Book 11 in this series, yet while I have read other books by this author, this is my first one in this series. I was a bit confused with some of the characters and how they connected. But overall I found this book to be exciting and full of steamy bits and there was suspense. So I will be going back to book one and reading through the whole series now. I am definitely intrigued to get the whole back story.

This is the 11th book in the Masters of the Consulate series. This is another dark paranormal romance which has elements of danger, twist and turns, betrayal, in this one with have a Dom/submissive relationship. Each one of these books is the story about a different Master finding his fated mate however I would recommend reading them in order as there is a story that runs underneath which is a battle between the pure bloods and the rogues both fighting for ultimate control over the underworld. In this story we are with Master Bistrita and Chara. The rogues have moved into Master Bistrita’s territory so all the Masters have to work with him to try and defeat the rouges once and for all. What he didn’t expect was meeting his fated mate in the form of Chara. However it wasn’t love at first site. When Chara barges into their meeting to warn her friend about a danger her reaction to Bistrita wasn’t very warm. However she soon starts to realise that there is something between them that neither can deny. But when Bistrita start putting his rules and orders in place will she willing obey or will her feisty attitude and disobedience lead them back into more danger.

This book is yet another exciting chapter in the amazing series Masters of the consulate. I cannot stress enough that you need to start this story at book one to get the basics of the war with the rogues and understand the importance of the characters. This book is also about the love story between Bistrita and Chara – fated mates ❤️ and has bdsm undertones.
It’s very hard to write a review without spoilers so I suggest you get a hold of the series and get comfortable and lose yourself in the books themselves. I cannot wait for book 12 and the exciting conclusion.

I can’t believe we are already on the 11th Book of the Masters of the Consulate series. I made quick work of the book for two reasons. One it’s about 150ish pages and two it was just that good I couldn’t put it down.The plot unfolds with a well-crafted balance of suspense,passion and action ensuring that you’ll remain hooked from start to finish. I hope we get to see more of Chara and Bistrita. In the next I liked them. This book provides a satisfying mix of intrigue and character development, its familiarity with characters from the earlier books will really enhance the reading experience.so I highly suggest you go back to start at book one, and enjoy the thrilling journey this series takes you on. Hurry also because book 12 comes out next month. I’m sooooo excited for it.

Oooo. I can’t believe this series is almost over, I have enjoyed every moment of this series, and this book was no different. Sylvia Black truly is one of my favorite authors. Dual perspectives of Bistrita and Chara. Chara is the best friend of Natalia from the previous book and Master Bistrița’s land butts up to Oradea’s in the target zone. Everything finally starts to come to a head in this one. Devora has finally given her blessing to the witches to help the purebloods. Also, with Natalia’s syndicate brothers and their men forming a barrier around the zone things seem to finally be working. Destiny has brought the witches to their pureblood mates. Now Bistrita has a new battle, one he never expected in the form of a red-headed beauty that won’t be ordered around without a fight. She’s not made of glass, and she won’t let him treat her as if she were. Everything about this amazing series pulls you in. The tropes and the guaranteed happily ever after in each book for each couple is gold. I cannot wait to see how it all comes to an end in book twelve, Master Slobozia, October 19th, 2024. We already got glimpses of Taylen but how will she fair against her master?

Master Bistrita is the 11th book in the Masters of the Consulate series. While I have not read them all, I would suggest reading book 10 before this one, otherwise you wont know what the heck is going on. This book picks up where the previous book left off. While I have enjoyed what I have read of this series, this book was not my favorite. I am not really into BDSM, and the only book I really read with it was 50 shades. And parts of this book felt very much like that- contract, signing NDA, etc. With looking past that, and quickly speed reading those sections, I enjoyed the rest of the book. I like all the mixed relationships and the plot of the series as a whole. I enjoyed the characters as each as Bistrita and Chara are both strong personalities and love fiercely.

This one is filled with action and suspense! I really enjoyed it! I highly recommend reading the series in order to get the most out of this story. We see a lot of characters from the past as the series is winding down. I liked that the author spent more time on figuring out how to stop the traitors instead of on the sex life of the two mc. They had a quick connection and thankfully others spotted it and helped them out. I like the friendships that have been built in this series. Looking forward to Lucas demise.

