I enjoyed parts of this story but was not a fan of the way it was written. It was a bit fast with not a lot of detail but then tons of detail that wasn’t needed . I feel like it has a great idea there but there is too much of the extra detail that isn’t needed thrown in but if you can get past that a great story to read and enjoy. The trials of falling in love.

Love Is What It Is was the first book that I read by this author, but it will not be the last. It is a contemporary romance full of passion, chemistry, romance, angst, bitter ex-lovers, rivals, and drama that all unfolds in a tropical location. When Toni goes on vacation with her new, not quite boyfriend, Clive, that she has only been seeing for three weeks she is expecting fun in the sun as well as between the sheets. Instead, she ends up in a dive of a motel with dirty sheets, broken bedsprings, and creepy crawlies skittling across the floor. Added to that Clive is being a total jerk to her and she regrets agreeing to go on vacation with him. Deciding to make the most of her trip alone, she leaves Clive sleeping and finds classier accommodations. While enjoying the new hotel she runs into Mickey, a drop-dead gorgeous guest staying at the hotel who comes to her rescue when Clive confronts Toni. Mickey and Toni are instantly attracted to one another and are enjoying each other’s company until his ex decides to interfere and ruin things for them. Toni falls hard for Mickey, but he is not keen on doing the love thing which breaks her heart. Can Toni and Mickey have any chance at a future together?
This was a great read with a beautiful tropical setting and characters that are easy to become invested in. Both Toni and Mickey have less than perfect track records with past relationships and the whole love thing. Past relationships also seem to be part of the present, interfering in any chance they have for love or a future together. It was interesting to see how Toni and Mickey navigated through these issues that popped up as they were getting to know one another. I loved this author’s writing style and the dash of humor that was sprinkled throughout. A great read that I highly recommend!

Toni Cooper is going on holiday with the man she has been seeing, only to figure out he is even more of a dud then she thought. Deciding her vacation is going to be solo she meets Mickey Wilson who she instantly connects with. As they explore the chemistry between them Mickey’s ex decides to interfere and has Mickey worried that she is going to ruin what he and Toni are building.
This was a fun quick romance. I liked the chemistry between Toni and Mickey. Mickey radiates charisma. Looking for a short holiday romance this is a good one to pick up.

Toni began by going on a romantic trip with her boyfriend. However, she ends up this trip without this boyfriend because it isn’t working out the way that she had planned it. She leaves the trip and she ends up at a different (read: better) hotel. At this hotel she meets a man and it definitely leaves her with amazingly hot and steamy nights. This man, however, doesn’t like those three little words. He doesn’t say them. Is this something that she can look past? Is she going to be able to convince him to change his mind? This was a quick read. It says it is a holiday read, but it is more a vacation read. It is the perfect beach read full of romance and comedy and just a couple that you want to root for. I definitely recommend pick this one up this summer!

Love Is What It Is by Marina is another fun brilliantly written contemporary sea sun and surf romance tale that had me completely captivated right from the very first page. It is a quick read that has everything to keep you engaged. This is not my first read by this author and I have loved everything I have read. The wonderful characters make it easy to dive in and are so easy to fall in love with. I became very invested in them and their story. Marinas wicked sense of humour is beautifully woven in this fun story. I loved every minute of it. Hearts maybe broken on a beautiful Mediterranean holiday. With lots of passion, some sizzling chemistry, a dash of angst and a little drama and some super sexy times makes for some fabulous reading. You know when you find an author and her words just click and you can’t get enough. Well, that is what happens when I read her work. You are truly missing out if you don’t dive into Marina’s work.

This is a fun, light hearted and entertaining romance story that was enjoyable from start to finish. I though the characters were interesting and had a great connection. I loved how their relationship developed and I wanted to see them work things out. This is a new author to me and I enjoyed the story I read. I liked the way the story unfolded and how I wanted to know more about what was going on. This is a great book and I am looking forward to see what else this author has to offer.

Toni thought she was going on a romantic trip with one boyfriend and dumped him because the trip, quite frankly, was a bust. She went to a much better hotel and had the adventure of a lifetime. The challenge was that the guy didn’t believe in saying “I love you.” The story takes us on their journey. Can they get past this? I found it a quick read. It had some nice humor, a bit of entertaining romance. You do find yourself giggling in spots. I wanted to root for them because it’s hard when someone doesn’t believe in love. It’s a good book that I think rmance readers may enjoy.

