Ale’s Fair in Love and War: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romance is the first book in Love on Tap series. I always enjoy books by this author, and I was glad to grab a new book by her. This is a fun enemies-to-lovers romance. Cash owns a local brewery with his brother, and his arch-enemy Hollis owns the dog grooming business next door. The two have developed a mutual dislike of one another. The snark between them and the pranks they pull are great. You can feel the sparks growing between them. When they join forces to save Cash’s business, they are a power to be reckoned with. I enjoyed the characters and the back-and-forth between them. This is an entertaining romantic read with a HEA. I look forward to grabbing the next book in this series. With this author, I’m always guaranteed a good book.

I love rockstar romances! They’re one of my favorites! I instantly knew I was going to love this book and I’m SO glad I read it. Also it’s my first rockstar romance I’ve read where the rockstar is female. I LOVED IT!!!!! Amazing characters and I just all around loved the story. Can be read as a standalone so I’ve only read this book in the series. I’ll definitely be checking out the others! If you want a book with angst, second chances, opposites attract type of romance book, this is for you!

This series is so fun to read! Madame Chalamet can communicate with the dead. She is intelligent, independent and daring. She also helps the Gendarme in solving murders which usually puts her in precarious situations. This story is no different. Although each book in the series is connected, it can be read as a stand-alone. You won’t have too much trouble following the underlying story.
In this book, Madame Chalamet is saddled with an apprentice, Twyla. Twyla is an eager student who unfortunately speaks before thinking. It ends up for some awkward situations. Not having seen the Duke de Archambeau for a few months, he enters Madame’s life with the disappearance of a Baron’s daughter. Nothing is simple in this ghost talker’s life. The disappearance of the young lady is linked to someone in Madame Chalamet’s past. Once again in danger, can Chalamet make it through this as et alive?

I found this novel to be an entertaining page turner, with a gripping storyline, quirky characters and plenty of drama and action. It’s a fast paced crime thriller that had me hooked from page one, and the twists and turns kept me guessing, and turning the pages! Jasmine Bucker only turns to crime in order to provide her father with the cash needed to save him from a rare lung disease. Her plan is to steal the money from her shady boor of a boss, but things don’t go to plan when sirens are heard during the getaway. Jasmine soon discovers that the cops are bogus and have stolen the money from her. Although she’s stranded and broke, she’s determined to get the life saving money back, and so must outwit the more professional crooks, and pull off a high stakes recovery mission. This was an enjoyable and engaging read, with an action packed plot and wonderful characters, whether they were good guys or bad ones. I felt completely immersed in the storyline and felt invested in the outcome along with Jasmine.

This is the second book in the Vengeful Vixens series. It definitely stands alone, as this is my first book I’ve read in this book. This is an amazingly fun romantic comedy with a revenge plot. Nadine is a strong business minded main character whos boyfriend and business partner definitely betrayed both her and the business by falling for some get rich quick schemes. She does what every good female would do go for revenge and find someone who is so good between the sheets. However when she finds Wick she finds so much more than she bargained for – in a good way. This is such a fun good book!
This is the third instalment of the Madame Chalamet Ghost Mysteries. I would recommend reading the first 2 books as they give more information on the background and relationships between the characters.
I found this book to be slightly more serious than the others but is still as entertaining and gripping as the first two. I enjoyed the progression of the underlying story running through each book – things are starting to come together for Elinor’s personal mystery.
There continues to be character development in this instalment which I enjoy, particularly seeing a more vulnerable side to Elinor in the new challenges and dangers she faces on her way to completing her ‘mission’. She remains a strong character as we learn more about her when catching glimpses beneath the armour as her limits are tested. I wasn’t expecting the introduction of the new character, Twyla, to be so significant. She presents as such a contrast to Elinor as she seems to fumble about, trying to get her bearings and making mistakes which require rectifying, that it creates a new and interesting dynamic to the group leading me to question the impact moving forward.
Another aspect I particularly enjoyed, was the continuing build in attraction between Elinor and Tristan Fontaine and the development of their relationship. I love their back and forth and I find myself rooting for the growing relationship – I often smile when reading their interactions.
Once again while this is a fairly short novella, there’s so much packed into it that you don’t miss a thing. While I wish the stories were longer, they are written in a way that that although short doesn’t take away from the great story line or negatively impact the plot. It’s paced well to suit its length and once again I am left anxiously awaiting the next book in the series!
Abby turned 40. And as most females know the older you get the louder that biological clock ticks. And this is where this story really starts. Abby’s clock is ticking so loudly and all she wants is to have a baby. She’s done waiting for Mr. Right. She can do this on her own, can’t she? When her best friend finds out, Nate insists that he help. However he has only one rule. That they do this the old fashioned way. That really wont complicate their friendship, right? It only takes one time. But will once be enough? Or will the each want more? This book was amazing!!! Abby and Nate were amazing characters and I really think that this was a really relatable story. I think that most women have a guy friend that they think would make an amazing father. But what would happen if they make that friend the father of their child? This really looks at this question in depth. I also think it was written so realistically. How they didn’t answer all the questions that they should have and how their decisions are affecting their friendship. I truly loved this story!