Great short story. Doesn’t take very long to read but does have a decent amount of description. The story progresses fairly quickly but still keeps you interested. It’s fated mates with a twist. It follows a war between rogue vampires and shifters against other vampires, shifters, and witches. It mentions the underworld and the way vampires become vampires includes a trip to the underworld upon death. It does have some smut so read your triggers.

Chara is a waitress in one of the Masters club but is a bit of a handful but when she discovers something which could help the Consulate no-one is willing to take her seriously enough to heed the warning, but when she is in front of Master Bistrita there is just something about him which drives her to distraction.
Master Bistrita is the same as all the other Consulate masters, alpha and dominate through and through but when he meets Chara he is so attracted to her can he throw out his usual “Contract” to pursue this fascinating woman., but will this distract him from the task ahead trying to find out who is trying to destroy them.
This is the eleventh book in this series and although you could read this as a stand alone story I would recommend reading the whole series, although the book is quick you get to understand the whole consulate and how we have got to this place in the story.
As always the chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts and drives the story forward with pace. I loved the way the author has still made the story fresh after so many books and that you are still invested within the overall details. I can’t wait for the last instalment of this story and finally understand who is responsible and so they win the war.

When she realizes that she is in fact Master Bistrita’s fated mate, can she find a role in helping the others save mankind from a hostile takeover from rogue forces that want life to essentially go back to the dark ages? Will Master Bistrita embrace that gift that fate has given him before it’s too late?
I have read this series from the beginning. It was a quick read for me, as I knew a lot of the backstory. I felt like the author touched on it enough for me to remember but others coming into it thinking this is a standalone, might want to think about going back to the beginning for more depth to the storyline. Chara challenged Bistrita endlessly, and I enjoyed his torment in thinking that he could make her into a submissive person. Additionally, I liked that in this book the next Master is introduced with the love interest for him. (I am looking forward to seeing him squirm.) Each book has its own purpose on the path to the end and this one wasn’t anything less than the others. I am truly looking forward to the culmination of this series!

I can’t believe we are almost at the end of this series. It has been a wild ride! Master Bistrita meets his fated mate, Chara, in the bar owned by the vampires. She has been working there for years so it is a mystery how the two of them never met. If I had to guess it was because Bistrita didn’t visit the bar regularly or he wasn’t destined to find his mate until now. All it took was a pack of rogue wolves trying to harm everyone in the bar. She is a woman that marches to the beat of her own drum and breaks the rules rather than follows them. He on the other hand is the one that makes the rules and needs to have control at all times. How can two people who are so different be perfect for each other? All of these books have been fast paced but they are all good. Each book is about a different Master and each can be read on their own. I however do suggest reading them in order due recurring characters and the inevitable buildup to the end of this ongoing war.

I am really loving this series. I have read most all of them from this author and I really am enjoying them. The characters are well written and there is a good balance of romance and drama. I really like how the books all tend to flow into one another. The author is able to really engage the reader and keep your focus on the book. The chemistry between the characters is unique and adds to the appeal of this series. I also like how there are multiple couples within the story line. This is one of my most favorite genres as well. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This book is the 11th in the series and is another one that just makes it so much better. I would definitely recommend reading all of the books in order to really get the best out of the series. This book is everything I have come to expect. It is exciting from the first page and I was hooked instantly. The world the author has created is so intense and it pulls me in each and every time with ease. I loved the characters who are the focal point of this book. Their connection is undeniable and I was just as engaged in them as I was the story. I loved this book and I hope the author keeps the series going for many more to come

When Chara and Master Bistrita’s worlds collide everything changes. There is no denying the attraction between the two but there is a war going on and Master Bistrita must work to figure out how to deal with more than just his emotions. Chara and Master Bistrita make a nice couple and seeing the development of their relationship made for a nice read. It is interesting to see the way Chara deals with learning about fated mates and BDSM and the interaction she has with Master Bistrita about them. Their story moves at a good pace and is full of emotions. This book has a nice mix of action and romance making it a nice addition to the series.

This book was a really good continuation of this series. The story of Bistrita and Chara had so much drama and excitement. This series is so good and each new book just gets better. There is a bit of a twist in this story that really surprised me but made for a really interesting read. I have enjoyed reading this series and look forward to reading more from this author.

