I absolutely love this series! Master Trentino did not disappoint. I’m a sucker for a romance novel, but I am not and have always been obsessed with vampires. I enjoy other supernatural beings but I hold Vampires up on a pedestal and I don’t care who knows it!
Continuing on their quest to find out who Lazareth is answering too, who has been betraying the Vampire community, while putting the mates of the other masters and overmaster in danger.
Trentino comes across Angel in his travels. Unfortunately for Angel her brothers, though over protective, have sealed her fate the minute they tried to hide Lazareth in her basement. Trentino is drawn to her and shows up at the right time to turn her into a member of the Vampire community.
Angel, now a vampire mourning the loss of two of her brothers, struggles with her new reality. She grew up believing vampires were bad & scum, now she doesn’t know how to feel. All the while her oldest brother has been taken hostage for ransom somewhere. Keeping her on edge.
If you like a good romance and are like me and love vampires, trust me you will get everything you need and then some from this book and series. Come check it out!

This book was just simply amazing. Being the third in the series I just knew that I had to read it, and when it hit my kindle I dove right in. I have once again fallen in love with the authors wonderful characters, both the masters and the beautiful women that they claim. I loved that Angel was the one working with Master Trentino, the chemistry between the two of them was enough to take your breath away and keep you on the edge of your seat. Like the previous installments there are reaccuring characters and there is never a dull moment. Full of romance, suspense, action and more, this book is just marvelous from start to finish.

This author never disappoints, and this series only continues to get better each book! Sexy, dark, dangerous, and intense can sum up a few things about this book! As we encounter the new characters and the old ones you cannot help but feel giddy for what’s about to come. We are now introduced to our 3rd couple we are drawn more into the dark Vampire world and its hidden secrets.

You could feel every emotion, action, and word spoken between Master Trentino and Angel. Events that lead Trentino to saving Angel’s life by turning her change them both forever. Angel was raised to believe Vampires were the enemy, and as she begins her transformation there are many mixed emotions. As she comes into her new self she must learn to accept her new world and also try to fight her feelings and cravings for Master Trentino.
Trentino and Angel have much to learn from one another, and as they intertwine their life and love they find a way through the chaos together.

Another amazing book in this captivating series by this wonderful author. i never can get enough of their books or the characters threat they create! I am always sucked in completely and hooked, and I tend to fall in love with every Master in every book, as they are all different in sexy and wonderful ways!

I really liked Angel in this one who is working with Master Trentino! The two were quite the pair to say the least. Both brought on that strong chemistry and wow factor when they shared conversations together as well as when they just stood close to one another in the same room! I love how this book really had a strong connection between these two! I know the others did as well, but this one seemed the characters were made for one another just from the start! Of course, loved how past characters from the other books make their appearances. I love how I learn more and more about The Consulate in every book I enjoy reading. This one was my favorite so far. I loved Angel on who she was as a person, and she truly spoke to me as if she had parts of my soul within her! There is never a dull moment in this series. This one really brought on the suspense and action, and those sexy scenes I know and love. The book was wonderful with action, romance, and steaminess’. I loved this book from start to finish!

Wonderful read once again by such an amazing author. I truly can never get enough of this work, they write such wonderful books full of wonderful characters. I highly recommend this book and this series, its for sure one not to miss out on, its truly a perfect read for any occasion! Love this book/series/author!

Trentino and Angel are made for each other. Watching them grow close, seeing the heat between them and the way that their souls just seem to immediately click was breathtaking. I absolutely loved how Angel, Lucianna, Delilah and Embry become fast friends. The four of them together are just so funny that I couldn’t help laughing out loud, especially when they got busted in Trentino’s dungeon after Angel had been told to stay out. She definitely knew what she was doing when she went down there against his warnings. There are so many twists and turns in this story that I never saw coming and that had me eagerly glued to it from the very first page. There’s betrayal, romance, strong females, powerful dominant vampires, witches, shifters..what more could a girl want? You definitely don’t want to miss out on this book and I highly recommend that you start this series from the beginning because it will make so much more sense if you do.

