This was such a neat read! So many authors in one place. These are all stories about survival and it is interesting to see how each author tells stories in their own way. If you are into post-apocalyptic tales, this is the book for you. Story collection books are a new reading type for me but after this, I will definitely be reading more!

Greer’s life is dramatically changed when her mother gets engaged to the father of the football god of Oak High, an exclusive private school for the richest of the rich. Greer wants her mom to be happy, so she transfers to the school and does everything she can to make sure her mom doesn’t know what she’s going through. Beckett Dawson, her new stepbrother has not made her new life easy. He is constantly putting her down or ignoring her at school. Instead of making Greer have a pleasant experience at Oak High, he does whatever he can to make her want to pack her bags and move out of her fancy house. Greer has a crush on Beckett, even with him treating her badly. She is beaten up at school and that changes things. Beckett begins to help Greer whenever he can. Can Greer survive her senior year and put this all behind her or will the drama of the elite be too much for her? This was such a good read, I was addicted! I hope there will be a sequel of Greer and Beckett in college. This book is filled with friendship, drama, action, twists, and even love.

Will Noah solve his problems from his past and finally be with Callie or will his secrets bite him in the rear? OMG! This book is steamy! And the story was one that I enjoyed. This book was one that I could read over and over. Now the only question is, how do you find a man like Noah?!

This is not normally a book that I would read but it was great! Azreya is the warrior princess you didn’t know you needed. Join her on an adventure unlike any other. From a young age, she is said to be a demon and her family fears for her. She is sent to live with a shaman to get her power under control. She lives there for a long-time learning all that she can. When a twist happens, she sets out on her own to help the Aztec people. Will she be able to keep her “demon” under control and save her people or will the Spanish take them all down? Well written and gives such vivid imagery even without the provided pictures.

Rosalie, a former dancer who loved to be on her feet, is suddenly paralyzed and bed ridden. You would think that would make her husband more sympathetic for the woman he loves. Instead, he has betrayed Rosie and she is going to get her revenge. With enormous effort, she can finally move again, but has yet to let her husband know of her current state. Will Rosie get her revenge, or will Vincent get what he’s had planned? This story was amazing! It really made you think about certain situations. The way the other wrote was wonderful, it was interesting to read the story through each of the main characters perspective. I recommend this book if you’re looking for something that makes you think, and guess what you know about someone.

Anton Kingston has the life that most dream of. He is handsome, wealthy, and a very famous actor. But he wants more, a wife and children. And he thinks he has all that when he runs into Elsa Fitzgerald, one of New York’s most successful realty agents. She wants the same thing as Anton, but will they be able to achieve it or will their struggles keep them from obtaining their dreams. This book was wonderful, and the characters were great. The story, although full of love, was focused on the hardships that couples endure; this made the book relatable even though their lives are much different than most people I know. The author, Anise, illustrated rough times can happen to people who look like they have it all, going to show that you don’t know what happens behind the scenes.

He is determined to not cross the boundary he had set for himself, but something about her makes him want more. A great read and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series!

Will their marriage end after the contract is up or will they truly fall in love? This book is so good. I feel that a lot of people can relate to Paisley when she is going through her hard time. And even though most cannot compare their lives to Caspian’s lifestyle, I think they can relate to the inner battles that he deals with. Romance, deception, and witty.

The Draco Sang are mostly animals, but humans are their slaves and will stop at nothing to snuff out the normal humans or those who are traitors. This book is portrayed through different views from the characters. We start with Nogard who is a dragon that just wants to sleep. Then there is Jade, she has so many feelings about the battle that she must be a part of. She is part of the Draco Sang but has secrets that she must hide. Suza is fights for the humans. All she wants is for them to have their freedom. Ferth, a Draco Sang who now fights for the humans as well. He is the son of war chief and is now considered a traitor. He has many people that he intends to save. Will he be able to save them all? This book was good. The way the story is told through each chapter being a different characters point of view is a great way to see what is going on during both sides of the battle. Be sure to read the first two books of this series!

Mimi, or as many know her, The Queen of Hearts, is not out for blood but revenge. She plays the game so well, the men think that they are winning even when they are about to lose what means the most to them. Poisoned wine but not the killing kind. What does the poison do? Read this tale and find out. Mimi is a spunky woman who will never be treated unfairly by a man again. She sticks up for the women around her and tries her best to give them the justice they deserve. This book was fun, thrilling, and a bit twisted but a very good quick read.

I enjoyed this book. Although, I have not read the rest of the series, I think it is easy to follow along without having the story from the other books. This was another book that I could not put down and finished in a day. “Squid: A rider who could use some training on his form and technique.” This is exactly the term to describe bachelor, Levi Crowe. He knows how to please the ladies but relationships, that is a whole new ballgame to this man. He has got everything he thinks he needs, fun times, friends, booze, and women that swarm around him. But he gets a rude awakening when Kindle enters the scene. She doesn’t want anything to do with this man, she has made it clear. So why can’t he get her out of his head? Levi goes through some challenges and some life changing events. He gets a stalker that he can’t seem to shake. He must excel at his career and change the way he looks at life. Will this be enough to land the girl of his dreams? Or will the life he knows come crashing down on him?
