Mouse Trapped was a great 5 star read and book nine in the Satan’s Devils MC.
Be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster, I was exhausted when I was done.

Mouse is a member of the MC who is mixed race, Native american/caucasian. He takes care of the computer needs for the club. He meets Mariana when he is out in the woods and hears her screaming. He saves her from a bear and takes her to safety. There is something about her that intrigues and calls to him.

Mariana came to the US when she was four, she has some pretty high walls up due to secrets she has. When she unexpectedly catches the attention of immigration things take a twist for her. Now she needs help, but who can she turn to? Would Mouse be willing to help her?

There is drama, suspense, action and so much more. All of the secondary characters were great. The chemistry between these two was off the charts, you could feel the heat coming off of the pages. Coming from growing up with handsome native americans, I pictured a few during my read, LOL. Manda Mellett does a great job of pulling you right in. Each book can be read as a stand alone, but I would suggest reading all of them. MC books are my favorite genre and Manda has quickly become one of my favorite authors to go to for a great read. 1-click and get started today.

I really have enjoyed this serious. I liked this book but it was hard for me to read. It hit too close to home. I have a lot of friends who came here because of their parents when they were babies. I find it shameful that they are living in fear of being kicked out of the only place they have called home. Ok I need to focus on the store and not get too emotional. Mouse was so mysterious. He gave off that lone wolf vibe and it worked. It sucked that he fought himself. There is a way for you to have balance with multiple heritage. He just needed to find his balance. I believe that Ma is his balance. She gave him a different family and something worth fighting for. I was so scared for Marissa through this whole story. The fear and uncertainties she lived with. I didn’t like the lawyer she didn’t know anything and was kind of wrong in the way she stated that she would need more money for her legal fees. Overall this story was an emotional rollercoaster for me. I felt so many emotions and hatred was a big one. I am still in shock over how hateful people can be.

Mouse Trapped by Manda Mellett is the ninth book in the Satan’s Devils series. This can be a stand-alone story. This story is about Tse (aka Mouse) and Mariana. I have read several of Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Deviles series and with each one I find myself inside the story just hovering above the action. The details of what is happening with the characters and the story is always fresh story. There is a great amount of talent to write these stories. In this story Ms. Mellett’s character Mouse is part Native American which I found interesting to read. Mariana is in trouble and Mouse is trying to decide if he should help or stand back. Is there more of a bond between Mouse and Mariana that Mouse wants to admit? Will Mariana be able to defend herself? You will have to read this story to get those answers.

I’ve read quite afew of the novels from this series and I’ve not once been left disappointed if anything I’m always left wanting more! The story pulled me in and kept me on my toes throughout with its intense emotional story. It’s most definitely a page turner i was eager to find out what was going to happen next. I love the authors writing style you are able to get lost in the story and able to visualise and feel what’s going on. It toyed with my emotions they were up and down like a yoyo but that is what the novel even more of a brilliant one when your able to really be captivated by the word’s pouring of the pages. I absolutely cannot wait to sink my teeth into another novel from this author!!

Mouse Trapped is the ninth book in the Satan’s Devils series. This is the second book I have read by this author and it was just as wonderful as the first. I love the detail she puts into the characters and story line. It makes the story feel real. Mouse Trapped, even though it is a romance, also deals with some heavy, real-life issues. Reading it, you will feel a wide range of emotions, I know I did. There were a few parts where I even teared up. There were times in the book that I wonder how in the world people can go through this kind of struggle EVERY DAY. It puts your thinking cap on for sure.

I enjoyed Mouse’s character. His cultural background gives him interesting dimension. The author has done a great job of showing the contrast of cultures when you are of mixed heritage, that feeling of not belonging to either world. I particularly loved the way that the more spiritual side of his Native American ancestry is woven in.

Overall, a superb read!

