An alternate universe where the Romanov girls survived? Sign me up. The author definitely did her due diligence in researching this topic and incorporated fact flawlessly with the fiction. In this story the 4 Romanov daughters have been successfully smuggled out from the Bolshevik’s and are in hiding in England. Olga is doing anything she can to keep the family together while they investigate the rumors that their mother is still alive. This was a very well written book that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

This is book two in the Made in Heaven series. I loved this as much as the first book. Similar to the first book our 3 characters first meet in dreams as children. The FMC keeps people out of her life after she looses her mom in an accident but she can’t keep her men out, no matter how hard she tries. Luckily her guys don’t take the push back laying down and soon push past her fears for an hea full of steam!

TL Clark has taken the overwhelming task of writing a novel and broken it down in to achievable steps. The friendly manner in which she has chosen to voice her book makes it easy to read and understand. It’s very clear that time and energy has been put into writing this book so that the reader/aspiring writer can set themselves up for success. TL Clark has 10 years of experience in writing and publishing as well which helps the reader establish a connection to the author as well. If you want to write a historical novel, this is a wonderful tool to have in your back pocket!

Book one of the Echo Series introduces us to Dean and Rea. When they meet, neither of them wants to find someone and while they have attraction, Rea thinks Dean is a jerk and Dean just wants to be left alone. Phew! Make sure you read Ms. Storm’s trigger warning note before you begin! If, after that you still are in you won’t be disappointed. Our FMC lost her vivacious best friend in a NYC girls trip. In an effort to get revenge she transforms herself from studious and shy to a femme fatale with the help of a mafia family. Using her skills she becomes the mistress of the head of the Vaccaro crime family but has feelings for the son. The MMC doesn’t want to be distracted by his father’s mistress. He has goals, take down his father then take over as head of the family. Both are at odds with one another while fighting their desires. While it does get dark and does have a couple of slow parts, ultimately the story is 1000% worth the journey!
This is Book 6 of the Masters of the Consulate. Even though it is the 6th book it can be read alone without confusion as to what the other books were about. That being said, reading in order does help to build a nuance that you’ll miss otherwise. In this book Calabrea is given a team to help track down and bring in a traitor. On this team is Tansia, a psychic who has her own issues from the past that she is working through while getting drawn deeper and deeper into the world of pure bloods vs the traitors. When she’s attacked and left for dead she and Master Calabrea are faced with decisions that are life altering decision (literally).

Savage Start is a short prequel (55 pages) to the Hidden Valley Elite series. You are introduced to Riley and Cole, our FMC and MMC. Riley comes from a grifter/con artist life and, while she wants to have a calm, stay in one place lifestyle, she is always ready and waiting to do what needs to be done to survive. Cole comes from a wealthy background where all that glitters is definitely not gold. These two meet at a party and sparks fly leaving them and the reader on a cliffhanger that makes you want to jump straight into the first full length novel. March 30th cannot come soon enough.
This is third book in the Green Brotherhoor series. In this story our FMC is a competitive gymnast turned stripper who has a dangerous ex. The H is a Seal who is attracted to strippers not because of their seductive dancing but for the athleticism and skill needed. Our couple meets and falls in love but a certain ex boyfriend has other thoughts. He teaches her how to defend herself and she shows him that there is such a thing as a right person. This was a fairly quick read and very well written!

A violent past with guilt causing him to drown it out with alcohol makes him belief he deserves the bad and no good. Until the FMC Anne comes along. While she knows he has demons to face she believes that people are a product of their past and at heart are inherently good. She sticks by him but he doesn’t know if it’s enough to face all of his past

This was a great first book and I can’t wait for the second!