When Toni Cooper meets Micky Wilson on a Mediterranean island, it’s not long before their hot and steamy nights have her falling head over bikini. Add to the mix; An ex-wife – She can deal with it An ex-boyfriend – He’s an ex for a reason But – there’s always a but. How do you guard your heart, when the guy you’ve fallen for has made it clear he doesn’t do the love thing.
Marina was born and raised in London, with frequent plane journeys to other parts of the world. Her annual school report always said she’s a daydreamer and needs to live in the real world. She says, if you don’t dare to dream, you’ll only ever see the world in black and white. Her main goal in life is to inspire her children to follow their dreams, and to know that with hard work and effort, anything is possible. She likes to read and write romance that’s fun, flirty, steamy, and sexy, but always with a happily ever after.

Talk about STEAMY!!! This is a fast paced contemporary romance book good for the soul!
Mia and Dylan meet at the gallery Mia works for, while she has no clue that Dylan is a frequent buyer for the same gallery. After a while of some harmless flirting, on Dylan’s part, and selling art while flirting on Mia’s part, Dylan leaves rather quickly and suddenly but not without merit. She is disappointed, but has some new material for her “alone time” – as does Dylan. Things heat up quickly and move fast.
When Dylan has an extremely rare and expensive piece stolen, the detective immediately points to Mia and the distrust, fear, and angst come into play. Will Dylan and Mia get to the bottom of who stole the art piece? Will they be able to trust one another again? Will their chemistry and feelings for one another carry them through?? I guess you’ll have to continue the story to find out.

Kiss a Thief is a fast-paced contemporary romance with some mystery and angst thrown in! Once you begin the first few pages, buckle up because it is going to be a fast, bumpy, but thoroughly enjoyable ride!
Our story opens up in an art gallery where Mia works for the boss from hell. She is just paying her dues, hoping one day to open her own gallery. In walks the sexy billionaire Dylan Knight who captures her attention when she sees him admiring a piece of art. What begins as a sexy flirtation turns to lust and then much more! Yet, their road to happiness will be full of bumps, and I found myself rooting so hard for this couple, hoping they would get their HEA.
I was expecting a steamy romance, but what I wasn’t expecting was the great suspense and adventure which just added more layers to the book. Without spoiling anything, that little twist added trust issues for both characters, and that, in turn, added more layers and made the characters multi-faceted and complex. If you are looking for a quick, sexy read with some suspense, give Kiss a Thief a try!

I enjoyed this book a lot, made for a great afternoon read. Billionaire romance is a small guilty pleasure in reading of mine so this was up my alley. I liked these two main characters as they brought the chemistry and a good story with them. I was kept along from beginning to end and now I will be watching for the next book in this series .

This book is a great, steamy, standalone romance story that is pretty quick to read but a good read nonetheless. Although I think the book could have benefited from a little bit more depth at times I still found myself pulled in by the characters. This, for me, is the perfect kind of book to get lost in one afternoon. Mia and Dylan really were what this book was all about. Their story and their connection was believable and easy to get behind. The author has clearly set up the basis for other books in the series, with periphery characters from this book, and I am already looking forward to reading them.

Mia is intrigued by a stranger that comes in to the gallery during an exhibit. Although there is a spark there, she expects to never see him again…until she goes to deliver her favorite piece to its buyer (who happens to be the handsome stranger).
Dylan is enthralled with the woman from the gallery…and the best part is that she has no idea who he is. What starts out as a hookup quickly begins morphing into real feelings and thoughts of the future.
However, when a huge bombshell is dropped, Dylan believes that Mia may be just like everyone he has dated in the past. Is Mia really behind everything? And if she’s not…will she ever forgive him?
This book was an easy read that was fast paced and quite enjoyable. Mia and Dylan had immediate chemistry that wove its way through the entire story. The secondary characters were great and I’m not surprised that they will be the next book in the series. I am looking forward to reading their story next.

This book jumps right in to the steamy aspects and carries you along through the romance and instant attraction between Mia, a museum curator, and Dylan Knight, mega-mogul.
They meet at the gallery Mia works for, and while she is intensely attracted to Dylan, she has no clue who he is. They share some suggestive looks and discussion, only for Dylan to leave abruptly.
Steamy summer read, lots of drama and passion and emotion.

