I highly recommend this series. This is just blowing me away and I am so enthralled it is scary. I am so excited to know that there is still more to come. Each of the books so far has just exceeded my expectations. These are not quick, easy reads. Each book must be read in order, savoured and understood. The world building is exceptional and it reads so much like a movie playing in my head. In this book we get to hear from Freyja’s point of view and it was an eye opener. Connections and assumptions that I had made in the previous books were shattered. I can’t wait to see where the author takes Cam and Freyja’s story next.

So enjoyed this!! I did not see the twists coming AT ALL! But I enjoyed them nonetheless! I was happy to read from Freya’s viewpoint in this book! She saw things and experienced things that Cam didn’t and it was refreshing to see her old character come back out. She is pretty amazing!

The thought process to write this book must have been immense! Wonderful writing that I haven’t read in awhile! Thank you, T.S. Simons for putting this out into the world!

Ouroboros (Antipodes III) by T.S. Simons was another excellent read in the Antipodes series. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series of books. The ones I have read so far have all been from Cam’s viewpoint. It was a nice turn that this one has given Freyja a voice. Another great thing about this story is the parallels with current events in our own society. The only drawback for me in this book is the adult situations. I would have preferred less to none of them because this is a really great story and very well written. I really hate it when I have to skip sections of story.

This is the 3rd installment of this series, and wow, what can I say but 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I love YA dystopian reads and hands down this is one of my favorite series’ to date. Twists, turns, drama and romance all rolled up in one. Cam’s character is really coming into his own and friendships are truly tested. I can feel connected to these characters and I would HIGHLY recommend reading this book.

Ouroboros is the third book in the Antipodes series by T.S. Simons. I joined this series with the second book. In the second book, I spent time lost in the characters and trying to figure out who was who. This time, having read the 2nd, I spent much less time confused. I would highly recommend starting with the first book in the series. The books can be read alone but are much better read in a series. This book picks up Cam’s story where we left off in the 2nd. Campbell is grieving the loss of his wife. He goes on a solo journey tracking down Laetitia’s family and their past. Ultimately, he ends up back together with his first wife, Freyja. Together, they discover a plot that threads through all of the communities, affecting every facet of their life. Once again, T.S. Simons weaves a wonderful story of overcoming and love. This book is thought provoking and worth the read.

The third installment of the Antipodes series, Ouroboros by T.S. Simons, is a heart-wrencher. This one hits right where it hurts – in a good way!! I LOVE this story and its characters. The reader definitely needs to read these three books in order to get the full effect and understand all of the backstory and nuances. But, I can recommend the previous books just as much as this one, so it will not be a hard thing to do. This series is jam-packed with action and emotion, and you will grow to love Cam’s character and continue this journey along with him. Not only does this book contain characters that are relatable and endearing, but the post-apocalyptic theme is eerily relevant in today’s world of Covid. This book really is an entire world in the palm of your hand. 5 out of 5 stars!

In this installment of the Antipodes series, Cam has set off on a journey of discovery and healing after the loss of his wife Laetitia when she was cruelly killed, he is in pain and needs some closure, so he heads away from his home, his family and his life so that he can go back to them fully healed and able to be with them completely, so he takes of on his boat. On his naval travels, the first place Cam stops at is Kirkwall and a visit to the community living on Orkney where some of the other women who shared in his late wife’s ordeal live, he cannot remember what happened on that fateful day and so he asks to speak to them when they are ready. In the meantime, he meets up with some old friends and sees how life has changed there over the past year, he is happy to see them and he thinks that they are happy to see him too, or at least some of them are, but he finds out that they are all still suffering too, he knows he has to regain their trust before they will open up to him.

As he introduces himself to the inhabitants of the island he hasn’t yet met, he has a feeling that there is someone in the crowd he knows, but cannot place them, it turns out to be someone who was heading up the recruitment centre where he was chosen when the whole domed community idea was started. As they properly introduce themselves, Cam asks what they have been doing on Orkney and how they ended up there, this leads on to conversations about their role on the island, the portals and everything else they had learned over the last few years and Cam is invited to join them on future trips around the community, to which he readily agrees. He stays with a friend and it is their partner who opens up first and shocks Cam by telling him that the women feared him after his outburst a year ago, but now that they have seen him and he explains his reasons why and his feelings on everything that happened, they can understand him better too. As the days pass and a working relationship with the woman from Australia develops, Cam stays on the island as he waits for the other women to talk to him, he learns all that he can so that he can take the information with him when he gets home. When the opportunity to talk to the women arrives, it helps them all with some closure and acceptance of what happened and Cam is grateful for it all, but nobody is surprised when he continues on his travels past the place he lost his mind to grief and on to another place in Scotland he hoped to find some more answers.

