A continuation in the series, this book is amazing as always. This story brings in a little girl who can see ghosts like Scott. A ghost from Scott’s past shows up throwing everything for a loop. Scott and Zelda’s relationship is strained, and everybody tries to help in their own way. If you like a book about a little girl who helps her parents through hard times, a couple who fights to stay together, and holds an amazing supernatural element, read this book. It is worth it!
Logan and Angel are both very relatable characters. Logan wants his little sister back, and blames Angel. Logan is the good and loyal big brother. Angel always seems to end up with the short end of the stick. Everybody has felt down on their luck, like the world is against you. If you want to read a book with a great story line, plot twists, and life-changing characters, this is the book for you.
I really enjoyed this book! My go-to genre tends to be fantasy, and this author has this amazing mastery of what makes fantasy novels so compelling. The author weaves these worlds, making it easy to see and understand the way they are interrelated. Reading this story, I was completely engrossed in the descriptions especially because they painted a picture: not always a pretty one, but an intense and compelling one that completely made sense for where on the journey we were, following the characters. The characters were also complex and relatable, facing problems that we may face here in the real world, but adapted to their world. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy!

Talking to dead people’s spirits is one thing, but having to deal with the constant requests and sad stories could be very depressing. This experience could even drive one to go insane or kill one’s self. Scott is just starting to get used to his gift, as much as a person can, when he finds the spirit of a girl he can’t ignore. He calls her Zelda, because she can’t remember anything about herself from when she was alive. He wants to help her find out the truth so she can move on. But can you have feelings for someone who you are helping move on? Will her past bring up too many bad memories? This book is well written and a great start to a series that will be a new experience for everyone to read.
This is a sweet story about second chances. Kayden’s first love, Liam, walked away when she wouldn’t pursue a physical relationship with him, staying true to her faith. When they reconnect years later, the flame is still alive, but can Kayden ever trust Liam again?
The author writes a sweet, clean story reflecting true connection between characters. Even in a shorter story, the author develops the characters and their relationship well. It was a fast, enjoyable read!

I’m not a big Sci-Fi fan, i mostly stick to fantasy, but I really enjoyed reading this book! This has made me want to read some more into the Sci-Fi genre. Reading about the stars and humanity gave me a different outlook on life and my life personally. It was written very well and took you for quite the ride. I was very impressed with this book and how much there was in it, from fantasy, military fiction, alternative history, and Norse mythology. The characters and the world-building were what grabbed me and really made it hard for me to put it down. I really enjoyed how this book brought in some true history, mixed with the fantasy. Bernard and Alva are amazing characters and they went very well together in this story. I really enjoyed this book and it kept me wondering what amazing things were to happen next.

I was so excited after reading the first book to get to read this one. It lives up to the hype!! I absolutely loved the continuing struggles and the fantasy. The protection of the legendary garden of Eden and the tree of life is foremost in this novel. I really dove into the action and could not put this book down. This author has fast become one of my favorites!! Book three cannot come fast enough!!! Side note: you may need tissues for several chapters of this story!!

This book was amazing. The story is a wonderful blend of mystery and intrigue, adventure and romance. So many challenges that become victories and half baked ideas that become fully realized narratives. I really enjoyed all the excitement and enchantment. Lara is the Mayor’s daughter and works at the local bakery in town. She’s upset when she learns that her father is opening up another coffee shop. Not quite what I was expecting, but a good book nonetheless. The book was slow to draw me in, but I was still able to finish it in one day and enjoyed the writers style of writing. I definitely plan to read the other books of the series soon.
The characters of Desmond and Emily are both relatable, making it feel like you understand what they are going through as the book switches back and forth from their perspectives. The chemistry between them is apparent from the first time they meet in the hallway of the hospital they work at together, and by the end of the story you are rooting for them to have a happy ending.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. (Un)Loved is a great book and it was hard to put it down. This is the first book in the Mixed Emotions Series.
Sophie is an actress and has been doing it since she was fourteen. She doesn’t know anything else, but acting. Getting tired of it she wants to take a break, but doesn’t think she can. The quote I chose for Sophie is: “I do. I need time to think about what being here with you means, and we need to just talk, you know. I’m going to be gone in a couple of days. I can’t just do the thing where I let you back in, then it all goes wrong again.”
Guillaume is getting everything he wants in life. He finally asked the girl of his dreams out. Now he’s invited her to his family’s farm. The quote I chose for Guillaume is: “Shee, it’s not that you’re not organized or that you haven’t got your shit together. It’s that you have different priorities than me. You’ve been so focused on being an actor that it’s all you know how to do. Which is great, because you are one amazing actor.”
Two stories in one book. These are prequels to the Logan McKenna series. I enjoyed learning about Logan’s background in both stories. I now plan to read the Logan McKenna series from start to finish.

I am really enjoying this series! I appreciate how the book starts out with an inner struggle for Van and throughout the book there are lessons that lead her to resolving her inner struggles. I know she has to learn these lessons to keep everyone safe, but I like seeing her work through her struggles to achieve the goal. All the characters and the intricacies of their relationships are very well written.
This is a fascinating YA series that I would suggest to any highschooler. It has clean language, deals with teenage insecurities and emotions without over sexualizing situations.