Down on her luck art curator, Mia, meets a handsome man, Dylan, at her galleries showing and they have instant attraction. However, is this good luck or not when an item suddenly gets stolen and Mia is being accused things get crazy. Who will end up on top and who will end up in a jail cell. This book is one crazy ride and shows how peoples insecurities can run their lives but also how you can overcome them. I can’t wait for Marina’s next book.

Ahhh I want to read it again! And I probably will! I loved Kiss A Thief so much! I couldn’t put it down. It wasn’t what I was expecting going in or even as I started to read it. Which is what kept me intrigued. Mia and Dylan are wonderful! I love their character development throughout. This book is hot, sexy, happy, sad, and full of betrayal. Yet the characters feel like they could be your everyday friends. Mia, an art gallery curator, is struggling to make ends meet, while doing something she loves. After meeting an alluring stranger, that has her captivated, at an art opening, changes her life. She falls and she falls hard, but what happens when trust comes into play? Dylan, one of the wealthiest bachelors in London, has been caught off guard by a beautiful stranger. He has to see her again, what he doesn’t realize at the time, is she is so much more. He trusts her implicitly, until he doesn’t. Breaking her heart and his own in the process. Will Mia & Dylan find their way back to one another? Will he ever believe she had nothing to do with the theft? I want to be the friend in Mia’s corner while she’s in turmoil dealing with the fallout of being the number 1 person of interest. I want to lash out on her behalf. I’ve become so invested. I just hope everything works out in the end. What did you think I was going to tell you? What’s the fun in that? The purpose is to get you just as sucked in as I was. I will end with this. #teammia!

4 Stars Kiss A Thief by Marina Hanna is a fun romance with a love aspect – as well as sizzling relationship, out of this world encounters, hilarious, tension, crime and investigating, mystery, trusting problems. When Billionaire Dylan Knight meets Mia Harris the love starts right away. When I say love starts right away their minds go straight to each other, can’t take their minds off the other. Why did they meet? What is really going on? Is one being set up to take the fall for the other? When bad things happen I think they are both set up to fail. Dylan and Mia, were great together and I don’t think anyone would mind if they fell hard for each other. I think they were an easy couple to get connected with. Did not want to see them fail. I thought the beginning of the story was a little slow but then the last part of the story felt a little rushed to get everything in the final story. Things that were made quite an issue in the story suddenly didn’t seem to matter much anymore, or were brushed over/aside. I really liked the story line, just seemed like after everything happened it was no big deal. I look forward to many more books to come. Happy reading! Thank you, Marina Hanna!

Mia and Dylan’s chemistry creates sparks from page 1. Both with past relationships that cause them to be weary to fall and love and allow themselves to open up to another. But from the first time they lay eyes on each other they can’t help their desire for each other. When a large problem arises will they be able to work though it, will their love for each other persevere?
My only dislike was how quickly the book ended. I would have loved to have a bit more of the resolution to tue conflict to close it out.
Other than that I can’t wait for the other books in this series!

This book was insanely cute and was so captivating that I could not put this book down! The two main characters, Mia and Dylan had such a fiery chemistry that was palpable from the first moment that they met. They began to see each other and have a relationship and it was such a fun great read. The twist in this book was one that had me floored and was so out of the box unexpected and had me wanting more! I cannot wait to tell all of my friends that I read this book and that it is one that everyone needs to add to their TBR list! The author writes amazingly well, so much so that I forgot I was reading a book.

