Yes!! Another alpha couple and I love it. The Blood oath is the second book in the Mafia Elite series. It was just as good as the first one. I enjoyed reading it. It follows Sofia and Enzo (love that name ever since vampire diaries🤣) on their emotional ride love story. I for one couldn’t put it down, finishing in one day. On to the next book. I now have to read all of them to see what happens with the other characters. P.S I loveeeee Katya she’s kick ass!

Book #2 Blood Oath Amy McKinley did it again with book 2 of this intriguing series! Full of page turning drama & suspense that will leave you on the edge of your seat, anxious to see what happens next!
Enzo Vitale and Sofia La Rosa, while touched upon in Book 1, Ms. McKinley made this breathtaking couple the primary focus of book 2 in the series. Enzo & Sofia, grew up in the complex mafia world as best friends all through childhood. It was only natural that the pair would develop a great degree of love for each other as they grew older. Unfortunately, circumstances and an unspoken rule had always kept them apart as lovers. With past secrets brimming at the surface, Sofia finds herself thrown into Enzo’s welcoming arms. Enzo has always considered himself Sofia’s protector and will stop at nothing to keep her safe—even if by being with him, a huge target is painted on her back. Will their love that began in childhood be strong enough to whether the storm, when family secrets resurface and threaten to tear them a part? Fast paced, action packed, steamy thriller engages all the senses. While Book 1 of this series left me on the edge of my seat, I was shocked that book 2 could compare to or even surpass the romantic suspense and energy found within the first one!

I loved their story. Trey and Hailey’s story had such depth to it and such emotion. Trey fights hard to not fall for Hailey due to how hard the loss of his first love broke him. However Hailey is no stranger, and when he becomes involved striking a deal with her it turns the pages quickly. Hailey has always had a crush on Trey and now together under 1 roof it opens both their eyes to the love they could share. Book 6 brings more of the drama, action, angst, spice, and love with our favorite mafia family’s and its not something to be missed.

I enjoyed Trey and Hailey’s story. Everything I have read from this series has been really good! I think I love Trey the most of all the men in this series though. Even though he is still a member of a ruthless and powerful mafia family he is also kind and compassionate and a doctor. It was easy to get behind Hailey’s cause and want to see them take down her traitorous stepfather, and find love in the middle of it all.

Hailey staged her own kidnapping in order to extort money out of her stepfather. When Trey was enlisted to help find her, he realized what her plan was and decided to help her. Together they work to get the money from her stepfather all the while trying not to fall in love with each other. When things start happening beyond their control, they must lean on each other to survive. Opinion Of all of the books in this series, this one ends in the biggest twist that I’ve seen in a book in quite a while. It is well worth the read just to see what that twist is. The back and for dance between Trey and Hailey is cute and almost innocent. With Trey being the doctor of the family, there was not enough action for me in a mafia book.

I love this series! Every book just hooks me some more. As the series goes on, I find it harder to pick a favorite. But this just might be my favorite so far. The chemistry between Trey and Hailey was amazing! So much heat and fire! I think Trey might be my favorite character so far. He seems so sweet and intelligent, even though he’s part of the mafia family I can’t help but love him. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book when we get Nico’s story.

Elena and Marco are back again in book 4 of the Mafia Elite series. They had that amazing instant connection that makes every woman jealous. Again, this is book 4 in the Mafia Elite Series and Ms. Amy McKinley did not disappoint. The characters are amazing and very well written. The storyline is phenomenal as always. The author has a way with her words that causes the story to come to life right before my eyes, I read the entire book in one sitting, only stopping when necessary. I’m excited to read the next book in the series.
This is book 5 of the Mafia Elite series. I highly recommend reading the other books in the series first as you would be confused if the books were read out of orders and some things would also be spoiled. This book focuses on the relationship between Luc and Summer. I enjoyed summer’s strength and her ability to stand on her own two feet despite life throws many curb balls at her. I also enjoyed Luc’s character arc and seeing him grow from self-made businessman into a mafia heir who has a family and is one of five families who run the Chicago mob scene. I’m excited to see what the author has in store for this storyline in the near future.
Another absolute amazing piece of written work. Every book in this series has given a different view into the lives of the different characters. Each time the author never fails to deliver that connection to the characters leaving you wanting more. It makes putting the book down hard when you are presented with the need to know what will happen next. Absolutely loved this book.

