do when he has to go from living the life all single guys want, to having a cute as a button five year old to take care of???? Can he go from partying and living life to taking care of his daughter that he never knew about. Throw in a quirky, sexy nanny……. this book is everything I was looking for and much much more. The chemistry, love and emotions in this book had me on the edge of my seat waiting for what was going to happen next. I can not wait for more books by this fabulous author!!!

Building Storm- A Hawke Family Novel (The Hawke Family Book 4), by Gwyn McNamee.
This is the fourth book in the Hawke Family Series. I fell in love with this author and this series from the first page of the first book. I have been waiting to read Storm’s story. This book had me hooked especially when Landon came into the picture. Their pull to each other was magical. They were both emotional wrecks that needed each other to heal. I both laughed and cried while reading this book!!!
I absolutely love Gwyn’s books and can not wait for more!!!!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tapped by Tarrah Anders. This is an author that I have read many books by and I absolutely love her. I do love a good second chance romance book and this was definitely one.
Janae hasn’t dated since her high school boyfriend. She keeps herself busy managing a busy bar in Vegas. When she sees Kai in her bar after one of her shifts, she isn’t sure what to think. Will they be able to give their relationship another chance or will someone and or somethings get in the way…….
