Unmasking a Cowgirl is a fun, small-town romance story. It is the third book in the Match Made in Montana Series. This book can be read as a stand-alone story. Abby Whit is hiding a secret. She is not being completely honest about who she is. Joe Staunch is the town historian and is determined to discover what is happening with Abby. Of course, there is chemistry between the two, and they don’t quite like each other. This a clean and easy-to-read, enemies-to-lover type romance. The story is sweet and the characters are fun. I enjoyed Abby’s no-nonsense attitude. I grew to love Joe and the other characters. The plot moves smoothly. This is quite a fast read and it doesn’t waste time drawing you into the story. I will be checking out the other books in this series.

This is the third book in the Match Made in Montana series, and it is just as wonderful as the previous books! Although I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series, you can definitely read this as a standalone without any confusion at all. Our two main characters, Joe and Abby, are incredibly well-developed. The palpable tension between them creates a compelling love/hate dynamic that kept me engaged to the very last page. Abby has a heavy secret which creates a strong emotional core to the narrative. The pacing is well-balanced, and the secondary characters enrich the small-town atmosphere. Overall, this is a charming read that captures the essence of love in the face of secrets. If you enjoy a clean romance full of love blossoming amidst misunderstandings and hidden identities, this book will not disappoint.

An enjoyable and engaging enemies to lovers western style romance. Joe is a teacher and amateur historian in the small town of Herd, in Montana. Ever since food truck owner Abby arrived in town Joe has had the feeling that she’s lying about her identity. Abby does in deed have a secret as she settled in Herd under an alias. Abby is actually the descendant of the infamous Whittier family and time is running out for her to claim her property. She’s worried this will destroy not only her life in the town but also her new relationship. The small town of Herd came vividly to life through the descriptive narrative as did the wonderful mix of locals. The chemistry between Joe and Abby came across in the story and I liked how their slow burn romance developed.

If you are looking for a small-town, cowboy romance complete with secrets, deceit, and bison then this is the book for you! I really enjoyed Abby and Joe as individual characters but when they got together…WHEW! You could cut that tension with a knife! This is definitely a slow-burn, clean romance with a lot of lovable side characters. This is the 3rd installment in the Match Made in Montana series but you can read it as a standalone (I did). I can’t wait to go back and read the other two and catch up on the characters I missed. I love Campbell’s writing style and the way she develops her characters and plot line. This is the third book in the series and can be read as a stand alone or in any order in the series as each book follows a different couple. This is a slow burn romance that builds throughout the book. This book had me going through so many emotions while reading it. There is this tension in the book that you can feel while reading it. There is the push and pull in the beginning because both of the characters really didn’t like each other. So there is the simmer or romance building right from the start. The characters grow on you as you read the story. I wasn’t sure I was going to like either one of them right at the start but boy am I glad that I kept reading because I sure did really end up liking the strong personality of Abby. Joe took a little time to grow on me as a great character but by the end of the book, I felt like I could be his friend. Some secrets come out in the book and that is the catapult of the story line. I feel that the book is a quick read and could be read in one day. I like that it was a quick read because the story line continued to flow easily. There didn’t seem to be a lot of extra fluff and it didn’t feel like it dragged on. This book was a really good read and I highly recommend it. Reviewed by: @bbohls

Abby has a secret the whole town is about to find out about. Her ancestor just happens to be the villain in all the stories of the town’s founding. Joe has spent the last several years delving into the history of Herd and feels like he has a good handle on what happened all those years ago, but he is missing something. He does not like Abby from the moment he meets her. There is a vibe that she is not being completely honest about who she is. When Joe is proven right in that Abby was in fact hiding who she truly was, is it too late to get her side of the story? Has his animosity toward her pushed her too far? Will she stick it out in Herd and prove that she is more than her ancestor’s mistakes?
I enjoyed this story. The characters in Herd depict small town living at its best and worst. Everyone knows everyone else’s business and they are loyal to a fault. However, betray that trust and instantly a person can be shut out. I found Abby learning the hard way, because she never stuck around long enough anywhere to have to fight for her right to stay, to be inspiring. I appreciated the way that Joe found his victory to be hollow and needed to reevaluate himself to find that he was at fault and also culpable in how the town responded. Of course, it would have been nice if he had realized it sooner, but then there wouldn’t be this fun book to read! I will miss reading about Herd, Montana and secretly hope that there are more books!!