This is book 6 to the mafia elite series and I was not disappointed yet again. Just when you think the author has all the characters written into their own story, she writes more character stories that will leave you breathless and itching for more. Her writing is so dynamic and engaging that I’m not able to sit still and I’m always on the edge of my sitting waiting for more. This is Trey De La Rosa’s story, who lives 2 lives as a doctor and mafia surgeon for the five mafia families. This duality leads very little time for any personal life, not that Trey wants one after what happened. That’s until he is approached by Allen in a frantic state telling him that someone has kidnapped Hailey for a ransom. As more secrets unfold, more threats arise from those within and outside of the mafia.

Elena grew up as a princess to the Chicago Mafia, a member of the Five Families. She was adopted by Nicole Caruso, wife of the head of the Caruso family after her mother was murdered by the Bratva, and another attempt was made as she grew, leading to the death of another one of the Five Families kids. As an adopted kid, she always felt a little…less than the rest of them, despite her strong relationship with her mama and friendships with the other daughters. As the families grew older, she was promised to marry Enzo. After another attempt on her life Elena decided to run and remove the target from her family and friends, leaving behind everything she knew. In an effort to keep them protected, she didn’t even search for information about them online, changed her name, continued to change her appearance and keep her skills sharp.
After she was located by the Bratva, Elena was lucky enough to get a warning and grabbed her go bag to run – just to find her childhood crush, Marco La Rosa at her door. Elena and Marco grew up together, but as they got older he began to distance himself from her and then thought she was dead when she disappeared and covered her tracks. He received word she was alive and came to bring her home himself, and was in time to save her life.
On the way back to Chicago, Elena learned she had a new brother running the family, some of the members of the families had been murdered, and that her new brother Max Caruso is the new head of the family and arranged a marriage for her to Marco. While she spent much of her life with feelings for Marco, she has no clue of his feelings for her or that this is anything other than a marriage of covenience. What she finds out is that he has loved her for a long time, drew away due to her arranged marriage to another of the families, and thought he had lost her once. Marco refuses to let her out of his sight or into danger again without him by her side.
This book has lots of action, and I love how much the women are included in decisions and how tough and capable they are! Elena thought she not only didn’t fit in exactly, but that everyone would hate her for lying to them and running away, but after 5 years away she has found how much she missed everyone and how much they’ve missed her. Being back in Chicago, she is able to spend time with Nicole again, learn about why the Bratva is so determined to find her, learn about the relationships amongst the new heads of the families and find her relationship with Marco. Neither wants a marriage with no love involved and make an effort to be open and honest with one another. After so much time lost, Marco and Elena are a real force to be reckoned with and have lost time to make up for.
As with the rest of the Mafia Elite series, I love the relationship and world building in this book. The passion is obvious, the action is exciting, the mystery is intriguing, there is lots of twists and turns. While these books are all great standalone stories, they’re even better when you read them all.
Every one of these books that I have read has been my favorite. It all depends on which one I’m reading at the moment as to which one is my current favorite. The Five Families all have stunningly gorgeous and deadly members who would lay down their lives for one another. While all of this series is perfectly great as a standalone book, they’re even better if you read them together and better understand the relationships amongst them.
This book focuses on Trey, who up until now has played a pretty minimal but extremely important role as both a young genius ER doctor with residency as well as the doctor to the Five Families. He has been mysterious thanks to the lower profile he played in the previous 5 stories.
Trey has been working with almost no breaks, between his love of his job and his love of his family. Last time he tried to date, a hit on him gone wrong ended up getting his girlfriend killed. He was restless, grieving, and not willing to go through that again – until he met Hailey at a fundraiser. For a while, Hailey made him forget about Theresa and his pain. When a conversation reminded him of her, he fled and left Hailey daydreaming about him and feeling abandoned…again.
When Hailey is kidnapped, her stepfather Allen reaches out to Trey to help find her. As the story unfolds he tracks her down and they hatch a plan together, attempting to deny their attraction to one another. Each of his family members, mafia and otherwise, take notice of Trey and his reactions to Hailey, as well as hers to him. While Trey keeps Hailey under his protection, will they be able to resist each other? Will they be able to walk away once the plan has been completed? Trey proves to be a much more passionate character than we have seen in previous books, and has both a savior and a sinner in him. Hailey has a past that has left her unsure and mostly alone, and she hasn’t stopped dreaming about Trey since the dances they shared at the fundraising event. They prove to be very complimentary of one another and Hailey finds a sense of belonging within the family that she hasn’t had in a very long time.
There are so many layers to each of these characters, their relationships, their fears, their loyalties, their pasts – the world building and relationship building is excellent in all of them. There’s romance, there’s danger, there’s friendships and betrayals. I recommend starting at book 1, but each is as wonderful as the last.