Christian and Delilah work to defy the odds together. I’m so glad that this second story in this series is about Christian and Delilah because I’ve been waiting since book one to find out more about the two of them! He is so powerful but also protective of his love who is still human. She’s kidnapped by horrible human traffickers that are trying to get back at the vampires to gain more power for themselves. The horror that she witnessed while she was there is enough to rock anyone to the core and so once again she runs from Christian. There are so many forces working against them but they have a deep love that can’t be ignored or denied. When fate decides for them that it’s time for her to become a vampire she quickly has to adjust and soon realizes that she was more ready than she realized. I really enjoyed watching Delilah embrace her powers as she becomes stronger and fights to protect her new family. I’m so excited to read the next book in this series!

Salvatore and Lucianna are truly meant to be. I really enjoyed the first book in this series. The details in this book are incredible and I really enjoyed hearing all of the details about how everything started. I think it’s perfect that the Overmaster was the first to have his story told. The attraction between Lucianna and Salvatore is intense even just from them each simply laying eyes on the photograph of the other. Once they’re actually in the same room together, there’s no denying something very special is between them and that fate is drawing them closer and closer. There is so much action and mystery in this story along with romance and heat. It’s truly magical seeing the big, gruff, powerful Overmaster melt when it comes to his Lucianna. When the truth is revealed about her past I absolutely swooned-it was so perfect! Some amazing background characters are introduced in this first book and I’m so exited to read their stories too!

Master Trentino and Angel are fighting an incredible battle. Kind of like Romeo and Juliet, he finds her dying and rescues her; but she’s the sister of his enemy. They fight some big, big battles that make you wonder if they will stand strong together or fall apart. I can’t tell you what happens but I can tell you that its worth the read to find out. You should read the first two books in the series too. The eye candy on the cover is fabulous and doesn’t hurt either. The author always amazes me at how she writes in such a way that makes the mafia wars in Vegas with the vampires so interesting. I highly recommend this book.

This is the first book in a new paranormal vampire series. The series is likely to be 12 books long as there are 12 members of the Vampire Consulate around which these books are written. This is a new author to me as I’m just starting to read more paranormal books. I thoroughly enjoyed my first book by this author and already have books 2 & 3 in the series on my kindle waiting for me to devour.
Salvatore Descallia is the Overmaster of the vampire consulate and is used to everyone doing as he asks without question. When he meets Lucianna Denaro, a police office with clairvoyant talents, he finally meets someone who is not afraid to say no to him and questions his authority. While this enrages him, he can’t help being fascinated and attracted to Lucianna (Luce).
I loved the interactions between Luca and Salvatore. His continual attempts to dominate her and her disregard for his authority, makes for some fun reading.
This is much more than just a paranormal romance, there is an intense and complicated background story running alongside the romance element and that makes this such an intriguing and entertaining read. I was really drawn into the story from the very beginning and, as the book leaves you with a taster of what’s coming next, can’t wait to read the next installment.

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.

Master Trentino first sees Angel while visiting her home on a job. There was something about Angel that calls to him and he ends up going back to the house where he finds that she had been shot and decides to save her by turning her.

As she comes into her new life Angel is also developing feelings for Master Trentino. He also feels the same way. Angel has the gift of speaking to the dead like her grandmother. Will she be able to use this gift to help Master Trentino and the other vampires?

Overall this was a great thrilling read with vampires, danger, magic, steamy moments and so much more. I did also have some LOL moments as well. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. This can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading from the beginning so you can get the full effect of all the characters. It’s been awhile since I have found a vampire series that pulls me in like this one has and I love it. 1-click and get started today.

Master Trentino is the third book in the Masters of the Consulate series by Sylvia Black. As with the previous two books, this is a delicious, dark, paranormal romance- with vampires, shifters, witches, conspiracy, hidden agendas, an underworld society, politics, the supernatural, magic, danger, tension, intrigue, drama, emotion, fantastic world-building, twits, dramatic turns, and a whole lot of sizzlingly HOT details.
This book could be read as a standalone, but as there are interconnected details, as well as recurring characters that span the three books (so far)- I really recommend reading the first two book so you know what has happened previously, as they contain information that I feel would help you to better appreciate this book, and the series as a whole.
In a turn of events, Master Trentino feels he has no option but to turn Angel (a psychic) in order to save her. This sets them off on an action-packed adventure, facing danger to uncover corruption and hunt down enemies. Angel will need to decide who to trust and what side to choose. Things get complicated and their chemistry isn’t the only thing simmering in this intriguing underworld society. What transpires definitely makes for riveting reading!
I am really excited to find that there are 12 books planned for this series! Colour me happy!
Bring on Book Four!!!
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Sylvia Black!

