The God (Her Three Immortals Book 2)
By: Hazel Storm
Genre: Mythology & Romance
Pages: 226

Now this is the story I needed!
After reading the first book ( The Don ), it ends in a cliff hanger and this book answered all my questions for that book. This also ends in a cliff hanger but I love love love Grey & Vanessa.
You ever wonder how a sex dream would be if you were dead?!
Hazel Storm definitely has a hit with this series I prefer this book over book 1 but as a series fanatic I would recommend that you read book one.
This read gets five stars it is very well developed and descriptive and captivating and it has you rooting for love but who do you want Vanessa with.
This read brings a bit of humor that I enjoyed it was thrown in at just the right moments.
Poor Vanessa the underworld has her stuck between love and a hard place. Lol.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Don ( Her Three Immortals Book 1)
By: Hazel Storm
Genre: Mythology & Romance
Pages: 175

I am obsessed with mythology and this read put a cute little love square twist on it so to speak.
We have Vanessa as our protagonist who risks it all for her little brother Piper.
How much is your soul worth?!
Now luckily this is a book one of the series and once you are done you can jump into book two because I will say Hazel Storm will have you angry at the cliffhanger ending.
It is worth it, the overall story could have been developed just a bit stronger but again it is a series so it is okay.
Four stars and you will want to complete the series.
I wish there was more of a backstory on the gods themselves especially Grey who you will come to describe all the men in this read as sexy and captivating.
Just enough tease and build on the romance that has you rooting for love.
With love comes a price, how much are you worth?!

Entwined (Stone and Cinder Book 1) by A.L. Morrow – Review by Dahnielle Hibbert

Entwined: A Cinderella Retelling (Stone and Cinder Book 1)Entwined: A Cinderella Retelling by A.L. Morrow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Grimm Brothers would be proud. This is not a retelling of Cinderella in the traditional HEA genre. I love that the Prince truly is charming and while his name is Callum it could’ve been Charming and no one would have batted an eye. Author A.L. Marrow really knows how to drag you by the hair into a story! I love stories like that. I was so engrossed I almost missed my stop.

Back to what I was saying about the Grimm Brothers being proud of A.L. Marrow. If you have ever read a Grimm Brothers fairy tale you know how gruesome they can be. This story reminds me of that when it introduces the trom-laighe.

Every character was well flushed out and gave you a sense of “knowing” them you don’t often get in books. Ashling is charismatic, witty, strong and beautiful. Even in the face of danger from her “family” and from the trom -laighe she rises to the challenge. Since reading her father’s journal she knows how to defeat these evil creatures when no one else does. The author doesn’t focus so much on the Step Mother/Step Sister aspect that is usually emphasized and instead centers the readers attention on the enchantment and the perplexing labyrinth of mysteries surrounding Glenblath.

*One thing I will note is that this book is not intended for children and has some very erotic M/M scenes.

Forever: A Diamond Doms Novel by Ivy Nelson – Review by Shelly Kittell

Forever (Diamond Doms #9)Forever by Ivy Nelson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This story will suck you in from page 1 and won’t let go until the last page. There is spice for the romance lover; intrigue for the adventure lover; and lots of romance for the all. The cast is well-written and so intertwined that they just blended into the story like they all belonged together. The plot is fantastic and like a spy novel with some BDSM. Every time I thought I knew what was happening; BAM, plot twist. The women in the book are strong willed and stubborn. They are not held back by much. This author has just been put on my list of favorites. I love a good book that can make my head spin trying to figure out who’s the bad guy and what’s going on. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I highly recommend. 18+ crowd only.

Noemie’s Journey AUDIO BOOK by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Noemie’s Journey

AUDIO BOOK

By Victoria Saccenti

☆☆☆☆☆

This is a romance with a little bit of a history. The days when mixed marriages were frowned upon. In this story Noemie and Richard come face to face with racism. You will get to go back to the sixties and read along as these two incredible people fight for love. Richard will do just about anything for Noemie. Noemie, having racism thrown at her daily, just wants to protect the man she loves. Even if it means she can’t see him or love him. How will these 2 beautiful people’s hearts find where love leads them?