Are you kidding me?!? This is so good! I loved each couple in this set of 6 stories! Savage and Danika are up first and are hilarious and steamy! In addition to the dangers a mutual enemy brings this story is a page turner! Coming in second we meet Skye and are reintroduced to Gabe, a DAWG in true form! Of course these two have the issue of being the little sister and best friend of the over protective Savage but that just makes their attraction even more fun!! Third up is Stone (the baby Hawke of the family) and Nora (Danika’s little sister). Stone comes back into town with a handful of vices that hide a secret he’s trying to escape, Nora quit college and found freedom stripping in her BIL Savage’s club. These two meet and help one another find themselves once again. Storm and Landon are our 4th couple and this is more getcha in your feels and less drama than the others. Still phenomenal and speaks to the writer letting the character’s allowing the story to go where it’s supposed to not where the readers expect. In the fifth story we get Caroline (a Hawke family friend) and Saint (Savage’s bouncer for his club). Add in the witty word play that I’ve come to associate with this author and a little bit of intrigue and drama and this story will keep the pages turning! Last up in this family legacy is the story between Byron and Luca. Being a mob boss is hard enough, add in being gay and you have a very tough choice ahead of you. What will the choice be? Tell his family and risk his position or stay in the shadows and loose something beautiful and once in a lifetime.
This was such a cute story! We have the playboy actor who gets caught in a compromising position who’s trying to save his rep. His leading lady (aka HEA) is a regular woman who’s spent a good part of her recent life dedicated to her sister. Very different personalities that are trying to accomplish a goal. The dual POV helps the reader get to know the characters and connect with the story. This is the second book in this series but can be read as a standalone. So good!

This is the second book in the Trading Hearts Trilogy. Even though it’s the second book you don’t have to read the first to read the second. Austin, a main character in the first book, lost the love of his life to his twin so he’s naturally gun shy. When the wonderful Casey falls, quite literally in his lap, he is enamored but guarded. Casey has her own hesitations which makes this story cute and light hearted with a little bit of the drama and anxiety that comes from these kinds of situations. Great story with an hea.

The main characters start off as friends from the same group who run into each other in Iceland. They get to be better friends and fake ( not for long) date. The suspense and action is well written. There are plot twists that surprise you and keep you on your toes. Some of the scenes may be too spicy for some (not me but some people may not like it). All in all great book!

This is a kids story about sibling rivavlry. The author sets it up to show a long standing fight between the brother and sister. It culminates with a beach visit where the brother thinks being the hero is better and the sister says it’s better to be the villain. The story concludes with the siblings building and destroying multiple sand castles in an epic hero/villain battle. Cute story!
This is an incredible story with wonderful writing. Our FMC is a professional piano player and finds herself thrown back into Nazi occupied France during WW II. There she meets her HEA and is pulled into helping the resistance. The action and romance that ensues keeps you reading all through the night! Great book!
Our couple meets at a party in costume. All they know about each other is what they’re wearing. Then they part but not without our FMC being pregnant! However she has another secret, a crazy scary ex-husband who finds her and her son at the same time as the MMC and kidnaps them. This story is quick and keeps your attention from the first page. Can’t wait to continue with this series!!

Lots of mystery and intrigue go along with this book, in addition to the heat between this couple. I haven’t read the first book but will be going back to it after finishing this one! The mystery surround the Freemasons, the dominating personality of the MMC, and the personality of the FMC are a winning combination!

This collection of poetry is very intriguing. It goes through a variety of emotions and situations that allow for the reader to identify something somewhere in the book. This was a very good story. Our FMC finds herself in a mansion and new school where the MMC is less than pleased. What set this apart was that while there was catty girls it wasn’t OTT. While Beckekett was a jerk, he wasn’t impossibly so. He also didn’t “run the school” like other male leads have done in other books.

When the dating world irl mimics that of the zombie world of this story! This was a short read but very deep. Our main character is just trying to find love in a zombie world but each of her dates, despite clever disguises, can’t hide their hunger. It isn’t until the end that our girl finds the comfort she was looking for, and it was what she already had. Quick and good read!

Decisions decision!! Our FMC had a great high school boyfriend and then went and fell in love with his twin. She finds out she’s pregnant and decides to leave town to save her bf the humiliation. Years later the three are entangled with each other again and she has to make a choice! Great first book!
This book comes with a warning from the author that it is not for young adults as it deals with very serious and deep ideas. Our FMC suffers with mental health issues and severe depression. Her HEA is supportive and helps her but you will possibly need to take breaks to deal with the heartaches! That being said it is well written and definitely a story worth reading (especially if you enjoy some bdsm).
