Neverland but Melissa Jane I will start with this is such a good, addicting, and somewhat of a dark read. Neverland starts out sad but Lucy has such a strong will to not only live but survive, she never gives up and that keeps her going so much longer than most. Through the story you get flashbacks to when she was younger and first met Dominic and her friendship with Romeo. The story is told mainly from Lucy’s point of view, and you feel so bad for her, one can only endure so much. I read this story in one day I both loved and hated it, I was dreading the end though because there was so many ways it could go. I was not disappointed with the ending the story went out with a bang. Literally. I am looking forward to reading some more or Melissa Jane’s books.

DUDE, WHAT THE EVER LIVING H.E. DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS DID I JUST READ?!?!
I don’t even know how to review this because I can’t say anything about the book, I don’t want to ruin it for anyone and yet I want to scream from the roof tops that if you like to read a good “HOLY CRAP WHAT DID I JUST READ” book, this is the one for you.
huh, ummm yeah – so ummm let’s talk about the characters. They are quickly developed and we know who is “good” and who is “bad” from the get go. The story flows quickly and is told both in present and past tense giving much needed background along the way. It’s well plotted and I read it in one sitting because I just had to find out how it ended. I could NOT put it down because what if all the Kindles in the world erased overnight and Amazon crashed and I couldn’t get a hold of the book to find out how it ended. It would haunt me for the rest of my life, so I stayed up way past my bedtime to read the very last page.
I have read several other books that have left me feeling this exact same way and if you would like a recommendation, please feel free to reach out to me. If I could give this book 27 stars for being such a “mind (word censored but it starts with an eff and ends with a K)”, I would. Holy Moly.
Ok, that is all. Oh except, this book does contain violence and abuse and all sorts of dark stuff so if you are looking for a book that is light and fluffy, this isn’t it.

Neverland is a thrilling story by Melissa Jane. This is quite gripping story about a dark and twisted obsession that takes the reader on a chilling journey full of danger, shocking abuse, sweet love, heart-stopping details, bigotry, hopelessness, desperation, rage, deprivation, fear, secrets, threats, heartache, and mind boggling twists. I was definitely on the edge of my seat with this read- scrambling to keep up with what was going on and trying to figure out what would happen before anything was revealed. I failed miserably. I could not have predicted that outcome and am still reeling from that shocking ending! I am not even going to try to cover what happens in the book, I think you really are best diving in and reading it blind. There is a reason the blurb is a little vague- and you’ll understand once you finish reading the story. This is definitely one of those “what the fu-dge did I just read” kind of books. It definitely isn’t a fluffy, heart-and-flowers read! So be warned. There are confronting situations, brutal scenes, sad and depressing elements that were all wrapped up in an intense and twisted tale of obsession and captivity. The story sucked the life right out of me, completely sucked me dry- BUT I’d do it all over again!!! The story twists and turns, and really kept me guessing as to how it would all play out. Melissa Jane tormented her character/s, put them trough the fires of hell- more than once!! I kept wondering how much more they would have to endure! Pulse pounding reading that’s for sure. Be warned, this story is not for the feint of heart, it will definitely chew you up and spit you out! Melissa Jane is already on my “Must Read” authors list, and I’m now waiting expectantly for her next book

A beautiful yet tragic romance. Lucy has a hard life of abuse and just when she thinks she is out of it, she gets thrown back in. Dominic is obsessed with her and is jealous of people get to close to what is his. I honestly could not put this book down. It was full of heartbreaking events but the authors depiction of the story is magnificent. I was pulled in from the first chapter. There is a good amount of violence and abuse that takes place in the novel so readers who are bothered by that should not read this book.

Neverland is not an easy story to read. It’s full of torment and sadness and unthinkable acts. This is the dark swirling abyss of the Underworld, the seedy underbelly, the lives of those from broken homes and bad circumstances. Right and wrong have no place here. So much evil in this one book. So much destruction. Tiny moments of hope that only get ripped away. If you are in the mood for mobsters, strippers, thugs, and more, read this. It made me sad and stressed and got my heart pumping.