Victoria Saccenti has opened the door to the 60s. A time when the people were divided by race and color. A time where people could get killed over talking to the wrong person. Growing up in the 60s I remember hearing such horrific stories. This is a beautifully written story about just such forbidden love. One I think everybody will enjoy. Noemie is such a strong independent woman. Richard is a strong protector, who loves who he loves. The characters in this story are believable in how life was back then. You will find the world around you fades away as you listen to this story of forbidden love. Hop on this audio train and listen in. Well Done Victoria Saccenti!  Well Done! ! !

FIVE STARS
This story of Princess Rowan and Lord Theodore is riviting. The travels and her being on trial. The end of that trial and the outcome. HOLY COW. I truly cannot wait for book two to come out. My KU subscription has lead me to more and more fabulous authors and this is one of those books that I have discovered. I will definately be reading more especially about the Lochlann Feuds.
Princess Rowan is definately outspoken and has spunk. She is a wonderful character. And oh my gosh, her “weather toe” had me in stitches.

Haha wow just wow. Where to even begin? This book definitely take you on a Rollercoaster ride. Just when you *think* you have it figured it out, she throws a wrench in your theory and goes “Just kidding!!!! Watch what happens next!” And you are sitting there trying to figure out what the heck Just happened. There were a lot of little things that I missed and had to go back and read again. This book kept me up into the wee hours of the night and I just had to keep reading more!!! I can’t wait to read the next book and see what happens! Reader beware! That cliffhanger will spartan kick you off the ledge before you even realize what happened!

This is a cute story about whales and dolphins. It is a fun, entertaining story that would be great for all children. This is a story about Cherish and her family and their quest to save the whales. The story is interactive and engaging. The characters are cute and creative. They are relatable and bring the story to life. My daughter enjoyed this book as much as I did. I highly recommend reading this book to find out if Cherish and her family save the whales.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Silent Gavel by Merissa Racine a fabulous four-star read. This is the first in the Crawford Mystery series and I am excited to see what will happen next, the twists in this story are superb and will have you guessing all the way through. The details were very well done and added to the story, I love a good detail-oriented line, so it was good for me, but some may find it a little too much. It was Lauren who kept me hooked, the way she dug and kept going, she added something extra to the story.

Entwined (Stone and Cinder Book 1) by A.L. Morrow – Review by Beverly Finnie

Entwined: A Cinderella Retelling (Stone and Cinder Book 1)Entwined: A Cinderella Retelling by A.L. Morrow
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A.L. Morrow has brought new light to the story of Cinderella, with Entwined. A dark and twisty romance that I could not put down! The world the author created was beautiful despite the darkness that threatens beyond the arc.
Callum, the crown prince, is feeling the pressure to produce an heir to keep the arc protection from faltering and letting the darkness in. Married to the man he loves, Teague, it was decided a ball would be thrown on their anniversary to find a young lady to court and join them.
Ashling, our Cinderella of the story, only defies her stepmother’s orders and goes to the ball because the darkness has broken the barrier and she has to warn someone.
Little does she know that she has captured the attention of Prince Callum.
The character development is flawless, I felt for these characters as if they were part of my inner circle. A.L. Morrow has an interesting series developing that I can’t wait till book 2!

Great fantasy novel. I was a little nervous going into this book, I’ve read all kind of fae things here lately from acotar, the savage and the swan, the secerets of shadow and blood , etc. This book exceeded my expectations though! The author has great world building and character development! Which I find to be a little rare with some newer books.
This is a great coming of age book and was such a fun read .

Forever: A Diamond Doms Novel by Ivy Nelson – Review by Michelle Austin

Forever (Diamond Doms #9)Forever by Ivy Nelson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a hot 5 star read and I really enjoyed it. Once I started I devoured it.
This was a great ending to the series.

Russell is not into relationships due to an ex, he does have his subs at the club that help with his needs. Gemma was married to Russell’s friend so she was off limits, until things changed. Russell is a dom and he finds his match in Gemma. She is great at challenging him and pushing the right buttons. There is so much more to their story that I don’t want to give away.

