This is a new series for me and I gotta say I really enjoyed it. Reaper is the president of the MC club, he falls for her the moment he sees her for the first time but she’s married. Her husband is a bad guy, he is abusive and an Alcoholic. Ava ends up contacting her sister who is connected to the club and that is how she and reaper collide. This time he is determined to keep her and not let her go. Such a really good read, definitely going to read the next book.

This was my first read by Bianca Lee Ward, but it is certainly not going to be the last. Reaper is the first installment of the War Brothers MC series, and it’s off to a great start! I really enjoyed the amount of action, chemistry and steam that comes with many MC stories. It starts off a little slow, but don’t toss it aside because it really picks up. Once you get a bit invested, you’ll breeze through it and want even more! I think the author did great on the flow of the story even though it starts off slow. It may just have been an off day for me, but it absolutely captivated me after a while, and now I can’t wait for the second book in the series. If you love the dangerous, steamy action of the MC genre, you will fall in love with this one!

A captivating MC romance which had me hooked from page one. Reaper is the president of the War Brothers Motorcycle Club, and when Ava, the one women he’s ever wanted, turns up at his clubhouse seeking refuge from her abusive husband he’s not going to let her go again. Reaper is angered by the bruises on Ava’s face but also by the fear in her eyes, however, as an ex special forces sniper he’s used to hunting down evil men. Reaper avoids relationships due to the wounds he has left over from his sniper days, which are more than skin deep, but when he finds Ava in his bedroom he’s determined not to make the same mistake twice. He let her go once before because she was married and so didn’t belong to him, but now she does. As Reaper and Ava’s relationship develops they have to deal with her dangerous husband, the jealous women in the club, and then an enemy the MC didn’t see coming. This is a slow burn romance which introduces us to Reaper and Ava, who’s chemistry really comes across in the narrative. The storyline is full of drama, suspense and romance whilst dealing with the difficult subject of domestic violence sensitively. The descriptive narrative really brought the world of the War Brothers MC, and it’s members vividly to life, making me feel immersed in the story and engaged with the characters. I look forward to the other members getting their own stories.

At the wedding for one of his War Brothers MC brothers, Reaper sees the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with, Ava. Ava though is married and as much Reaper senses that not all is as it seems, Reaper lets her go. A year later Ava has contacted her sister who is married to Axle and needs help, she has been beaten and looking to get away from her marriage. Reaper lets her stay with the MC but he also takes his time to earn her trust, could she accept him in her life when she is ready to move on?
I thought this was a great beginning to a new series. Action packed, great characters for future books. Ava grows strong in this book and takes charge of her life, had some funny moments too.

I love it when I find a new authors work to read and I was so impressed by this book! MC stories are one of my favourite to read, I love an alpha male and the MC alpha males always seem to be the best – super protective and loyal! Reaper was no exception to this rule – I knew as soon as I started to read about him I was going to love his character. There was such a great connection between him and Ava and I was completely rooting for them the whole way through. I liked that their romance was a slow burn one I think it suited them. I thought this this was a great start to a new series and I’m looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

What a great start to what I hope will become an amazing series for this wonderful author. Reaper and Ava are fantastic characters with an amazing connection right from the very start. I truly could not put this down until I was finished reading every creative word! Reaper captured my heart from the very beginning and I just knew he would be the man for Ava. I loved the other characters just as much and I am really hoping they get their stories told too. I will definitely be watching for more from this talented author.

Oh my lanta. THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING. Ava slayed her part in the story and honestly where has this author been all my life. This book was a heck of a kick off for a series and I CANNOT wait to see where she takes it from here because I wholly consumed this book from start to finish and it will be a hard one to top. Where do I even start, the dynamic between characters? AMAZING. The story line? Too good. It was just so well written, laid out perfectly and flowed like a rushing river. Read it. Then read it again because it really is dang good!!!

This is a fantastic MC story, which really pulled me in right from the start. I loved the story and I loved the characters. Their chemistry was undeniable and only seemed to grow with each page. This book.had everything I like from this kind of story. It was riveting, intense and so well written. This is new author to me and I couldn’t have wanted a better introduction. This is a fantastic story that I would highly recommend.