Mouse Trapped is the ninth book in Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC series! It is my first encounter with the writer and it means also that I have not read the first eight books and even though it is totally fine to read this book as a standalone, I felt that I probably missed out on some things not having read the series in the order as I did not the background and stories of people who were playing important roles in Mouse’s MC life.
Mouse Trapped is the story of Tse ‘Mouse’ who is a man living in two worlds – half Native American and half Anglo … he has found a place in the world by finding it in the Satan’s Devils MC as their computer nerd, a guy who puts together puzzles … a guy who feels that he is still missing something … Mouse Trapped is also the story of Mariana ‘Ma’ who is not really an illegal but who needs to walk straight and narrow as she is DACA holder – she came to the US illegally when she was four years old when her mother escaped her father … she is the sole caretaker of her younger brother who is a citizen as he was born in the US … Things happen, things that are not under Mariana’s control and she is left floundering without help until her brother calls Mouse …
I loved the story, I loved how real it was, the writer touched upon issues that are in the limelight right now – DACA holders, ICE, the detention centers, the attitude of many people … I still remember how Mouse thought to himself, wondering how the world would look like if they (Native Americans) were in charge …
I could not put the book down, I cried and I laughed and … I will need to go back and read the first eight books now! I love discovering new writers and finding new series! What a blessing!

Mouse Trapped is the ninth book in Satan’s Devils MC Series by Manda Mellett, and the third book I have read in this series. While it is not my favourite of the three, the book is still very well written. Even though this book is ninth in this series it can certainly be read as a standalone. If you are expecting the usual love story forget that. Mouse by no means is a mouse, but he is one very hot Native American who is also the club’s computer guy. I did enjoy getting to know Mouse he has a multitude of sides that will have you loving this guy. We get to meet Mariana, I felt that both Mouse and Mariana had such strong characters, which made reading their story more enjoyable. Thank you, Manda, for another good read.

Mouse Trapped by Manda Mellett is book 9 in the Satan’s Devil’s Series. This is Mouses story and while you see him come and go from the previous stories there’s never much to him he’s the man behind the curtain for the MC. In Mouse Trapped you get a more in depth look at who mouse is and his part in the series. Marianna is a strong woman and while she has a few break downs she puts on a good front when she needs to. This story is about their weird relationship and the fear of deportation. There are ups and downs as you getting the story and the previous books come together even more while reading this.

Mouse Trapped: Satan’s Devils MC #9 By Manda Mellett. This series just keeps getting better in my opinion. While this is book can definitely be read as a standalone without any confusion, you’ll definitely be wanting more after it. I was excited to get a story on Mouse and what a story the author gave us readers. It’s not your typical girl meets boy romance but non of these stories really are and that’s what makes them not only unique but also beloved. The author write about hard subjects and makes readers feel everything soul deep. I’m always up way into the night because I simply can’t put the book down and this story wasn’t any different. The characters are complex and relatable, with a well written storyline that had me completely drawn in from page one! I’m excited to see where the author takes readers next.

I give Mouse Trapped (Satan’s Devils MC #9) by Manda Mellett, 5 stars.

Mouse is part of the Satan’s Devils MC. The white half of him enjoys the computer work he does for his brothers. However, the Native American side of him needs to feel the freedom of being in the wild on a horse. It is one of these times in the wild when he hears someone screaming in terror. He comes across a woman being confronted by a bear. He helps her, then offers to bring her back to her car. It’s obvious she has never been on a horse or a motorcycle. There is something about her that makes him want to get to know her better. Well besides how sexy she is. But it is very obvious that she is hiding something.

Mariana is technically an illegal immigrant. But she arrived in the States when she was only 4 years old and her brother was born here. She has to keep her head down and not trust anyone, not only for herself, but for her brother’s sake. Then Mouse comes along. When events not under her control happen, she is put in the spotlight of the immigration authorities who want nothing more than to get rid of another illegal. The only person she know is Mouse. Will he help? Can he? What will end up happening?

There is a lot going on in this book. I have not read this series or this author before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It definitely covers some very topical issues right now and you see them from a way you not have necessarily looked at before. But besides that there is the relationship between Mariana and Mouse. This book is part of a series about a motorcycle club. The MC romance genre is not something I read too much of. Therefore, I did not quite understand some of the terms and such associated with these book. But the fact that I was pulled into the book having not started the series from the beginning and that this is not necessarily my genre of choice says just how good this book is. I could not put it down. All of the characters were so interesting and I cannot wait to go back and learn more about them in previous books. The story itself is original and grabbed me right away. I can’t say I relate to issues either one is having, but the the author makes me feel it and I can understand it. Not to mention that she just keeps hitting you with surprise after surprise. Just when you think the action is over – BAM! – something else happens.

