5 out of 5 stars

I am always thrilled to stumble across writing by Amy McKinley that I haven’t read yet. When I found Moonlit Whisper, it was an automatic download. I read this story in two sittings, only because I started it so late the night before. As always, the writing was strong with characters I effortless loved. Both Fiona and Connor were great, heck, I even appreciated Lach as a character. I could go on and on about how I loved the story, but rather than vaguely ramble, I just encourage you to read Moonlit Whisper on your own.

This isn’t my first read by this author so reading her work is brilliant every time, this one while being a shorter read you would think that it lacks in something but you will be happy to find that this book has everything and more that you get from a full-length novel. This book captivates you from the very beginning and has you hooked until the very end! I loved following Fiona’s & Connors story they had a great connection I really hoped that they could put the past behind them and face a new HEA together! This book was a brilliant second chance romance read that has emotions ad characters that make this read real and captivating. I can’t wait to read more from this author and this series!

Boy Oh Boy did I enjoy this one! My only complaint would be I wanted more! The story is a fraction in their lives. With a couple perfect flashbacks. I was made to feel hurt, anger, sorrow and giddiness all in the span of these few pages. The characters are memorable ones and I really can’t get enough of those Irish swear words! (Smiling like an idiot). Fiona and Connor are a sweet couple while Lachlan seems hotheaded.
I enjoyed this immensely and could only ask for more.

In normal Amy McKinley fashion, I devoured this book in less than an hour and although I’m not used to her writing such short books and might slightly prefer her longer novels, I did in fact enjoy this story. I kinda figured out how this would end pretty quick but how it got there wasn’t exactly how I predicted, so I appreciated that.

Everything that draws me to this author was present in this story, the smooth flow, and easy to follow storyline, it did take me a couple seconds to figure out I was in a flashback here and there, but the transition was quick so it did not take away from the story. Not going in to any of the storyline because it is so quick and I would be giving something away, so will just say that I highly recommend anything by this author, I love her Gray Ghost series, it’s one of my favorites, and these quick stories she is writing are also very enjoyable for a quick time out from doing the adulting thing 🙂

Moonlit Whisper (An Irish Romance) by Amy McKinley was a great 5 star second chance romance. This is a short read that you won’t want to put down until you’re done.

Flo is a tutor and when her father asks her to tutor one of his new players she was shocked to see who it was. Connor is back for his senior year of college and to play football. The biggest bonus is that Flo is also there, the main reason for his return. Problem is, Flo is seeing Lach. Lach, Flo and Connor were all neighbors and grew to be very good friends when they were younger.

Will Connor be able to convince Flo to come back to him? Will she understand why he left?

There is so much more to this read. We get a slight backstory of these two when they were younger and a look into the heartbreaking childhood that Connor endured. Now he’s back to reclaim the one true love of his life. I really liked Connor and Flo, all of the other characters added a great element to the story. I actually would have liked to get a little more to this story, it was over too soon. If you’re looking for a great 2nd chance romance this is the book for you. 1-click and get started today.

Moonlit Whisper by Amy Mckinley was a really good, quick read! I was instantly engages from the first page, and I enjoyed the fast paced story telling and characters in the novel. My only complaint about the novel however, is the fact that it was a little too fast paced. I wouldn’t have minded some extra details about some of the events that transpired in the novel, and a little more background on past events. She did a great job story telling the past events and the whole story, but to me it would have been much better if it was a little more slowed down. It honestly felt a little rushed. But I really enjoyed reading this story. It was quick, and it had a happy ending. I really enjoying reading books from this author!

Moonlit Whisper by Amy Mckinley a fab four-star read. This is in an Irish Romance in the Moonlit destination series, but you do not need to have read the others, they all tell their own stories. This trio will pull you into the story, they will have you wondering, which was will you get pulled, the old the new, the one who ran away or the one who stayed? Just like always this author pulls you into the story and makes you a part of the story.