Where can I start. I absolutely adore MC romance story’s. The mixture of strong protective men with the element of danger is always a winner for me. This romance is a slow burn which I enjoyed because it gave me the opportunity to get to know the characters in a more deeper way. And with everything that Ava went through it makes sense that Reaper wouldn’t want to rush things or make a move to quick. One thing I did feel a bit strange about is it feels like the second book as Ava and Reaper meet at Axle and Elena’s wedding so maybe we will get their story at a later date. As with all good MC romances our hero has a back story and Reaper is no exception, he has scars from past relationships and keeps his distance from women until he meets Ava. This is one woman he is prepared to protect at all costs. Ava fled to the MC club after her husband abused her. Battered and broken physically, emotionally and mentally she is trying to rebuild her life but her husband is always lurking in the shadows. Is she really save at the MC Club? Will anyone there care if her husband finds her? And why does she feel drawn to and safe when she is with Reaper.

Reaper is a very fun and easy read. Once you start reading, you can’t stop. The characters are very well portrayed and complement each other. The story does flow well and is easy to follow. I like how the main characters develop from their weak selves to get to their strong self.

This is the first novel I have read in a long time that has titles on each chapter. I did not realize that the books I previously read did not have titles on the chapters until I started reading this one and I cannot believe how much I miss that! Just something that small and insignificant that made a big difference in my reading.
Reaper and Ava are two amazing characters. The strength and resilience that Ava has is inspiring. I work with victims of crime every day and Ava’s domestic violence situation does not go unnoticed. The victim blaming makes me irate and is something I deal with daily. This is not your standard MC book, but I still really enjoyed it. It was fast paced and easy to read. I highly recommend!

This high adrenaline series starter is fantastic. There are so many characters that you are introduced to that you almost can’t pick a favorite. I can’t wait to read Bomber’s second chance at love.
Ava is a good girl. She has always done what her parents wanted. She married the man they picked out for her. She lived with his abuse for years. Ava’s husband slowly took everything away from her. When Ava decided she had enough, she ran to the only place she could think of, her sister and the MC where her brother-in-law was a member.
Reaper was the president of War Brothers MC. It and his brothers were what he called home. He protected both at all costs. Reaper had seen her at Elena’s wedding. They shared a brief moment before the husband came over and interrupted. Now she, Ava, was at his clubhouse, beaten, bruised, shell-shocked, and seeking refuge from the husband. This meant danger. The husband wanted to get her back. That didn’t seem to be all that was brewing on the horizon.
There are many unanswered questions that I am sure are part of the series story line. I can’t wait to find out how they develop as this series goes on. I am a sucker for a good MC series. Looks like I might have my next MC family. I will throw on my cut and ride along! Fabulous start!!

This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed her writing skills as well as her attention to details. This is a second chance MC romance story that is well written and engaging. The characters are relatable and pulled me into the story from the beginning. They are supportive, steamy and bring life to the story. I enjoyed the details that the author used to make the story realistic. I had no problems picturing myself in their world This is a fast paced, hard to put down story that you don’t want to miss. I enjoyed the suspense added to the romance in this story and made it even better. What will happen to Ava and will she get her happily ever after this time around? You don’t want to miss this story for sure. I highly recommend this book.

Reaper is the first book in the War Brothers MC series by Bianca Lee Ward. It is a slow burn MC romance- a bit of a romantic suspense with drama, danger, action, violence, chemistry, sizzle, MC culture/lifestyle, brothers-in-arms, friendship, family, banter, humour, emotion, and more. The story does contain sensitive topics that could trigger some readers: themes such as manipulation, mental health issues, domestic violence, trauma, sociopathic behaviour, violence, and abuse, to name a few- so if you have any of these triggers, then this probably isn’t the book for you. This is a short engrossing read that was a little slow to get going, but once I got in the groove, I was hooked and easily finished the book in a couple of hours. Although I did feel like the ending felt rushed. But these didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of the book. We meet Reaper who is the President of the War Brothers MC. He is a battle-scarred veteran who carries quite a lot of baggage. He has been besotted with Ava since he first met her- but she belonged to someone else. Now, she needs help, which is he’s happy to provide. Soon, the sparks fly, and things get complicated- and so the story takes an intriguing turn. Add some danger, tension, and steam- and we get an engrossing read. Bring on Book #2- Bomber….. Looks set to be another great read. Happy Reading…

I have always loved the “second chance” trope and this feels a bit like that. Ava meets Reaper at a wedding, but Ava is married already. To an abusive husband. Man, the story just takes off. I was hooked and stayed up way too late reading. I loved the secondary characters as well. Can’t wait to read Bomber’s story. Loved the world the author created. Great job with the emotions of Ava’s story especially at the beginning. I was on the edge of my seat in one scene!