Ahhh this book!!! I have spent ages trying to decide what to give it as star rating it has me all tied up – on one hand I was totally captivated by it, it was exciting, unpredictable, full of angst but that ending! Oh my gosh what is this author trying to do to me! This really was a brilliantly written story; I honestly could not put it down. The author has this amazing way of grabbing your attention straight away and not letting you out until the end, I was so immersed in the story that I didn’t see the twists and turns coming at all. I think that this is one of those books that whatever I say will not do the book justice – it has to be read to be understood just how fantastic a read it was. This book should definitely be one-clicked today!!! After reading two books by this author I cannot wait to read more from her again in the future.

Neverland is a dark and twisted thriller by Melissa Jane. This is my second book by this author and I am glad I had the opportunity to read this book. I really like the writing style of this author, she gives you everything you could want in a book. This book also deals with some issues from racial and bullying in all forms that we deal with today. So please be aware of this before you start reading it. I don’t read many of this type of story, but I have to say that while its dark and twisted I really did enjoy it. Neverland deals with the life of Lucy who is a beautiful girl with a heart of gold, yet she doesn’t have the perfect life with her family. Her father is an abusive and yet her mother stays and puts up with his treatment. Wanted to grab this woman and save her from him and herself. So, if you want to escape into a world of darkness and suspense this is the book for you.

521. That, is how many reviews that I currently have on Goodreads right now. So, to say that I have experience writing one is pretty valid. Well, ‘Neverland’ has completely thrown me for a loop. I finished this novel in one sitting a few evenings ago and it has consumed my thoughts since. I still can’t figure out how to do this novel justice with my review. Honestly, I will sincerely do my best, but all I can say for sure is you have to read this one for yourself. Especially, if you are a dark and twisty novel fan like myself. Do not let the warnings get to you. Yes it is a dark book. It is not all flowers and sunshine. Guess what? Life is not flowers and sunshine people! These books that touch us so much are often the ones that are so realistic, because they are relatable. We can see more of ourselves in the characters.
These characters will do just that too. They will suck you in. Every single piece of you. Heart and soul. I was so invested. Every time something happened, good or bad, to the characters I felt it too. My heart broke to a million tiny pieces. Honestly, it still hurts. Especially after that ending. It all makes so much sense now, but I have a feeling this book will stay with me for a long time. Now that I have read ‘Neverland” I have to read another Melissa Jane novel. I have been scouring her works and adding them to by TBR list for days. I do believe that I will start with ‘Little Doll’ next. That one is a part of a series. Thank you so much for this wonderful and mind-blowing novel Melissa Jane. It truly blew me away and left me speechless. This goes on my top ten reads of 2018 list!

Neverland is a dark 5 star read. This is a dark read about obsession and could have triggers for some. I highly suggest you take the authors warning into consideration before reading.
We jump from then and now to get the history on how Lucy meets Dominic the first time. Lucy is now working as a dancer in a club and not by choice. Her best friend is getting out and wants her to come with her, but she can’t and she can’t tell her why. To them, I was the girl with a big red target on my back. And they weren’t wrong.
Dominic was a monster of the worst kind. The things he would do were heartbreaking and hard to read at times. He was obsessed with Lucy and controlled everything about her.

Romeo was a god send for Lucy growing up, he was always there for her and tried to protect her the best he could. Until the day she disappeared.
I’m still shaken from reading this book, there are so many scenes that had me in tears and my heart breaking for Lucy. The secondary characters added a great element to the story, some I hated and some I loved. The ending left me with a little bit of shock. Melissa Jane does a great job with her writing and I was pulled in right from the beginning. This book is definitely going on my must read for 2018.

Neverland by Melissa Jane is one of those books that leave you with a book hangover long after you finish reading it. I can’t believe all of the emotions I went through while reading this book, I’m heartbroken, with the life Lucy was dealt, but completely blown away by the strength that was packed into this strong female. I’m not sure what else to say about this book without giving away any that makes this book so significant. I will say that you should pay attention to the warning that comes with it, because it definitely could cause triggers. This is the first book I have read by this author, but I look forward to reading more from Melissa Jane in the future. This is one of best and saddest books I have read this year.