So good!! I haven’t read them all but I didn’t feel like I was missing huge pieces of the story. I was able to follow right along and understand what was going on. There were of course references to things I didn’t read but it wasn’t a piece I had to know to follow the story. Love love love. Can’t wait to read the rest!!

Chara is worried about her friend Natalia who is a newly turned vampire Natalia is flighting alongside the Masters and her mate Master Oradea, against the rogues. Since Natalia is new in role Chara is worried about her and fells a sense of dread that something is going to happen to her. As Chara is trying to warn Natalia, Master Bistrita tells Chara there is no need to worry. Like I believe him. No amount of rational thinking would think this arrogant man that dismissed me like I was nothing would be my fated mate. This is another book in the Masters of the Consulate series that involves Master Bistrita and Chara. The book starts as many of them in the series do, they are trying to keep their power as pureblood vampires and overthrow the war that is building against them. Chara works for the masters in one of their bars as a waitress and has been there for a handful of years. She is good friends with Master Oradea’s new vampire wife, Natalia (who we met in the last book). Chara feels that something bad is coming and tries to warn Natalia and the masters but is brushed away – as they claim they are aware. However, because they didn’t take her seriously, the book begins with rogue wolves entering the club and trying to harm those inside. As with all the other books, the quick meet cute between Chara and Master Bistrita presents a spark between the two that neither can deny. Master Bistrita however only builds “relationships” if a contract is involved due to his need to dominate. Chara needs to decide if he is worth his demands. She is someone that doesn’t take demands lightly and has an independence about her. Can he keep it together while the rogues are trying to get to what he wants to be his? Will she listen to him and obey him not only for her safety, but for her pleasure? And in the end will they finally see the way to ending this war? This book has many elements to it between the love interests. The book deals with fated mates, the importance of loyalty, enemies to lovers, age gap, and yummy dark romance. This is a stand-alone like all in the series, but it is important (if you want to understand what is happening and all the characters) to read the others that came before it. For this particular book, I felt the same as I do for all of them, it was good, with good characters, but it does move quickly and the relationship aspect has no real build up – it is all of sudden – they belong together. I thought the character aspect is similar from previous books, especially on the master’s part. He is demanding and protective of what is his. She is feisty, but easily willing (some of the time) to give into the connection the two have. But as in all the other books, there are still secrets, mysteries, love, agendas, etc. to entice the readers.

I’m going to be sad when these books are done. I absolutely love this series! Master Bistrita is the beginning of the end. One more book left, though the author kept you guessing. It felt like it was going to wrap up in this book and not go one more. These books are not meant to be read as standalone novels, but in consecutive order. It’s one long story told over the series, where each of the masters falls. This time it was Master Bistrita’s turn. Chara has a lot going on. Worried about her friend, worried about what’s going on, potentially being in danger ect. Never did she expect a vampire master to be on her radar. Especially after she stood up to him and gave him a peace of mind while checking up on her friend. Never believing in fated mates that all changed after Master Bistrita came to her rescue there’s something there, which exactly needs to be explored. Master Bistrita doesn’t have time to lust after someone, a human at that. He needs to locate Lucas to end this war with the rogues. But Chara is a presence he can’t deny. She’s more and he wants all of her. Unfortunately his worry for her is impeding his judgment while trying to finish the war. Will Chara and Bistrita give in? Will they locate Lucas? Again I don’t want this series to end. I’m glad there’s one more book to look forward too! It’s so worth it! This one was good not one of my favorites but good all the same.

I was a little lost starting this book, but it is probably more to do with me starting here and not at the beginning, once I got into the storyline of the book, I only put it down when I had to. This is the first book I have read by this author, and I have to say because of the writing style I found this book easy to read. I do not tend to read a lot of vampire stories, but I am glad I decided to give this book a go. This book the main characters are Bistrita and Chara. I did find that these two characters were a little repetitive in the way they spoke to each other, but for me it did not spoil their storyline. I also liked how strong both Bistrita and Chara’s characters were as strong as each other. To finish this book is fast paced, has quite a bit action, which I hope will keep you interested in the story.