As he approaches the place he needs to go, Cam finds somewhere dry to spend the time he needs to dig for some information, this takes a little longer than planned, but is worth it in the end when he finds what he was looking for, as well as some unexpected information along the way. He makes a few more stops on his travels and shares some of the things he has learned along the way with others who are as shocked as he is, but it causes him to question the friendships he has and others he hasn’t. Will Cam be able to use the information he finds out to look after those he holds dear, or will circumstances beyond his control threaten the life he has come home to find again and will he be able to look on his life and friendships in the same way because of it? This is another journey of secrets, revelations and discovery which keeps you on your toes as you journey along with Cam and those around him, a story you will not want to miss out on.

This is the 3rd book in the Antipodes series and I enjoyed this just as much as the first 2. I would really recommend reading the first 2 books to get a better understanding of the characters and their situation and how they got to the point we find them at today. This is a romance but it is such an emotional story dealing with grief, reconnecting love and learning that things aren’t always what they seem and your left not knowing who to trust.

The author does and amazing job with her characters. The main one is Cam. He has dealt with such heartbreak and grief since he left his family and moved into the domes. He is now on the search for answers. But what starts as a search to leave about his dead wife’s past to be able to tell their son turns into a more intriguing story about the domes and the real reason the people were selected.

This story will make you feel every emotion possible, from overwhelming grief about Cams wife, to confusion as Cam gets answers to the questions he has. However like in real life sometimes the answers aren’t what we want or expect to hear.

Cam has been through hell up to this point. He has suffered tragedy, loss and endless drama and surprises. Reunited with his first wife, Freya, and their children, Cam embarks on a journey for closure on how his second wife, Lae, died. Talk about Pandora’s box, many secrets of the geodome societies come to light. Everywhere you turn there are secrets. Cam is completely overwhelmed by this. There are so many decisions to be made by him and by the community he lives with. This book has not disappointed me at all. The final book in the antipodes series, the author has woven the characters together nicely. You can easily feel them and what they are feeling. The plot ran fairly smooth. I did get lost a couple of times but that smoothed out as I went along. Definitely a series you have to try.

Ouroboros (Antipodes Book 3) by T.S. Simons is a YA, Dystopian post-apocalyptic, story. I have said it before and that is that this is a uniquely unpredictable story. TS certainly keeps you off track when she takes things up a notch and then bam hello surprise and that is what I like about TS’s writing. I would have to say that this is my fav of the series so far. This series just gets better and better! This book picks right back up where the last one ended. Cam is devastated by his loss and confused by his feelings for Freja. I love that we get to see Freja’s viewpoint in this book as well. Together they make new friends and discover horrifying things, not only out in the world, but within domed communities as well. I could barely put this book down. The characters just seem so lifelike and relatable, I found myself invested in their story and feeling their emotions. The plot thickens. They say confession is good for the soul. I could not stand Freyja, however, let me just say she redeemed herself continuously throughout this novel. I like that this book told the perspective of Freyja and through this, I understood her more as a character and could appreciate her experiences. T.S maintained the same level of authenticity and creativity and produced a wonderfully graphic engrossing novel. It was interesting to see how various individuals or communities dealt with being left behind, being members of the chosen few and those in charge of the allocation of resources. There were some scenes that I lost myself in and let us just say that I am thankful that this is a figment of T.S’ imagination. Ouroboros is captivating as it is intriguing. In addition to this, it is thought-provoking in that it propels one to think about sustainability and about how we can more so care for our environment.

Ouroboros is the third book in T.S. Simons’ Antipodes series. I would really recommend reading this exciting dystopian sci-fi series in order to get the full story and feel the impact of the various developments and twists as they happen.
Following on from the events of the previous book, Cam is hurting and seeking answers. Never one to stay still for very long, he travels between the dispersed communities of survivors to have some conversations – sharing ideas and hoping to find resolution. It gets pretty emotional at times – may be worth having a box of tissues handy!
This is a great series for a modern audience, drawing on fears of the possibility of a disease spreading around the world and threatening all life. It questions what constitutes an ideal society, with survivor communities built around values such as sustainability.
For me, this is a five-star book and I’m eagerly anticipating the fourth instalment! I would recommend to Young/New Adult readers who enjoy speculative dystopias. For me, one of the best things about the series is getting to “travel” around the world without worrying about restrictions and quarantines!

This is the third book in the Antipodes series. I would recommend reading the first two books. Just as before, this book is set in post-apocalyptic times with romance, drama, tension, and dystopian story tones throughout. The story is moving and has me thinking about my friendships and if they are solid or if they are just there on the surface. The characters are what make this book so good. I really felt connected through this story. I can relate to the hardships of friends. There are friends who will lay down their life for you, and there are those who would not even take a paper cut for you. Cam is finding out right now about her friends. Will she defend her friends and take the heat or will she find out she is all alone with no one standing behind her? I highly recommend this book. Don’t be surprised if you start looking at your friends a little differently after reading this book.

Ouroboros by T.S Simons is the third book in the Antipodes Series. This is part of a series, and is meant to be read as such. When I started it, I wasn’t sure it would be something that would keep my attention. Sometimes a great story is spread out so much that it is just almost unbearable. This is NOT the case with this series! I believe Simons did a wonderful job keeping the story alive and action packed.

