This book was so freaking good! Callie and Evan were absolutely perfect for each other and I loved following their journey. I loved seeing more of Nicos relationship with Callie it really warmed my heart. Evans parents were also equally amazing. Both Evan and Callie have their struggles and demons but are still wonderful people just looking for the thing they are missing.

This is one of the most amazing, suspenseful, exciting books I’ve read in a long time. From the very beginning if the book, I was hooked. I stayed up so late devouring every word from it! There is not one thing I did not like about this book. It was executed so perfectly. I don’t want to write any spoilers, but it made it into my list of favorites. The plot, the characters, everything was exceptional, I don’t understand how something so incredibly intriguing was written so well. I would rate it 10 Stars if I could!

Sydney thought she was going away for a week vacation but she walked into a sick revenge game. Kage , part of a trio of brothers out for revenge, fell for Sydney. This dark romance is full of intense twists, turns and lots of unknown adventures. The steam is there as well. I found the story exciting and found myself wanting to find out what was coming up next. The twists are what kept me going. The characters were fairly well-developed. Spoiled rich kids with secrets were due to get their come-uppance. You found yourself rooting for the ones you didn’t expect to. The book has an air of suspense and that’s what I loved about it.

WOW. This book has all the twists and turns that you didn’t know you needed. You will not want to put this down until you unravel the entire mystery. Dark, twisty, steamy, and original. A must read and is now one of my favorite books! A. C. Kramer is a genius and I cannot wait to read more from this author!! Spring break at an exclusive resort, what can go wrong? Sydney is the scholarship girl, she honestly has no clue how she ended up here with all of these high society kids. Her friend Becca, the one who invited her, is one of the “elite thirteen” of Covington Industries. Becca is the first casualty of “Truth or Kill.” What was supposed to be a relaxing cabin in the mountain for Sydney is not at all what she gets when these heirs of the company are now turning on one another. I cannot resist a good dark romance, and this was one that everything rolled all into one. Suspense, murder, lust , and lots of drama. One invite changes it all for Sydney during her Spring Break. What started as a game turns out to be just as it states.. “Truth or Kill.” Sydney is alluring, confident, and intelligent. She was very blunt and honest and she was no fool at all during this book. When she meets Kage at the resort its instant that they have a connection. As a team up they begin to play the dangerous game knowing to play is to survive. The more they fight for survival the more they fall for each other in the process. While Sydney may be that wide eyed girl its clear that Kage is as anti-hero as they come. This story was a wild ride that will have you on edge until the end.

Wow!!! This book is brilliant!!! Deviously delicious and dark– I love A.C Kramer (and her alter-ego) sooooooo sooooooo much!!! Truth Or Kill is the second book in the Twisted Legends Collection by A.C. Kramer. Twisted Legends is a collaboration by 10 talented authors who each bring you their own twisted and reimaged take of a famous urban legend. Each book is a standalone- but after reading ‘Truth Or Kill’, I am hooked on the theme and can’t wait to explore the rest of the series to see what twisted delights the other authors have produced. For Truth Or Kill, Ms. Kramer has used the urban legend of “Killswitch”- about a videogame that self-destructs. And let me tell you- it made for a riveting read! What we get is an addictive romantic suspense about a quest for vengeance while revealing some dark truths using a ‘game’ as a means to that end. We join some college students on a retreat at a wilderness lodge during spring break. Without giving too much away and spoiling the story for you, the characters soon find themselves swept into a deadly game where the stakes are much higher than they realise. Not everything is as it seems. We ride along on this dark adventure as things turn deadly! And Wow! I love every single second!!! The twist and turns were quite clever and the whole story was really well thought out, creative, and so well executed! I am really hoping that we might get another couple of books from A.C. Kramer that follow on from “Truth Or Kill” – because I seriously need Judge, and Loki’s stories too. Hint, Hint! Pretty, pretty please Ms. Kramer…. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a riveting story with a bit of a dark and mysterious feel, steaming hot chemistry, and cleverly twisted reimaginings!!! Happy Reading!

