I definitely enjoyed reading this book. There was so much drama in the book but it was soooo good. Ethan and Olivia had chemistry right from the beginning. Too bad Ethan didn’t check all Olivia’s boxes for what she looks like in a guy but technically he did. Hence where the lies come in. Guys should know by now, no sense in hiding the truth. It always comes out before you let us in on it. Olivia and Ethan met in a coffee shop one day when Ethan came to
Olivia’s rescue when she wasn’t seeing eye to eye with a guy she was set up with on a blind date. Ethan and Olivia kept meeting eachother every day at the same coffee shop and became friends until they decided, enough with the blind dates, he will be her plus one for a family destination wedding.
Ethan and Olivia actually end up falling for eachother until she realizes everything has been a huge lie. Will they ever have the chance to fall in love or will those lies be to strong to overcome?

Lies - Truth - LoveLies – Truth – Love by Marina Hanna
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book has everything that a reader would want in a romance novel. It makes you ask yourself the question of whether you could continue to love someone after you find out they have lied. Do you want to take that chance on whether they will lie again or even if you are getting the full truth, that is the dilemma that the main female character is facing. The way the story is written, you will feel everything that she is feeling. The words just jump off the pages and turn into emotions that you aren’t prepared for in a book. This is what I loved about the book. I was absolutely able to loose myself in it and kept turning pages because by the 2nd chapter, I was fully invested in what was going to happen. I felt like Olivia was my bestie and we were going to find out what was going on. You also feel yourself rooting for them. Normally when a character lies, I find it hard to forgive them. I struggled with it in this book and you will see why when you read it. I am really trying to not give anything away. Just please, please read this book, you won’t be mad that you did and you want be able to put it down.

Unlucky in love Olivia needs a date for a family wedding. Her and her best friend, Lucy, concoct a plan. Olivia gives Lucy a list of traits that her date must have and Lucy sets Olivia up on a series of blind dates to find the right guy to take to the wedding. While on one of the blind dates, Olivia meets Ethan. Ethan is not her date but a frequent visitor to the tea shop where the blind dates happen.

Ethan saves Olivia from a particularly bad date. After that, Ethan and Olivia start talking and become friends. Friends lead to lovers. A series of misunderstandings, stubborn refusals, and prideful dismissals lead to a break up. After a couple of grand gestures that flop, things are looking brighter until someone steps into traffic. Will Ethan and Olivia ever find their way back to each other?

This darling tale of wires crossing is a delightful read. Lots of humor and wonderful characters to go around. Take the time to enjoy this one!

This was a wonderful read. This story had everything I could want in a good romance book. There is drama, chemistry, love, a little danger, and some great characters. The author pulled me into this story and kept me hooked throughout. I became completely invested in the characters and the outcome of their relationship. There are some emotional and intense moments in this book. This story was well written and the characters were well developed. This was a quick read for me because I couldn’t put it down needing to know how it ended. I look forward to reading more books by this author. I highly recommend this book.

Lies – Truth – Love is the first book in the ‘Which Comes First’ series by Marina Hanna. This is a wonderful contemporary romance with secrets, lies, miscommunications, misunderstandings, angst, drama, emotion, humour, push-pull, danger, tension, chemistry, and finding love unexpectedly.
I love the way Ms. Hanna weaves her stories, she always manages to completely captivated me right from the very first page. Her characters are so well developed with their own unique personalities, quirks, and flaws. That’s not to say that I didn’t frustrate me to death at times, because they did- there were moments where I so wanted to shake them and tell them to get their act together- but thankfully they finally did. This is a fun romance about finding love unexpectedly- with enough drama and angst to fuel the tension and add extra interest.
I loved Ethan and Olivia, even when they frustrated me. They are both carrying baggage from their previous relationships which make them wary about love. But that gives them a vulnerability which makes them relatable, and in turn made them easy to connect with and invest in. So, what happens when Ethan omits something important when telling Olivia about himself? What happens when secrets are revealed, and the truth comes out? Is forgiveness in the cards? Will these two take a chance on love? This story is well worth the read to find out.
I am really looking forward to seeing what Ms. Hanna does next.
Happy Reding…

Thank you, Marina Hanna!