This is a book full of action and just what you will do for those you care for. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

You should definitely start at the beginning and read on through! If you love sexy, alpha men then is is definitely a book and series for you!!!
Mouse or Tse, was always the quiet brother in the background. He is computer guru of the MC. Mariana is just living her life, trying to stay under the radar. When something happens and she needs Mouse, he knows that he will do anything and everything in his power to help her, even if it means leaving his MC.
I have loved every single book in the series and I can not wait for more!!!!!!

I always wanted to know more about the elusive Mouse in all the other Satan’s Devils books. He has always played a large roll yet was the one I knew the least about.

This was an awesome addition to this series, a series that Ive become completely invested in, you absolutely never know what might happen in these stories and thats some of my favorite reading.

I have a tendency to lose interest in long series, but this one being #9 feels just as fresh as the first one and that is because of the way this author writes about things that are relevant and makes everything feel so real.

This book went way past the romance and dealt with deeper issues that are part of our real life today, I applaud this author for writing it so perfectly. I love this series and truly can’t wait to someday sit and read them all back to back. I love the characters in all of these books and the family they have formed. This isn’t just another MC club, it’s always felt deeper than that.

Love it and highly recommend, and this could actually be read as a stand alone but I can’t imagine not having all the previous stories in my mind while reading…

Can not wait for more!!

How he saves Mariana from more than just the bear and monsters. How he finds himself and who his real friends are.

Manda Mellett has done it again. This book is fast paced and easy to follow. Her characters are strong and never back down. I have to tell you. Mouse Trapped is the ninth book in Satan’s Devils MC Series by Manda Mellett. This story centres on Mouse, a techie/supreme computer whiz- who has appeared in previous books. He’s always played a quiet, supporting character in the past- who we didn’t get to see too much of. He had intrigued me whenever he’d made an appearance, and I’ve wanted to know his story since the first time I met him. Mouse has Native American Indian heritage (half Navajo Indian) which makes him even more intriguing in my mind. I always felt that there was so much more to him than what we were being shown, and in this book, I discovered just how deep those waters flow…
This book could be read as a standalone, without feeling like you’re missing information, or storyline- but be prepared to develop a Manda Mellett addiction, one book may not be enough!
I loved following along on this story- as I have come to expect from Ms. Mellett, there was a lot more to this story than it first appears. Her stories are always unpredictable, with twists and surprising developments, and this one was no different- taking me on a ride I won’t soon forget! She had me reading with bated breath, devouring every page to discover what would happen next. There was action, drama, suspense, emotion, heat & sizzle, brotherhood, camaraderie, some humour, a great storyline, wonderful characters, and much more….
If you love a really well written, original, and riveting MC story- with complex, interesting and endearing characters- then this is definitely the book for you!
I can’t wait to see what she will do next?!

Thank you, Ms. Mellett!

This book was different than the others I’ve read in this series. It still had all the MC necessities of course, but it dealt alot with heritage and also the awful process for those here from another country and getting to be able to stay legally.
Mariana and Tse,aka Mouse, meet in a terrifying way in the woods, but when he learns more of her life in just one night, he vows to stay away, but fate has other plans.
This was such an intense read for me, not just the action but the harrowing process Mariana went through and all the closed doors in their faces.
I cant wait to see what is next for this series and I desperately need to go and read this series from the beginning to read the ones I’ve missed.

Mouse Trapped: Satan's Devils MC #9Mouse Trapped: Satan’s Devils MC #9 by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

MOUSE TRAPPED is the 9th book in The Satan’s Devil MC Series. I’ve only read a few of the others and was able to settle right into this book, so it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone.

I would like to review this book from a slightly different perspective. Sure it’s a story involving a motorcycle club, a computer geek and a woman who needs help. That stuff is pretty standard in MC books. What’s unique about this book is the WAY it’s told. It is not the cookie cutter “pretty white girl meets hot alpha white male and everyone lives happily ever after”. This is a story that takes a look at the overlooked in “romance” books (gosh I’m using a lot of italics tonight). This story talks about immigration rights and multi-racial stereotypes and discrimination. It shows us how not everything is as we want it to be or we think it to be. It took a non-partisan look at how the US really is – and that’s a scary place to some. This is a book that makes me think about others besides myself. Opens my eyes to topics that I am currently being distracted from by the use of ridiculous tweets. This is still a real problem and it reminded me that I have pay better attention to what else is going on around me.

