I started this series before all the books were out so I was excited to see the 4 book box! This is a series where each book is a different set of characters but all of their stories tie together so you see many of them throughout each of the books. Book one is an enemies to lovers story that follows Rae and Dean. Rae is a travel writer and Dean is a successful businessman. He was left at the altar and she doesn’t really believe in a happily ever after. They fight, then they talk, then they get to know each other. It was a fun story! The second book follows Brandon and Callie. Brandon is Rae’s best friend and the leader of a rock band. Callie has been on his mind since they were kids and when they run into each other in Morocco he wonders if maybe he didn’t miss out on the love that he wants. Book three follows Rowan and Chris. Rowan is in charge of throwing an amazing wedding for her cousin and Chris is a famous hotelier who is hiding out a bit on a small island. She doesn’t want his help but he keeps pushing himself in and keeps trying to help. When some strange things start to happen they decide to work together to get the wedding done and start fake dating, which he hopes will turn into something more real. The last book in this series follows Curtis and Lina. Curtis is in the same band as Brandon and Lina has been a type of bodyguard for the band when they go on tour. Curtis becomes a witness in a murder and the mob is after him. Lina and the security team she works with step in to help and protect him. Curtis and Lena both have been changed as they work through emotions and past baggage throughout the story while running and evading and keeping each other safe. I truly enjoyed every book in this series and just read there is a spinoff from the farm that I can’t wait to come out soon!

I was not sure what to think about this book at first but I ended up really liking it. The Sweet family runs a kid’s theme park and they are worried that a strike is coming so they send in the youngest son, Cy, to go undercover as Marcus. He runs into Jolie dressed in costume and their connection is real. Cy is not taken seriously in his family and wants to do a good job so he can get a cash bonus and go on his trip to Greece. Jolie is a single mom trying to make ends meet while she takes care of her two boys, one who is sick and in the hospital, and also her mom. She has been hurt in the past and isn’t sure she can trust this new guy. Cy learns about the people who are working at the park, he learns about their struggles, and he starts to make friends. He needs to decide if he is going to go through with the undercover job or go against his parents and everything that he knows. This was a great story with some spice and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series!
Fearless Love is the 5th and final book in the Bennetts of Langston Falls series and what a wonderful and bittersweet ending. While I am sad that this series is completed, I am excited to see what this author has in store in future! Feeling like I am part of the wonderful Bennett Family, being part of a beautiful family that is full of love, loss, second chances and new beginnings.
James and Sara’s story is beautiful. Meeting on a chance encounter…..Sara is a single mother, raising her son on her own and a travel nurse. When Sara takes a job in Langston Falls she never expected to be enveloped no only being a nurse but into a family that accepts her. James was not looking for love after getting his heart broken and shattered, but when he meets his dads home nurse, Sara, instant chemistry hits. When secrets are revealed will James and Sara be able to overcome any obstacle that comes their way to find the love they both long for?
I loved this entire series and I highly suggest reading this series in order from the beginning. This is truly one of my favorite series ever.

I’ve read other books by this author, so I didn’t hesitate to pick this one up. I didn’t realize it would become my favorite one so far! If you haven’t read any of the series yet, make sure you go back to get the full picture as this one picks up right where we left off. I’m sad to see this series end but cannot wait to see what this author has in store for us next! The chemistry between Sara and James is evident as it jumps off the pages throughout the entire story. I love the small-town feel along with all of the emotions this great romance provokes! If you’re looking for a happy ever after with a dreamy gentleman and his not so easy history, this one is no doubt your next read!

I didn’t realize this was part of a series, so I read this one first. Despite that I hadn’t read the previous books, I was not lost at all so I think it works well as a standalone. That being said, I am definitely going back to pick up the other books because I enjoyed this one so much. Getting to know Boone and Cricket was such an emotional adventure. There is plenty of drama, emotional investment, adventure, and romance throughout. I breezed through this book in a day because I couldn’t put it down. The flow is wonderful, the characters are very well-developed, and the plot is marvelous! If you love a good shifter romance, this one is for you!