But what has Abby been hiding? And what happens when secrets are revealed? Add some tension, emotion, and intrigue- and this small-town romance just got a whole lot more interesting. Unmasking A Cowgirl is Book 3 in the Match Made in Montana series….this is a enemies to lovers, small town slow burn clean romance with secrets, tension, drama. Overall an enjoyable story and while this could be read as a stand-alone, I do recommend reading this series in orders and get to know the characters as they are entwined. One of my favorite tropes is enemies to lovers and I love that this story of Joe and Abby delivered….although Joe was not my favorite character at first.
Abby is holding a secret and feels once it is know and out she feels like she will have so many people upset with her. Joe is trying to find out whom Abby is all about….and is distant and a bit gruff at times. When secrets are revealed will the attraction between Abby and Joe be able to overcome this obstacle…or will Abby have to leave Herd, Montana…..
This is a very good story and my favorite so far in this series. I am looking forward to the next book!!

3 – 3.5 stars Rachelle’s Unmasking A Cowgirl is the third book in the Match Made in Montana series. It is a sweet slow-burn romance set in a small town where everyone knows everyone. Joe was one character that I disliked at first, but he did redeem himself later in the book, but Abby gave him his just deserts and it was unexpected but when she did it I felt vindicated. You go girl. The tension between the two is palpable. Unmasking A Cowgirl is a clean western enemy to lover’s romance trope one where trust is everything. Tension runs high in this drama filled tale as Abby is hiding behind a lie that could tear it all apart. Hiding who she is but why? Joe knows there is something about this beautiful woman that doesn’t sit right but what is she hiding? What is it about her that makes him dislike her so? What will he do when he uncovers her secret? Only reading the book will give these answers. There are no spills here.

This book is the third book in the series and is another great addition that complements the other books. This book is one of my favourite tropes – enemies to lovers – and I found it really easy to connect with this book from the moment I started reading. I thought the characters were such interesting ones to read about, and probably my favourite ones of the series so far. The book is really well written and exactly what I have come to expect from this author. It was engaging and an overall great story. This series is one I won’t hesitate to read more of and I am definitely looking forward to exploring more from this author. This is a thoroughly enjoyable book that I would recommend.

This is book 3 of the series, while I have not read the other books in this series I wasn’t completely lost in the characters. This book was slow for me to get into. I could tell from the beginning there was definitely something between Abby and Joe. (Enemies turned Lovers trope) Seeing the way the town snubbed Abby was disheartening but I can also see why it happened. In small towns that can happen anywhere. Definitely a good clean romance novel for ones who don’t enjoy any spicy context. I think I’ll read the previous books also to see just how everyone got together.

I have so lloved this series. This one so kind of cracked me up. John was a bit of a jerk, quite frankly. When she kneed him, I evil laughed. Got what was coming to him. Otherwise, I really enjoyed watching this relationship develop. Man, two people that really needed to accept the attraction. Though, she really needed to come clean. I loved seeing characters from the previous two books brought in and it was wonderful to see how the story just tied everything all together. There was such a nice flow. It’s one of my favorite series. I hope to read more from this author.

Having been at a funeral the day before starting this read I think emotions were still very high but reading what Adelaide had to go through with her mother in jaw and so called best friend had me sick to the pit of my stomach and what little I knew of her and Scott at the time I think he would’ve been mortified , I’m sorry sorry Adelaide 😭😭🤗
So Adelaide buys an old run down farmhouse in a small town called Williwbrook Lake and yes it’s falling apart but I’m already in love with it and the town 🤣🥰and it seems Adelaide has found her people …. So a few chapters in and already I knew this was going to be one of my favourite reads for the year ! I settled in with a chai latte (Adelaide had he craving for one ) and got lost in a beautiful read
Adelaide is a gentle soul and the town has fallen in love with and it’s mutual she’s really found home and her people and she deserves a second chance at happiness ….🥰
Then there’s little Nora 🐾❣️🐱the little furry feline that steals Adelaide’s heart and I’m a firm believer that the way a person treats an animal speaks volumes of their character and Adelaide has a pure heart , a kind and sincere soul , I’d like to claim her as my new bestie 🥰🤣😉and let’s not forget Kane and Stella 🐾I looked up their breed and they’re huge! But they’re really loveable 🐶🐾🥰
Owen’s bark is worse than his bite he just wants to come across as gruff and uninterested but he’s just a real old teddy bear and Adelaide got under his skin that first day she nearly caused an accident ….. when he allows to help with the renovations he’s always patient with her , he cares about her well being and safety and he’s almost always around when she needs him … if she wasn’t going to take him I was going to 🤣🙈🥰 as much as he wants her he respects her loss and that makes me love him even more , these 2 belong together and I’m sorry she had to go through such a heartache to find her HEA 🥰

I knew when I finished book 1 in the series that I was going to want to read more about this town and the people living in it. Honestly, I really wanted to read more about Hank, he is my favorite. Being introduced to Ted some and the mentioning of Stephanie in book one had me feeling already a little comfortable with them and definitely interested in seeing more. I love that Joe & Abby are still a topic of conversation in this book with their love/hate relationship and that Hank is so invested in playing the town matchmaker. There is definitely a benefit reading the first book, but I don’t think it would be too confusing as a standalone. I look forward to reading more about Herd and of course, Hank.