Kiss A Thief by Marina Hanna is a fun contemporary romance with an insta-love aspect to the story- as well as sizzling chemistry, steamy encounters, humour, tension, crime and investigation, a little mystery, trust issues, and angst. Billionaire Dylan Knight meets Mia Harris and the sparks fly right from the get-go. They can’t get the other off their mind and soon find themselves on the insta-love train to forever after. But are there hidden agendas at work? Was there an ulterior motive to their meeting? Is one being set up to take a fall? Because when theft occurs, they are both set to lose. I really liked Dylan and Mia, I thought they were really great together and I didn’t mind that they fell hard and fast. I connected with them easily and was invested in them and the outcome of their story right from the beginning. I have read a few of Ms. Hanna’s books now and have loved them- but unfortunately this one didn’t have the same effect on me as the others did. I really wanted to be wowed, like I was with the others, and I wanted to adore this book so badly, but ended up just a little disappointed. I felt that the beginning of the story was a little slow to get going… but then the last part felt rushed as threads were ‘tied up’ a little too quickly and conveniently. Things that were made quite an issue in the story suddenly didn’t seem to matter much anymore, or were brushed over/aside. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy the story, but felt it wasn’t as ‘strong’ as some of her other books. This story also introduces us to the characters who will get their own books in the future- setting us up for at least two more books. I am looking forward to ‘Before You Say I Do’ (Liam and Emma’s story) and ‘My Crazy Heart’ (Zack and Melanie’s story). Happy Reading!

Kiss A Thief is told in alternating perspectives between the two main characters. First, there is Mia Harris who works as a curator for her boss, Charlies, in an art gallery that is located in a suburb of London. At an exhibition Mia meets Dylan Knight who is a billionaire. The two quickly develop an intense connection to each other that has plenty of hot/spicy scenes. Along the way the reader is also introduced to Emma, who is a friend of Mia’s that works as a bartender. There is also the business partner of Dylan’s whose name is Liam. Who is the thief? That’s the mystery you have to read to discover! Find out if Mia and Dylan’s relationship will survive the questions. I couldn’t put this down until I found out!

This is a really great standalone contemporary romance that had me hooked from the very beginning and refused to let me go until it spat me out at the end. I have read work by this author before but this has been by far my favourite. It is so much more than the romance between billionaire Dylan Knight and struggling art curator Mia Harris. There is a suspenseful story of art theft that runs alongside the romance and that had me gripped as much as the romance itself. The romance side of the story is a compelling read. It’s very much an opposites attract and the sparks fly as soon as Mia and Dylan set eyes on each other. Mia and Dylan are very well written, relatable characters that I loved reading about. I could have read about this couple for hours and hours and not wanted to put the book down…and I did! Definitely recommend.

An enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance, which kept me happily turning the pages. As soon as billionaire Dylan Knight and Mia Harris, who works at an art gallery meet, sparks fly and their sexual chemistry sizzles off the page. The couple are consumed by their mutual desire and feel as though they have met the person of their dreams. However, appearances can be deceptive and having fallen hard and fast, can one of them be using the other as a pawn in their plans. Can one of them really be a, Liar, Con-Artist, Swindler, even a thief? This is a standalone steamy romance with added drama, suspense and plenty of emotional angst. I loved Dylan and Mia and their chemistry really came across in the narrative. Both of them were likeable and relatable characters, who were well developed and I found myself wanting them to get their HEA. The storyline flowed well and the plot twists kept me hooked, thankfully there was no cliffhanger ending! A great read and I would definitely recommend this novel.

I really loved this book!! I could not put it down for the life of me. I felt like a kid at night reading it instead of sleeping. Marina’s use of descriptors and metaphors was absolutely wonderful and painted such vivid pictures. The plot and character development was well written. Also a lot of twists and turns you don’t see coming! 10/10 would recommend. This book starts out with a point of view from Mia, who works at an art gallery with a crappy boss. She is at an art showing and sees a stranger admiring her favorite statue. Well this stranger, who she finds out later is named Dylan and sparks fly. Things snowball from there. I always love books with different points of view included in the chapters and this is no exception. Marina gets the points of view down pat and really emerges you in her story. Definitely a must read for anyone who likes the so called “smut” books!

I loved this romance story. I was gripped from the beginning. The author does an amazing job with the characters. Their passion from the beginning was instant and hot. You fall in love right away. Yet with the twists you also feel the complete heartbreak as well.
Mia is an art curator in a gallery. When she first meets Dylan sparks fly. Dylan is smart, so attractive, everything a woman could want. Dylan feels the spark too. He feels that Mia is so different to all the other woman he has had in his life. As they start to date their relationship starts to bloom and as fast moving as the relationship is you can feel them falling in love. However things aren’t smooth sailing and when some art pieces are stolen from Dylan’s home everything points to Mia being the theif.
Did Mia really steal those things? Was the feelings and connection all an act for Mia to get access to his home? And if Mia is innocent can their relationship ever be fixed after the lack of trust?
