One of my favorite genres is romantic comedy, toss in a little paranormal spice and you have everything you could want to keep you reading.
Set in my #1 wish to visit cities, New Orleans.. Katrina is a fasting succubus, barely managing to contain her devilish sexy self, this ragged control is put to the test when she meets Gabe, a broken hearted incubus, and together they set the pages on fire.
With great character development, some well described New Orleans locales, the author keeps the pages turning as our paranormal paramours find their way through the twists and turns of their adventure.

This book will draw you in and keep you entertained. The back and forth between Gabe and Katrina is great fun and will keep you turning the pages. I have not read the other books in this series and I was able to keep up with the pace and was not at all confused about the storyline or what was taking place. Highly recommend this book.

I really enjoy this series and it just keeps getting better and better. The story of Katrina and Gabe made me laugh and get all goofy because I do enjoy people finding love and happiness. I also like meeting old friends from other stories in the series. It helps to interlink the story, making it have more meaning. Swipe Right to Bite is a fun read. If you enjoy reading about demons finding love then this book is for you.

Who doesn’t love to read a story about boy meets girl but with a demon twist? This is the 6th book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series and it captures your attention right from the start. You find yourself rooting for the two main characters, opposites who completely attract. The story moves along quick and you find yourself wanting more. This is the first book in the series that I’ve read and I can’t wait to devour the others books and then hope upon hope that this series will continue.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Swipe Right to Bite is the sixth book in the New Orleans Nocturnes. I haven’t read any of this author’s previous books but I didn’t feel like I had missed anything by picking this series up at book six.
This is not my typical type of book, but I was looking for something a bit different. I am not a huge paranormal fan but when I saw it involved romance, I thought I would give it a try, and I am happy I did.
This book was hard to put down and there were many times I lost track of the time while I was reading it, especially when reading before bed!
I enjoyed the enemies-to-lovers storyline that had lots of humor with it.
Overall I will definitely be picking up other books by this author in this series and would highly recommend this book if you enjoy paranormal and romance.

Swipe Right to Bite: A Frightfully Funny Paranormal Romantic Comedy (New Orleans Nocturnes Book 6) by Carrie Pulkinen – Review by Roxsanne Lesieur.

Swipe Right to Bite (New Orleans Nocturnes, #6)Swipe Right to Bite by Carrie Pulkinen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Katrina lives in New Orleans and is the creator of Swipe Right To Bite, it is a dating app for the supernatural beings in the city and because she is a succubus, she knows all about sex and the enjoyment it can bring, even though she is fasting so that she can escape from Satan and win her freedom. Gabe is an incubus and has just moved to New Orleans for a fresh start and to see whether his work will be as well received within the supernatural community as it is in the human communities he has worked with before.

Katrina’s app is the most popular one of its kind, in fact it is the only one of its kind, however when she finds out about the new demon in town and how he is about to ruin her life, she is not impressed in the slightest and decides that she will pay this demon a visit and concocts a plan to do just that, however, it all backfires when he decides to try and turn the tables by gate-crashing an event of hers in return. This doesn’t just annoy Katrina, it starts to cause some problems for everyone else around her, especially when her demon shines through and complicates matters.

Katrina cannot abide this other sex demon and is determined to run him out of town, despite the fact that he is the one person she could break her fast with and not destroy in the process, but she tries to ignore that and plan his demise. Meanwhile, Gabe is determined to show Katrina what she is missing and makes up his mind how to do it, but will he be able to prove that sex demons can experience more than just sex, or will the heat they create in New Orleans scorch them both instead? This is a rip roaring paranormal romance with comedy and romance in spades, as well as a whole heap of trouble which will keep you hooked from start to finish.

Katrina is a succubus who doesn’t believe in love. Gabe is an incubus who disagrees. They clash when Gabe’s emotional intimacy counselling seminars impact Katrina’s hookup app business. There are plans made and secrets that must be kept. Katrina and Gabe have instant chemistry and it is fun to watch them dance around each other and try not to let the other person ‘win’. Their banter is amusing and the some of the situations had me laughing. This is a good book for when you need something light and witty.

This book is the 6th book of the “New Orleans Nocturnes” series. I have not read the other books in this series but the book was completely okay to read as a stand alone. This is my first book I have read by this author. Let me tell you, she is HILARIOUS! After reading this book I am definitely going to read more from this author.

This book is about a succubus, named Katrina, she is trying to be celibate so the devil will forget about her. One day an incubus by the name of Gabe shows up in town and everything is starting to fall apart for Katrina.

Katrina has a hook up app by the name of swipe right to bite, its her way of not relapsing in the sex department. Gabe is an inspirational talker about love and how to find it without the psychical aspect. Since he started these talks, Katrina’s clientele has been falling.

She wants to run him out of town and he wants to co-exist in the same town.

This book was so fun to read. It was witty, punny, sarcastic, romantic, sexy, all in all just fun. I will be looking into more books by this author.

This is not my typical sort of read, but I was looking for something fun and entertaining and this was definitely it! I haven’t read anything else in this series or by this author, but I didn’t feel like I was missing any information. I loved this book so much that I will be going back and reading the rest of the series for sure! This is the kind of book you stay up late to devour in one sitting when you intended to just read for a little bit before bed. That’s exactly what I ended up doing!
