This is my first time reading a book by author Lilliana Rose. What intrigued me was the cover, then I read the synopsis and was sold. I love a good werewolf book but this wasn’t good… It was A GREAT ONE!! It’s got everything you’d want in a supernatural story;danger,action packed, vampires, wolves, amazing characters, romance, and nail biting suspense that’ll leave you guessing. And don’t forget about the cliffhanger the author leaves you on. Like omg what is Amdis going to have in store for them next. I need to know I hope it only brings Kodiak and Tamaska closer together and to the pack. I got this invested and I started on this book ( the 3rd one )can you imagine, I still have the other two books to read (but i also highly suggest y’all read those two first before this so you’ll have a better understanding of whos who) Im sooo excited for the next book. This is book two in the Protector Wolf Shifter Series. It begins at the exact moment book 1 ends.
Kodiak and Tamaska are both still actively looking for the stolen Blood Opal. Tamaska wants absolutely nothing to do with Kodiak, but she can’t deny the pull she has towards him. Kodiak tries to protect her as much as possible, but it seems to be an impossible task. Their relationship is a forbidden love.
I think the characters in this book are a little bit more tolerable than they were in book 1. I do think this book is definitely better than book 1, and I am eager to read book 3.
Tamaska puts herself in more harm’s way (The Vampires) and Kodiak is having to answer to the pack.
What makes Tamaska so special that the vampires keep coming for her? Will they be able to put away their fears and succumb to their intense connection? Even if they embrace their relationship, will the pack accept her?
I recommend reading this series, but the characters put a damper on the storyline for me. I will continue to read to finish the storyline!

This is the first book in the Protector Wolf Shifter Series.
It is in dual POV of the two main characters, Tamaska and Kodiak.
Tamaska is a woman who is on the path to success. She is an event coordinator, and the auction of the Blood Opal may be her ticket to her own company.
Kodiak is the beta in the Wolf Shifter Pack. The pack is having to learn how to adapt to modern times. They have created the Shadow Protection company to earn an income as security. In addition to their modern job, they are meant to protect all humans. Everything had been smooth with the vampires, or was it all a smoke screen?
Kodiak and his team were last-minute security added to Tamaska’s event. Immediately, they had a strong distaste for each other, but neither could deny the immense attraction. During the event, Kodiak notices the presence of vampires. While his sole duty was to stand guard at the glass case, he left his post for a mere second in order to save Tamaska, who was drugged by a vampire.
Will they get the blood opal back? Is it even possible for a relationship to blossom between Kodiak and Tamaska? One is a wolf shifter who hates humans, and the other is a human who hates dogs.
What is so special about the blood opal that makes everyone want it so badly?
I love the storyline and plot. It is a wonderful mystery of who is lying, who is on whose side, and ultimately what is everyone’s motives. The heated scenes with Tamaska and Kodiak are amazing.
With saying all of that, I strongly dislike ALL of the characters…. they are all insanely immature and slightly annoying. I completely understand the push/pull dynamic with Tamaska and Kodiak, but when it is explaining their thoughts, they are very whiny and sometimes don’t even make any sense. The entire Shifter pack I dislike as well. It seems that literally none of them care for each other.
I will continue to read the next book because of the storyline, and I hope the characters get better along the way.

Ahhhh okay so excited for this book. Love paranormal romance even more so when it’s forbidden love! Things get super exciting between Kodiak and Tamaska as she tries to wrap her head around Kodiak’s secret and her feelings meanwhile Kodiak is dealing with pack issues. Despite Tamaska’s unease with the supernatural one things for certain, they must get the Blood Opal back. This story was well written, entertaining, and leaves you wanting more. Cannot wait to read book 3.

This is the third book in the Protector Wolf Shifter series, and I cannot recommend reading the first two books highly enough. This book follows on from the previous two, so I urge you to read those two before starting this one.
The plot of this one took expected, yet also unexpected turns and I loved every second of it! I won’t give any spoilers but my cold feelings towards Tamaska may have thawed a bit. Kodiak still holds my heart in his hands so I’m not one hundred percent happy with her (no jealousy here at all!). I love the direction this series has taken improving from the great start book one already was.
Tamaska has improved on me, she’s still headstrong but her eyes seem more open to the realities of the situation. The world continued to grow in a well-constructed way, giving the feel of being able to step right in and experience the adventures alongside the characters. The plot was set up very well and I adored feeling so immersed in the story.
I’m eyeing up another couple of series by this author to ward off the book/series hangover I currently have!