This author started out with a bang with this paranormal vampire romance series, and it just keeps on getting better. The narrative makes it so easy to get lost amongst the pages of this deliciously dark tale. With rogue shifters and witches, vampires and things that go bump in the night, the masters have been betrayed and now they fight for survival in their own world.
The world building and characters make this tale enticing and delightful and takes you to a place where the world is harsh but with it comes a sense of beauty as they fight to protect their mates.
The suspenseful story is fast paced, intense, and hot, hot, hot. Don’t miss out on this wonderful series. I can’t wait for the next book.

This is an author that is fast becoming one of my favorites for the dark paranormal gene. This is the third book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous two books. It will help you with your enjoyment of this series as well as this author’s writing style. This is a well written story that pulled me in from the beginning. The characters are not only relatable but also keep the story engaging. This is a story that is not only dark but also full of action. It is a fast paced story that kept me turning pages to the end. This is Angel and what happens when she is found in a pool of blood. It is a story in which she will need to overcome her own demons to fight by Trentino’s side. Will that happen? You need to pick up this book to find out. It has great growth with the characters and the plot throughout the story. The characters have great chemistry that I truly enjoyed. This is worth the pick up for sure. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Forbidden Love, bad choices and second chances!
Master Tuscano is just as good as Master Descallia if not better.
In this book the Syndicate, witches, shifters, rogue vampires and Consulate seem to all have their own agendas. These additional characters add to the story very well.

Delilah ran off with the witches because she was denied the life with Christian that she wanted by the Consulate. She seeks refuge with the witches who treat her kind, even though they have a long-standing vendetta with the vampires.
When Christian found her after her abduction, he seeks revenge. He doesn’t realize she wants her own revenge. That is, until she keeps disobeying his direct orders and darn the consequences! (Even though she enjoys the consequences very much 😉)

The Syndicate, the witches, the shifters, rogue vampires and the Consulate seem to all have their own agendas. These additional characters add to the story very well.

There definitely is a plot twist that I didn’t see coming and hopefully it surprises you as well. I have read many Vampire Novels and Sylvia has made the Masters of the Consulate a series I do not want to miss a single Novel from!

Sylvia Black brings Master Toscano in as the hero of this book. A vampire of the Consulate in love with a human. When Delilah is left dead at his feet he takes her to to the underworld to be with him. The problem being…he didn’t get permission from the Consulate first, and Delilah has never been a fan of the underworld. Right from the start this book is filled with conflict, passion, and action. A gripping novel from start to finish following a human and a vampire in love trying to fight for their right to be together. There is really no one as formidable as a vampire in love.

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2)Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A dark vampire mafia romance. What’s not to love about that sentence?

Master Tuscano should really be read after book 1, Master Descalia, for the greatest understanding as Tuscano has continuation of the “us v them” storyline from book 1. Semi-spoiler: That storyline will continue in book 3 too.

Here we get to explore the romance and mating of Christian Tuscano and Delilah, who we were introduced to in book 1. Christian and Delilah yearn for one another despite the consulate not approving of their relationship.

I enjoyed Christian and Delilah as a couple and them coming together despite outward forces trying to keep them apart. I like how the author switches the first person POV between Christian and Delilah because it gives us more insight as to what they’re each thinking and why they’re doing things. Delilah is a spitfire who isn’t going to just sit down and let the men deal with the issues they’re facing, yet she can also be submissive to Christian, sometimes.

