Love Is What It Is by Marina Hanna – Review by Rosanna Ingram

Love Is What It Is: A holiday RomanceLove Is What It Is: A holiday Romance by Marina Hanna
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It takes Toni less than 24 hours to realize that her vacation with her latest flings was not the way to go. So, she decides to go ahead and enjoy the vacation alone. However, the hot stranger in the lobby of the hotel quickly has her thinking a two-week fling might be just what she needs.

Mickey is holding his cards close to his chest because he has learned not to trust people. But, Toni has a way of calming him. He is down for a fling while she is in town. Throw in an ex-boyfriend of Toni’s that shows up…his ex-wife…and the fling Toni left behind day one…and there is enough drama for everyone. But, when their two weeks are up, did either of them keep their hearts out of the mix?

This was a quick and steamy read. Both characters are protective of their hearts after being burned in the past. They both just haven’t found the right person to give it to. There is definite miscommunication and getting in their own way that had me irritated with the characters I was just happy when they finally saw what was really going on between them! This was a good book that I was able to read in one sitting.
