Five Stars

Most Have Faith is the second book in the Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland. I have to say this series gets better and better. This story hooked me from the very first page, I just couldn’t put it down. Greg Mallory is a cop in the Darling Cove, struggling to put his life back together after his fiancée left him at the altar ten years before. Faith is the woman who left Greg behind, without a word and now she is moving back to town. This second chance romance had my emotions going all over the place, laughing one minute and wanting to throw my tablet across the room at the next. The chemistry is off the charts and both of them want to deny that they still have feelings for each other. This is a must read book and series by Ms. Garland. I can’t wait to read what she has in store for us with Skye’s story.

This is the second book in the series and I liked it just as much as I liked the first book. I love second chance book and knowing this was and old love made it all the more sweeter. This book can be read as a stand-alone but I highly suggest reading them in order to get the best reading experience because they’re both great books.
Greg Mallory was left standing at the alter years ago with no explaining as to why his bride ran away. Years later she pops up back in his life and he is determined to finally get the answers he was looking for all this years ago.
I would recommend this book to a friend!!

Must Have Faith is the second book in Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland; this was a wonderful emotional second chance romance. You met Greg and Faith in Must Love Fashion but the question running through my mind the whole time was why Faith left Greg. We finally get the answer, plus see the anger and passion that 10 years apart does to these childhood sweethearts. Can Faith and Greg get a second chance at love or will Faith run off to London?

Faith and Greg have so many things to work out but their lust for one another keeps getting in the way of them talking. Nothing was better than the kitchen table scene; I couldn’t stop laughing at how embarrassing that was. But what really touched my heart was the ending; reading the last 25% of this book will have you needing a box of tissues. Deborah the writing was heartbreaking and had me feeling everything that they were going thru.

So looking forward to reading Edward and Skye’s story next.

Must Have Faith (Darling Cove #2)Must Have Faith by Deborah Garland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“Must Have Faith” is the second book in the Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland so make sure to read “Must Love Fashion” first! “Must Have Faith” gives us the story of Gwen’s brother Greg and the woman he was supposed to marry ten years ago, Faith. Greg has been stuck in the past since his ex-fiancée left him ten years ago, right before they were to be married. He is an honorable man and dedicated police officer, just like his father, and proud of it. Faith left Greg to report to Iraq for a three year assignment, but that was seven years ago and she is still stuck on what happened before she left. The story of these two people is long, but intense. They have loved each other for so long, but can’t seem to get it together! I was hoping Deborah Garland would give us this story, as she hinted to it in “Must Love Fashion” and I wasn’t disappointed. The more I read about the Mallory family, the more I love them and reading about their lives. Darling Cove seems (excuse the pun but…) just darling and most of its’ residents seem like down to earth, genuine people. I absolutely love this series and can’t wait to start reading “Must Be Crazy!” I probably know who it is about and can’t wait to see what Deborah Garland has in store! I give “Must Have Faith” five stars!

This is the second book in the Darling Cove series and I loved it! I love how its a second chance romance with an older couple. I don’t necessarily see that often and that’s one thing I love!

I instantly fell in love with Faith. Her career is something I haven’t read in novels. I loved her personality from the get go but there is also this mystery about her on why she ended thing with her fiancé Greg Mallory all those years ago.

Greg’s heart has always been with Faith. He never really got over that heart break and thus is still not married. Faith is back and he wants answers. He needs this closure so he can move on with his life instead of living in the past. What he didn’t expect is to still be just as attracted to her as he was 10 years ago. Now he’s battling his head, his heart, and the barriers that keep him from those secrets she keeps.

I have fallen in absolute love with this series. Each one is incredibly special and will pull your heartstrings to the very end. I love Miss Garland’s writing and the way she will sweep you into her story from the get go!

Greg Mallory isn’t the kind of man to wallow just because he was left at the altar. Not when there are plenty of women to help him forget his heartbreak. But as the only Mallory son, he has an obligation to carry on the family name. When Greg’s runaway bride returns, his head tells him to keep his distance, but his body and his heart are both begging for a second chance.

Faith Copeland bolted out of Darling Cove with a shameful secret and stayed away for ten years thinking Greg Mallory would never forgive her. Coming home means facing her past and Greg. She just didn’t think he still had the power to make her melt after all this time.

One moment alone proves their attraction is stronger than ever. Are they brave enough to start fresh? Or will past secrets destroy their second chance at happy-ever-after once and for all?

Must Have Faith is the second book in the Darling Cove Series by Deborah Garland. Must Have Faith is second chance romance. I am in love with this series. The characters, backstories and growth was amazing. In my opinion Must Have Faith is my favorite one from this author. I think it may have been because this wasn’t just about two people that were childhood friends reconnecting, or strangers meeting.

Must Have Faith (Darling Cove #2)Must Have Faith by Deborah Garland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Must Have Faith, by Deborah Garland, is the second book in the Darling Cove series. This contemporary romance follows Faith and Greg, who were minor characters in part of the previous book in the series, Must Love Fashion. In Must Have Faith, the reader learns what caused the bride-to-be to bail on her wedding to the love of her life. Regrets, longing, misconceptions, second chances are what is delivered in this story. Faith is a strongly independent character, but she’s missing something in her life and that just may be Greg. Deborah Garland weaves a story of lost love, hope and renewal that is romantic and hard won. A beautiful story about how much love can truly overcome.