Reaper is the first book in the War Brothers MC Series and is a MC Romance that is fast paced and hard to put down until you finish. This is a new to me author and I’m definitely interested in what else they’ve written. I’m a sucker for MC Romance and this one checked all the boxes, bad boy bikers, drama, revenge, action Romance and more. Ava and Reaper meet at Ava’s sister’s wedding and the moment he seen her he felt something he’d never felt before. He knew something seemed off about her husband couldn’t shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen. Ava ends up at the War Brothers MC with her sister to stay for a bit while she figures things out. You don’t want to miss what happens next, I highly recommend reading this book. I don’t want to give anything away. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series. I’m really hoping they all get there own book.

This book sucked me in right from the start. I found myself enthralled with Ava’s journey as she starts her new life with the MC. Even though it’s a slow burn, the book is a super quick read and goes by fast! There are certain characters that have a special place in my heart, and if you’re someone who enjoys MC books, then I definitely recommend this one! Give it a shot!

A slow burn romance with not your ordinary MC characters that you get in most other reads. It was a quick, but good read. I did not want to put it down. I needed to know what would happen next for Ava. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and cannot wait to pick up the next book in the series.
It focuses on the relationship between Reaper and Ava. Reaper is the President of the War Brothers MC. Ava’s sister Elena is getting married to one of the MC members, Axle. It is at this wedding that the pair have a brief encounter. It is not until a year later when Ava is brought to the clubhouse covered in bruises by her husband that she is running from that the pair meet again. Already let go once Reaper won’t let that happen again.

Reaper is the first book of the War Brothers MC series. I will say that this dark MC romance book could be triggering to those who are affected by themes of domestic violence as this is portrayed in this book. There is also plenty of suspense, violence and romance.
The author had a wonderful style of writing – it flowed well, and they were able to creative vivid imagery with the descriptive language used. I enjoyed the way on which the author portrayed the motorcycle club loyalties and the culture there is within the group. There is of course illegal activity taking place, but the brotherhood and sense of family is clear in their writing. It is a lot bigger than just criminals running around on motorbikes. There’s more to the club and the characters involved than you may have originally thought. Another aspect I thought was written well was the portrayal of the domestic violence. The dangers that are faced and the manipulation that goes with it which I think is often forgotten in literature. The effects had on the character and how this bleeds into other aspects of their life was done so well.
I absolutely loved Reaper and Ava – they are both incredibly strong characters fighting to overcome their individual traumas and finding themselves (and each other). I loved how they supported each other and made each other stronger for it. (And honestly, who wouldn’t want their own Reaper?!) I hope to get to know more about other characters in the book as the series progresses and seeing how they evolve and develop in their own books.
It was a brilliant first book to get roped into and I look forward to being able to get my hands on the next book!

I was so excited to read about the Alpha men in a MC protecting a woman who needs it. This had so much potential but fell flat for me. It all felt rushed and the romance made no sense and lacked chemistry. I cant tell you one reason why these two fell for each other than lust. He sees her once and its love at first sight (which i didnt buy) and then she takes a while to come around and open up but i just did not get their relationship. He does the same things her ex did but under the name of protecting her. I will say he clearly had better intentions than her ex but i was longing for the romance between them and i got nothing. I enjoyed the side characters although it did feel like this should not have been the first book in the series. There were a lot of people, relationships and dynamics referenced as if we should know what the story was and I just felt a little lost. I would have liked more back story on the couple who get married in the beginning of the book who is the sister of the main character and close friend and MC member of the male main character. I also did not feel the sisterly love between the two sisters it felt awkward and like they hadnt really had a relationship until now which left me confused. I did enjoy the climax and drama at the end but that still did not give this story what i needed to fully enjoy it. Hoping the rest of the books are longer and with more details of the important things.

Reaper is book one in the War Brothers MC series by Bianca Lee Ward. This book was really good and captivating from the start. I found myself on edge more often than not. Although it was considered a slow burn romance wise, SO MUCH happened throughout this book. I loved getting to know the men in the MC. Each of their personalities shown without overpowering the main characters. Ava is so incredibly strong even though she thinks she’s weak. The bravery she exemplifies and how she loves to take care of people who are important to her is amazing. Reaper is your typical biker, but I loved also seeing his soft side. The chemistry between the pair is so strong from the start. I loved it. I cannot wait to read book two when it comes out! Especially since it’s about the elusive member of the club!