Neverland By Melissa Jane. This book was AMAZING! I can’t even tell you….it blew me away. I read it in one sitting because once you start you can’t stop! Its the tragic story of Lucy Sommers who lives a life of pure hell. The only person keeping her sane is her one true friend Romeo. One day Lucy is taken away from Romeo and doesn’t think she will ever see him again. But she does see someone from her past again and he promises to take care of her and keep her safe. Anton is a horrible, vile person. He keeps her safe only so he can belittle and torture her. Keeping her under his thumb is one of his joys in life. After she has witnessed and endured horrible, unspeakable things she finds her true love again. Will they live happily ever after or will Anton stay after them until the very end. This is one of those books that you can’t get out of your head. Its so good and so sad that there is probably a lot of truth to it. I loved this book and hope to read more from this author.

Neverland is a standalone thriller by Melissa Jane. What a thought stealing, heartstopping, violent, twisted mess of a stunning romance psycho thriller. I reread parts of this book over and over, because I seriously thought I could not have read correctly. But I did. And that is what she wrote!! This author said that this story was not cuddly puppies, hearts and flowers. It really was brutal, graphic, shocking, sinister, deadly. I could go on and on. The main characters were a mix of victim, villain, hero and so much more. I did not think I would like this book as wholeheartedly as I did. It was amazing, incredulous reading and I cannot wait for more.
There are many issues that could be triggers for some, but if you deviate to the risky side, then take a chance on Neverland. It is raw, rough and astounding, but it unfolds so masterfully, I hing off every word. The beginning and middle were mindblowing. The ending will shock your world. Such a fitting end to a story I will never forget. 5 stars.

This intense thriller is riveting, action packed, and well detailed. It is not warm and fuzzy and is not for all readers. I’m trying to get my thoughts together on this book. I just finished a bit ago and I still can’t believe what I read. This was a beautifully tragic story. Lucy has had a rough life from a child on through her years. Her one day of sunshine was Romeo, her best friend. When one day paths cross with Dominic and her life is never the same. Through it all she just survives and then fate steps in. And that’s when it all went topsy turvy for me. Neverland by Melissa Jane completely crushed me! This was a truly heart-wrenching read that had me in tears, if you’re looking for a happy read this sure isn’t it. This book is by far my favourite by this author, from the first chapter I was hooked. The storyline had me so intrigued and feeling so emotional, from disgust, anger, hatred, shock and deep sadness I felt it all. Lucy’s character was so easy to connect with and her story is one I won’t soon forget.
I loved how this author wrote in both past and present moments, it kept me really engaged the whole way through as I questioned everything. Plus, it gave me insight into the love connection that Romeo and Lucy shared. A love so strong that I pray they truly found their way to Neverland.
I would absolutely recommend this book to others and I look forward to reading more from this author in the near future!

OMG!!! I am wrecked! This book! This story! I am sitting here with tears streaming down my cheeks! My heart is wounded. The writing in here is outstanding! I could not put this book down. So be prepared to read late into the night. This story made me feel for these characters-empathy, desperation, hatred, hope and love. From the monster who is possessive and obsessive to the girl who only hopes for a chance at a better life. I was so sucked Into her life. It’s hard for me to even imagine what this girl goes through. I really wished my Hope and Love could be felt by HER through the pages so she would know someone is rooting for her. Dang! This girl!
The blurb drew my inquisitive mind to this book. I was NOT disappointed! This is my second book by this author. She can really weave a tale and make me *feel* things. Neverland is the second “romantic thriller” I’ve read by Melissa Jane. I read Monsters incredibly fast as I couldn’t put it down and the story really stuck with me. There is one scene in particular that had filled me with chills that I can still picture now months later. When I saw Neverland I couldn’t click the download button fast enough. If you read the synopsis it will state that this book isn’t not all rainbows and butterflies and that there are triggering topics throughout the storyline, I would consider this a thriller with a touch of romance. As the synopsis warns, this is a dark story but one that is so, so well written. I love the narration of the story bringing us back and forth between present and past and slowly unraveling how our main character got where she is. It truly adds to the element of suspense. I struggle to type a review that does this story justice as I don’t want to give away any spoilers. It is intense and intriguing from start to finish. Melissa Jane has a talent for creating a dark, twisted tale that leaves you haunted. I loved how this story came to a close and will say I was a little surprised by the ending. With the warning that this story contains triggers for some kept in mind, I would recommend this to anyone that loves a suspensive, addictive dark story. The story NEVERLAND by Melissa Jane is a book that I enjoyed reading and found that once I started it I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the final page. It is a story that includes one characters obsession and need for control and another character daily life that includes fear. It is a book that is suspenseful and had me wondering what was going to happen next. It is a story that has characters that I loved and those that I would call evil and cruel. One of the characters that I loved is the main female character. She is one that I could empathize with what she goes through on a daily basis. One of the other characters is a man that can be called a monster and a bully. He is cold and calculating. My emotions were going up and down the entire time I read this story. It is a book that shows the dark side of life and at times can be heartbreaking. There are also scenes that are about friendship. This is a wonderfully written story. I found myself thinking about it even after I had finished reading it. The book does include scenes that have situations of a sensitive nature.

