Kismet Heart: A Protector Romance (A Surviving Love Novel Book 1) by Brinda Berry – Review by Lisa Helmick

Kismet Heart: A Protector Romance (A Surviving Love Novel Book 1)Kismet Heart: A Protector Romance by Brinda Berry
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This story is almost non-stop action! I loved it! This easily kept my interest and I kept reading right along. The characters are mysterious and different. As the story moves along little bits and pieces come out…just enough to keep me turning that one more page.

I love Ace’s real name. How unique! He brings some security and thoughtfulness to Malerie’s life. Malerie is the one to keep an eye on though. She has had a tragic and strange life. She always makes me wonder “what is going on in her head”.

Over all it’s a story that brings action and mystery to the forefront. It will make you curious, hopeful and maybe a bit crazy.

It flowed effortlessly from chapter to chapter and had me hooked from the very beginning. It’s a mentally visual read that made me connect to the story even more. I loved Sarah and following along on her journey was entertaining, action-packed and brilliant from the start. I highly recommend this read and anything else that this author brings!

Shattered Snow (The Mirror Chronicles Book 1) by Rachel Huffmire – Review by Rochelle Ferguson

Shattered SnowShattered Snow by Rachel Huffmire
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A reimagining of the classic Snow White fairytale. I have to admit I was initially apprehensive when reading this but I was completely surprised by how much I enjoyed this concept. The book was action-packed from the very beginning and did not disappoint. I loved the time travelling aspect and while it is not a book I would normally pick up; I definitely do not regret it.
However, I would have liked for Rachel Huffmire to develop the characters more to make this a five-star read.

The Mummy of Monte Cristo by J Trevor Robinson – Review by Laura Furuta

The Mummy of Monte CristoThe Mummy of Monte Cristo by J. Trevor Robinson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Mummy of Monte Cristo
By J Trevor Robinson
5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading the book The Mummy of Monte Cristo by J Trevor Robinson. It is a story that includes betrayal, vengeance, secrets, and danger. I loved the character of Edmond Dantes. He is a man that should have had a wonderful life. Things look bright for him until he loses everything. What does the future hold for Edmond? Read this book to find out. This is an amazing story that had me turning pages to find out what happens next. It had my emotions going up and down all the way through. Edmond is a character that you can empathize with for what happens to him as well as understand the reasons for the path that he embarks on. There are many characters in this story. Some of them have selfish goals and only look out for themselves. They crave power and influence while trampling over those who they consider beneath them. Others are driven to make sure things are set right. The book is brilliantly written, and the author makes the story and the characters come alive. Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining story that you will not want to put down until you had finished the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

A Beach Wedding To Die For (Cozy Mysteries To Die For Book 2) by Judy Moore – Review by Jenni Bishop

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Beach Wedding To Die For (Cozy Mysteries To Die For Book 2) by Judy Moore is as the title says a cozy mystery crime story. This well-crafted tale is a quick but engaging read that is full of twists and turns that keeps the pages turning. This who dunnit, has plenty of suspects and you are kept wondering right before the killer is revealed.

A runaway bride, two jilted ex’s, a hopeful groom, a wedding, a murder and of course Beck O’Rourke our amateur super sleuth is on the case again much to the chagrin of detective Devon Mathis. What I didn’t expect was the ending.

A Beach Wedding To Die For (Cozy Mysteries To Die For Book 2) by Judy Moore

5 ++++++ Stars

I loved this book so so so much! I’ve said this before but Judy Moore is my go to for cozy mysteries. These characters, especially Scratchoff..Absolutely a favorite of mine. Beck is someone I want to be friends with, I want to rent a room at Beach Reads and be her BFF, LOL

I usually suspect I know who did what in these books, In more times than not I’m completely wrong but I always try. This author always messes with my head and once again I had no clue…I think it crossed my mind once but quickly dismissed itself and I was on a whole different track. Then that ending….it had me asking myself….What would I have done?

This author has such a way with weaving her words into a smooth flowing story, one that I never want to end. I love what is and even what isn’t going on with Beck and Devon and I’m praying that there’s a future book planned involving more of Lizzie and of course much more interaction between Scratchoff and Grammy.

You can absolutely read this as a standalone, but I’m so glad I didn’t, there are a couple books I’d recommend reading before this one just to get everyone’s history and why they are so special in this book!

Bring on The Tennis Pro, I can not wait!!!

AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!!