This is another great book in this wonderful series. I keep getting more and more captured and invested in these characters with each book I read. It is my suggestion that you read the previous books first for a better understanding of some of the characters and for a better experience. This book had me hooked from the start. This author does an exceptional job writing with such detail that you feel right along with the characters. Hope and Russ go through so much in this story, I was on the edge of my seat turning the pages needing to know what was going to happen next. There is romance, suspense, emotional moments, twists and turns and so much more in this book. I can’t wait to read what comes next. I highly recommend this book.
Book 4 is another home run! I really enjoyed this latest paranormal romance from Nikki Lynn Barrett. Russ and Hope are a wonderful pair. It was wonderful to see the plot take shape and mysteries figured out. I loved seeing former characters and enjoyed the new ones also. The build-up to Hope and Russ finally meeting was perfect. It is very easy to fall in love with these characters. A perfect addition to the series.

This suspenseful mystery was out of this world. This is a brand new author to me but they definitely captured my attention right from the beginning. I normally don’t like books set in the older times, but when I saw the beautiful cover of this book and read the synopsis I knew that I had to read it and I was definitely not disappointed. This story was filled with twists and turns, drama, suspense, and so much more it’s hard to wrap your head around it. The plot was simply amazing and gets you invested right away, the writing flowed effortlessly, and the character growth was simply amazing. I personally really love second chance romances, so when I saw this beautiful cover and read the synopsis I knew right away that I needed to read this book. The writer has a wonderful writing style and the characters were terrific. However, I did get a little annoyed with how our leading lady acts at certain times in the book. Liam and Kayden used to be high school sweethearts, but what happens when he renters her life fifteen years later? Will Kayden be able to see that he’s a different man then the boy he was fifteen years ago? Or will she let the past define her future? You’ll have to read this wonderful second chance romance to find out for yourself.

The author delivers a unique love story. Readers are treated to a heroine who yearns for a family of her own, yet is willing to wait on God’s timing. The hero is a man who finds his way back to his own faith, as well as faith in the healing power of love. Characters put the well-being of others ahead of their own wants and desires, which is a pleasant alternative to the typical love story. All in all, this is an enchanting tale that sells itself, and does not require explicit details in order to do so. It is rare to find authors who can create quality storylines without resorting to bedroom details.

The anticipation for reading the next book in the series is very high.

This is a fun, lighthearted romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Sophie never planned on falling in love with Gil, but whilst staying with his family and getting some French mountain air, she seems to be changing her mind. Unfortunately for actress and influencer Sophie, Gil has a bad case of commitment phobia. To complicate things further for Sophie, who is having an existential crisis, she also has to fend off a Frenchman and deal with her boyfriends very beautiful ex girlfriend. Oh, and she’s also dealing with a very grumpy llama, and being chased around the farm by angry goats! I found the main characters, Sophie and Gil a little hard to relate to in the beginning of the novel but I grew to love them as the storyline developed. Gil’s loving and liberated family were great and I enjoyed the interactions between them all. The grumpy llama brought humour to the story, as did the angry goats. The French mountain setting came to life through the descriptive narrative and made me feel immersed in the story. Overall, this was an enjoyable and entertaining read.

Turaset is a place of two halves, the countryside where everything is done in connection with nature, is done by hand and is full of traditions and family, the other half are the cities, they are swimming with industry, they have power and although they have traditions and family values as well, it is all centered around the industry there and they think everyone else is below them if they do not hold the same opinions, they are entitled and know it.
Celeste is seventeen years old and lives in a small country village, her life has been mapped out for her and she cannot think of anything worse, she feels stifled and longs for adventure of her own, so when an opportunity presents itself, she latches on with both hands. She finds out that she will be staying in a dormitory where she makes friends with her roommate, as well as some others who are from the city and she loves learning about all of them.

I love this author, her stories are full of emotion and are well written and just flow along with the story. These characters shows the loyalty and friendship can last a life time and that some relationship are just there through thick and thin. The twist and turns in the story have you engrossed from the first word to the last and will not let you down.
The story shows the determination of friendship and the unbelievable strength and that they have kept this secret for so long that it slowly ripping them apart. If you like the thrill of the chase and a well written book then this one is right up your street.

Peaceful Slumber is a very good read. I was not prepared to enjoy Scott and Zelda’s story as much as I did. It’s so lovely yet so tragic. A good mystery/suspense plot with intriguing characters. I have to say if I were Scott I would’ve kept up the plan to not show that I could see the ghosts but he did we would not have had such a lovely story. Off to read the next in the series!

What a sweet romantic story this was from start to finish. The main characters had such a great connection between them and I found myself completely pulled in by their story. The book had a fun and entertaining feel to it. I really found myself enjoying everything about it. What I loved the most about this book is the fact that it is so different to anything I am used to by this author. It was fresh and interesting and I enjoyed every part of it. This is a great all round story I would recommend to anyone.

I thought this were quite an interesting story with a strong character right at it’s core. I was engaged by this story right from the start and I thought the main character played a great part. The overall story intrigued me enough to keep reading and I wanted to know what was going to happen. This is a new author to me and I liked how they developed the story. Everything was done in a way that kept my interest and made me want to read more. I am excited to see what else there is to come from this author.