If you’re looking for a dark read that pulls you in, this is the book for you. Sydney gets invited to a lodge for spring break, when she gets there she quickly realizes it’s not the type of lodge she had imagined. She is also still trying to figure out why she was even invited. At check in she meets Kage.
Kage realizes there is something different about Sydney, she isn’t like the others. They start to connect and get closer. But is he really a friend or does he have other plans for her?
Things start to take a scary twist and get even more interesting as the game continues. You will have to 1-click to see what happens. The author does a great job with her writing, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. Some things did make me cringe and I will warn that there may be triggers for some. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I went into this book with an open mind as its not my usual genre HOWEVER I am so glad I picked up this books! A.C. Kramer might be my new author to watch because as much as I loved this book I think I need to read everything I can by this author.
This book was written so well and had such a hook that the reader was brought in and couldn’t leave! The characters are wonderful, the story is well written and the author was able to bring the readers in so that we lived the book with the characters!

What a fitting title! I was intrigued by the title and the description. I figured it would be dark, and it was, but I loved it. I finished it in just a couple hours. I loved not only Sydney’s character, but Kage’s as well. The author did a great job of world building, as I felt like I was there. It is definitely a page turner with plenty of twists! It will keep you guessing. If you like dark and twisted stories, this is a great choice.

Sydney is invited to go to The Lodge with some classmates for Spring Break. What she thinks is going to be a vacation spent with hoity-toity privileged rich kids….but it turns out to be anything but that! She finds herself as a pawn in a game of Truth or Kill. Being that she doesn’t have the secrets, or want to know their secrets, she needs to find out how to survive when she is expendable to all the other players. She does find herself drawn to Kage…but he seems to have his own agenda. Kage is a dark, yet somehow also intriguing, character. He trusts no one, despite wanting to have Sydney for himself. She must prove herself…which turns out to be difficult to read at times. Understanding why things have to happen and reading them actually happening is tormenting. However, the sheer ruthlessness and depravity of the game was captivating. I found myself pulled into this story and couldn’t step away from it…even though it felt like I needed to at times. It is captivating. Sydney and Kage are both strong characters. Sydney is not afraid to stand up for herself or take people’s crap…but she also knows when to follow someone else’s lead and align herself with people for a common goal. Overall, an entertaining story that I enjoyed reading!

I have a new favorite Genre. Author. Both! I finished this novel yesterday and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. The way that the author wrote the story, integrating the characters and the emotions and the points of view throughout, as well as establishing the scene and allowing for the reader to be completely immersed in the Lodge and the Game.
J, K, and L’s backstory is immaculately woven and explains why they live the way they live, and what their endgame is. I will most certainly be reading more by this author and have sent a link to this lovely literary adventure to a few folks already. Was there a Game? I guess you will have to read this thriller and find out! Amazing, just didn’t want it to end!

I really enjoyed this story. I loved the twist and turns. The plot of the story was unique and gripping. I couldn’t stop reading until I got to the end. The author does an amazing job with the characters. I love how strong and determined Sydney’s character is. I also love how dark Kage is. His struggle to do what he needs to so or protect the woman he has fallen for is interesting to read, you can feel his struggle. This is a very dark romance, with twists and turns. I loved the idea of a game being played and making a decision between being truthful or losing their life.
Sydney was invited to join her friends on a retreat however this is no normal retreat. There is a sinister plot at hand which will see some of the people on the retreat end up dead. But the reason for this will be a shock to everyone involved.
Sydney needs to find out the reason she was brought here and find a way to survive and escape with her life.
Kage is a worker at the retreat or so everyone thinks. However he has a secret. Kage is a killer and also one of the 3 masterminds behind the game of Truth or kill. His plan is to stick to the plan and make sure the people on the retreat get what they deserve. However Sydney wasn’t part of that plan and her appearance has changed things. As his feelings for her grow he doesn’t want her to be another murder victim he wants her for himself but will she be able to deal with everything he has done or will she know to much and reject him which means she will have to die.

OMG!!!! I honestly loved this book so much, from the mysteriousness of “The Lodge” to the “staff”I am so glad that I chose it. Sydney and Kage remind me of Christian Grey and Anastasia with their physical descriptions of the romance between them. I can’t wait to see what happens in book 2, with Sydney, Kage, L, and J. I am hoping that the other two find love as well. I seriously am fascinated with the outcome of this story. I feel like the endgame didn’t really happen that there is more to it.

