The Last Danann (Titanian Chronicles, Book 3) by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Desiree Ottinger

The Last Danann: Titanian Chronicles 2The Last Danann: Titanian Chronicles 2 by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed reading Kailen and Talaith’s story. Both are rather tortured souls that find completion with each other. There is a lot more history with Kailen compared to Talaith but I felt like the author did justice to both, considering that it is his story. This story is a continuation of the Titanians’ struggle with the daemon’s trying to take over with the help of their evil mages. I enjoyed seeing old characters throughout the story and the introduction of new ones.

Ms. Saccenti was wonderful in her descriptive language of all the different places this story takes the reader. I felt like I was experiencing the unique atmosphere of South America, New York, and Scotland with the characters. Her depiction of the characters were such that I found them relatable, too (in as far as you can with a paranormal character).

All in all, a very enjoyable read! The plot, the characters, and the different places kept me reading and I will continue reading this series to see how they defeat evil in the end!

Wow wow wow!!! I absolutely loved this book and have so much to say about it!

Vanessa and Grey have made the clocktower a home. However not everyone is happy about that. Grey’s mother has summoned Vanessa and has sent her on a mission to steal a sample of water from the waterfall and Fox Towers. Steph has also locked the Betwix so that Grey can not search out Vanessa and stop her. So she is left with her chameleon moth PK and Aroz as well as a little help from Raef. However things do not fo as plan and Aroz kidnaps her after she has obtained the sample and has hidden her in his Upperworld Palace. That is where Vanessa meets who she thinks is Aroz’s twin Beau or Bow. She will eventually see what her true destiny is along with all 3 of her men, Raef, Grey and the new and improved Aroz. Can’t wait for book 4. Hazel Storm has done it again and kept me on the edge of my seat.

This book pulled in from the beginning just like the first two in this series. This series just keeps getting better with each book. This one gets a little more steamy than the first two, I am definitely not complaining. In this one Vanessa finds herself in a race against time on a mission she needs to complete to save her soul but it doesn’t seem to be going as planned. I loved how we got to know some of the characters better in this story. This book starts up right where book two left off so it is my suggestion you read this series in order. This book is full of great characters, magic, danger, action and so much more. This is a must read and I cannot wait to read what comes next.

I was so excited to see the newest instalment to this series and it didn’t disappoint in the slightest – I think this one may be my favourite of the whole series which is hard to say because I’ve loved them all. The action in this story kept me on the edge of seat – Vanessa is such a great character to read about – I really like her. There was a real attraction between Vanessa and her captor and I could definitely feel that coming through the story. The author definitely knows how to captivate me through her writing and this hasn’t wavered at all over the three books! I was also extremely excited that there is more to come from this series too!! I cannot wait!!

The Bow is Book three in the Her Three Immortals Series and Hazel Storm brought her A-game when she wrote it; this book did not disappoint!

I couldn’t wait to find out more about Arroz when he would come up in the other books, and boy was he worth the wait! I’d say he was the perfect addition to their sundae, but each of these men are meals in themselves!

The plot, as expected, was great and kept you involved and attentive the whole time. Perhaps a better word would be consumed, this whole series will consume all your time and attention-and you will be 100% OK with that. Hazel is an absolute pro at throwing in more twists to keep you on your toes.

Another A+ for Hazel Storm in my book!

Talk about a gripping series!! I was surprised at every turn with this set and I can’t wait for the fourth book (The Box) to come out!! Seriously, I read these 3 books within a week. I couldn’t put them down!!! But lets talk about the first in the set, The Don! The Don of the Underworld is a heartless grumpy sexy guy looking for tainted souls to fill his quota. Well, enter Vanessa! Not a tainted soul at all, but she brings in a lot of drama to said Don and his step-brothers. All Vanessa wants to do is save her younger brother and bring out people’s inner beauty with her hair stylist work…… but this ticks off couple of Goddesses…. So…… Can she save her brother? Can she handle the Goddesses? Will they kill her, or worse?! And what about the Don? Will he taint her soul so he can collect it? And don’t forget about the step-brothers!! What will they have in store for her as well?! SO many questions to be answered!! Read the set to find out the answers and more!!!

Book three in this series finds Vanessa doing a favor for Grey’s mom. The problem is, it seems to be at the expense of Raef’s mom. Vanessa does get to return to her world with the hopes of preventing her brother from falling into Damian’s trap.
Opinion

I have really enjoyed this series so far and this book did not disappoint. It was filled with all of the same awesome level of romance, drama and intrigue.

Vanessa once again finds herself in a predicament after having come to the notice of Grey’s mother. With only 24 hours to complete her mission or suffer permanent death, she has little time to waste…but there is always time for romance! She gets transported back to the Overworld on a task where she is reunited with Raef briefly before she is kidnapped by Aroz to Upperworld.

I love how all of these characters have developed through this series and I love how each of the Gods is so very different from the others. The cliffhanger at the end will have you hoping Book 4 comes out very soon!

Wow again, I absolutely loved this book and am so glad to have found these books. This book mostly involves Vanessa, Aroz and Antaroz and most of it takes place in the upper world. Finding out the truth of what happened with Aroz and his twin and Vanessa’s prophecy is what is focused in this book. It was again such a fantastic development on the story with these characters and really just cemented this series as a definite favorite of mine. I love a good Greek retelling romance and this series is a perfect touch of myth retelling with an urban twist. Absolutely fantastic and highly recommended!

