Parker, Oklahoma and it’s residents have stolen my heart! I absolutely loved this book. I love the small town vibe, I loved the humor and loved just how easy it was to fall into this story. Breckin was heartbroken. Griff was heartbroken. Finding love after heartbreak and navigating those scary waters is so bittersweet. Also, relatable. It’s not always sunflowers and daisies in love. This book was the perfect book to cuddle up with and enjoy, I couldn’t put it down!

If you like Hallmark type holiday stories, this read is for you. It was a bit to sweet for me as I normally prefer my reads on the darker side, (though sometimes I revisit trying sweet stories just to see if my tastes have changed), but it was a well-written story. I didn’t really care for the way things played out with Ben when he first meets Thea. He seemed a little creepy, but maybe that’s because he was really forward. It felt very contrasted to the way he is throughout the rest of the story, which I found a little too perfect. But, if you are looking for low angst, contemporary romance, take-her-to-meet-the-family, and HEA, this is the story you want.
I love a good mafia book and better yet a series. After reading the first book of this series, I couldn’t wait to learn more about the five families. Blood Oath, doesn’t disappoint. Sofia and Enzo were meant to be from the very beginning despite an arranged marriage to be for Enzo to another girl. This romantic suspense gives you a good dose of mafia, true love and friendship all rolled into a great story.

But he’s not here for pleasure because he has business. However, Brant and Aubrey seem to have a connection they can’t ignore while at the same time, Brant’s bad luck of being someone’s target seems to be including Aubrey.
I really enjoyed reading this romantic suspense story. Although this is the fourth book in a series, I had no problem following the story. It definitely could be a stand alone book. The characters were easy to connect to and I couldn’t help myself rooting for Brant and Aubrey to connect as a couple. It took me a while to catch on to who was causing so much trouble in Brant’s life. The story kept my attention and I really didn’t want to put it down. I’m sure I’ll be reading the author’s other books in the series soon.

This author has done it again! I really enjoyed book one in the Mafia Elite series, and I highly recommend you read it first before Blood Oath, the second in the series. This author has a way with words and makes the characters pop in this series and leaves you wanting to keep reading to find out more.
Blood Oath was a hard to put down read and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys romance suspense books with a Mafia storyline. I really enjoyed the storyline of this book and fell in love with the characters in this series, and I absolutely cannot wait until I can get my hands on the third book!

Enzo Vitale is the Underboss in a branch of the Chicago Mafia, he is the heir to the throne and as such, has a large target on his back and is surrounded by danger at all times, but it also means that he is left alone by the authorities because of his blood. Sofia La Rosa is a Mafia Princess who is surrounded by friends and family who love her and will do anything for her, but she is also faced with danger because of this. Her best friend has always been Enzo from a very young age and they know that they would do anything for the other, but everything which seems clear cut as a child, isn’t that always way in adulthood.
Sofia is a fashion designer and one day as she is working in her studio in preparation for her first fashion show during Fashion Week, she is confronted with an unexpected and disturbing sight, this leaves her on edge, even though her best friend who has come to see her is pretty oblivious to the danger. She calls her brother and tells him what is going on, however, they are overprotective of her and soon give her orders to stay where she is until some guards arrive to escort her sagely home, she is annoyed, but understands, so she packs everything she will need up and prepares to go home. Enzo finds out about what happened at the studio and cannot believe what he has heard, he thought that Sofia was safe there and is now worried about her safety, he has tried to keep his distance, but she makes it harder for him at every turn, even though it is the last thing he wants to do.
As the next few days pass and Sofia and her friends try and figure out why this new danger is here and what it means for the present and the future, Sofia hopes it isn’t related to a past event which she has had to swear secrecy about, but as time progresses, she realises that it is indeed that. The danger increases around Sofia as she tries to regain some semblance of normality and because of this she is thrown towards Enzo and despite his best attempts, he cannot deny her anything, however, he is holding onto secrets of his own. Will these secrets destroy everything that Sofia and Enzo have worked towards on their own paths, or will they explode and rip the two best friends apart? This is a battle of past and present to secure a future where nothing is certain and trust is hard to find, earn and be earned as this mafia romance violently flies through from one event to the next in a flurry of action packed storytelling until the conclusion is reached.
I loved this book! It’s a feel good Christmas story. The food sounds delicious; I wish the author would have added recipes, but I’ll be looking a few of them up. This story has great, realistic characters that you can’t help but to fall in love with. If you like Hallmark Christmas movies (and who doesn’t) then this book is definitely for you! I can’t wait until the next one!