This is a cute story that easily kept my interest. There is a lot of action and suspense. I really wanted to know what could possibly happen next. At first I really disliked the main character, Zarina. She annoyed me with her spoiled bratty selfishness. As the story moved along and she started making changes 8 actually became invested in her, her dress and her story.
Overall this is a delightful fantasy story. I would recommend for a younger audience (tween). This is a first time author for me. The story has nice flow and easily engages the reader.

This is the fifth book in the True Platinum series. It definitely functions as a standalone. I have read a few others of the series but not all, they feature some of the same characters but each book has a focus on a different character. Lily is a rockstar and Rhys is an IT guy. And they are about as opposite as they can get. Rhys has been divorced and his wife cheated on him. This makes him completely disinterested in anyone who plays games. This includes Lily. He finally agrees to meet with Lily and things go so well that they agree to go on a second date. What will happen once they admit all their feelings and intentions to one another. Can they look past their first observations and really get to know one another? I definitely recommend this one. It is such a well written opposites attract novel!

Lois Wickstrom has yet again produced a brilliant book that is entertaining for the whole family. I was familiar with the story of Hansel and Gretel but my kids hadn’t yet heard the story. This was a great way to introduce them to a classic tale. As with all books by this author, we have read this one multiple times. It is engaging, fun and is great to read with your kids. I am sure this book will be read many times more while we wait for the next book by this author.

This is an extremely informative book that is written in such an easy-to-use way. It goes through the when, what, why, where, and who of writing a book while also breaking those down into important points (tasks) for each. Clark additionally covers important aspects like publishing options, formatting, and advertising. Keep in mind what works for one author may not work for all, but this is a great basis with amazing knowledge that Clark has acquired over her substantial career as an author. I have always dreamed of writing and thus have read many books on the subject. This by far is one of the best books out there. This book is a wonderful resource that will really help you think things through in order to not just write a good book, but a historically accurate one as well.

This is the fourth book in the True Platinum series. However, it definitely functions as a standalone as this is the first book that I have read of the series and I wasn’t lost at all (might I mention it definitely won’t be my last). This is the story of Ella and the grumpy drummer she has been stuck with for months. Both Jared (the grumpy Drummer) and Ella are looking forward to time away from the tour away at a friends cabin alone, meaning with absolutely no one else around, all alone. What they least expect is that the other will be at the same cabin with them. An awful situation becomes even worse when they get snowed in. The decide on a truce and try to make the best of their time together. Whatever that may mean. I love the enemies to lovers genre and this book is the epitome of it. I feel like both Jared and Ella are well written characters. They played well off of each other and had a good banter. I definitely recommend this!