Having said all of the above, MOUSE TRAPPED is also a story that allowed me escape into a book. It is a well written story that gives us a glimpse at characters we’ve read in other stories in this series and gives us a deeper look at Mouse (it’s about time he got his story told) and what it’s like to not fit in ANYWHERE. The story flows well from beginning to end and I would recommend it. Also the cover model is HOT, so there’s that 😉

Rated 5 stars!!

Mouse,Mouse, Mouse! I have waiting for your book! I can’t believe it’s finally here! Not only that but it’s a story that easily fits you but yet surprises me. The meet-cute between you and Mariana was a perfect beginning. I love that she sees ALL sides of you.

Mouse is a Native American super problem solving geek! He has long black hair that he ties back with a strip of leather. He is half Navajo, half American. He always seemed to struggle with finding a place to fit in. Until he found the Satan’s Devils. Mouse has always been the one “behind the computer”. He is a grade A hacker. I wasn’t even sure he had “skills” like the rest of the club. But WOW! He can suit up with the rest of them!

The characters in here are written so well. I feel their pain, anguish and brotherhood. They joke, tease and protect. I loved the comment that came in church after the statement that Mouse got himself a girl. “MAC or PC?” Haha haha! Good one! Also the Great title! Thanks to Blade for voicing it at church!!

This a a wonderful addition to the Satan’s Devils series. I love how we meet these characters throughout the stories but really don’t know them until we get their story. Blade really came alive in this book. As an enforcer he comes off tough but with his brothers we see a more fun and relaxing side. I can’t wait for more!

The story Mouse Trapped Satan’s Devils MC by Manda Mellett is a book that I loved reading. I have read several in this series and they all have been amazing. The story hooks you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let you go until the end. There are page-turning moments that will have you wondering what is going to happen next and what is going to happen to the characters. I loved reading about the characters of Mouse and Mariana. Mouse is a member of the Satan’s Devils. He joined for a sense of belonging and they are like his family. He is the go-to guy for computers. There is a code in Satan’s Devils that they all live by. That code comes into play when he meets and helps Mariana. Mariana is a woman that has a secret. It is one that keeps her towing the line and staying under the radar. When her life is turned upside down Mouse is there to help her. Since they met she has thought of him. He keeps away at first, then he receives a call. Can Mouse help Mariana when she needs it the most or will outside forces pull them apart? There is a connection between Mouse and Mariana. Will they find happiness together? Read this book to find out. The author does a wonderful job with making you feel all of the emotions that Mariana does. She shows herself to be a strong woman who faces situations that anyone would find stressful and hard to deal with. Mouse and Mariana are characters that I grew to love with each chapter that I read. Their journey is one filled with danger with the end goal of a future together. Will they get it? I also enjoyed the other characters that interact and assist Mouse and Mariana. Many of them have been brought forward from other books and there are familiar names included in the book. This is an amazingly wonderful story that I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommended.

Joker's Fool (Satan's Devils MC #8)Joker’s Fool by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Joker’s Fool is the eighth book in the Satan’s Devils MC series by Manda Mellett. This is a m/m romance and was well written with what I can only assume are true issues when coming out. How I missed the first seven I don’t know but if I had to pick one to be introduced to this Motorcycle Club this was a great one. It can be read as a standalone thankfully but I’m interested in the stories of the others is this club.

Joker had a horrible and tragic childhood and carried the scars into adulthood. Those scars built a strong wall between Joker and everyone else until he gets to know Lady and very slowly he starts to allow Lady in.

I can’t imagine the struggle of not only realizing you are guy but accepting that you’re “different” and that some people may not like or accept you for that one reason.

I truly loved this book and I hope to get caught up on the series at point and look for new books in the future

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Joker’s Fool was a great 5 star M/M read and is book 8 in the Satan’s Devils MC.
We jump from past to present as Joker remembers his childhood memories.

Joker has a secret that he’s keeping from his MC brothers. We get a deeper look into Joker’s childhood and his struggles he went through at home. Kind of breaks your heart, I had a few teary eyed moments.

Lady helps Joker realize that there is nothing wrong with him and that they can be happy with who they are and who they love. Lady had a very different upbringing that was supportive and very opposite of Joker.

Can these two have a HEA? How will their brothers react to the truth?