Master Bistrita is the 11th book in the ‘Masters of the Consulate’ series. Although it can technically be read as a stand alone since each book focuses on one vampire master and their fated mate, I would suggest reading the series since the sub plot has been going on since very early on. Plus it would make it easier to know who is who.
This time around we follow Master Bistrita and Chara. Chara is a bartender and when the two of them meet, it’s fireworks first thing. They very quickly fall in love and as a Dom/Sub relationship, there is a lot of steam. Most of the time, I love the females in this series but honestly, I found Chara desperate. She really wants to become a vampire and throw everything away for a man she just met. There wasn’t a lot of relationship building with these two. Everything just happens quickly. For a BDSM couple, I expected more steamy scenes but there were only a few.
As for the sub plot, they are still trying to hunt down Lucas. A witch is helping him to evade them at every corner so they have to find out who is helping him if they want to finally catch up to him. Their revenge has been a long time coming.

Master Bistrita is Book 11 in the Master of the Consulate series and I continue to love this series so much. I definitely recommend reading this series from the beginning as each book builds on the characters and also the fight against the evil rogues. Getting lost in the story, Sylvia does an excellent job of luring me in with Vampire Masters, rogues, witches, suspense, danger, betrayals but also spice and everything nice. This story really took me on a roller coaster and anticipation and definitely did not disappoint…
Master Bistrita is a dominant vampire and very loyal. Meeting his match in Chara, he never though it would come down to fated mates. When danger lurks even right next to them….the fight to survive is only the beginning of Bistrita and Chara….

Again the author continues to write a series that is completely spectacular and I was thrilled to get to read this next story in the series. While these are standalone stories all with HEA, because of the running storyline of the rogues attempting to take out the purebloods, it might be easiest to start at the beginning of the series, so you can personally get to know the other characters in the stories. Master Bistrita and Chara have quickly become 2 of my favorites together, I enjoy that he seems to be taking the dominance piece to a higher level than seen before in the other stories, but that Chara seems to make him break all of the rules he has created. It is interesting getting to see vampires, witches, werewolves, and humans working together to take down the rogues. I can wait to read book 12 and see how it all ends.

Another great book by the author. I have read most if not all of the series. Each time I picked up a book, I enjoyed the story and learning about the different pure blood vampires masters and their mates throughout the series. The connection the couples have with each other and with the others in their master group is fighting the rogue vampires. I suggest the books be read in order as much as possible to be able to connect the story from the beginning.

Master Bistrita (Masters of the Consulate Book 11) by Sylvia Black. I’m going to start by saying I’ve not read all of these books but I was still able to understand the plot and characters. This is a paranormal vampire series and its really good. Its the story of Bistrita who is a dominant and he is set on making Chara submit to his will. Chara is very strong willed and is not going to go willingly. They are fated mates but Chara is determined to not be owned by someone. She really wants to be a vampire but she’s not willing to sell her soul for it. Chara is very independent and not really into being owned by anyone but she can’t deny the sexual attraction between them. There is also a war that is going on and much of the story revolves around that taking away from their romance. This story is full of greed, Betrayal, dark underworld, romance and war. Its a great Paranormal Vampire read!

Another Amazing instalment in the Masters of the Consulate series that will keep you turning page after page while keeping you on the edge of your seat. The whole time I was reading it I had such mixed feelings…I wanted to hurry up because I had to know what was going to happen but I also didn’t want it to end. LOL I know we can’t have it both ways but wouldn’t it be good if we could! This book takes us further again into the battle against the rogues and yet more betrayal stings hard. Master Bistrita finds his fated mate in Chara, who proves to be a challenge at times herself. I hope book 12, which will be the exciting conclusion to this fantastic series, isn’t too far away..I just have to know what’s next!!!!!!

It certainly worked as a stand alone as the back story is touched on and discussed in a way that you can follow but I feel you may enjoy more if read in order, saying this the Character development continues and the world is described in a way that you can visualise it easily as you read. <br />This story follows Master Bistrita and Chara, a fated mates BDSM relationship that could have been delved into a little more, and their story feels a little like it takes a step to the side as most of the storyline leans towards the hunt for someone betraying the Consulate and their mates. <br />I would certainly read more by this author to see if I gel with their style.<br /> <br/><br/> <a href=”https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/34425105-tracy”>View all my reviews</a>

This is book 11 of the Masters series and it was filled with lots of action and twists and turns. You can feel the anticipation of a huge ending coming in the final book 12. Can’t wait for the next book. I really enjoyed the story of Master Bistrita and Chara. Another fabulous woman to add to the masters mates. Some surprises in this one so make you read this book to find out what is happening.