K.G. Fletcher has written another wonderful book. Fearless Love being my second book by this author I can confidently say that I adore her stories. This is book number five in The Bennetts of Langston Falls and my first foray into this series but I’m going to be back tracking and reading the rest of this series. All of the novels in this series can be read as stand alone stories but I’m still interested into what has happened to the other Bennet Siblings. Fearless Love follows James and Sarah, who is a single mom to Noah. Now I’ve never really read this type of romance as I usually go for the darker, harder romances, or rom-coms, but this was a feel good, small town, second chance at romance story and I was here for it. So well written and a wonderful read.

I’ve been a fan of KG Fletcher’s writing in the past but hadn’t read any of the Bennetts from Langston Falls series until I picked up Fearless Love. I really enjoyed this book a lot, even without reading previous books in this stand alone series. I was really drawn to the storyline knowing that Sara was a nurse (so am I) and how can you not root for a single mom to find happiness? I loved how the story was told by both James and Sara’s perspectives and enjoyed the dialogue throughout. I was really hooked after Noah and James met and Sara pulled the protective momma card at first. The story flowed really well and the “supporting” characters were just as lovable as the main, even if it was my first time “meeting” them. I will definitely go back and read this series from book one!

I loved this series! The Complete Echo Series gives the reader the right amount of romance, drama, and love to keep you wanting more. Some characters are grumpy, some are boisterous, but everyone is connected in an interesting way. I was sad when the series was over. There’s so many characters that the author could’ve kept going and didn’t have to end it. Each book could’ve been read as a standalone but I’m the one that wants to read it in chronological order. Yet it’s one of those series you can shelve and come back and read it all over again. I love finding series like that. And this one I’m glad I started at the beginning. Trust me when I say if you enjoy this kind of book you won’t be disappointed. If you’ve read only one of them, here’s your chance to own them all! Happy reading!

The Mating Chance is part of Brooke May’s Long Claw Pride series. This is technically book three and there is a little callback to the first two stories since they are all part of the same family, but this can easily be read as a stand-alone. Boone has spent the last few years watching others in his family get their mailing call, when his finally comes he is excited to start his life with his mate. What he doesn’t anticipate is the potential that they may reject each other due to the nature of Crickets life. Cricket has already had a call, and began her forever with him, so a second one in their species is unheard of. When Boone comes crashing into their lives, she is taken aback and confused. Let me tell you, you root for this couple from the very beginning. She deserves her second chance love story and Boone just wants love with his mate. I’ve enjoyed Brookes take on the shifters because she didn’t do the typical wolf shifters. This series is fun and I am looking forward to the next cousin getting their mate!

What a well written, relatable, fun to read, second chance at romance novel. This is a first in a series called The Better Man Series. Bailey is a Widow and Fox is divorced and they are both single parents. The character growth was strong with this one and the characters became much stronger by the end of the novel after everything they had to overcome. Such an adorable love story.

4 Stars Family Ties Family Lies by Jacqueline Boulden
Family Ties Family Lies is Women’s Fiction that is packed with drama, family drama, family secrets, suspense, mystery and so much more. I wasn’t real sure what to expect going in as this is my first book by this author but wow what a heartfelt suspense that had me turning the pages till the end . I found myself lost in the pages as I devoured this book. I had tears in my eyes throughout most of this story and couldn’t help but feel for Rose. When she gets word her moms health is failing she finds herself going back to her hometown where she grew up. While in the attic she uncovers information that was once hidden. She now finds herself uncovering more than she thought she would. What will happen when the past is uncovered? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m definitely interested in what other books she has written and look forward to reading more from this Author.

This is a cute little story. I really think that a lot of kids would enjoy this story. Dylan, his sister Emily, and their dog Theodore make a good team as they work together to solve the mystery. The story is full of inspiration as it tells the story of not only working together to solve a mystery but also not giving up when you run into a problem or roadblock. I highly recommend this series for your kids that like to read.