It was interesting to see where Luciana and Salvatore were in their relationship now and how that continued to grow. Also, we’re reading about it from two other character’s perspectives, so it’s a fun turn-about. I still love Embry and the levity she brings to even the most serious of situations. Also, who doesn’t love a female who’s confident enough in herself to basically waitress and walk around a club topless and flaunting her nipple piercings? I hope to read more about Embry specifically.

While I overall enjoyed the story and the characters, I can only give this book a 3.5 rating as there were inconsistencies that kept pulling me out of reading to try and understand. Also, while this is a fantasy novel (hello paranormal beings) some pf the things that happen are outside the realm of possibilities, like transporting yourself half way around the world in a few seconds soon after becoming a vampire.

Trigger warnings: non sexual dub-con (dubious consent), rehashing of sexual assault and trafficking, anal sex, fictional death and gruesome beatings.

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2)Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

After the kidnapping and trafficking Delilah was saved from, she’s had to process the trauma and emotions that came with those experiences. At the same time, the conversation about what her and Christian are has been looming in the background for months. Wanting to be his mate as a human has come with more strings than what she thought was possible. Now, it’s her turn to take revenge on those that hurt her. Vampire or not, Delilah with use the resources she has to gain control back in her life.

I liked this sequel but I didn’t really enjoy it as much as I did the first. The author repeated a lot of the tropes she used in the first book so a lot of surprise I felt in the first book were not there when I encountered similar situations in this second book. Over all I think Delilah was a decent character but I feel like she was too impulsive which wound her up in more dangerous situations than if she worked through things with Christian or even talking with Lucianna and Embry. I was a little invested in the relationship but I really appreciated some of the choices Delilah made in the final few chapters. I’d be interested in seeing what happens in book three but not sure how quickly I would get to it.

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2)Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Master Christian Tuscano is the head of the Tuscano house and he has a score to settle, someone kidnapped the woman he wants to be his mate, Delilah and he wants answers as to the who and why, so he goes to the only source they currently have and treats them the same way they treated the woman he loves and it was shamefully and a way that nobody should ever be treated. As he gets the answers he wants, he thinks about Delilah and how her experience has changed her, how the light has gone from her eyes and she is just a muted version of her once bubbly self, however, when he returns home to find that she has gone and only left him a letter, he is enraged and worried that something else will happen to her.

Meanwhile, Delilah is making her way to find the person responsible for her kidnapping and degradation, however she wants to keep herself and her whereabouts from Christian so that she can do something by herself for once, but this plan backfires when despite her best efforts. He is going out of his mind with worry, so Christian has called in some help and found where Delilah is and just in the nick of time when someone else bursts in on the same scene to take the person she is meeting out and she has been caught in the crossfire, so just before her life ebbs away, permission is granted to turn her and allow her to become a vampire and not just be with one.

While the attack left Delilah in a precarious situation, the person they are all after manages to escape, so the hunt is on again, however, keeping Delilah safe and secure is harder than ever when she transitions and her new powers come to the fore and some shifters come after her and while a precarious deal is struck with the syndicate to take the bounty off of their heads in return for them being given the troublemaker once the Consulate have gleaned all the information they can out of them. The shifters are not the only ones after her though and new information comes to light which casts a shadow on everything Delilah knows and trusts involving a coven of witches, but will she be able to do what she needs to do and also be accepted by the rest of the Consulate, or will she have to leave everything she wants behind to protect the one she loves? Will Christian be able to help Delilah to overcome her trauma and teach her to accept her new life, or will one of the groups after them get to their target before they do? This is a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs with a romantic twist throughout, where secrets and lies abound to weave a twisted tapestry of truths which will hook you in from start to finish.

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate #2) by Sylvia Black

This is the second book I’ve read by Black. This is also the second book in the Master of the Consulate Series. It does need to be read in order, although it’s about a different master.

Christian is one of the Masters and he is getting his revenge for his mate. When she needs to be turned because she is injured he does it. They go through more than enough challenges. The quote I chose for Christian is: “Very well, but the next time you feel that need is so great, you are going to harness it, and I am going to teach you how to do exactly that.”

Delilah wasn’t exactly ready to become a vampire. Or so she thought. Once it happens she finds that people who took her in may be the reason she got kidnapped. The quote I chose for Delilah is: “Traitor shifters! The vampires have never done anything but respect your place in the universe, and for this, you repay us this way?”