Manda really pulled me in with her writing. My emotions were all over the place, hate, fear of discovery, pain from past, and so much more. Joker had me right from the first time I met him in the series, and getting to know his story was something I couldn’t wait to read. I’m glad that Lady was there to love and help Joker. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. This can be read as a stand alone, I definitely need to go back and catch up.

Joker's Fool (Satan's Devils MC #8)Joker’s Fool by Manda Mellett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Joker’s Fool is really the seventh book in the series of Satan’s Devils MC by Manda Mellett. This can be a standalone story but once you read this book you will go back and read books 1-6. Mellett has an interesting way to make all of hers interconnect and will even go over something that may have happened in one of the previous books without giving any detail away from the story. This story is definite page turner, once you start you really cannot stop. This book really talks about loyalty and trust. These two concepts are difficult because people break others loyalty and trust at a whim. The story of Joker and his horrific childhood. His story brought me to tears and a show him as a different light. Lady takes Joker and show him that there are people who will stand up for you. Will Joker learn that not everyone is out for you? Will Lady and Joker’s relationship survive?

I needed this book

Joker’s Fool (Satan’s Devils MC #8) by Manda Mellett
5 stars

I am so happy to have finally read Joker and Lady’s story! This is an m/m book but its also so so much more. I was put through every emotion with this story.

Joker had a hard past with his family life and did all he could to “change” who he was on the outside at least. As we learn of his past and also what lands him and Lady at the mother chapters compound, we learn a lot of the past as we work our way to the present we were left with the last book, Rock Bottom.
Lady helps Joker come to an acceptance of himself and work through past trauma so they can have a future.
The emotions with Joker’s past about broke me and im so happy we got to go on this journey with these two. I cannot wait for more from this MC!

This is a suspenseful romance dealing with how we see others.
While it is part of the Satan’s Devils series. It could be a standalone.

Joker is disowned by his family, after many years of conditioning, to be someone he is not. He has served his country and now he just wants to belong. But he has a secret that could cause this MC to disown him as well. He will put his club brothers before himself, because he desires to belong. Joker has vowed to protect this family of brothers. But will they stand behind him if they knew his secret?

Manda Mellett has written one of the most heartbreaking romances I have read in a longtime. No worries it will have a beautiful ending. I love this series!!! Everyone of her books draws you in. I fell in love with this young man and his biker family. The struggle is real people! Joker and Lady’s story is one of my favorites. I can’t say enough about the writer and this series. I so hope more will follow. Thank You Manda Mellett for opening my eyes on such a sensitive matter. More people need to read Jokers Fool!!!

Joker’s Fool: Satan’s Devils MC #8 by Manda Mellett – Review by Liz Vrchota

Joker's Fool (Satan's Devils MC #8)Joker’s Fool by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was not my first Satan’s Devils MC novel from Manda Mellett, but I would have to say this is by far my favorite yet! If you haven’t read all of the previous ones available that is not an issue, this can be read as a standalone. Mellett does a wonderful job of tying in enough of the previous story lines where it is needed that you are not lost. I would recommend going back and reading the others though because they are all good novels and do build up as they go.

Joker’s Fool really brings the emotions to surface. Be prepared to feel just about all of them as you read the journey that Joker and Lady have taken to get to where they are and then as they figure out where they will fall into place in the future. I also want to throw in a quick disclaimer of sorts here. Please don’t pass on this book because it is categorized into the M/M romance category, especially if you have read the other books in the series. This book is so much more than what you would expect to be getting. I have put this on my top five, hit me in all the feels, and tear-inducing reads of 2018.

Joker’s journey is no joke. Pun intended. His past ripped my heart out as I read it. I wanted to reach through the kindle and embrace him, heal all his broken pieces. I was grateful when there were finally those hints of light glimmering though in his future. What his struggle did do for me as a reader though, was make him realistic and connectable. Mellett wrote him and his emotions with a tangibility that I couldn’t get enough of. Lady was an equally connectable character. He is that once in a lifetime kind of love we all search for, exactly what Joker so desperately needed. These two may have been a wonderful thing eventually but the story isn’t in the happily ever after with this novel. It really lies in how they each got there. Both have to face some secrets, obstacles, fears, and so much more to get what they really want. The best things in life are never the easiest ones to obtain.