In life we are always begging for the answers. We HAVE to know everything, but sometimes we get more than we bargain for. Can we let those answers drive a wedge between our relationships?

Ouroboros (Antipodes Book 3) by T.S. Simons is a dystopian romance. There is so much romance and drama that is ready to be unfolded.

Cam sets out on a quest for answers after being heartbroken. Will the journey answer his burning questions? Will he find out more than he bargained for, or will he find out more than he bargained for? As he forges new friendships and reconnects with old ones, his voyage brings both problems and chances. Cam and Freyja’s lives are about to come full circle as their friends and community are attacked, pushing them to defend those they care about. Friendships are put to the test when the survivors uncover the shocking truth about why they were chosen. Which friendships will stand the test of time?

The first book was great. I continue to enjoy this story. I loved every page of it. Every chapter was lovely. I can’t wait to read more books from this author.

This is the third in the wonderful series by T.S. Simons. Through ou the books I gotta say they get more and more intense and captivating.

The 1st book had me hooked no doubt. As the story contunues and engages its readers more down the rabbit hole we go.

I find I relate more and more as the story unfolds. And more of I think of our own world and the choices we make. In this book Cam has greatly been though a lot to say the least I found his grief very much relatable and at times it was truly heart wrenching I find the deeper he does down the rabbit hole for answers and for questions that need answers he seeks…they sometimes as it is in the real world are not what we want them to be, but just the opposite.

That kind of stuff hits home and truly makes me think. Its not often I find a book or series that makes me think of my own life or my choices I make and how it impacts me and those around me, But this series certainly does.

This series and especially this book I fudn it really dug deep into everything Cam had gone thru, is going thru, and had yet to undergo.

And as the story progesses I found Cam really wanted his answers so badly. But truly he was risking everything to get the answers. The friendships he maintained were all put on the line I found. And he made decisions that impacted literally everything around him.

Honestly, super captivating book. this is my favotite in the series so far. And me saying I cant wait for the next in the series to see the adventures, romance, and things Cam will face…is most certainly a understatment 🙂

Thank you again to this amazing author for a wonderful book series. Its defiently a book series I will not forget and it certainly has made an imprint on my heart 🙂

Seeking a way to get over the loss of his second love, Mackenzie Campbell is on a journey again. This time by sea he travels to overcome his loss and then to Edinburgh to find information on Laetitia’s family for when Louis, his son, gets older. Along the way, Freya, Cam’s first wife, joins him.
Traveling to Clava, they discover that this community has so much more technology than either the communities of August and Lewis. Fascinated, they return home to Lewis.

Then Di, Sorcha’s partner, becomes sick during her pregnancy. Tests reveal that she has cancer and will need treatment in Clava. Isla, one of the people that were part of the Australian testing sites, arrives just before they leave and provides them with some super-sensitive information about the communities.

What was the real reason that people were tested and chosen for these sites during the Pandemic? Can these problems be solved so that their communities can live in peace?

What a thrilling final book in the Antipodes series!! T.S. Simons astounds me with her creative ability to write such an outstanding series. I’m truly sad that this is the last book.

I really loved this third book in the Antipodes series. More like Book 1, there was a ton of adventure, and new plot points were brought in that really deepened the story to another level. Cam is dealing with a serious loss, and embarks on a quest to fulfill promises, honour his grief, and hopefully get some closure. He also starts to peel back the layers of deception in another community’s attempts to dominate those left surviving. We meet some great new characters, and see some old favourites as they find new challenges in their life on Lewis. Ouroboros might be my favourite of the 3 books I’ve read in this series so far. The book is about a dystopian world interspersed with love, finding a family away from your own family, adventure, and so much more. It also makes you think about your own life and what is important. Ouroboros is the third book in the Antipodes series by T.S Simons. It is a post-apocalyptic, dystopian story with some science fiction elements, romance, drama, discovery, friendship, trials, twists, tension, mystery, and adventure.
I thought this third addition to the series felt more “grown up” than the previous two, which makes it my favourite of the series so far. I have really enjoyed the series, but this book takes things up a few notches for me.
Quite a lot has happened since we started back in book one. But things aren’t about to get easier in this book. This will see friendships tested, discoveries made, and danger threatens.
I really think the Antipodes series would make a great television series too. I can see it coming to life on the small screen.
Another intriguing and thought-provoking read.

Thank you, T.S. Simons!

T.S. Simons is an Australian author of Scottish heritage. Living in the alpine region of Australia, she believes in the values of sustainability and community in a world where we place greater value on possessions than people. The Antipodes series addresses the question—if we gave young people the opportunity to start over, would we replicate the mistakes of the past?

Her desire to assist others saw her working in international development before realising that her passion lay in education. She holds a Bachelor and Masters degree and enjoys drinking coffee, travelling, mythology, snow skiing, while attempting to live as sustainably as possible. She is owned by two rather bossy standard schnauzers and two rescue cats who co-manage her household.

Antipodes is the first novel in the Antipodes series, followed by The Liminal Space and Ouroboros. A novella prequel, Crossroads, is now available. She is working on a fifth novel in this series, Caim.