Saved by Love is the seventh book in Bellevue Bullies series. This is a wonderfully written story that will definitely have your emotions all over the place. I suggest grabbing some kleenex you will definitely need some. This is a fairly new author to me and holy cow I was expecting to be hooked so quickly. Although this can be read as a standalone I’m definitely going to go check out the other books in this series. This author knocked it out of the park with this one her style of writing and attention to detail along with her creative characters that are relatable and fully developed wow. I wasn’t prepared for the emotional rollercoaster ride this story takes you on but man oh man its totally worth a few tears. I absolutely loved Evan and Callie’s story . He’s struggling with mental health issues and she’s a fierce gymnast who is determined to to help Evan . These two are just amazing together. I don’t want to give to much away. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Evan Alder is one of the Alder greats within the hockey world, although Evan is not as confident as his twin brother so decides for his mental health to medically retire from Hockey. With this decision done he then looks at what does he really want. So, when he decides to go to school and become a sports therapist, he has anxiety where this is the right path for him.
When he arrives he is then assigned the RA position in the Hockey house which is giving him anxiety but also he is assigned as the sports therapist to the Gymnastics team, the only problem is he has no clue about the sport, but as time goes on he does both jobs to his best ability but when a certain girl catches his eye, can he keep the job and his love life separate?
Callie has struggled to get where she is and being enrolled into one of the top schools for gymnastics, so when the new term starts in walks someone, she thought she would ever see, Evan Alder. Although Evan has been a fantasy to her for years as her “dad” plays with his twin brother, so she must walk carefully regarding pursuing him, until they see him running and then all bets are off and Callie declares to the girls that he is hers for the taking.
As Evan and Callie get closer can they maintain a relationship or will other factors knock them off course.
This is the first book I have read in this series or by the author and I can confirm that this can be read as a stand-alone book, although it has piqued my interest to read the series from the beginning and the other spin off series to see how the other characters got together.
The two main characters were brilliantly developed, and I like the fact that the main male character struggled with his mental health and issues which normally are portrayed by female characters in books. The chemistry between the two of them charged off the page and was crafted beautifully within the story. I loved the way that Callie’s life starts off rough and with her sister’s sheer grit and determination to get her were she is has given Callie and great role model to follow and then with Nico’s fatherly protection it was lovely to finally see her have love in both a relationship and family. The story was well developed and flowed easily and held my interest until the end.
I look forward to reading more books by this author and hopefully add a few more book boyfriends to my ever-growing list.

This book is book seven of the series. It can be read as a standalone. This is the first book I’ve read by this author.
Evan prioritized himself over the sport he loves more than anything. Now retired from the NHL, Evan is going home and he’s going to work on his mental health. Going home leads him to the University of Bellevue and essentially to Callie. Callie knows what it’s like to have a limited number of people on your side. She makes it a point to show others the kind of care that her sister showed her. When she meets Evan, she is determined to be there for him.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were so relatable. Real people with real problems. I also liked that Evan’s struggle with his mental health and him prioritizing it was shown. People think men have to be all tough all the time and that’s not realistic. I really enjoyed these characters together and now need to read the rest of the series!

Saved by Love is the seventh book in the Bellevue Bullies series by Toni Aleo. How have I not heard o this author before now? OMG, I have been missing out- but not anymore. After getting this little taste I will definitely be going back to read all the books she has already released on her catalogue, as well as keeping an eye out for any new releases. This is the seventh book in a series, and even though it could be read as a standalone, I get the feeling that it would be an even better reading experience if I’d read the previous books in the series before starting on this one. This is an emotional new adult sports romance, a bit of a friends to lovers with drama, struggles, challenges, mental health issues, banter, touching scenes, connection, finding yourself/finding purpose again, friendship, support, and also about finding love unexpectedly. This Evan and Callie’s story. And what a story they have to tell. They are so well developed with their own unique personalities, quirks, flaws, and inner struggles- that made them so realistic, and entirely relatable. I was completely invested in them and the outcome of their story. Their story tugged at my heartstrings. Especially Evan’s struggles with his mental health. So glad I stumbled on this author- I can’t wait to explore the rest of her work/s. Happy reading!