This is the second book in the Protector Wolf Shifter series, and I highly recommend that you read the first book as this one follows on from that one.
I loved the first book, but this one is even better. I loved the plot and the character developments a lot. It follows on well from where the last left off. Tamaska is as determined/stubborn and strong as ever and although I felt for her situation, I must say that I still found her attitude infuriating at times. Kodiak has had my heart from book one, so I could be a little bias. Just a tiny bit. I really felt for Kodiak and his situation, how he must have been feeling. I felt so bad for him but continued rooting for him as he powered through determined. Again, as with the first book, I wanted to knock some sense into them both occasionally, but it just goes to show how immersed I was in the story. I enjoyed the developments with the Blood Opal, the vampires and Kodiak’s pack and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I’m so glad the third book has been released as I don’t think I would have been able to wait!

I’m not sure why I expected this series to only be a three-book series, but I realized about halfway through that the book wasn’t going to wrap up all of the drama created in the first two books, which left me both excited and dismayed! Tamaska and Kodiak continue their romantic song and dance, now including Tamaska’s desire to be changed into a shifter, and their battle for Alpha dominance (Tamaska is unfamiliar with how to not be the dominant leader in her own life). She seems to repeatedly put herself and Kodiak’s pack into compromising situations, partially due to her own stubbornness, but also because the pack has trouble opening up to an outsider. I’m particularly excited to see what happens in the next installment of the Protector Wolf Shifter Series in relation to further developments of Tamaska’s heritage as well as her future within the pack. Definitely a fun read!

Book 2 is even better than the first book. Tamaska is determined to get the blood opal at any cost, but she may have bitten off more than she can chew. After the first book of the Protector Wolf Shifter series, ‘Shadow Wolf’, ended on a cliffhanger, I could not wait to continue the series. That being said, this book is set immediately after the first book so you should read it first if you haven’t already.
Tamaska is in shock. The man she has been sleeping with and developing feelings for is one of her biggest fears. A dog. First vampires and now this? She can barely cope and ends up rejecting Kodiak, walking away from him. She is still determined to find the Blood Opal if it’s the last thing she does. Stupidly, she walks straight into a vampire lair thinking she is safe since it is daytime.
Meanwhile, Kodiak, heartbroken from her rejection realizes that she just had the rug pulled from under her and may need some time to get used to things. He is not going to leave her in the hands of the vampires who seem to want her for some reason. Luckily he decides to make sure she is safe and follows her into the lair.
Kodiak ends up killing more vampires which basically means war for the wolf shifters. The vampires have the blood opal and they still want Tamaska. Kodiak and his team need to figure out why before it is too late for all of them. All while fighting the inevitable bond to this human woman who fears him.
Tamaska has to learn to trust Kodiak if she wants to survive this. She will have to come to terms with her fear of dogs if they are going to have a future.
This book was a great continuation of the series. The chemistry between the couple is as strong as ever even though they are both trying to fight it. The book starts off with a bang and hardly slows down making it binge worthy. The author does a great job describing feelings and body language, adding some steamy scenes that aren’t vulgar all while maintaining a high amount of action! I highly recommend this series! So far I am loving it!

This book is the second in the series. I would highly recommend reading them in order as this book picks up right from where the first book ends. I thought this one was just as good, if not better, than the first. I was able to get straight back into the story and the characters. I really enjoy Kodiak and Tamaska. Their connection is so strong, you just know they have to find a way to make things work. The adventure continues throughout this book and it is exciting to watch it unfold. The author has written another great, intriguing book. There is plenty going on to keep you interested and I, for one, am looking forward to the next book in the series.

This was another exciting book in the series. Tamaska wants to be changed and Kodiak is now the Alpha. Challenges are being made and Vampires are coming. The action! The drama! I loved the intensity of the story. The suspense and not really knowing what was coming. The characters again are outstanding. I love how Kodiak handles the ones who step out of line. This is definitely worth reading. It’s an exciting series.

I was so excited to get to read book two in this fast paced riveting series. This book picks up right where book one left off and definitely answered some lingering questions I had. The chemistry between Kodiak and Tamaska is very hot and there are some very steamy scenes. The author has done a great job of creating well rounded characters that are fabulous, but also flawed. If you love vampires and shifters set in an urban fantasy setting, this is a fantastic book and series to check out! I can’t wait for book 3 to come out!