Spirit Guide, by Byrd Nash, is the third in a six-part ghost paranormal series, which includes Ghost Talker, Delicious Death, Spirit Guide, Gray Lady, Underground Haunt, and Ghastly Mistake.
I highly recommend reading book 1 and 2 before devouring this third installment as you will learn much about our main characters, their relationship thus far, and backstory as they worked their previous cases. Byrd Nash weaves such masterful stories of intrigue and mystery that will have you trying to recognize all the clues so you can figure out the culprits right along with the main characters.
In this installment we find our heroine, Madame Elinor Chalamet, being saddled with an apprentice, Twyla, who is far from knowing everything she should. These two, along with Tristan Fontaine, the Duke de Archambeau, try to help figure out the disappearance of a couple of young women, one of whom is linked to the Morpheus Society. It’s during this investigation that Elinor learns that her nemesis, Parnell Lafayette, has stumbled on new paranormal techniques that are scary and dangerous.
Tristan and Elinor also start to grow closer in this installment, though the snarky banter I’ve come to love from these too is still very present. This is definitely a slow burn romance, which is not my usual style, but I love seeing their slower pace because it allows me to see them grow as people and as a potential couple. I honestly can’t wait to read the next installment as Ms. Nash made me fall in love with these characters through her descriptive writing, amazing mystery plot twists, and humorous banter between characters. You should definitely pick this series up as it just keeps getting better.

This book is part of a series, however it reads as a stand alone. The writing for this book was really good. The author does a good job developing the characters and making them relatable. I wasn’t a huge fan of the plot in this story. I found it to be semi unbelievable and some responses to be on the weird side. But, at the same time, I wanted to finish it and find out how everything was resolved. Jas and Phil are the main characters and find themselves robbed of the money that they stole. They end up chasing the robbers across the country and picking up a couple of accomplices along the way. I really enjoyed the twists and turns at the end. Overall a fun read and I’m looking forward to more of the series!

This the second novel by Susan Specht Oram that I have read, and I was just intrigued as the first. I wish it was a little longer because it comes off to clean. A stand-alone novel has you wanting more. I will be picking up the rest of novels to see what see does next. You never know who is going to show up in this book to see what they are going to do. The author does well bringing these characters to live and I wanted to read more to get the feel for them. I hope this author keeps getting better.