By his own definition, Evan is a worthless failure unable to live up to great Adler hockey legacy. He has failed himself and let his whole family down. A beautifully written story about how love can truly conquer all. I loved how the author tackled the issue of mental health and the inner demons that many of us struggle with daily as we doubt our own worth. It shows how even those that seemingly have everything going for them also struggle with the feelings of failure, rejection, and low self worth. I highly recommend!

Callie is attracted to Evan at first sight. She gives him space to allow him to get to know her and he falls in love with her. Callie has been through a lot as well as Evan but both have very supportive family members. I say Callie open Evan’s mind she broaden his prescriptive which is very positive. Wow! Just wow. This book seriously made me have all the feelings. This book was just fantastically written and beautifully done! Meeting Evan and Callie just makes me want to wrap myself around them and protect them from every bad thing that’s ever happened. Evan walking away from Hockey to preserve his mental health spoke thousands of words to me. Mental health isn’t usually written so well, but this author took it and ran with it and did a phenomenal job. Callie is a head strong, go getter kind of gal. She tries her hardest to be the best and sometimes being the best isn’t all that great. Watching Calle’s and Evans relationship blossom was amazing. It felt like it wasn’t rushed, it was well paced, and came together beautifully. I’m highly recommending this book to my friends because I know they need to read it too and feel all the feelings I felt!

I have just one word for this book….AMAZING. Having never read any part of this series I was originally worried about starting with book seven. However put author provides just amazing characters and details, that even with the cross over characters the story just seemed to click into place. This story was so sweet and definitely knew how to pull on the heart strings. Personally I just really loved it as a whole and I look forward to going back and reading the rest of the series.

Evan has returned to school after stepping away from his hockey career to focus on his mental health. (Kudos to the author for tackling this difficult and overlooked subject). He takes a position as a training for the female gymnastics team. This is where he meets Callie. Callie is a gymnast. She is a fierce character that loves those close to her with all she has. Callie has had a crush on Evan for years…and now he’s part of her team’s staff. She knows that she wants to get to know him and be a part of his life.
Their relationship is filled with understanding, support, and a love that most strive for. While coming to terms with his own struggles and finding a way to work on his own mental health, he finds that Callie is in his corner as his biggest supporter. These two melted my heart and I could feel the emotions coming off the page. This series has had many great couples…but these two are probably my favorite!

This book was amazing from start to finish. The characters are amazing and there is so much depth to them. Plus tackling a hard issue like mental health and for a man to handle it is almost unheard of and yet so realistic and beautifully portrayed.
Evan Adler thought he had it all until it all came crashing down. After medically retiring from the NHL to deal with his mental health issues he moves to his hometown and becomes a physical trainer for the girls gymnastics team. Now this is where Callie enters the picture, as the Universities star gymnast, she fatefully lands in the hands of Evan to tape her ankle. Callie’s fierce love and unending support are the rays of sunshine Evan has needed to clear out his black days. Together they can do anything, even build the future they both envisioned!
I really loved this story of love, heartbreak and challenges to overcome. It is refreshing to break the stigma of male mental health issues and one this author has tackled with superior grace. This is book 7 in the series but they can all be read as single books. I recommend reading them all but if you have to choose then choose this one it is unforgettable!

This is the first book I have read from this absolutely amazing and gifted author. She has a way of getting you deep into the soul of the characters. I had tears streaming down my face by her talent of creating such depth. I loved this book. Evan and Callie both struggle with issues that will unfold throughout the book. You will cheer these characters on and fall in love with them. The messages in this book were very poignant and spoke to me loudly. I needed to hear a lot of what the author was trying to get across. I am better emotionally for reading this book. I don’t usually read books twice but I believe with this one, I will do so when life is giving me lemons and I need to refocus. Thank you to the author who has opened my eyes.

Evan a NHL star chooses to medically retire for his own mental health as he has severe anxiety and depression. He goes back to Bellevue to finish his degree and while there works as a sports trainer. Enter Callie , a gymnast a fierce and determined woman. These two come together so flawlessly but have struggles to overcome together that will have you laughing and crying and wanting to just wrap your arms around these two and hold tight. The addressing of mental health in this story was powerful and realistic and I enjoyed reading it.
Even though this was Book 7 it can be read entirely as a stand alone!