This is the second book in the Hybrid Lovers series but can be read as a standalone. This book focuses on Antoine and Donna’s story.
Donna’s been through a lot, and I really felt for her. She’s very strong despite everything that’s happened; she’s loving, helpful and caring and I could relate to her character. I also enjoyed the way other characters were written and found myself heavily emotionally invested in both Donna and Antoine (but no one captured my heart in the same way Donna did).
The way the author wrote the scenes built tension and emotion whilst simultaneously painting vivid imagery of ongoing events. I also enjoyed the unique elements to the plot making this different and in turn more enjoyable. I love the paranormal romance genre and so loved finding this one provided something refreshing.
I look forward to going back and reading the first in the series and looking out for more from this author!
It’s all coming to an end now in book four. Or maybe it’s not 😉
A terrific tale of treasure hunting, avoiding presents and escaping to the past. Only to have the past come back haunting when you think you’ve finally settled. The fourth is a killer ending to a four book series. A must read that keeps you captivated and enthralled with stunning world building, character development and detail.

Master Campania is the Master who looks after and rules in the south of Italy and he know everything and everyone who resides there, be them friend, enemy, or hum and neutral, he trusts the other vampires who work for him and he knows that if any of them betray him, they would not live to see another night, so when he is tasked with finding a group of witches who have teamed up with the traitorous vampires and rogue shifters, he jumps at the chance. Willow is a young witch who is desperate for her freedom, she and her friends have left the magical academy where they were studying their craft in order to experience what life is like outside of the strict rules and endless lessons which were filled with hatred for the vampire race, so the small group leave the academy and strike out on their own where they end up in a town run by vampires.
Master Campania starts his hunt as soon as he can and is driven through the towns and villages in his area so that he can find a witch and get the information which Overmaster Descallia has requested and he soon comes across a group who just happen to be in one of the nightclubs he owns, so he goes in to find out exactly what he wants to. Willow has been enjoying the peace she has found while her friends are out, but soon she has to get ready for a girls night out, so she gets ready and pops over to where they are due to have dinner and drinks, but just as they are all starting to enjoy themselves, in strides a vampire like he owns the place and she desperately tries not to lock eyes with him over the heads of the clientele between them, this however, doesn’t work that well and so she sends her friends away as he joins her at their table.
There is immediately an animosity between the two, but all Master Campania wants is information and he makes that abundantly clear from the beginning, but Willow is very reluctant to give him the information he wants, but she also cannot deny the attraction she feels for him either and it is extremely frustrating, so putting her sassiest attitude on, she gives him something purely so he will leave. Meanwhile Master Campania is trying to figure out this little enchantress and whether she is telling the truth, so when he threatens that he will find her again if her information is wrong, he knows by her reaction that that idea terrifies her, but he also can’t deny that she is a sassy, as well as very sexy enchantress and he doesn’t quite know how to react to this at all.
Willow and her friends decide to call it an early night, especially after she informs them of the contents of her previous conversation, so in a panic they decide that to cut and run is in their best interest, but as they are doing this, Master Campania is acting on her information, however, as soon as he realises that it is a false lead he keeps true to his threat and finds her again, but this time he doesn’t play nice and ensure her further cooperation. As soon as she is in a word, tamed, she is again asked for the information, but this time, she has to go along as well, but when the vampires find the witches, they will not go quietly and neither will the shifters accompanying them, so another bloody battle in the centuries long war commences and Master Campania cannot help but protect the little witch and even more so when she sees that something is happening to Master Descallia and aids him to protect him, but things don’t go smoothly and Willow ends up learning more about the secrets of his world than she should.
When sparks fly between the two, neither can resist the temptation of the other and Master Campania has to make a decision about Willow, keep her with him or lose her forever, but with it being against both their kinds rules, will they be able to work out the answer before danger comes creeping around, or will it be taken out of their hands before anything can be acted upon? This is a dark paranormal romance full of passion, magic, darkness and light which will pull you along on a dangerous rip tide of action and adventure with some steamy scenes included for good measure.

Witches, magic and vampires. This is a great book full of paranormal and dark romance. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. This was the first book I read from this series so now I will have to read all the previous ones. Im looking forward to read more from this author.

Campania and Willow are great characters and I can’t wait to see what is next not only for them but all the Masters and their mates. Please bring on book 8 fast!!!!!!!!