I love this series about the Bennett family and just like the previous books in this series I was hooked from page one. I found that I was reading late into the night as I couldn’t stop turning the pages! As usual the small town setting of Langston Falls was brought vividly to life through the descriptive narrative, making me feel immersed in the story. This was the sensible brother, James Bennett’s story with a second chance at romance theme. James is still getting over a bitter break-up and is convinced that he doesn’t have time for relationships. That is until he becomes friends with single Mum and travel nurse Sara Larson who has been hired to be James father’s caregiver. Her and her eight year old son Noah are living at the local economy motel however, when James discovers this he invites then to stay with him and his two dogs at Bennett Farms. Sara and James can’t deny their mutual attraction and the connection they feel to one another once they start living together. James tries to convince Sara to stay and build a permanent life with him, but Sara has secrets including the fact that she’s actually on the run. James and Sara are both likeable and relatable characters who I felt instantly engaged with. Their chemistry sizzled off the page and led to some steamy scenes in this roommates turned lovers romance. The storyline kept me happily turning the pages and I love the fact that the story has a guaranteed HEA.

It has been a while since I have read a book by this author and as soon as I started reading this I remember what I liked about her work so much. She has a really distinctive writing style. Each book sets its own pace and really engages you, as the reader. The story was well thought out and fit the characters perfectly. This author has really found her footing with this genre. She really knows how to portray the emotions and thoughts of this age of character. Even though I don’t fall into the intended reader for this story, or really any of her books, I still always enjoy them. This was a great book that I would suggest you read.

This book is a well written and intriguing mystery story. From the moment you start reading it is action packed and fast paced. I was easily hooked on the story and wanted to know what was going on. Even through everything going on with the book I thought the chemistry between the characters really shone through. Their connection was obvious and added the overall tension of the story. They pulled me in and made me want to go on this adventure with them. As the first book that I have read by this author I can say I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am looking forward to the next.
3.5 stars Looks can be deceiving. What looks like an ideal world is not what it seems. We catch up with old friends and characters from the previous books. Make sure to read the books in this series in order. The story flows well and is well written. Stars in the City by Krysten Lindsay Hager is a romance tale for YA/NA readers. It is a short story that is full of the usual insecurities, drama and angst, anxiety, jealousy and misunderstandings just to name a few. Valeria is an actress but hates the notoriety that comes with it. She hates the spotlight and prefers to stay in the background. Try dating someone who is famous whilst having to deal with the fame is not what she could have ever imagined. Falling for your first love all over again who is famous in his own right, and it could be a recipe for disaster. Krysten is known to be good at writing this genre for the YA/NA readers so get on board and start reading her books today.

4.5 stars This extraordinary series is now in one box set for your reading pleasure. No need to see what book comes next or where to get it from because it is all four books together to read one after the other.
Echoing Hearts is a Contemporary Romance tale and the first book in The Echo series, and it was a lovely story. Our two MCs are both strong willed and always have to be right. Both with issues from the past this was not an easy journey, but it was fun watching them come together. There is angst, drama, a lot of passion and steamy scenes, and let’s not forget the humour. I really enjoyed the push pull and tension between the two as they are both as stubborn and strong-willed as each other. This heartfelt tale will pull on the ol’ heart strings along the way. There are a couple of twisty turns and a blast from the past as the road to love is not always paved with gold. I really like the secondary characters and can’t wait to see if they get their own stories.
His Forever Muse is a romantic suspense friends to lover’s second chance story. It is the second book in The Echo series. I enjoyed the first book Echoing Hearts, so I was looking forward to seeing the secondary characters from the first book get their own story and what this book brought to the series. I fell in love with this book even more. Although this story has some domestic violence themes, which may cause some triggers the author did a good job of not writing it graphically. This heartfelt tale will make your heartache along the way as we watch our female lead find herself in a safe and loving environment that helps her to find herself and her strength once again. There is pain and suffering, angst and fear, tension and suspense and a couple of twists and an unpleasant ex from the past.
Unexpected Entanglement is the third book in The Echo series. I really enjoyed the first two books in the series and this one is no different. I like that CR has intertwined the characters throughout the books. This is probably my favourite of the three so far. This heartfelt and fun love story will have you falling in love with the characters, Rowan and Chris. I also enjoyed their back-and-forth banter. The supporting characters were great too. There is tension and angst, chemistry and steamy scenes, unbridled passion and humour, danger and suspense, pain and emotions. This is a great read, and I was hooked from the word go. This is a captivating tale, and I liked the fake relationship trope and all that comes with trying to keep things straight. What is supposed to be a simple wedding turns out it is anything but……. Are lives in danger? You will have to read to find out.
Dangerous Rhythm is the fourth explosive book in the romantic suspense The Echo Series. It is action packed and so engrossing that the story was over before I wanted it to be. The story is refreshing as the protector roles were reversed. The book is well-written with characters that are well developed, with faults, strengths and weaknesses that make them believable. CR also intertwines the characters throughout the books, so we get to check in with them. Her job is to protect the one man that gets under her skin. But can she do her job, keep him safe and not give in to his charms. He life looks picture perfect, but he unwittingly finds himself thrust into a dangerous world where murder is the norm of a day. This is a captivating tale has suspense, tension and angst, chemistry and steamy scenes, unbridled passion, danger, pain and emotions. If you are a fan of romantic suspense, you will enjoy this book. I look forward to reading more of CR’s work.