Holy cow!! This book is a dark, disturbing masterpiece!! This book drew me in from the beginning and kept its evil grip on me the entire time. As I’m reading this story I can’t believe what I’m reading but yet I am unable to look away. I could not stop till I found out what happens to Lucy, Romeo, and even Dominic. I don’t want to give anything away but I will say that this is a must read!! It will stay with me for a very long time, it feels like its inside my head, which doesn’t happen to me me very often. This is a dark romance story with a twist of obsession. This is my favorite book by this author yet. This is a dark journey of a woman who can’t seem to catch a break with life no matter which direction she turns. Lucy has taken so much through life that I just wanted to see something good happen to her. Just when I thought something good would happen, there was more twists and turns. I couldn’t put her story down and it is a must read story. I highly recommend this book.

Neverland by Melissa Jane was a dark, psychological thriller, that had me hooked. This book had me so engrossed, I had it read in less then three hours.
Not my first read by this author, so I knew I was in for something dark, twist and feels ripping. And boy did I get that, and more. I will warn you this book will be triggering if you are sensitive to assault, sexual assault, abusive violence or language. This is not for the faint of heart, and I can tell you there is a very, VERY, bitter-sweet ending, that I still don’t know if I like.
I don’t even know where to start with this one. I don’t want to tell you anything because of the way it’s written, giving you anything on the MC’s, the plot, and the antagonist, no not antagonist, abuser, will ruin this heart destroying read. I will tell you that it’s written in past and present. That back and forth is done very well, and the author does a great job at matching the past and present. Clean transitions, and soil emotional writing, makes the scene swaps all the more chilling and raw.
Lucy, I can’t even think about her right now. I’m mad about her life, how she ended up in that hell, and how it was all for nothing.. I’m mad because Lucy was a strong character and even though broken and at her wits end, she fought, she fought so hard. So yes, I’m mad, but at the same time… I can get into it, because like I said, it’s bitter-sweet.
I wish you could see me shaking my head, because I’m still very emotionally raw about this book. And as much as I wanted to put it down at times, I couldn’t. Because even though it was dark, it showed the evil that is out in this world. As much as this is fiction, this whole scenario, is happening right now, and that’s makes this read all the more heart wrenching and painful.
This book is a must read, and I highly recommend you get your hands on it. Because even though I know Lucy isn’t real, her story needs to be read, it needs to make you mad, angry and hurt. This book will break your rose coloured glasses.
I’m going to leave it at that, and unlike my other reviews I can’t leave my normal ending, because there is nothing happy about this book.

Neverland by Melissa Jane is a hard to read book, BUT it is well worth the read. I was torn to read this book or just pass it by and find a different story. I enjoyed this book and glad I did not pass it. Melissa Jane did an amazing job with her characters. They were fully developed and so easy to understand what they were going through. This is a dark romance thriller book. This book needs attention so I recommend sitting down somewhere you can totally focus on what you are reading. The story does go back to the past and to the present. This took me a couple of extra reads just because I wanted to make sure that I did not miss anything. I cannot wait to see what else Melissa Jane has written.