I haven’t read to many country cowboy romance books, but I’m glad that I gave this one a chance. It was cute and funny and all the things you think of when you think country romance. Ted, who is a lead cowboy for a local ranch has settled in Montana after the loss of his wife. Not looking for much more than something to keep him busy and away from the pain, he settles into a new life she didn’t expect to permanent. He always thought he would move on. When he meets Stephanie, a yoga instructor, kindergarten teacher, event planner, and community volunteer he starts to feel that maybe he can love again. But he’s her boss. And then she’s his niece’s teacher. Plus he’s way to old for her. Right? Stephanie has a major crush on Ted, but she knows she just has to get over it. She can barley even talk around him! When she’s around him she becomes a whole other person. One that can’t talk or communicate. When Ted’s sister leaves his niece with him with just about no warning he enlists Stephanie’s help with Maddy. Spending extra time with her is just a bonus. Things heat up for Stephanie when a parent starts to cause trouble and an emergency has everyone looking at life and figuring out what they all want. This book was so good!!! I loved all the ranch stuff and I think that it’s super cute that the kindergarten teacher is falling in love! I won’t give away anything, but I personally really liked the book. Grab it! You will love it too!!

This is the second book in the Match Made in Montana series, and it was wonderful! This can be read as a standalone and not be lost whatsoever, but you’ll want to pick up the rest of the series anyways because the author has an amazing writing style. I found that this slow burn really tugged at my heart and found the characters relatable. Ted is a gentlemanly cowboy working at the Kincaid Ranch, but he’s also a bit of a grump. Stephanie seems like a bit of a workaholic, but she just likes to be busy. She’s a take charge person who says what’s on her mind…unless she’s around Ted. She’s got a crush on him and loses all words when he’s around. I loved the two of them together with their chemistry as well as getting to know them independently. Even though this is an age gap, I feel like the author didn’t solely focus on the numbers which helped build the story more for me. I cannot wait to continue this series!

Another great read in this series! While this is the second book, it can be read as a standalone as it focuses on a different set of people. There are appearances from book 1 in the series though so you can continue to catch up on their lives too!
This is an age gap romance that is a very slow burn, yet tender. Stephanie has had a crush on Ted for a long time now. Ted’s a little sweet on Stephanie but he’s afraid that he’d be rejected because of the age difference.
This story reminded me a little bit of my own love story. My hubby and I have a significant age gap in years and we were both fearful of the other’s feelings about that at first.
I look forward to more great stories by this author!

I’ve read the previous book in this series and this second one did not disappoint! Great storyline, relatable characters as well as their situations, and clean type affection is what to expect from this story as well! Continuing the stories of those from Kincaid Ranch, this story focuses on Ted and Stephanie. Ted, older and experienced, has been helping at the ranch for quite some time now seeking a new beginning. His mindset is strictly working life. When his family come to visit him along with his five year old niece, he realizes he’s got his hands full and reaches out for help from Stephanie, a much younger teacher, has been attracted to Ted for the last couple of years but ends up being such a nervous wreck around him. I do enjoy reading romance stories with age gaps and especially this being a clean romance can focus on the possibility of physical attraction and deeper emotions.

This is a age gap small town romance with some drama and definite slow burn….Catch A Cowboy is Book 2 of the Match Made in Montana series. While this book would be read as a stand alone, I do recommend reading the series from the beginning as characters are intertwined. I did enjoy the story of Stephanie and Ted….I was hoping for a bit more “feels” that I love of romance when two people whom are meant to be together.
Ted Stirling is definitely not looking for love. He works at the Kincaid Ranch…….cowboy life. Ted never expects to be anything more than just friends with Stephanie Patricks, who is working as a kindergarten teacher at the local school. When Ted’s sister is asked to help with his niece while she packs up her life and move back home with him….it can be a big adjustment for Ted to care for his niece in her mothers temporary absence. Stephanie has had her eyes on Ted for quite a long time, but feels he does not have the same feelings like she does. Teaching at the local school, Stephanie is nurturing and caring toward her students and when Ted’s niece comes to class as a new student, makes her feel welcomed. Things get a bit hairy with timing, Stephanie helps Ted when she can to make a smooth transition for his niece.
As Ted and Stephanie get to know each other, sometimes the past holds them back and constant thoughts on their age gap…..but when an emergency occurs…will Ted see his feelings and what his heart wants with Stephanie…..
Definitely read and find out. This is a good story and I am looking to see what is next in this series,