We get action, mystery, suspense, steaminess and so much more. We finally get closure on some of the mystery in the series as well. There are some intense BDSM scenes that may cause triggers for some. I highly suggest reading the previous books so that you know the characters and the storyline coming into this book. The author does a great job with her writing and she pulls you right in. I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today

Wrong for Him (The Love Lottery Series Book 3) by Christi Barth – Review by Jenni Bishop

Wrong for Him (Love Lottery, #3)Wrong for Him by Christi Barth
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wrong for Him (Love Lottery Book 3) by Christi Barth is a contemporary romance that is a friend to lovers and brothers’ best friend story. It is heart-warming and entertaining and has the right amount of tension and angst and humour to give it that bit more. It is also fun with witty banter that had me laughing out loud. Christ has a way with telling her stories that are engaging. The push and pull dynamic between the characters made it a slow burn tale sweet.

She is determined to be more than just the little sister and he can’t believe he is worthy of a relationship. Not only do they find more on the historical building than they thought but maybe they can find more for themselves.

It is an easy story for a quiet afternoon escape.

Born to Fight (Can’t Resist You Book 1) by Brittany Anne – Review by Tracy Wilkin

Born to Fight (Can't Resist You, #1)Born to Fight by Brittany Anne
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Born to Fight is book one in the Can’t Resist You series by Brittany Anne. This is a science fiction romance, and while I don’t tend to read this genre, this story was really quite mesmirising. Extremely dramatic and sexy, the chemistry between the leading characters was explosive and steamy. A sweary, sweaty seduction set in a post-apocalyptic time that was imaginative and cleverly written. This author is new to me and I went in with a very open mind. I think I have found another trope to sink into. I am looking forward to reading more of her work.
Born to Fight was a gripping and exciting tale that had me totally invested and desperate for more. A real page turner. 4 stars.

THE BOW (HER THREE IMMORTALS Book 3) by HAZEL STORM – Review by Alexandra Nay

The Bow (Her Three Immortals, #3)The Bow by Hazel Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Initially I assumed that ‘The Bow’ would be the third and final book in the ‘Her Three Immortals’ series. By the time I finished binge reading ‘The Bow’ I was genuinely STOKED to discover there was a fourth book! Although you could read these as stand-alone novels, I do recommend starting at the beginning because the main character really grows throughout the series in a really gratifying way.
This is a steamy adult series, made even more enjoyable by its engaging and fast paced story line, and its rather seamless way of modernizing the timeless theme of mythological multi-lover romance. Can’t wait to read the fourth book!

Kiss Me Before FlightKiss Me Before Flight by Thia Finn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kiss Me Before Flight by Thia Finn is a stunning second chance love story. This is my first read by this author, and it was a gripping, emotional and riveting story, with wonderful characters and a heartbreaking and honest storyline. This story is about violence, brutality at the hands of a monster, unexpected love and rediscovering oneself. Triumph reigns and dramatic scenes are plentiful. This story is about more than just romance. It is about new friendships, finding strength in the most unusual circumstances, finding the path to happiness and building destroyed self confidence. Callie’s faith in humanity is restored when she meets Conrad and the many people who offer endless support and encouragement. Kiss Me Before Flight was wonderfully written and perfectly executed. Often hard to read and deeply emotional, this remarkable tale delivers the message that love can heal even the deepest of wounds and happiness can be found when you aren’t even looking. 4 stars.

Journeys Through TimeSpace (Journeys Through Book 2) by James Talisman – Review by Ayla Eddy

Journeys Through TimeSpaceJourneys Through TimeSpace by James Talisman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Journeys through Timespace is the second book by James Talisman in his Journeys Through series. Like the first book it takes you into the Multiverse on a wild adventure. To defend Earth ancient artifacts must be obtained. Acquiring them is no easy task. The three friends must use new skills in order to accomplish their way through this adventure. Time traveling in both directions with life or death obstacles to overcome. It is easy to imagine the characters and how their bond as friends is. The need to kept reading to find out what happens keeps you from putting the book away. Will Earth win?

