Love is What You Bake of it (The Meraki Series Book 1) by Effie Kammenou – Review by Meg Tyrrell

Love is What You Bake of it (Meraki, #1)Love is What You Bake of it by Effie Kammenou
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I without a doubt LOVED this book. I cannot wait to read the next one. Effie Kammenou is a first time author for me on this book, she did AMAZING! It’s such a cute book and so sweet. I couldn’t get enough. I even showed my son there were recipe’s in my book and now we have to make some of them!
This is the story for Kally and Max, both characters were so well built, I felt like their friend :). Everyone in this book has their time to show personality and I couldn’t put it down. Kally is a pastry chef who wants nothing more in life than her dog Emma and her cafe. Max is a police man who just wants to start over in his hometown.
Will these two learn that they need each other, or ruin it with their pasts blocking their future? Read to find out what happens, I promise you won’t be disappointed. If I could give 10 stars this would have gotten them.

Who: A Stalker Series Novel by Megan Mitcham – Review by Meg Tyrrell

Who (Stalker, #1)Who by Megan Mitcham
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I’ve read from author Megan Mitcham, first in this series as well. I liked this book so much. It was a little slow going at first but i still couldn’t put it down. Loved the characters (Darren is my favorite!! Love him) This book kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more with every turn. I may have not read any Megan Mitcham before but I will absolutely read everything she writes from now on.
This story introduces Larkin, she’s our independent self made corporate business woman. She doesn’t take crap from anyone and doesn’t have time for any relationship besides her “girls”. We also get to meet Lucas, head of security. Douglas, her awesome and sweet driver and of course the girls, just to name a few. Find out in this story about how Larkin deals with everyone thinking they know best for her, and who’s out to get her!

Serenade by TK Lawyer – Review by Meg Tyrrell

SerenadeSerenade by T.K. Lawyer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is my first book by TK Lawyer, I knew I wanted to read it as soon as I saw there was a witch involved. I’m a sucker for a witch, and I’m not ashamed about it. This romantic book had me from the beginning. I had a hard time putting it down. Eva is by far one of my favorite characters and was wonderfully developed. Kingsley had me wishing I was more of a dog person, (haha) and I love how these two interact. Absolutely a must read for my paranormal readers out there and even those that don’t read this genre much. I can’t wait to read the next book and see where TK Lawyer goes with it. Will it be more Eva and Kingsley or other fantastic characters in this book? I’ll be ready!

Out Of The Shadows by Theresa Sederholt – Review by Meg Tyrrell

Out Of The ShadowsOut Of The Shadows by Theresa Sederholt
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a new author for me, and when I read the synopsis and reviews I knew I had to read it. Out Of The Shadows is written from Dane’s point of view. Which is normally not the POV you’re used to, and tells his story of living with an abusive wife who uses their son against him. I really loved this book as you don’t hear about men going through this very often, like you do women. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so hard at a book before. Theresa absolutely gives you ALL THE EMOTIONS. This story is well written and the characters are amazing. I can’t wait to read ANYTHING Theresa writes!

Mountains Series Boxed Set:(Books 1-3) By Phoebe Alexander – Review by Meg Tyrrell

Mountains Series Boxed Set: (Books 1-3)Mountains Series Boxed Set: by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Mountains Series Box Set includes the first three books of the amazing love story of Sarah and James. It’s a “military romance” but with very different twists and turns like I’ve never quite encountered within the same story and author. Normally to get this kind of steamy romance, I need a few different authors to surprise me but Phoebe DELIVERS. I absolutely LOVE this author and the fact that with every single book she had me blushing and looking around to see if anyone noticed. This reason and multiple others is why I keep coming back to her! In my opinion you absolutely have to read all three of these books in order, and READ THEM. Such an amazing box set.

Mountains Climbed (Mountains Series #2) by Phoebe Alexander – Review by Meg Tyrrell

Mountains Climbed (Mountains, #2)Mountains Climbed by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book 2 in the Mountains series, I honestly think you should read book 1 before reading this one. I fell in love with Sarah and James from that book and it just continued to grow in this book. I’ve finished both of them and still want more. This book is, in my opinion, way steamier than the last and that’s saying something. Continue to fall in love with Sarah and James in this second book, and see what mountains they need to climb to see where their paths lead! I love Phoebe Alexander as an author, can’t wait for the next!

Brutal & Raw: Mafia Romance & Psychological Thriller (Beneventi Family Book 1) by Sonya Jesus – Review by Meg Tyrrell

Brutal & Raw (Beneventi Family, #1)Brutal & Raw by Sonya Jesus
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a dark and thrilling book that had me wondering what was going to happen next. Sonya was a new author for me, but I fell in love with her writing and her mind instantly. The two main characters were so strongly created I slipped into my favorite part of reading and became part of the story! I don’t want anyone to think this will be an “easy” read. It was emotional and the situations that our characters are put through are horrible. This isn’t your typical mafia romance story at all. With every twist and turn of this book I was held captive! It took me one day to read this. I will absolutely read the next book and will read everything by Sonya Jesus.