Must Have Faith is book two in the Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland. I cannot say how much I enjoyed this story. My favourite of this series so far, and I can only hope they just keep getting better. Somehow I don’t think I will be disappointed with what’s to come.

The beginning of this story intrigued me. The middle of the story enchanted me. The ending of this story completed me. The characters added mystery, excitement and attraction. Faith made mistakes. Greg tried to get on with his life. Faith tried to immerse herself in work to lessen the pain. Greg done just enough to survive and tale one day at a time. There were so many feels to their tale. Heartache, loss, realisation, happiness, elation, passion, frustration, love, adoration, rediscovery, anger, tension, contentment, completeness. A whole lot of emotion thrown in, mixed up and blended to make a delicious and tantalising tale.

  1. Deborah Garland nailed the great entertainer. This book could not be better. Flawed perfection. 5 starsView all my reviews

Must have Faith ( Darling Cove Book 2) by Deborah Garland is the second book in her Darling Cove series. This is about second chances and I couldn’t stop reading till I finished. We met Greg and Faith in the first book and this is their story . These were just a few days from getting married until Faith left him at the Alt now ten years later. Are there feelings for one another still as strong? Can these two get a second chance at love ? I highly recommend reading this book. Can’t wait to read the next book in this series

A great read about struggles to forgive. Faith Copeland left her fiancee Greg Mallory at the altar ten years ago. When a chance brings Faith back to Darling Cove and reunites her with Greg, will they be able to mend their relationship or always be remembering the past?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Faith doing a hat she loves but standing up for herself or Gregs harsh exterior but protective nature underneath. I really loved about the setting of a small town with its train station and police station small community full of life and people who all know eachother. And loved the sense of the newsroom with long corridors . The only issue I would raise is there was some repetition at times. Overall, a great read and I would give it four stars.

Loved this book. Another wonderful contribution from the author for this series. The storyline was solid, detailed, relatable. It stands on its own well but some characters are introduced in greater detail if reading book one first. Loved these characters and cannot wait to sit down and read this book again.

Must Have Faith (Darling Cove Series Book #2) by Deborah Garland – Review by Angela Hayes.

Must Have Faith (Darling Cove #2)Must Have Faith by Deborah Garland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Must Have Faith is the second book in the Darling Cove Series by Deborah Garland and is a fantastic second chance romance. This story is every bit as great as the first book, and I really loved getting to know Faith and Greg so much better. We met them in the first book “Must Love Fashion” where they played secondary character roles. Greg is Gwen’s brother (book one) and Faith is Gwen’s childhood best friend (book one).
Faith Copeland is an executive producer with CNN and Greg is a Police Officer with the Darling Cove Police Department. Faith and Greg have a history- they were once very much in love and engaged to be married. Then out of the blue Faith calls off the wedding and leaves for Afghanistan on a 3-year assignment- leaving Greg a shattered man. But when Gwen and Andrew’s wedding photographer leaves them in the lurch, Gwen persuades Faith to use her photojournalistic talents and step in to save the day, putting Faith and Greg together in the same room for the first time in 10 years. Seeing each other again brings up a lot of memories and feelings- and sparking the intense chemistry they once shared. But with so much hurt, secrets and time between them- things are not going to be easy. What caused Faith to call off the wedding so abruptly? Why did she leave for Afghanistan? What has happened in the 10 years they’ve been apart? Is there a chance that they could rekindle their romance and be together again?
Well, Ms. Garland certainly made these two jump quite a few hurdles in the pursuit of happiness. Some of the angsty, push/pull, indecisions, and constant obstacles- really drove me crazy. I wanted to jump in there and sort them out. But it was all worth it in the end.
The story had amazing chemistry, sizzling encounters, funny moments, emotional times…. and lots of good fun reading!
I am really looking forward to getting “Must Be Crazy” (Book #3 in the Darling Cove Series), which releases in October.

Thank you, Ms. Garland!

Must Have Faith (Darling Cove #2)Must Have Faith by Deborah Garland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Must Have Faith by Deborah Garland is the second book in the Darling Cove series and a second chance story which was a joy to read. This book follows the story of Greg and Faith. After ten years apart they once again come face to face. Will secrets and lies and the truth be too much to bear? Can the past be left behind to start a new? Is there a happy ending or will the realise it was never meant to be? The wonderful characters are well developed and pop off the page. The plot is well thought out and has a few twists and turns that kept you hooked wanting to know how it ends, for better or worse. Was it all happiness and roses? NO, it was a very emotional ride and at times I wanted to shake some people and say “seriously” but the path is never straight forward in quest for love.

I enjoy Deborah’S stories I look forward to see what she comes up with next in what I hope is Sky’s story.

This is my 2nd book by this author and although I really liked the 1st in this series, I sincerely loved this one.

The authors writing style made for a smooth read and I finished it in just a couple hours. I loved the storyline and how it was a bit different than the normal 2nd chance at romance stories. The few twists and turns were placed perfectly and the ending had my heart racing and I could see it playing out, it felt like I was there watching it all happen. I loved the family aspect of this story, and the return of our first books couple.

I absolutely cannot wait to see who will get book 3, and although this is a series you can read this book as a standalone but I wouldn’t recommend it because you would be missing out on so much history with others in this story.

Loved it!!