I was eagerly looking forward to this story. I enjoyed this one after a while. It started good but then it seemed to stall, be slow and honestly I skimmed a bit during that time. Just past half way things really picked up and became extremely interesting.
I love this series and the characters that have come out of it. In this one we meet Brant and his lovely children. There is more than one reason to love these. Brant is an honest guy who inspires devotion. His kids are a treat…unless your name is Sebastian. Ha ha! Aubrey is a girl looking for her future which doesn’t include Brant. She is focused and it’s easy to admire her. Their chemistry when together, is off the charts!
Overall this is a good addition to the series. It is not necessary to read the previous books but it will heighten your enjoyment of this one (especially book 1). As stated above I did enjoy the last 40ish percent.

This book was entertaining, cute, fantastical, and charming. I enjoyed it! I have read a lot of paranormal romance books and this is one I would definitely read again. I loved the animals that the author chose for the shape shifting, I had not read any books with these animals before! It was a pleasant surprise. Because it was on the shorter side I did not expect to get so attached to the characters as much as I did. I found myself wanting to know more! I look forward to reading their other works.
I really enjoyed Book 1 and was very excited to get started on Book 2 and continue with the story. I feel like you could read this book as a standalone if you wanted to, but it’s so much better to be read in order of the series. I was hooked on reading this from the start. So much action and suspense, that kept me quickly turning the pages eager for more. I loved the attention to detail making me feel like a fly on the wall watching everything happen. I loved every second of reading this book and can’t wait for the next book!
A very spicy book between sometimes submissive Hud and ex-dominatrix Mary Beth that turns even more heated than either planned for. Mary Beth’s unique brand of domme heavily involves not just physical submissiveness, but mental as well. She uses her skills to draw out emotional and psychological pain from her partners, as a way to exorcise them of their (figurative) demons. She has more than she bargained for with Hud, who is military-trained, and not an easy target for anyone to extract information from. Both characters are interesting, and I was surprised by how thoughtfully they were drawn. The sex scenes are very explicit, and reveal a lot about Hud and Mary Beth in more ways than one. This book turn a few turns I was not expecting, and if this is your type of novel, you may just want to pick it up.

This is a book that I never knew I needed! This isn’t my usual type of read but this book called to me so I had to give it a shot. This is a book of self reflection, self exploration and self growth. The reader is guided in a journey of exploring the world they live in to cleanse it of negativity and clutter and create a more magical world for themselves. Magic is everywhere around us in our day to day lives, we just need to know where and how to find it. The simplicity of being surrounded in everyday magic is achievable thanks to this guided journey with personal experience shared by the author. I love the positive vibe from this book and I am thankful it chose me to read it!

Silent Gavel kept me guessing. Lauren is a court stenographer who finds Judge Murphy’s dead body. Lauren is the number one suspect and needs to prove her innocence. At the same time her cheating ex-husband may replace Judge Murphy which would mean Lauren would be out of a job. This book is the first in the Crawford Mystery Series. I am ready to read the second one!

This book is absolutely not for the faint hearted. This is a dark and intense story that at times is honestly a little hard to read. But the darkness and depravity actually just makes it so much better. This book really sinks its claws in deep and refuses to let go even after the last page. I found myself thinking about this book long after I had finished reading it. The book is full of triggers so if this is something that is a factor then I would definitely think hard before picking up this book. If you do, however, it is completely worth it!
This story is a wonderful continuation of the series. Chock full of emotion, action, lies, and so much more. Just like the first book it has a lovely love story that develops as the characters try to change the world around them. I highly recommend this for lovers of dystopian stories.

This is a well-written dystopian romance novel written with multiple POVs. I really loved both Hunter and Rain, I loved being in both of their heads. I loved each of the twists and turns this story had. The author’s writing style was interesting and kept me wanting to read more. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes dystopian stories.

This is the second book in The Stardust Duet by KG Fletcher. I never hesitate to pick up her books. I will say that if you have not read the first book in the series I highly recommend you do so. The characters in the book are so alive that I can see myself being with them. Ms. Fletcher always makes her characters alive within her books. This story is a time travel romance story that encapsulates love. This is the story of Kat and Phillip’s relationship. Phillip time jumps to secure items for the love of his life. Has he been successful or will the last jump be his last jump? You will want to read this book to see if love can conquer all.