This is the sixth book in the series and is 202 pages in length. This story follows Trey and Hailey. Trey is a surgeon but also works for the mafia. He has liked Hailey from the first moment he laid eyes on her but walked away because it was not the right time. Someone kidnapped Hailey and now he will do anything to get her back. This book screams chemistry!

Slooooooooooow burn at its finest. This is the 6th installment of the Mafia Elite series and though it can be read as a stand alone, is so much more enjoyable when you’ve read the previous 5.
In this installment we have Trey La Rosa, a member of one of the Five Families, juggling his life as an ER doctor and his duties as a member of his family. When he finds himself in the middle of a ransom plot concerning the step daughter of one of the men he works with, he soon finds himself wondering if he can’t also find love.

This was a great 5 star read. Hailey had originally met Trey at a dinner party but something caused him to walk away. We jump ahead and Hailey finds herself in a dangerous predicament. Trey is hired by her step father to find her after she has been taken. Trey finds Hailey and brings her to his home, there is something off about the whole situation and he refuses to let her leave until he figures it out. Having Hailey in his home is making his feelings stir again, there is something about Hailey that is different. The longer they are together the closer they become.
Will Trey be able to help Hailey? Will Trey drop his walls and let Hailey in?
Overall this was a great read. There are several unexpected twists and turns. I loved her best friend but he also got on my list for ghosting her at times. All of the wives were great, I loved how quickly they brought Hailey into their circle. There is so much more to this read. If you’re looking for a great read I highly suggest this series. This book can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading from the beginning so that you can get to know all of the family. 1- click and get started today.

Oh what a story! I don’t know how this author does it – every single story she writes is just amazing, nothing is repeated, no two characters are the same and they are always amazing reads! Trey and Hailey’s story was just fantastic from start to finish – it had everything I’ve come to expect from this talented author and more. I’ve been waiting for Trey’s story for a while and it didn’t disappoint. I loved the chemistry between him and Hailey – after everything he’d been through he definitely deserved his happy ever after. I say this a lot but I definitely feel like this one if one of my favourites from this author so far and definitely my favourite form this series! I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!

McKinley doesn’t disappoint with the fourth installment of this Mafia series. I got to find out about new characters Elena and Marco. This book has a lot of twists in it, and I was unable to put it down. I was glad to see answers from previous books, all while leaving it open to keep the story going. I am really loving this series. It is interesting how each of these characters find true love. These men love these women and will lay their lives on keeping the save and that includes Elena and Marco. This book can stand alone but I would recommend reading the previous books to better understand the other characters. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
No Way Out by Amy McKinley is the first installment of the Mafia series. I really liked how the series started. This was a book that left opens for more stories to come. I hope the continue reads will answer the questions that are left unsaid in this book. I was surprised at how things twist in Max and Lil’s story, it made interesting to see what was going to happen next. I couldn’t put this book down once I got past the slow begin. I am ready to continue reading this series to find out what happens next with this character loaded book.

Collateral Damage is the sixth installment of the Mafia series by Amy McKinley. She just keeps surprising me with the stories for each character. Trey being the Mafia doctor I never really thought about him having someone to love and protect until reading his story. McKinley really pulled these characters together. Hailey may have fallen to fast for the beloved Trey but he’s hard not to love. This book isn’t as action packed as the others but still a great read. I am ready for more and fall in love with all these characters more as she keeps going with this series.

Another great read from Amy McKinley. I like how the story unfolds more with every installment she writes. The story continues but can be read alone, but to know more about the other characters and keep them straight I would read them in order. Blood Oath is the second installment to the Elite Mafia series by Amy McKinley and a good read to continue the story. I am glad that with the second book it focuses on a new set of characters but still has the ones from the first one. McKinley does a great job keeping me interested with this series. This maybe the second book to the series you can be read on its own, which I do like. I am ready to keep reading this series and see what happens next with the new set of characters as well as the characters that I have already read about.