Neverland by Melissa Jane is a twisted yet intriguing story and one that will have you hooked. I had no idea what to expect going into this story. It was a relatively new author for me, having only read one of her books previously, and the blurb was great at piquing my interest without really giving anything away. And the emotional impact this book gives you makes it all entirely worth it. I was on the edge of my seat throughout most of this book, heart in my throat. I finished this book in one sitting because I just had to keep reading and find out what would happen next. This book easily had tears running down my face and yet I still couldn’t turn away. I liked how, although there is a romance story within this book, it isn’t the primary focus as such. I liked that the book had so much more about it. I also liked that this author wasn’t scared to step over that line. If you are going to write a book as dark and depraves as this then there is nothing more frustrating as a reader when the author stops short of achieving the full goal. However Melissa Jane not only passed that line but she did so successfully and tastefully. It was written so well. This is definitely one of my favourites of the year so far and I am excited to have found a new author.

Neverland, by Melissa Jane, is a dark psychological suspense/thriller novel. This author never fails to deliver a memorable or climatic novel. In Neverland, beware of what lies ahead as this story will cut wide open and leave you wide open, you won’t expect it! This book was beyond what I anticipated when I read the synopsis. I found the characters well written, full of depth and insanely off the charts in regards to the psychological edge that is there. This author has talent in weaving an dark and crazy cast of characters along with unexpected results. This story was addictive and I could not put it down! A must read!

Neverland by Melissa Jane is one of those books that you just sit there after finishing it you just sit there and say oh wow or something else more explicit.
This book was incredibly tragic, but always had a silver lining hidden in the back or at least it seemed that way to me.
There were so many things I loved about this book but they are so integral to the story and could give things away I can’t and won’t explain so I don’t risk giving anything away.
There aren’t too many books that have effected me the way this one has or I would say are a must read but this is one you must read.

Arrogant Fiancé is a very sexy collaboration by T.L Smith and Melissa Jane. I am very familiar with both authors, having read Ms. Smith’s ‘Dark Intentions’ series, and Ms. Jane’s ‘Monsters’ and the ‘Bittersweet’ series. I have loved their individual worked, so I was excited by what their writing partnership would produce. To say they got their recipe right is an understatement. What they have delivered is a wonderful, seamless, cohesive and polished piece of work- a real credit to them both! All the controversy that brought about the change from the original title, and the not to be mentioned “C” word, aside, this book is really fantastic and deserves to be read. It has got some angst and drama, but the story never gets too heavy or bogged down by any unwarranted drama. This is a fun and very entertaining read. There is humour, emotion, twists/surprises and some suspense- as well as quite a lot of steam to this tale. The chemistry and tension between the two leading characters was really well portrayed. I was intrigued by their situation, then captivated by them, and quickly became invested in them and their story. This is a forbidden/office romance that kept me hooked right till the very last word! I really recommend this book to anyone looking for a sexy, spicy read that delivers everything the blurb promises, and more! I look forward to reading more collaborations from these two talented authors in the future- after all there were several single, HOT hunks/secondary characters that I would love to see get their own story. Especially Slate…. hint, hint, hint.

Oh my goodness, I can not even explain how much I loved this book…..Why have I not read anything by this author before, this is a question I can’t answer but something I can definitely change. It all started with the amazingly awesome cover and only got better right from the first paragraph.
What a ride this story was, I loved how the flashbacks to 10 years ago were so perfectly placed and not overdone in any way. Each one served a purpose and was done in the most brilliant way. I loved Gemma, she is now one of my favorite female leads, Even with everything around her crumbling she wasn’t weak and pitiful, it all made her stronger and the minute she decided to take back control I was like holy moly I love this woman!! I don’t know how to explain it but nothing in this story went the way I expected it to, and this is the best thing ever. You start thinking and talking to your characters while your reading telling them to do something, knowing they wont and everything will be made worse because of it, but not this one…Gemma did things before I even had a chance to yell at my kindle telling her to do it.
I’m not going to go into any detail about this book. You have to read it, it is beyond amazing and this author is Brilliant and her talent for telling a story is unmatched. I was emotionally invested in every aspect of this book. There aren’t enough words for me to describe how I loved reading every word…
Many many thanks to Melissa Jane for giving me a couple hours of reading something completely different than my norm and also giving me another favorite author to add to my list!!