This is the second book in the series and I was looking forward to reading it as I really enjoyed reading Annie and Wyatt’s story in the first book. In the book we get Breckin and Griffin’s story. Breckin is one of the group of female friends from the first book and Griffin is Wyatt’s friend. I remember loving the closeness and camaraderie of the group of friends and this is just as evident in this book. It’s lucky that Breckin has such a good support network as her husband left her for one of the cheerleaders at the school they both teach at, as soon as she had graduated. Griffin still hasn’t come to terms with the loss of his girlfriend in a motorcycle accident. Needless to say both are pretty broken and definitely not looking for love. Although they do say that love sometimes sneaks up on you when you least expect it. I absolutely loved reading Breckin and Griffin’s story. Both are fantastic characters that I loved reading. However, I must say that for me the star of the show definitely has to be Meemaw, Griffin’s 90 year old grandmother. She had me in fits of laughter throughout although I must add that the part of the story set at Thanksgiving has to be my favourite part of this book. It is hilarious. I won’t give any spoilers but I guarantee plenty of laughs.

Welcome to the world of Satan’s Devils. I LOVE this Author and her MC stories. I have come to enjoy this series. This was an Audio Book so the Narrator needs to be mentioned. His voice is perfect and at times I heard John Wayne reading the story. We all know the voices make the story come to life. I recommend you follow this series and start with book one. You won’t be let down. As this author will keep you reading this exciting romance with a twist. Drummer is the Pres of the Satan’s Devils. Sweet butt was as close to a relationship as he wanted. No commitments and no Ole Lady. Sam has just lost her mother, but just before she passed away, she told Samantha the name of her father. Sam is one tough lady, and she proves so as she looks for her father. Coming to Satan’s Devils could be asking for trouble. But her strength and motorcycle knowledge may help her. Can I just say WOW?!!! This story is part of The Caught Series, Book 4. A standalone as well, but I recommend you follow the series. The Author did not disappoint. Her books continue to blow my mind. This book had me hooked from the start. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one after reading No Way Out, the first book in this series. You don’t have to have read the first book to enjoy this one but it is my suggestion that you do because it’s a great story. I have read other books by this author and I enjoy the writing style. Sophia and Enzo have been part of each other’s lives since they were children and have loved each other for just as long but Enzo is contracted to marry another and Sophia has secrets that could have deadly consequences. This is a must read if you want to find out what happens between these two and if the secrets get revealed. This book is filled with danger, suspense, romance, great characters and so much more. I was thoroughly entertained, and I think you will enjoy it as well.
This is the second installment of the Parker Lake Novel series that I have read and this one was just as good as the previous book. I will suggest that you read the books in order so that you can get a clear understanding of the characters, but I don’t feel that it’s a must as the author does a phenomenal job with her descriptions. Despite the cover photo, which had me a little concerned, this was such a hilarious, romantic comedy. I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait to get my hands on book three. If you are a series fanatic of romantic comedies like me then you will love this book and I highly recommend it. I think that this would be a great series for you and your friends to read together because you would have so much to discuss. It may even remind you of people and places that you know. A very good book.

What a great read! The story’s characters unfold in this mysterious and wonderful way. It was a quick and great read for me.
The main character, Brant is a rancher whose mother just recently passed away. The mother left behind a message for Brant to solve. In trying to unwind this mystery, Brant believes that someone is trying to kill him.

I really enjoyed this book through out my reading. It was one that so easy to get lost into! I enjoyed the concept of the story, as well as the main two characters pairing up as a treat for this holiday season! I literally connected so well to them, and their story was lighthearted and engaging! Loved this book!
First off, I am a Christmas fanatic, and I do my home baking and am a owner for baking out of my home. So of course the story line with the holidays and the bakery appealed greatly to me. What I got from reading this, was sheer happiness and enjoyment! Benjamin and Thea were a perfect dessert together, the kind you pair together at those fancy holiday parties! Their chemistry was making my poor kindle sweat, and was able to laugh and feel things I did not expect! I was in love with this book all the way. The writing was well done, and there were no hiccups in the writing where it was a lost in the mind for the reader, everything made sense and flowed just so nicely, it was perfect for me, plus spice is always nice!
For me Benjamin and Thea were an iconic duo! They meshed perfectly, and it was not a story where its literally jump to the spice, they worked up to it, I mean I enjoyed the spicy scenes as much as my kindle. I loved their story, how they met and how they got together. It sometimes can only take that one look at a person, for that person to be the one person you never want to forget the face of! The story was sweet and full of treats though out my reading, progressed well, and was a easy and fun read, was a delight!
Again, this story had quickly become a personal favorite of mine. I could not get over the story when I completed it I was sad to close the book and consider it done. That said, I will be sure re reading this story over again! I loved it, and I do highly recommend this beautiful book, it is a must read!