Which Comes First? LIES – TRUTH – LOVE.
I have not read one book by Marina that I have not loved. Her writing is spot on, and she has a wicked sense of humour that comes through so loud and clear. LIES – TRUTH – LOVE is a standalone contemporary romance with everything that makes this story a wonderful read.
This is Ethan and Olivia’s story and their path to love is as rocky as it comes when there is miscommunication and misunderstandings.
Lies – are not so easily forgiven but the heart wants what the heart wants.
It’s so easy for the characters to capture your heart and feel invested in them.
It is a brilliantly written quick read, but it has everything to keep you thoroughly engaged. I absolutely loved every minute of it.
The are some very sexy scenes where the chemistry sizzled and jumped right off the page. With lots of passion, a boatload of desire, a dash or two of sass, a few intense moments, a drop or two of angst and a little drama and some super smoking hot times makes for some fabulous reading. underlying danger
Hearts maybe broken, a few intense moments, lots of passion, angst and a little drama and you can’t put this book down. This story has some danger, drama, suspense, intrigue, and romance plus there is a few emotional scenes that will make your heart ache.
I have said it before, but I will say it again – You know when you find an author and her words just click and you can’t get enough. Well, that is what happens when I read Marina’s work.

Trust me and do yourself a favour and start reading Marina’s books today.

This is once again another good book by this author that I have read. I really like how the author is able to balance romance and drama. I was not able to put this book down and could not wait to see how it would all end. The chemistry between the characters was sizzling and the author brought them to life. I really like how there is drama surrounding the love story as in real life as well there is not really always a straight forward means to the end. Also the author is able to show that sometimes the least expected can lead to forever. Also that there is always a road to forgiveness and sometimes we must take a leap of faith. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

This book is a great story with characters that really bring it to life. I instantly connected with them from the moment I started reading and they pulled me in to the story. I thought the author developed them both really well. You get to know them, their history and see how it influences their present. They are the sort of characters that you really get behind and will them to find their happy ending.
The story is really well written. There was a lot going on and it definitely kept my interest the whole way through. This is the sort of book that you don’t realise just how much of it you have read because it is so easy to get caught up in. This was a great book to read and I would recommend anyone give it a try.

What an intense and entertaining read. This was full of everything I like in a book. There was a bit of danger, romance, thrills and adventure. The chemistry between the characters was quite exciting. I could feel a little spark there. I enjoy stories like this because it’s the bad factor that can make the story so very good. The writing had me totally all in right from the beginning. I just divied in head first and couldn’t put it down.

Lies - Truth - LoveLies – Truth – Love by Marina Hanna
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this romance story. The author did a great job with the characters making them relatable and engaging. The chemistry and attraction between Olivia and Ethan is pretty instant but both have had problems with relationships in the past so it is easy to understand why they aren’t wanting to jump into things too fast.
Olivia’s last relationship ended badly. After supporting her partner financially all through his time working towards his chosen career she is devasted when he leaves her. Now she has a wedding to attend and needs a date but there is one thing he needs to have and that is a job. She is not prepared to find herself in the same position as she didn’t before.
Ethan’s past relationship was similar except his partner was just using him for his money. Now he is wary of women wanting him just for his money so when he meets Olivia despite how attracted and intrigued by her he is, he decides to not tell her the full truth. But telling her that he is in between things she assumes he is jobless.
As their connection grows and as much as they try they can’t deny their feelings for each other but what will happen when the lies Ethan had told comes out. Will Olivia be happy that the man she wants to be with is financially secure so doesn’t need to rely on her or will she be angry that he lied to her.
Their story is interesting and full of ups and downs. I can see why Ethan felt the need to lie but I can also see why Olivia reacts the way that she does. How can you trust someone when it turns out the person you thought you knew you actually don’t know at all. I can understand Olivia’s feelings of hurt. She isn’t a gold digger so she isn’t interested in spending his money it was the fact that he lied to her.
I felt every emotion of these characters and while I understand both of their reactions and apprehensions I was hoping they would get their HEA. Will Olivia be able to forgive the lie? Or will that lie mean she won’t be able to trust Ethan? Will this break what potentially could have been a lasting loving relationship?