Sugar & Spice is the first book in the Spicetopia series. I really enjoyed this book, being a little different than her other books made me want to see what it was all about. Let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised; I shouldn’t have been because I enjoy her other books. Spicetopia is a place for adults to vacation and have fun in an “adult” setting. It is original, it is fun, it is sexy, it is steamy, and you will need more than a long drink to cool down.
Cy is on orders to infiltrate the enemy, the works at his parent’s theme park but as time goes on, he realises just who is the enemy. However, when he meets the queen of Spicetopia, he can’t get her out of his mind. Will he join the fight and get the girl?
Jolie is a hard-working woman who works two jobs just to scrape by. When a certain young man comes to work, she can’t get him out of her head, but it can never be that is until he wears her down, but will he really still want her when he learns her secrets? It is set in an adult theme park where anything goes. If you like something oh so sexy, spicy and erotic, steaming and exciting then this is a book you should grab and dive right in.
What a fantastic book by a truly wonderfully talented author. I really enjoyed following Rae and Dean as these two remarkably strong willed and determined characters fell for each other while fighting against past hurts that they believed not only formed them but also protected them. This book is a really great read with wonderful characters, both main and side characters are well developed, vivid writing that enables you to completely envision the world they live in and a creative storyline to keep you reading page after page! It’s a fantastic start to what I am sure will be a fabulous series! Bring on the next book I say!!
The story of Callie and Brandon had me hooked right from the start and I simply couldn’t put it down until the end. This truly talented author created amazing characters full of heart and weaved a captivating, relatable storyline that the reader can fully visualise while reading. Important issues were addressed with such great care. I totally fell for Brandon in the first book of this series and this book just cemented that even further.
This very talented author creates such amazing characters and storylines filled with so much heart! I was instantly in love and was completely invested in the story of Rowan and Chris right from the start. Having met Chris a little in the previous books in this wonderful series I knew his story was going to be a great read and it definitely was that and so much more! Now if you haven’t read the previous books you will still follow the storyline and enjoy it wholeheartedly but I HIGHLY recommend reading the entire series simply because the people and places created in these pages will burrow into your heart to stay and you don’t want to miss out on that.
Book 4 brings us the story of Lina and Curtis and I just know you will be hooked from start to finish just like I was. We also get to touch base with characters from previous books which I really think adds depth to a series. There is always something happening with steamy moments thrown in so if Romantic suspense is your favourite read then this book is for you.
I truly Love the Echo Series and found myself getting more and more hooked with every book I read. This talented author always brings to life her characters in such compelling and relatable ways that you just won’t be able to put the books down!

Clarice is finding society life very underwhelming and struggles to dodge the wranglings of her mother, of marrying a gentleman and increasing their standing in society. Their relationship has its ups and downs, but their chemistry is undeniable.<br />The author describes the scenes so vividly that it is easy to really imagine you are part of the story. <br />I did not realise that this novel is in a series, it really stands strongly on its own, but I am going to backtrack to get a fuller all round vision of the family and past happenings.<br /><br /> <br/><br/> <a href=”https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/34425105-tracy”>View all my reviews</a>

The Mating Chance (Long Claw Pride Series Book 3 and LumberCats Series Book 2) by Brooke May. I love this author so I knew I would love this series. This book was no exception. Its the story of Boone and Cricket. Cricket has been married and thought it was forever but she lost her mate so now she is content raising her children. Once you have found your mate that is supposed to be it but when Cricket meets Boone he is determined she is his fated mate and will do anything to make her see. Is it possible for Cricket to have 2 fated mates or was she not really with her mate to begin with. She is so confused and doesn’t know what to do. She tries to reject him but he’s not going to let her get by that easy. Boone also has his cousin after him, always needing her “jeep fixed” and he’s trying his best to avoid her. Will he be able to make Cricket believe that she is really his fated mate? Read this second chance, shifter, romance to find out!