I don’t know why I don’t read more of this type of book because I always end up really enjoying them. Reaper was definitely one of the great ones, I couldn’t put it down. It devoured me heart and soul. I finished it in two days, but found myself wishing that I had taken my time, or that the book had been longer. Like a few other reviewers mentioned there weren’t a lot of chapters from Reapers point of view and I would have loved to hear more from him. I don’t think anything was taken from the story because we didn’t though. Ava’s chapters were fully threshed out, built the scenes, the characters were well described, and contained all the information needed to further the story as the book was mostly centered on her. Reaper did include some sensitive topics like Domestic Violence, PTSD, Violence, and a gun battle, plus a scene concerning an animals welfare (Ava saves him and he’s ok after the other incident) it was all handled very tastefully. Reaper and all the other men in the club were sensitive, protective, and their alpha male personalities was just what Ava needed to feel safe and comfortable enough to come back to herself. I loved Ward’s writing and her ability to spin a story. I definitely see myself reading more from her including this series with book 2 about Bomber.

Alpha male, MC and Romance This is the first book in the War Brothers MC series and it was good. Really love the way it all played out and how the romance between Reaper and Ava wasn’t forced. I really want to see more of Elena and Axle’s story too. The author is very skilled at weaving an intricate web and hooking the reader in, I felt so vested in their relationship. Looking forward to book 2. Highly recommend.

I love me a good MC story and the protective alpha men the WAR BROTHERS MC drew me in. Reaper is the first book in the series, and it is a good start. I wish the story was longer. It is a short read, but I wanted more. It’s nice to see another Australian author coming into their own. This is the first book I have read by Bianca, and I am ready to dive in to the second book in this series as I fell in love with these men. Hell, I know these men. Reaper the pres of the War Brother’s MC is loving Ava from afar, from the moment she needed his protection she became his but their lives are complicated. Reaper and Ava’s story is an emotional one. Their romance is a slow burn, and I would have liked it to be a bit rawer and grittier with more steam and more hotness. I have is that I also felt like we missed out on so much more of Elena and Axle’s story. I loved the brothers of the MC their comradery, the respect, the love and humorous side of them. They cracked me up as much as they melted my heart. I am now off to read the second book. I can’t wait to see where Bianca takes these bikers and their stories.

Oh my goodness! This is one of the best MC books I’ve read this year. I’m going to rank it up there with my favorites, D.M. Earl and Manda Mallet. It’s a cleaner version of them and so dang good. I can’t tell you much because I feel it would be spoiler. I can tell you that the characters are outstanding. Reaper and Ava are so relatable. Ava goes through hell. The plot is fantastic and you just can’t put it down once you start. I had to read it straight through. It just grabs you. There is drama, romance and suspense. A definite must read. I’ll be eagerly awaiting book 2.

An emotional story not for the faint of heart. This one speaks to the heart and soul and turned me inside out page by page. Shadow is fierce and brave. Tormented by demons she can’t chain you will feel for her in all ways. Meeting Panther is a welcome Change although he has suffered as immensely as she. They however are kindred spirits and this is a journey that is just beginning. It’s no slow ride.

Wow. Just wow. If I thought I was emotionally invested in the first book, it has only intensified in this one.
My heart ached for Shadow and everything she had been through, but I could see how Shadow’s past shaped her and it gives me an even greater appreciation for her. The way that she fights hard for those who need it and her dedication to free those trapped as she was is heart-breaking, especially as her own mental wounds are still healing. I thought Shadow was portrayed very well, there was the right amount of balance between the trauma and recovery and the way she initially reacts to the character of Panther felt raw. She is such a strong character, I love her.
Panther is also a lovable character, his patience and support for Shadow makes him perfect for her as she tries to heal and move forward. He himself has his own healing to do and I think that helps him in understanding Shadow and her needs. He plays an important role in the book, not just as a love interest, but also in helping the women being trafficked. I enjoyed the pair’s dynamic, and their progression was realistic and relatable – I was rooting for their relationship the whole way through.
Another great book in this unique series. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!
I was hooked from the very beginning. I absolutely love the fact that the MC is all-women as it makes a refreshing change from the all-male MC novels I’ve read. But not only is it all-women, they’re dedicated to making a positive difference, taking down the human trafficking rings.
I love Tink, she is so relatable in that she wants to make a difference but has so many things going on, she’s feeling overwhelmed. I’ve certainly felt similar so her strength to persevere is very inspiring, even at the height of danger. Her strength in her struggles and her determination in helping others makes her a wonderful character to root for. I also liked Ellington and thought he was a great fit for Tink, and not only does his background assist in helping with the mission to bring down the traffickers, but it could also help him save Tink. I loved the way they came together and really enjoyed seeing their chemistry grow into something more.
The author’s writing style engaged me from the beginning and made the story easier to get lost in – the descriptions painted a vivid picture of the scenery and characters.
It’s clear that each woman of the MC has their own story and I hope to read more about them as the series progresses! I’m very happy that I found this series, the idea of the all-women MC is brilliant, but the fact they are all strong women doing good while being fierce bikers makes it even better. On to the next!