The author did an amazing job with Toni who recently let go of the past but thought that this vacation was going to help her but she met Mickey. Mickey only wants one thing and that is the freedom of not being married. But Toni has her way to make Mickey fall for her. It is horrible when Mickey did not want anything to do with Toni at first, I was like how could you but love has its way to take you in and turn your perspective and want it. That is how love catches you by surprise. Love it…

Love Is What It Is: A Holiday Romance

Another new to me author and another story I enjoyed. I have done most of my traveling through the books I read and I definitely enjoy the beach settings like in this one.

Toni is a little impulsive which isn’t always a good thing. This time it led her to going on a trip with a fairly new boyfriend, but she had no idea what to expect when they got there, though that room isn’t something many people would have expected.

Mickey and Toni lock eyes and the attraction was instant and deep. Neither knew what would happen but I can promise it wasn’t what ends up actually happening.

This was a cute story with some hot moments and I think the perfect length. It’s the perfect book to take with you for an afternoon at the pool.

What a fun short holiday romance! Toni go away on a vacation for 2 weeks with a guy she’s been seeing but regrets when they get to their destination. Queue Mickey, tall dark and handsome and their chemistry is INSTANT! Mickey tells Toni right up from he doesn’t do relationships, but she starts to feel herself falling for him. Mickeys ex even comes in to start some drama. This has the romance, the steam and drama but is such a great short read!

I enjoyed this book. It was sweet & spicy. Of course some drama from the exes. Love is What it is, a book I wanted more from. By the time I got all cozy it was over. I felt there were some spots that were a little rushed but overall it was a sweet & spicy short romance.
Toni goes on vacation to get away with one man, which ends up being a disaster. When she takes initiative she never expects the results to change her life.
Mickey doesn’t want or is looking for love. A good time sure. He’s been there done that in the marriage department and he wasn’t impressed. What happens when he meets Toni and she completely tilts his access. Being in a place of money and power he needs to make sure this isn’t going to be another attempt at that.
Again I’ll say I enjoyed the book. The way the author wrote Mickey, he transformed, and that transformation worked out beautifully.
I intend to look into other books by this author because I’m intrigued and want some more.

This is a short story about a holiday romance. It was fast paced romance set in a holiday environment. A atmosphere of sun, sea and good times. The characters were well written and I loved the humour and the depth of each character.

Toni has just come out of a bad relationship so when a guy she has just started seeing invites her to go away with him she jumps at the chance. After all 2 weeks of sun, sea and fun is just want she needs. However that plan fails when she realises as soon as they arrive that the guy she has come with isn’t the one for her.
After she leaves she meets a guy called Mickey. The connection and chemistry between them is instant and they are both wanting to see why this leads.
But Mickey puts his cards on the table and tells Toni that he doesn’t do relationships. Can this just be a holiday romance? What happens as Toni feels her self starting to fall for him? Will Mickey change his mind and give them a chance? And when Mickey’s ex comes back and trys to cause trouble will this relationship have any chance of growing and becoming more than just a holiday fling.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author, but it won’t be the last. This was a quick read, but this didn’t stop it from being entertaining especially with the ex-drama.

There’s sizzling chemistry between Toni and Mickey and the story shows them both facing obstacles in turning a holiday fling into more. I was rooting for the pair, not only for their chemistry but because they’ve both been scarred by love and despite this, Mickey is charming but respectable whilst Toni knows her own mind and value. They’re both great characters who deserve the sliver of happiness they’re seeking.