I was once again pulled right into this series, it was another great 5 star read.
The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing, you won’t want to put it down.

We pick up where the last book ended. In this book Vanessa goes on a mission and she has limited time to get it done. She is sent back to the Overworld to get some very special water. There is a twist when Aroz finds out she is there. Let’s just say things get very interesting.

Will Vanesa complete her mission on time?

Overall this was a great read, there are several twists and turns. I feel the more I read this series the better I am understanding the worlds and people in it. All of the characters added a great element to the story. You could potentially read this as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading from the beginning, things will make much more sense. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

The Bow (Her Three Immortals, #3)The Bow by Hazel Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

First off I am pleased to know, and share, that this is not the last in the series. The series keeps getting better and better.

I greatly enjoyed the character growth we see in Aroz in this book. It seemed he was barely mentioned in the other books and here he’s front and center (mostly). Go figure from the name of the book, right? I also enjoyed the introduction of Beau/Bow, and how that played out.

I like how Vanessa is growing more comfortable in her own (naked) skin with the guys, as well as in who she is. Sure, she still has growing to do, but don’t all characters? I’m interested to see how the author will continue to make all new characters connect to Vanessa going forward because she seems to be the focal point of everyone we meet, in some way or another. But honestly, can we just do away with all the mothers already?

We get more sex in this book, with more multi-partner scenes as well. Gladly though, this book is not all about the sex; sure we get more statements from the guys about Vanessa making them hard even when she’s not trying to, but the heist and drop off, is the main focal point, and the drama that ensues along the way.

The Bow is book 3 in Hazel Storm’s Her Three Immortals series. I am absolutely in love with this series.
Like previously stated, this should be read in order to get the most out of the series. Personally, I would not recommend reading it as a stand alone.

Vanessa is in love with Gray and Gray loves Vanessa. Because of this love, Gray gave in on his vow of abstinence and boy did this upset Gray’s mom. Vanessa have been taken to run an errand for Gray’s mom and have locked down the underworld to prevent Gray from leaving to help Vanessa.

Vanessa does happen to run into Raef and Aroz on her errand and she was able to make use of that time with the both of them. Raef is still madly in love with Vanessa and was very happy to be able to see her and spend what little time he had with her. Aroz had other plans for her and decided to take actions of his own.
The only problem now is to try to decide is Aroz is on her side or not. Will Gray or Raef find her in time?

This was definitely the best in the series so far! The spice was spicier, the story was more complex, and the many layers to the plot were weaved together nicely. New characters are introduced, and so many parts to the story begin to come together here. I think the romance in this third installment was also done better the rest, more passionate. There were several scenes that had me at the edge of my seat. Needless to say, I am definitely going to be picking up the next in this series!

I am loving this series! This is the third book and while I loved the last book this one really took me on a trip. Its so so good! I love what the author did with Aroz’s life. Not where I expected it to go at all but..wow! Of course while I enjoy seeing the boys..Vanessa is the star of the show. She surely shines and changes and grows in these books. My only regret is that we don’t find out what kind of temper tantrum Greys Mom is going to make. I think that would have rounded it out nicely.

I am eagerly looking forward to the next in the series.

This book truly tugs at the heartstrings. How is it even possible that Book 3 in this series is even more amazing than the other 2??? Hazel Storm really outdid herself with part 3 of this series and has quickly become one of my very favorite authors. This book is both heart wrenching and absolutely heart-warmingly, hauntingly beautiful at the same time. My emotions were on a roller coaster the entire time and was one ride I did not want to get off of for even one second. Time absolutely flew when I started reading this book. There is a twist the likes of which I didn’t see coming and I absolutely adore! This book will stick with me for a very long time to come and I am absolutely counting the days down until the final part of this series is released. Book #3 in the Immortal series, and another hit out the park by Hazel Storm. This steamy Mythological tale is still very spicy, dramatic, unpredictable, and inhabited by the gorgeous Gods. Book 3 allows us to see how Vanessa’s character has truly developed and adapted to the new world around her. She is finally coming into herself and finding her voice with help of her 3 lovers Grey, Raef, and Aroz. As we explore the Underworld, Overworld, and Upperworld we learn more about the Gods, and a forthcoming prophesy as it relates to Vanessa. This book continues the journey of our 4 faves with more plot twists and even more clues that tie the story together. I look forward to book 4!

In my opinion, this story gets better with each installment. And this book, as are the previous books, a fantastic romantic fantasy series filled with action and adventure. I think that this one delved into the romantic story a little more than the previous two books and helped develop the story even more. If you haven’t read this series, I highly recommend you pick it up. Now for me, I must patiently wait for book 4.

Vanessa has gained the heart of Grey but the wrath of his mother. It’s never a good idea to anger a god, especially a jealous female one. The Queen of the Underworld sends Vanessa on a quest which seems simple enough but ends up being anything but easy. She ends up in the Overworld again but not for long. Aroz whisks her away to his hidden palace for “protection “. How is she supposed to complete her mission when she’s kidnapped by another god?

This story is full of twists and turns and full of surprises. The plot thickens as the author delves deeper into the myths of the greek gods. I think she has done an amazing job weaving this series together. I was happy to see that there will be a fourth book. I’m looking forward to reading that one as well. I found that this book was different than the other two, in a good way. There was more of a story to it. There were more hit and erotic sex scenes as well, which were extremely fun to read. Good job Ms. Storm!