This was a lovely short romance story. The characters are well written and the book was well written and complete for a short story.

Fiona and Connor were sweethearts. They thought they would be together forever that is until Connor leaves with his mum.

Heartbroken Fiona does the only thing thing can and moves on with her life. Now she is engaged to Lachlan and everything seems to be well until Connor arrives back in her life.

Who will she pick? Is the love between her and Connor to strong to deny? Or will her relationship with Lachlan survive.

5 stars!

Short, sweet and to the point, I like it! I really enjoyed this story, the characters were easy to fall in love with and relate to. I didn’t like Lach from the beginning, he seemed like such a douche, and the way he kept bringing up being there for Fiona when her mother passed made me think he looked at that as the reason why Fiona should be with him over Connor. Connor is heartbroken that he has to leave Fiona to follow his mom, but he was young and really didn’t have a choice. I can understand Fiona went through a hard time and the only person she had with her was Lach but, it was kind of annoying that she held that over Connor for most of the story. She knew what he was dealing with in his life, knowing how he was treated by his father growing up but, that made the story more interesting. I can’t wait to see what comes next with this author.

This is a cute novella about second chance loves. The plotline is engaging and simple. This is a novella, which makes the story move along and at a fast pace. The characters are wonderful and approachable. I feel like I was friends with Fiona and Connor. Fiona was a tutor and her dad asked her to tutor one of his football players. When Fiona found out who it was do you think was? That is right, Connor. .Can Fiona forget/forgive Connor? Can Connor make it up to Fiona? I highly recommend this story to see what happens to Fiona and Connor.

Moonlit Whisper is a novella in the Moonlit Destination series by Amy McKinley. This book was very quick, reading it in one day, but it was good. I wish it was a full story, as I think it ended too soon. This story of Connor and Fiona was more carefree than I’m used to reading of McKinley’s. It tells the story of a love triangle of sorts, where Fiona is made to choose between her two best friends. I love the connection they share, but wish there was more details to the story. The plot is good enough it could have been a full length novel, but it is what it is. Still enjoyed it, and recommend to others for a quick sweet story with a happily ever after.

Moonlit Whisper by Amy McKinley is such a wonderful contemporary romance read. I have always loved Amy’s works and this series, Moonlit Destination, so when I saw this was available I knew I had to know the story that was behind the gorgeous cover of Moonlit Whisper. In this book we get the story of Fiona and Connor, and what a story it is. This book packs one heck of a punch for the shorter read it is and I felt like I had lived a whole different life by the end of it. I won’t give much more than the blurb already provided so for the gritty details you will want to one click this read right now. Be prepared to fall in love with the way McKinley builds a world you won’t want to leave.

This is a short story about first loves and second chances.
Fiona is starting her 4th year in Dublin alongside her fiancé Lachlan. When she is asked to tutor a new player, she is surprised to see the boy (who is now a man) from her past at the table.
Conner is back in Dublin after living in the US with his mother when she fled the abusive ways of Conner’s father. Now he’s back and he can see that things aren’t like they were when he left. Lachlan has nothing but disdain for him and Fiona is no longer his.
As the book plays out, a series of events has Fiona questioning her relationship with Lachlan and coming to terms with why Conner had to leave all those years ago.
I enjoyed this story. It was a quick read…but enjoyable.

I enjoyed this romance story. It is a shorter story that packs a real punch for romance. I was pulled into the story right from the beginning and it certainly kept me turning pages to the end. This is an engaging story about Fiona and Connor. She is asked to tutor a football player but what she doesn’t realize is that she is about to face someone from her past. The problem is that he left her all that time ago, will he make amends with her? Connor is determined to have her back and show her he isn’t leaving this time. What happens next you will need to read this book. They are such great characters and really made the story easy to read for me. Their chemistry is awesome and couldn’t wait to see if they get their HEA. I highly recommend reading their story and this author