This is a great read for a quick holiday option, so if you’re looking for a holiday read, I recommend this one!

Love Is What It Is by Marina Hanna. This is a fun holiday romance. Its the story of Toni who is currently seeing Clive. Clive is ok but Toni is not convinced he’s the one. When they decide to go on a vacation together she is thinking it will be ok. Good food, great sex and fun together couldn’t be that bad. One they get there the motel is a dump and Toni leaves as soon as he’s asleep and checks into a nicer hotel. Checking in she notices a hot guy and they lock eyes. Things are looking up already. Toni meet Mickey(the eye locker) and they have a steamy fun time. Clive ends up showing up at the new Hotel and he and Mickey talk and Clive leaves. Fun in the sun and sand with no feelings involved is doable right. Mickey made it clear he’s not up for a relationship but Toni is starting to catch feelings. Will they just say goodbye at the end of the vacation or will Toni make Mickey see they can make it work?

This was an amazing read and a great storyline.

This book follows the story of Toni and Mickey. Toni is a woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it. After a break up the last thing Toni was looking for was a man to fall for. Enter a drop-dead gorgeous man on a dream vacation.

Mickey is a man that is not looking for anything serious. He wants to have fun and enjoy his life after his breakup. Even though he is not looking for anything serious Mickey is quite the gentleman.

What happens when two determined people meet? Will there only be sparks or will a fire start to burn?

Read this book to see if this holiday romance will go beyond that or be just that. Also, it gets steamy and spicy so keep some water close by to keep you cool.

Love is what it is and some people can’t describe it. Sometimes it happens quickly,
Sometimes it doesn’t happen at all.
Toni and Clive are seeing eachother / sleeping together and Clive mentions, they should go away for a bit. So they end up getting on a plane and taking a trip. What could better than a relaxing flight, a vacation with lots of sex, sun, sand and the ocean? Except all they did was fight from the time they got to the airport and it just got worse when they checked in to the hotel. Toni ends up leaving while he’s still asleep And booking a room at a much nicer hotel. As she’s about to check in, she locks eyes with a beautiful man and they are both attracted to eachother immediately. Mickey ends up stepping in when Clive shows up harassing Toni then introduces himself and they get to talking. They have a steamy, fun, romantic 2 week holiday while she’s there. All good things must come to an end though. Especially when there’s an ex wife who just won’t leave Mickey alone.
This book had me interested from the very beginning. It was fairly short but there was no boring pages filled with useless info added in. The book flowed and was captivating. Loved it.

Love is What it is by Marina Hanna and it was a fun and romantic book that I really enjoyed reading. Toni meets Mickey while on vacation and the sparks fly between them, and while exploring what could be, an ex comes and starts drama leaving Toni wondering what and if they can last and explore more of a future together.
I really liked how the author gave us two strong characters that were fun to learn more about and at the end of the book I smiled. I was hooked and think other romance readers will feel the same. The author gave us a good mix of love, drama, romance, and vacation fun!

It takes Toni less than 24 hours to realize that her vacation with her latest flings was not the way to go. So, she decides to go ahead and enjoy the vacation alone. However, the hot stranger in the lobby of the hotel quickly has her thinking a two-week fling might be just what she needs.

Mickey is holding his cards close to his chest because he has learned not to trust people. But, Toni has a way of calming him. He is down for a fling while she is in town. Throw in an ex-boyfriend of Toni’s that shows up…his ex-wife…and the fling Toni left behind day one…and there is enough drama for everyone. But, when their two weeks are up, did either of them keep their hearts out of the mix?

This was a quick and steamy read. Both characters are protective of their hearts after being burned in the past. They both just haven’t found the right person to give it to. There is definite miscommunication and getting in their own way that had me irritated with the characters I was just happy when they finally saw what was really going on between them! This was a good book that I was able to read in one sitting.