Highly recommended for Dark Vampire lovers.

Quick and interesting read with just a hint of spice. The three main women in the story were great characters to follow as they are all independent, self sufficient, and strong which I always love to see in book. I especially enjoyed the little bits I got to see of Embry. I did feel as though the plot was resolved too quickly and nicely. I think more could have been done as there was so much build up. The romance could have used more development as well, I would have loved to see more intimate moments between the two MCs. In general, enjoyable read, and will likely read again. Keeping my eyes open for the next in series to hopefully get more of Embry. I enjoyed her spunk!

Sylvia Black is at it again with Master Tuscano(Masters of the Consulate book 2. Character development is well written especially since there are lots of characters to follow. Unfortunately, though I have a lot of love for Overmaster Salvatore Descallia, I don’t care for Christian Tuscano.
Christian is a hot head vampire who has a tendency to break the rules of the Consulate, especially with Delilah at his side. I didn’t care for her at 1st as well, but she started to grow on me as I continued to read. I’m hoping as the next books are released, that Delilah has enough impact on Christian to change my views on him.
Just because I don’t like Christian, doesn’t mean you won’t! Also doesn’t mean it takes away from how I felt about the novel in general.
I really enjoy the world Sylvia Black has created and I love forward to the next book releases for The Masters of the Consulate Series. If you like vampires, mystery, some suspense, with a little romance thrown in, these books are DEFINITELY FOR YOU!

This was a great 5 star read. I was excited to get the 2nd book in the Masters of Consulate series. I think this may be my favorite so far in the series.

Christian is in love with Delilah. He was put in a tough predicament when she was left for dead. Not wanting to lose her, he made her immortal. Now he’s trying to keep that love stronger than ever. Delilah is a very strong and determined woman, she puts herself in danger when she decides to seek revenge. You can feel the love these two have coming off the pages.

My only disappointment is that I have yet to read book 1 of this series. Fast-paced, action-packed, and riveting are all adjectives used to describe this book. I love a heroine that does not sit and twiddle her thumbs in a corner waiting for ‘Prince Charming’ to come to rescue her. Don’t get me wrong; I do appreciate a take-charge hero as much as the next person. However, a woman that stands up and takes charge of her life and destiny is something worth writing home about; simply put Delilah is a badass. This is not the typical vampire romance novel; Sylvia brings an original and refreshing perspective to their lifestyle. I immensely enjoyed reading and recommend this book.

Master Descallia (Masters of the Consulate Book 1) by Sylvia Black – Review by Beverly Finnie

Descallia: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 1)Descallia: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve always had an obsession with vampires, and Master Descallia: Masters of the Consultant by Sylvia Black did not let me down. Instead had me lusting after Salvatore’s dominance as the Overlord. I couldn’t begin to tell you how much I loved him and his character development.
We find Salvatore headed to Las Vegas to investigate disappearances of women that could cause a massive war if pinned on the vampire community. Within his investigation he crosses paths with Lucianna, a mortal that intrigues him.
Lucianna, who has a gift of sight, uses that in her job as police officer to help solve cases. Lucianna has been assigned to Descallia Resort to go undercover to retrieve information. When she crosses paths with Salvatore Descallia himself, she’s drawn to him, and can even penetrate his thoughts if he doesn’t put up a block.
A paranormal romance filled with quite a bit of suspense as well as some humor. If you enjoy Vampires and you enjoy romance novels, invite you to dive in and be just as captivated by Master Descallia as I am!

Master Tuscano (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) by Sylvia Black – review by Jules Herbert

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2)Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) had me hooked from the first sentence. Sylvia Black won me over with the first book in this series and she now has me totally hooked and waiting not so patiently for more.

This book truly has it all…Vampires, Witches, Shifters, Action, Hot Romance, Revenge and plenty of Drama along the way. The love and devotion between Christian and Delilah, their bond and need to love and protect each other is wonderfully written into these characters and shines through even while dealing with so much going on around them.

This series is truly not to be missed…get reading today!!