This historical romance is part of a series but can be read as a standalone, but once you read this you’ll find yourself wanting to read the other books in the series so that you can learn more about these wonderful characters. In The Earl’s Match we follow Payden Thompson and his struggle to find purpose and meaning in his life after returning from Scotland where he was on a deadly and dangerous mission to save his family. Payden has returned broken and haunted by the things he’s seen and done. He’s built up a wall to help keep him and everyone around him alive. But how will he move forward now that his family is safe? As Payden is navigating this new life he meets Clarice, a headstrong, beautiful lady who will not settle for the average men that are constantly being paraded around in their sophisticated social circle. Clarice does not initially like Payden due to his hard exterior and lack of manners and decorum, but there is something there, more than his good looks, that keeps him on her mind. This book will keep you entertained and wanting to get to the bottom of the dark past that Payden is hiding. Through his flashbacks we get to see what makes him tick and maybe Clarice will help chip that hard exterior away.

The Earl’s Match is the 5th and final book in The Thompsons of Locust Street books, although it can stand alone very well. I haven’t read anything by this author before, so this was the first one in the series I read (was not aware it was a series when I picked it up) and the author gave enough backstory to fully understand the relationships without bogging down the story line.
This story shifts POV, although it is primarily from Payden’s perspective majority of the time. Also has a lot of flashbacks from present day to events within the past 5 years that play heavily into current situations. The chance meeting of Clarice and Payden initially sparks anger rather than romance and the chaos that follows is both interesting and suspenseful. Very well written- I enjoyed it and would read more by the author.

The Glow in Loretta’s Garden is another hit by Lois Wickstrom. As always, my girls love the stories and being able to learn something new. They’re fascinated by fireflies so I knew this one would be a hit. I love reading her books to them and I love that we are all learning new things while we enjoy the read!
Loretta and her stories always make bugs seem less disgusting. They show a whole new side to them. You see their usefulness within nature and their purpose in the world. You and your child read an entertaining story, and learn along the way. There is always some useful information after the story as well. You can learn more about what you read. My 7yo son and I always love Lois Wickstrom books.
Detective Dylan and the Hunt for Home Plate (A Youth Sleuths Chapter Book) by MJ Murray. This is a great Children’s book for kids around 5-10. It has chapters and is best for kids learning to read. Its the story of Dylan who is heading to his baseball practice but when he gets there all the bases have been stolen. Dylan has to put on his Detective hat and get his Detective kit and along with his sister and friends they begin to search for the missing bases. The mystery is full of excitement and fun and kids will enjoy this book. This would make a great gift for families or for teachers and their classroom. I love this author so I was not surprised that this book was so good!

This is the 6th book in the Chase Care Series. These books are medical romance/thrillers. They are full of romance, chemistry but also added drama, danger, and risk to life that will leave you on the edge of your seat with your heart pounding. I would definitely recommend reading these books in order as they are so good and I personally plan on going back and reading reading them. In this story we are with Tim and Willow. Tim is a Facility Director and Willow is a travelling Nurse. Willow is running from past bad relationships so isn’t too what to jump into dating Tim but as time progresses they can’t deny their attraction and when Tim goes through a personal battle it really brings home to them just how much they mean to each other. Could this be their second chance at romance? Add to this a mystery that they need to solve when medication has been tampered with and they need to find out who has done it and why. But as you can imagine trying to uncover something as dark and dangerous as that also leads them into a position where they are putting their lives on the line searching for the truth.
These books can be read as a standalone. I have loved everyone and I couldn’t put this down. I was really captivated by Willow’s and Tim’s story and with the added danger of uncovering the mystery around the medication it really kept me gripped all the way through. I don’t want to give to much more away as you have to read this authors work to truly appreciate it.