Madame Elinor Chalamet returns in another ghostly mystery to be solved, together with Tristan Fontaine, the Duke de Archambeau in the city of Alenbonné, she is still on the hunt for her fathers murderer, but when she is tasked to find a missing lady and her maid by the Duke, as the missing person is the daughter of a friend, she prepares to investigate. Although, as ever, nothing is smooth sailing for Elinor and as all the interviews have been completed and any new leads turn to naught, things seem to come to a standstill, or at least they appear to, until a visit to an old friend connects two seemingly unconnected facts.
Meanwhile, she is discovering that training an apprentice is just as frustrating as she expected, in some ways, it is even more so, especially when her apprentice acts before they think and their bumbling and clumsy nature causes more extra stress on already stressful case and as if that isn’t enough, another rather drunken and worse for wear friend, turns up and makes Elinor feel guilty and frustrated at the same time. This is as well as confusing feelings towards the prickly Duke and why he has been out of touch, despite the way they spent their last time together and how he just cannot seem to decide how he wants to treat her, but she doesn’t let this stop her from investigating in her own way, however he does insist that she has someone accompanying her when she does.
Things come to a head when it is discovered that her rival has become involved in something more than just ghost talking and that it may lead them to the missing young lady and her maid, but as she dips further into what this rival has been doing, she realises that she is going to have to break his trust and risk herself to find the missing girl, but will her ghost talking abilities lead her into more danger than she is expecting, or can she devise a plan to stop it all from going wrong? What will the Duke do when he discovers that she is missing, how far will he go and what will he do to those who stop him from trying to find her? This is another fast paced mystery where nothing is as it seems and danger lies around every corner, twisting and turning into a tangled web which has to be released so the end is revealed.
This is the 3rd book in the Madame Chalamet Ghost Mysteries series. While these books can be read as a standalone I do recommend reading them in order so you can experience the full character growth and understand how they go to the positions they are in now. We are back with Madame Chalamet and she now has a new apprentice. Things aren’t going great as her apprentice is scatty and not very disciplined even though she has the talent. Things get worse though when Madame Chalamet is approached by Duke de Archambeau to aid his friend in finding his missing daughter. Things take a turn when the daughter maid is found murdered and with rumours of The Morpheus Society being involved in parties using chosen women as vessels to allow spirits to roam free Madame Chalament knows she needs to get to the bottom of this no matter the risk to herself.
What happened to the missing daughter? What happens to the women who are used at these parties? Have The Morpheus Society really sanctioned them? What dangers are lurking for Madame Chalament if she asks to many questions? And will the romance between the Duke and Madame Chalament finally take off?
These Mysteries will keep you on the edge of your seat with characters that are so well written you feel like you know them. The story keeps you guessing right to the end and i can’t wait to see what the author has planned next.
I have read a few books from this author and I was not disappointed. I really enjoy the steamy vibes that flow through the book. The author is able to create down to earth characters that really to draw the reader in and keep your glued to your seat. I really liked the revenge setting of the book and how it sort of backfired and the main character became smitten with the guy. I really couldn’t put the book down and I read it in one sitting as I get totally engrossed in the book. I really cannot wait to read more from this author and this series.
Having read and enjoyed the previous books in this series, I was looking forward to being back alongside Elinor Chalamet investigating another mystery. Ghost Talker Elinor, and love interest Tristan Fontaine, the Duke de Archambeau have to work together when a nobleman’s daughter goes missing. The pair must discover who has kidnapped her and why, but when others go missing they wonder if the missing girls are linked to a mysterious séance, where ghosts become flesh. Elinor is also still looking for her father’s killer in Alenbonné, and wonders if the Society is hiding something from her. When Elinor decides to investigate alone, despite Tristan demanding she doesn’t, she must use all her wits and ghost talking skills. However, when Tristan discovers that she is now also missing, no one can face his wrath! This is an entertaining story, with great character and a gripping storyline all of which kept me gripped throughout. As usual the descriptive narrative and historical details transported me back in time, making me feel immersed in Elinor’s world.

The Thieves (The Millersville series) by Susan Specht Oram. This series is amazing. I loved this first book and loved this one even more. It’s the story of Jasmine whose Dad is has a horrible lung disease and needs money for treatment or he’s going to die. Jasmine has no money so she doesn’t know what to do. Her boss is a pretty shady guy so she decides to steal money from him. He will never notice or so she hopes. When she gets pulled over by fake cops and they take her money she is devastated. Little do they know she is determined to get that money back. This is a fun filled action packed read that you will be reading late in the night to finish.

Chicken Little Investigates is such a cute book! I got this for my 7 year old, but honestly I think it would be great for children younger than her. Chicken Little and Henny Penny are walking along enjoying the weather when something falls on Chicken Little’s head! Ouch! She thinks that the sky is falling so she and Penny investigate. After a few experiments with different items they come up with something, but they don’t know what to call it. They decide to go and ask the King with big feet what he thinks. On the way to the King Chicken Little and Henny Penny run into a few friends. The five of them set off to talk to they king about their discovery, when a fox tricks them saying he knows a short cut. The friends think quick and start dropping things on his head! Splat, Flop, Clatter, Jangle, and plop plop plop goes all the items onto his head! Ouch! Triple ouch! While bumps grow on the foxes’ head the friends all escape! But they still don’t know what to call their discovery! So they meet with the king. The Kind tries out their experiment before deciding what it will be called…. read the book to find out what he decides!!! It really is such a cute book. I think kids would love to try out what the friends did. See what name they think it should be called!! I love everything I have read from this author so far. Her children’s books are cute, but kids also learn while reading them. I would recommend this for kids under age 10.
Saving the Gingerbread House by Lois Wickstrom. I have loved every one of her books. They are so fun and so cute. Its a fun take on Hansel & Gretel. Hansel and Gretel are on a picnic in the woods with their dad and they hear a strange pecking noise. They go to investigate and find a Woodpecker. Gretel wants a picture so when she sketches it neither one of them can remember how to get back. There are also rumors of a witch with a cauldron in the woods and they are talking about it when they begin to smell gingerbread. When they find the beautiful Gingerbread house they admire it and begin to try some of it. While they are tasting the Gingerbread the home owner comes back and is aggravated at them so she puts them to work, This is a cute take on Hansel & Gretel.