With a continuation from the first book James does it again with drawing you into the pages. The world building along with the characters is amazing. You won’t want to put this book down either. I cannot wait for the next book. This genre is not my usual read, but I find myself highly immersed in this series.

Journeys Through SpaceTimeJourneys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman

Journeys through Spacetime is the first book by James Talisman in his Journeys Through series. It is a fantasy book that takes you through the Multiverse of time and space. The characters are diverse and unique as you follow them through the different POVs and worlds within the book. You can feel the passion that James has for writing through the words on every page. The adventure written in the pages draws you in. Which side will win?

This was my first read by this author and it was a book outside my normal realm of reading. It is a book that is not the quickest read, but letting the details sink in is worth it as it helps fully ground you in the story. I am excited for the next book in the series. If you are looking for a page turning cannot put the book down read then this is one is for you!

Wrong for Him (Love Lottery, #3)Wrong for Him by Christi Barth
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wrong for Him (The Love Lottery Series Book 3) by Christi Barth is an amazing short romance read. Having read both of the first books in this series I was littler leery to pick up book three but once I got into it I was so glad I did. I personally love the characters in this novel and the fact that they had a close friendship before they become romantically involved just made it that much better. While this story is based on romance you learn about the characters pasts like their childhood drama, what makes them tick, and oh so much more. While I do think that emotions develop a little quickly this book is filled with strong emotions that run deep, a writing style that flows beautifully, and very well developed characters. Ms. Barth really put tons of details into this short story and this reader can’t wait for more.

As the second book in this series continues on with the characters in which we met in the first book. We get to continue on the character’s journey. I am completely amazed at how the author, James Talisman, ties in each character and so many settings and multiverses, but yet ties them all together with the characters from the first book. As the reader, you are able to explore these multiverses even further and grow with the characters as they take on their each individual journey/beliefs. I cannot say how completely amazed with the writing that takes you through this journey back and forth to these characters and somehow manages to tie it all together!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Bastard Prince: a Royal Romance with humor and suspense by Alix Nichols is a novel in the It’s Raining Royals series. This is a great series and so far I have found each book to be highly entertaining. I have to say I think this one has to be my favourite. I loved the first book but this one was so en better. I thought the characters were brilliant – d gaming, witty and had a great chemistry. I was hooked by them straight away and wanted to read more about them. The story fit them perfectly. The author knew exactly how to develop it so we could get the most out of the book.
This is a still a relatively new author to me and I have yet to come across a book I don’t like. Her writing style completely pulled me in and I am excited to discover more of her work.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Silent Gavel is the first book in A Crawford Mystery series. It can be read as a standalone.
This book is listed under thriller and suspense, but I found it to be more of just a mystery – something to figure out, but not anything that would put me on the edge of my seat. I had the culprit figured out fairly quickly. Parts of the story were a little slow with extraneous details and I thought that the reveal scene happened a little abruptly. But overall, it was a good story. I’m going to give book two a shot and see how it goes.

Notebook Mysteries
I loved that the author drew me in with her cover of the book and the involvement of women in history and breaking the barrier of norms for that time era because women did try and do that and they had to sneak around as well. I loved that the author addressed the readers specifically as though to draw us in more to the mystery and book and get us involved in the case and our minds working rather than just an outside perspective of just reading and watching a scene unfold. I honestly wish I would have read the first book because it would have been bomb. I will be reading it now. It isn’t as though you need it though to read this book. Well written. This book can be read as a standalone.

This book was by far one of the best I have read. Originally I had just got it on kindle unlimited but I proceeded to buy it on Amazon it was that good. Rowan and Davin get caught for trespassing and smuggling in another country they were once at war with. They have to face the clans in a decision that decides their fate, but she is able to convince the Socairans to take her only and let her cousin Davin free since her family couldn’t afford to lose someone else. Her Da constantly told her not to do anything stupid but she was a free spirt as was her cousin. What will happen? Will this be the end of Princess Rowan? Will there be war? Scandal? Read on to find out. The writer is very well versed in her speech.