Mountains Loved (Mountains Series Book 3)Mountains Loved by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read both Mountains Wanted and Mountains Climbed by Phoebe Alexander and this third book Mountains Loved didn’t let me down either! I have fallen for Sarah and James since the first book. Their story has such depth that I feel myself getting drawn in every time I open a Mountains Series. It’s an absolute must (in my opinion) to read the first two before this one. You will NOT be disappointed. Also the steamy scenes that Phoebe gives are AMAZING.

Thia Finn was a new author for me. I absolutely love her! This book was outstanding. I personally have always had a fantasy of a band member falling in love with me. This book let me read my fantasy come true! I can’t wait to read more of her books. Emmy and Alex are some of the greatest characters I’ve read to date.

Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian (Italian Teens novel 1, The Italian Saga) by Gaia B. Amman – Review by Meg Tyrrell

Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian (The Italian Saga #3)Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian by Gaia B. Amman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Gaia Amman was a new author for me, and I’ve not read any teenage books since I was one myself (which was a long time ago). I was a little worried I wouldn’t be able to connect with the characters since I”m old enough to be their mother. Boy was I wrong! This book was so beautifully written and such detail given to each character, I absolutely couldn’t put this book down. Leda (Lee) is the main character we follow throughout her teen years. She is your normal teenage girl, with the same questions we all had at that age (and some still!). Through her eyes you see and remember what it’s like to be that young and what situations our teens go through. Another part of the reason I loved this book so much was for the Italian in it. Gaia left some Italian words intact and that just added to it for me. Absolutely a must read- no matter your age!

Mountains Wanted (Mountains Series Book 1)Mountains Wanted by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a new author for me. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect with the synopsis and the cover. If for a second I thought this would be a run of the mill friends with benefits book- I was sorely mistaken. I love the depth of the characters – Sarah and James. The amount of emotion this book got from me was wonderful. I couldn’t put it down and cannot wait to read more from Phoebe Alexander. If you like steamy reads with detailed characters you grow to love- READ THIS BOOK!

Her stories are so sweet and heartwarming. I absolutely hope she writes more of these almost perfect series. I love them! Shannon and Zane are our main characters, and they have multiple obstacles to overcome to get to their happily ever after. Will it happen? Does Zane get to finally have a family? Or will his self professed bachelor status stand in the way? PLEASE READ BOTH OF THESE BOOKS! They are both amazing! Enjoy!!!

A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts Book Three) by KG Fletcher – Review by Meg Tyrrell

A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts, #3)A Sun So Bright by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts Book Three) by KG Fletcher – Review by Meg Tyrrell

This is not a new author for me. I read books 1 and 2 and absolutely adore the way KG Fletcher writes. I get pulled in with every single book, and am on the edge of my seat for every word. I wasn’t very excited for the main character of this book but only ONLY because I’ve read the first book ( I do recommend reading them in order, though it’s not an absolute necessity). I did find myself rooting for Chris and Fiona even though I started out the book with reservations on Fiona. I again, as I have with the other two books, found myself experiencing ALL the feels. KG Fletcher is an amazing author who gets you to love every character, no matter their flaws. Don’t miss out on these amazing stories!

The Sister Pact: Home is Where The Heart is by Jacquie Biggar – Review by Meg Tyrrell

The Sister Pact: Home is Where The Heart isThe Sister Pact: Home is Where The Heart is by Jacquie Biggar
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Let me start off by saying, this is a new author for me. I don’t have siblings, so sometimes it’s hard for me to identify when that’s the main theme. That was absolutely not the case with this book. From the first chapter I was hooked. Holly and Susan are our main female characters and they are sisters. They need to figure out how to recover from past hurt to make sure they have a future as a family. There were multiple twists and turns in this book that kept me on the edge of my seat. I will 100% read another book by Jacquie Biggar. She has a way with words that’s so unique and wonderful. Amazing story told exceptionally well.

Broken by Love (The Full Circle Series) by MJ Masucci – Review by Meg Tyrrell

Broken by LoveBroken by Love by M.J. Masucci
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book I’ve read by MJ Masucci. All the characters in this book had me completely drawn in. I couldn’t wait to see where the love triangle with JC, Lexi and Noah was headed. In this story of love, betrayal and forgiveness you’ll get lost in the world MJ has created. I can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens! The love between JC and Lexi is something tangible and real. The story itself is one that’s been told before but this was done in such a different and interesting way. This is a wonderful new series and I want more.

Game of FearGame of Fear by Glede Browne Kabongo
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely loved this book. From the first chapter and on, it kept me hooked. I love abbie- our main female character. She is so smart and goes through trying to figure out who is blackmailing her, with normal emotion and also some serious smarts. Every character is extremely well established. I cannot wait to read the next book by Glende! New author for me, but I will definitely be back! If you like characters that are fully developed and stories that keep you hooked- this is the book for you!

Lillie (Maggie Trilogy Series Book 3)Lillie by Mya O’Malley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read the two previous books in this Trilogy and, as I had said before in a review for Naomi (book 2) I absolutely think you should read them all and in order. That being said-this was by far my favorite of the 3 books. I could actually gush over this book. I LOVE Naomi and all of the wonderful characters in this book. I am such a fan of Mya O’Malley’s I will undoubtedly read anything she writes. This story will lead you through such a thrilling plot of past, present and future visions and the lives of ghosts Naomi comes in contact with. Sometimes I have to be in the right “mood” for paranormal ghost mysteries, however Mya ALWAYS nails it!