She likes control and Eric the creep threatens that and more coming back into her life. Man when the universe throws your past into your present things can get messy! Cece and Evan have worked together for a while now and she’s starting to think her “no dating someone you work with” rule doesn’t have to apply to her bright-eyed coworker. He is a great guy who helps everyone he can and he’s not to bad on the eyes either! Can she make it work with a co-worker? Can she open herself up with Evan? Should she even try? Evan knows something is up with CeCe, but she dodges him every time he asks. Unsure of what’s wrong he doesn’t rush things. He’s wanted to date CeCe for some time now, but after the Christmas Jubilee he’s just biding his time. Can Evan stand a chance with CeCe? Will the age gap (5 years) between the two be an issue? And man oh man, what about his family?? Will they scare her off before he even gets a chance with her? CeCe and Evan’s story is so cute and fun! This can be read as a stand alone, but I would recommend just reading the first one too. There are characters from the first book that I personally like having some back story to, when reading this one. These are sweet small-town romances that will have you falling in love with the characters like you are a part of their lives! I can not wait to read book 3!!

I was all in on the Devil’s Handmaidens after Tink but I wanna learn to ride and move to Montana after Shadow. This book wrecked me. The emotions that were evoked from me by this book were completely unfair. It wasn’t just one emotion, there were mixed emotions in bunches. As Shadow’s history was discussed, I felt anger at the b@sterds that hurt her but compassion for her and those that care about Shadow. I felt Shadow’s pain. The author made it so easy to feel with Shadow as her emotions dripped from the page and soaked your fingers as you read.
Zoey/Shadow has always tried to blend into the background. It was a defense mechanism. If no one could see her, no one could hurt her. Shadow was used to being hurt. She doesn’t remember a time when she wasn’t being hurt. When Zoey was about 12, she was found by Tink, who forced Zoey to be her friend by never giving up on her. Tink has stuck by her ever since. Now someone else is trying to break through Shadow’s carefully crafted walls, well actually two somebodies. Hannah has attached herself to Shadow and isn’t letting go. But the real problem isn’t the annoying little sister, it is him.
Panther has been chasing Zoey for a while now. There is a connection between them he can’t explain. Maybe it is the work, breaking up trafficking rings, that they do together. It could be that she is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Panther got a glimpse of that beauty as he watched her face tattoos being applied. Panther thinks that her tattoos only enhance her natural beauty. Panther has asked Shadow to help him out on a big job. This is a ring that he has been tracking for years. When the time comes, the ring leader only wants to deal with Shadow, putting her in danger.
When Shadow is taken, Panther’s team, the Devil’s Handmaidens, Tink’s father’s MC, and a few friends help track Shadow’s whereabouts in attempts to save her. As they search, they discover secrets about Shadow’s past. Will they be able to save her in time? Will all the secrets still left to be discovered be what finally breaks Shadow? You have to read to find out!!
OMFG!!!!! What an emotional ride. I don’t know how you love a book that tortures your soul, but I do. I am deep with this series. No matter how much it hurts, I will read each and every book. These women are more than survivors. They are heroines just trying to give back, even if they have to crack a few heads to do it. I luv all the characters. I luv the over-protective alphas that get put in their place by the pixie-esque women. The realness of this series, of these women, is almost too much. But since they lived it, we can do them (the real women in the world facing these issues everyday) the honor by reading about it, getting angry about it, and doing something to stop trafficking in all forms!! Give me a kutte and the ink, I am in (minus the whole knowing how to ride thingy)!!!!!
I was not prepared for this book. I was not prepared for the feelings, the drama, the excitement, the laughter, the pure enjoyment of reading this book. If you haven’t, you should definitely read this one.
Brooklyn has worked her way to a directorship at the nonprofit she started working for as an intern in college. She has worked hard to get where she is. Brooklyn is a survivor, the foster care system and an abusive boyfriend that nearly killed her. Both her job and her life become threatened when her ex is released from jail.
One night while out dancing with her friend, Brooklyn met Jaxon and Oliver but she didn’t know who they were. It is not like they exchanged names on the dancefloor. When Jaxon and Oliver show up in her conference room as new donors for the nonprofit Brooklyn works for, the fireworks start. Jaxon and Oliver are part of an elite group known as The Four Knights. The boys grew up together, having each other’s back in the foster care system. When they aged out of the system, they decided to make their brotherhood official, all sharing the same last name. Along with Jaxon and Oliver, there is Aiden and Gideon. This foursome brings some interesting challenges for Brooklyn.
When the threats turn more deadly, Brooklyn starts relying on the Four Knights for more than just friendship. As the feelings become real, Brooklyn is scared and runs. She only gets to hide for a short time before her ex gets brave and penetrates the sense of security Brooklyn had driving her back to the Four Knights. Aiden, Oliver, Gideon, and Jaxon have no problem vowing to protect her now and forever. But will they be able to when a traitor to Brooklyn emerges from the shadows?
This book had me on the edge from the beginning. The chemistry between Brooklyn and the guys is dripping off the page. The tension from not knowing when or where her ex will strike next is tighter than a guitar string. The raw emotion that seeps each character as they discuss their past could cause your eyes to sweat. I was not prepared for this. I was expecting a steamy romp through the NYC clubs, not an emotional driven, highly intense thriller but that is what I found. And I am sticking around for more. Bring it on! Now I am ready. Now I know. I am sure the author will throw some curveballs in the next one just to keep me guessing but I feel ready. If I didn’t say it before, this book was phenomenal.