Echoing Hearts 4 Stars Rae Allen doesn’t believe in love or happily ever after. She’s seen enough in her family to jade her for life. Thankfully, she has some pretty awesome friends, especially her best friend Brandon, who are there for her when things get rough. Her friendship with Brandon is more of a kindred kind…they are thicker than thieves, almost as if they were brother and sister. Brandon would do anything for Rae, especially after she helped him and his band land an amazing producer!
Dean Rowland is living a life of luxury. He’s surrounded by wealth, fame, and women. He’s living the life as one might say, proud of all his accomplishments. Except for the one thing he couldn’t conquer…getting married. After being jilted at the alter, Dean is happy to swear off women forever.
Rae gets a call for a favor. Her friend needs her to go and check out this house in Georgia for the next issue of the magazine that she publishes. This house is a bit mysterious and Rae doesn’t get a lot of background on it. When she arrives at the house, she can’t seem to get anyone to come to the door, even though they should be expecting her. The next scene will be on that will change her life forever and have her heart sending echoes out across Lake Lanier.
This was a very enjoyable read for a lazy Saturday afternoon! I read this book in one sitting. It’s a typical romance read and one where both main characters should be hog tied for their antics towards each other. This does have a happy ending and I even found myself tearing up in the end!
His Forever Muse-4 stars I’ve been anxiously waiting to get my hands on this book after reading the first book in this series! This book, while the second in a series, can be easily read as a stand alone.
Brandon Rossi is the front man for a rock band, Canis Major and his best friends are his band mates. He’s restless as the band has just come off a huge international tour and his artwork is slowing down a bit. He’s ready to get out and find what it is that he’s missing. Rae, one of his dearest friends, encourages him to travel and continue doing some artwork while he’s seeing sights. Brandon decides to go to Morocco to visit his friend Chris, and while there, he meets up with an art gallerist.
Calliope Chen-Bisset is that art gallerist and once she lays eyes on Brandon, a lot of great childhood memories come flooding back to both her and Brandon. Callie is the sister of one of Brandon’s bandmates and while they never hooked up while growing up, there has always been some sort of attraction there. Brandon helped Callie get through some difficult points in her life but not the most difficult ones.
Sparks start to fly between Callie and Brandon as soon as they lay eyes on each other but it’s been 15 years since they last saw each other. Callie’s family hasn’t mentioned her in years and, truth be told, there has been a bit of a rift between them too. Callie has experienced things that no woman…no person ever should experience but now that Philippe is a part of her life, she will always be looking over her shoulder. He’s the crazy ex-lover who just won’t let go.
Can Brandon keep his reputation in tact while learning to love Callie and her scars?
I loved this book and already can’t wait for the next one! There are some difficult topics covered and the author does issue a warning at the beginning of this book. I was not personally triggered by any of the scenes as they were handled quite delicately with enough information to let the reader know what happened without being overly graphic. This is a second chance romance of sort, but more importantly, a phoenix rising from the ashes story.
Unexpected Entanglement- 4 stars Rowan Kelly has inherited an inn and she’s super excited to host her cousin’s wedding there. Everything has to be perfect and beautiful for the big day. Rowan can handle just about anything that is put in her way but having an extra hand or two never hurts!
Insert Chris Sullens. Chris is a well-known hotelier who is more than happy to dig in and help Rowan make this wedding the best ever. What he didn’t expect is the role that he’d be asked to play in order this wedding to go off WITH a hitch!
This is probably my favorite book of this series so far! There is an overlap of some characters from previous books (it was good to catch up on them!) but this book can be read as a standalone easily. I look forward to seeing where this series continues to go!
Dangerous Rhythm-4 stars I am a total fan of this series!! I love the writing style, the humor (and this one…well, just read it!), the suspense, the drama….it’s all in here! I think this is my favorite book of the series so far but they are all really good! The tension that Lina displays, although she’s trying to be professional, just lets you know that she’s a ticking time bomb of emotions. Curtis is a rockstar that just can’t hide his vibe. The Stilletto’s? They’re as ruthless as they sound.