Catch A Cowboy by Rachelle Paige Campbell is the second book in the Match Made in Montana series, and a cute, romantic, and fun read. Ted settled in Montana after losing his wife and is not looking for anything outside of friendship. Stephanie has had a crush on Ted for so long but when she is around him, she gets so nervous. When Teds sister comes to town with his niece, Stephanie is the one person he needs to help. Can these two get past what they need to find each other? I loved this slow burn read. The chemistry that Ted and Stephanie have is so apparent as you read the story. I was able to get this read done in one sitting and wished it could have been longer, I truly loved the story and also loved that the characters from book one made an appearance!

Ted works at the Kincaid Ranch is grumbling around the ranch happy in his job but not too interest in romance. Although there is one person who might break his grump, Stephanie.
Stephanie has always had a soft spot for Ted, but when ever she is around him she becomes a blubbering wreck, but when Ted’s sister arrives and she is asked to help with Maddie his niece can he truly see her or will there combined heartache hinder them finding each other.
This is the second book in the series and although this can be read as a stand alone story there are some cross over with the first story. I love the slow burn as with the first book and Ted and Stephanie are the great together and although at first that Ted is against the attraction as of the age gap but as the story goes on and his niece who he is besotted with captures Stephanie’s heart aswell the chemistry then jumps of the page and has you delving into the story.
The way the characters are weave through the story is just brilliant and the secondary characters add to the twists and turns of the book.
I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

This author is a talented writer who presents her readers with great wholesome romances that should be read and enjoyed if you love cowboys and western/small town themes. This particular book is a clean, slow burn romance and an age gap story featuring a grumpy thorny cowboy and a light and sunshine younger kindergarten teacher. Both have things in their past that have effected them and that helps shape their stories.

Another enjoyable and engaging story in this series of standalone novels. Kincaid Ranch’s lead cowboy, Ted Stirling settled in Herd, Montana following a devastating loss over ten years ago. He’s not looking for love but if he was then he would choose kindergarten teacher, Stephanie Patricks, but she is much younger than him. Stephanie has a crush on Ted and gets nervous around him, but when he needs help with his five year old niece, she is happy to help. When an emergency occurs it makes Ted realise how fragile life is and that he needs to decide if he’s willing to give love a second chance, with Stephanie. This is a sweet, heartwarming, clean romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Stephanie and Ted are likeable and relatable characters and I loved how their slow burn romance developed throughout the story.

I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into this ! I love the first book and I already missed Hank and Colby 🥰😉
So it was good to catch up with Meg , Ryan , Colby and Hank , but this time it’s about Ted and Stephanie 😉
So as we all know Ted works for the Kinkaid’s and he’s a quiet man , he goes about his life and tasks and keeps very much to himself . Summer is coming to an end and he realises he’s sad to see Stephanie go , she’s a teacher by trade and a yoga instructor in the summer , she’s a sweet gentle soul , a real ray of sunshine but he’s older than her and feels she needs more but resisting her becomes harder when his sister and niece pitch up and Stephanie steps up in so many ways to help with “ Squirrel” not only as her teacher but as a friend …..
Stephanie is a real honey and she deserves happiness and I just love the way she swoons over Ted 🥰she’s got a big heart and she doesn’t deserve the nasty treatment she get from Candace , even when she was warned against her she kept a kind word towards her but Candace is vindictive , nasty and a bully and it’s sad because her little girl in watching her and mirroring her behaviour 😢so enough about and her let’s focus on the important people and their beautiful hearts ….
Ted has his heartache and I get it was hard for him to let go and love again and this makes me love him even more , he dotes on maddy ( squirrel) and his sister , family is important , he’s got a brilliant work ethic , a love for animals and you can tell alit of s man’s character by the way they treat an animal 🥰😉🐾 Stephanie is lucky to have him , it goes both ways though 😉
Stephanie helps where she can and who she can , she shares info willingly and I think that came in handy with Meg and big ideas 🤩she’s kind , loving , humble , genuine and generous and I’m grateful her life is enriched with a loving man 🥰
I love being in Herd and can’t wait for my next visit 🥰 and being part of the unmasking of a cowgirl 😉❣️📚