I thoroughly enjoyed this contemporary sports romance, which was the first book I’ve read by this author, but it definitely will not be the last! I was completely hooked from page one and felt so immersed in the story that I carried on reading it late into the night. The storyline focuses on, Evan Adler who is medically retired from the NHL, and Bellevue’s star gymnast Callie Pearce. Evan feels he retired before he could live up to the ‘Adler Legacy’, but that he had to for the sake of his mental health. Having returned to his hometown, he gets a position at the University of Bellevue as the athletic trainer for the women’s gymnastics team. This is where he first meets Callie, and their connection is immediate from the moment Evan tapes Callie’s ankle. Callie grew up with only her sister for support, which has made her be more caring to others, and so when she discovers that Evan is suffering, she’s even more determined to get to know him. The storyline flows well making this an easy read, but with plenty going on plot wise to keep me happily turning the pages. Evan and Callie are great main characters, realistic, relatable and likeable and I felt engaged with both of them. I liked how their relationship developed throughout the book, and I felt that Evan’s mental health problems were dealt with sensitively and realistically. Although this is part of a series, I happily read it as a standalone story, however, I am now keen to read the previous stories. An enjoyable and engaging read, and one which I definitely recommend.

Evan has left the NHL to take care of his mental health which was such a strong and hard decision but he doesn’t feel strong. Callie is a gymnast, kind and generous woman who has also been through some tough stuff. There is chemistry right away between these two. I loved watching both of these characters grow stronger individually and together for each other. The author does a great job making you swoon and go through an array of emotions throughout the story. The other characters in this book help bring this story to life. Evan and Callie’s families play a part in their lives. This was a good read and I’m glad I chose to take a chance on an author I haven’t read before.

This story is cute, inspirational, raw and so relatable.
The two main characters are Callie and Evan. Callie is a champion gymnast and Evan used to be a pro hockey player until his mental health takes a turn for the worse and he searches out for a new career path back home in Tennessee.
Both of these main characters have a rough past and find solace in each others company, the relationship grows from crush, to friends and then so much more. The struggles in this book are so relatable and raw that is just captivates you and makes you fall in love with their story. So much so, that I lost sleep because I couldn’t put this book down.
If you are looking for a good sports romance book you will love this one! I highly recommend.

This is the 7th book in the Bellevue Bullies series. I haven’t read the other books so this one can be read as a standalone however I feel that if the books were read in order then the relationships between the characters would be more defined and the reader would have a better connection with them. That being said it didn’t deter me enjoying this slow burning romance. The author does an amazing job with the characters. It was nice to see a male character that suffers with mental illness and not being afraid or ashamed to admit it.
In this story we follow Evan and Callie. Evan has given up his dream job as a professional hockey player due to his struggles with mental illness. Now he’s got himself a job as an athletic trainer for the gymnastics team. Evan wants to focus on regaining and keeping his mental health on track and doesn’t expect to meet someone who truelly gets him. Being who he is Evan is surrounded by girls who want to be with him but no one actually wants to see and know the real him.
Callie has had a tough upbringing. Along with her sister they have had to fight to get to where they are today. Callie has always had a crush on Evan so when she realises he’s the new trainer she is overwhelmed. Could this be her chance to get him to notice her. But with every other girl throwing themselves at him will she even get a look in.
What follows is a slow building romance as Callie realises she needs to take a step back and understand Evan’s position and his problems so that they can move forward together and be stronger because of it. This is a really emotional story about love, mental health and the impacts and how allowing just 1 person to see the real you can change your life for the better. It’s a beautifully written story which Will have readers hooked.

This book was everything. It was personal and full of all the feels. Callie has overcome some pretty huge obstacles in her life and knows what she deserves and she won’t give it up. She is spunky and had her eyes set on Evan from the first time she saw him. She is a gymnast and has been most of her life. Now, Evan on the other hand seems so relatable for me he just took a big step and made the personal choice that caught a few people off guard. He is the sweet Adler twin and the complete opposite of Callie. Their story is one that will hook you in and you will just want more. Takes you into another element of life that isn’t your own but yet you could relate to. Another amazing book by the great author Toni Aleo.