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I enjoyed what she brings to her romance stories and the heartfelt characters that bring the stories to life. This book is part of the Chase Care series which I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help your enhancement of this author and her characters. This is a well developed story where the characters pull you into their world with ease. They are relatable and have great chemistry. They had me coming back for more and hoping for a happy ending. What happens when pasts collide, secrets that are hard to keep and what fate has in store for Pete and Rowena. They are great characters that made the story for me. I enjoyed how fast paced, engaging this story is. It made it easy and entertaining to read. I enjoyed this book and is one of my favorites. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is a great collection of steamy romance stories. I have enjoyed this author’s books from the first one I picked up. This is a collection of three stories that are all different from each other but they all bring steamy romance. Each book is unique and has relatable characters. They are short stories but they pack a punch with steamy characters. I enjoy how the author uses details to not only pull you into the story but also makes them realistic. Forbidden age gap stories that are easy and entertaining to read. Stories that are guareeded to heat up your night. I loved reading this collection and I highly recommend it.
This is my first time reading this author. I was amazed. All the aspects of this book made it very enjoyable. The author really knows how to draw you in and keep you wanting more. The characters were well developed and entertaining. I highly recommend this book.
This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. One of the things I enjoy most is her writing skills and her attention to details. She pulls you into the story with ease and keeps you there until the end. This book is no different. The characters are steamy, creative and pull you into their world with ease. They are relatable and add a lot to the story. A story about Delaney and Baz. They have great chemistry and a strong attraction. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout. What will happen when the Goddesses come calling on Baz? He has found himself making a choice of love or freedom. You don’t want to miss what happens. This is a fast paced, entertaining, hard to put down story that kept me coming back for more. I really enjoyed this romance story and I highly recommend it.