I absolutely love this series by Amy McKinley and (I know I’ve said it before) but this was the best yet! I love the intertwining of all of the characters and their lives and how we never really “lose” any characters once their book is done because they will always show up in another one, one way or another. I love McKinley’s character building and her plot development. She really takes her time building and sculpting her characters, individually and as a couple. The way McKinley moves her plot throughout the novel is just *chef’s kiss*. I don’t feel like the plot is ever stagnant or that McKinley rushes anything. It’s really a perfect pace. Trey has to be my favorite of the Mafia guys. He’s just so sweet and wholesome (not my typical type) and has a really good heart. While he doesn’t play a full-time role in the Five Families, his role as physician/surgeon is just as integral. He also doesn’t flaunt his connections around, but uses them wisely and discretely. He is still grieving the loss of his girlfriend and has push Hailey away previously. But when she’s in trouble and Trey is asked to help, he can’t help feeling drawn to her once again. Hailey is no stranger to tragedy and grief. She lost her sister and her father in a tragic accident. Hailey’s mother has remarried and pushed Hailey to the side leaving Hailey to deal with everything on her own. Hailey has been pining after Trey ever since they first met at a gala and they danced the night away. She’s friends with Sofia, Trey’s sister, but has never had the courage to ask her to set them up. Once Hailey and Trey meet again (cue second chance) the passion and sparks fly. The sexual tension is there; however, it’s pretty PG throughout the book…but hey…we can use our imaginations, right? There are twists and turns you won’t see coming and your heart may break a time or two, but it’s definitely worth it. I cannot wait for the next (and final?) book in this series to come out. While you can read each one as a standalone, I really recommend reading in order to get the most out of it. You really get a sense of the characters and the family dynamics. But either way…JUST READ THEM!!

I have been following this series since the beginning, and while I am dreading that we are running out of mafia men. I know it will be coming to an end soon, and this saddens me! While I have my “favorite” characters there has not been one bad book in this series, I have loved every single one of them. This book follows the story of Trey La Rosa and Hailey Carmichael. I have wanted to read Trey’s story from the beginning, and I was not disappointed. Hailey comes from an affluent family and feels used by most people because of it. She has also had a hard time after losing her father and sister in a car accident years earlier. Trey is an amazing surgeon who tries to maintain the mafia life and gets experience working in surgery so that he is ready if his family ever needs him. You won’t want to miss this book, especially if you have been following this series.

While you can read each one as a standalone, I really recommend reading in order to get the most out of it. You really get a sense of the characters and the family dynamics. But either way…JUST READ THEM!!

Book 6 and still going strong Mafia mayhem continues with book 6 of the Mafia Elite series. I absolutely adore this series. With strong alpha males and equally strong females, this whole series has gripped me from the start. In this book we get Trey’s story. We have met him in book 2 as Sophia’s brother. He has been mentioned a few other times and along with his brother Marco. This family, being mafia, has several people gunning for them. Trey has his hands full but once he meets Hailey, all bets are off. The author brings a brilliant twist to this second chance romance. A must read – but please read from book 1, you won’t regret it.

Fate brought them back together, but can they stay together?
Trey is a surgeon and in the mafia. Naturally, he’s the guy for the job when Hailey gets abducted. As they twist and turn through a botched abduction turned vengeance scheme they must decide how much they’re willing to risk for each other.
Collateral Damage was a great continuation of the La Rosa family series. Less action than others, but great character development. It’s easy to fall in love with Trey. He may be bad bay mafia, but he’s a good guy at the core. Hailey needs something to go right in her life. Now is their time to shine.

First of all – I would just like Amy McKinley to put a new book out every week. I LOVE her books!! I cannot say enough good things about this series and I was so excited to see it continue after Ruthless Heir.
This installment centers on the family surgeon – Trey and he is every bit the juicy character we have seen snippets of in previous stories. More about his past is revealed that explains his protective nature – and you cannot help but love him the more for it. Hailey is a great character herself too. She is smart and methodical with a healthy dose of obstinance.
I love that the book still goes back to the family at its core – as a critical aspect of the Italian Mafia theme. The book is steamy in all the best ways, hard to put down, and really gives an example of how the author creates multi-facets for her characters. I will keep immersing myself in this world as long as she is willing to share it with us!!

I jumped for joy when I saw this next book in the Mafia Elite series and made sure to snatch it up immediately. Amy is one of my fav authors and there are not many books of hers that I have not read. I love her writing and she never lets me down. It is dark and gripping, intense and enthralling, suspenseful and thrilling, steamy and exciting. I really enjoy the unpredictability of not knowing what comes next, of always being on my toes and it is never what I expect.
Still reeling from a loss so deep Trey was not in a good place when they crossed paths. Now she is in danger. He knows he can’t leave her there; he has to help her but in doing so puts him in danger to.
Make sure you start this series from the beginning now: you won’t be disappointed.