This is the 7th book in that Masters Of The Consulate Series. This book is about Master Campania and Willow.And just like the other book from this series the author keeps you entangled with this amazing world she has created, with the suspense,action, danger, drama and spicy scenes between Willow and Campania. She makes you want to turn the pages faster than you can read it. I loved the vampire/ witch combo and I really enjoyed seeing some of the previous characters pop up in this one. characters. I’m so looking forward to the next one and kinda sad because I think it will be the last (this being number 7 out of 8 means there’s only one left right?) I really hope not though 😭 i don’t want my escape to this world to end.
Ps the guy on the cover reminds of jesús from true blood 🤣🥰love him.

Skin warming intensity. Once again, Sylvia Black temps you into the dark world of Italy’s under dwellers of the night. This time with pureblood Master Campania and the little enchantress that is Willow. Following their story and how they get to their happy ending while hunting the rogues from both sides. Campania is the master of the southwest part of Italy, where in most of the clubs all mingle together in peace, each respecting the lifestyles of the other. Willow and her friends were tired of always being under the watchful eyes of head witches and coven leader Devora, so they left the academy to finally find some freedom of their own. The story picks up essentially where it left off at the end of book six Master Calabrea. Overmaster Descallia has revealed several names of traitors and they have been dealt with but now the rogue witches responsible for helping the rogue vampires are on the run and hiding in Master Campania’s region. He will not quit until he finds them and gets the information he needs to hunt down and find the rogue vampires determined to reset the clock and force them back into the dark ages. Willow out on a night of fun with her friends comes face to face with Campania, a pureblood, the very thing she has been raised to hate. Refusing to give up her witch sisters because of rumors she feels are made up by the vampires she tells him a lie that quickly backfires when she’s not quick enough in disappearing again. While intrigued with Willow and her psychic abilities that could match his own, his look alone sets her blood racing and her skin tingling. With backup Campania goes to get Willow and her friends for her lie, but the fear in her eyes leaves him with an unfamiliar emotion that causes him to try something new to get the information he is after. Will Campania get the information he needs, in time? Can Willow truly trust a vampire? The author continues to fill in the details of each region of her world with each book. Not only the beauty of the day but the mystery that lurks in the shadows of the night. Glimpses of Campania in previous books make you hungry to learn more about him, to get into his space and find the secrets and the author does not disappoint. Knowing a book will have a happy ending honestly pulls me in more than anything, knowing I will have that satisfaction at the end. I eagerly await the next instalment of the Masters of the Consulate series with book eight, Master Sardinia, October 19th, 2023.

Elan and Arwyn have been best friends since childhood. Recently they both begin to feel more for the other, but in order to preserve their friendship, each keeps it a secret from the other. Enter Hassan.
I really enjoyed this book and the characters. Elan and Arwyn’s interactions had me laughing, and even though this is a fated-mates book, I liked that the characters still got to know each other before they realized they were fated, and then still made an effort afterwards to continue getting to know each other.

This is definitely one of my top 5 favorite books of the year so far! I did read this as a standalone as my first book by this author, and I feel like I followed along just fine because there is plenty of background given. I was so blown away by this book though, I am going back to pick up all the previous books related to this one and probably a few more because this author is AMAZING. The story flows flawlessly, the details are provided with such art that it paints a beautifully vivid picture, and you’re instantly transported to a completely different world. Do yourself a favor and pick up this magnificently spicy, fantasy love adventure, you won’t regret it!

This is part of the Darkness & Light Duology and the Love Bites series. I’ve not read any of the previous books but feel this is okay to read as a standalone as key information was given and the central story appeared unique to these characters.
If you are not into books which feature more than two people in a relationship, this is not the book for you.
I enjoyed the world which was built around the characters, it was easy to fall into alongside the characters. The characters themselves are well-constructed, the mannerisms matching the personalities and actions. They’re strong characters with possessive streaks in them and the added element of forbidden love heightens the chemistry between them.
I admit I was a little apprehensive prior to reading as sometimes the multi-way love dynamic can fall a bit flat, but it worked well here and you can’t help but root for their happiness.

Pryderi, Elan and Arwyn have known each other their whole lives, they have grown up together and become Watchers together and keep their clan safe together, they also made an oath in their youth which at the time seemed the right thing to do, but as they have grown up, their feelings towards each other are no longer the same. Pryderi has found his soul mate and after coming back from his honeymoon, the three find that things aren’t the same between them, but they try and put that right by having a guys night in, complete with the illicit food, drink and music they have to keep hidden away, thanks to the clan not appreciating it.
Although they are both happy for Pryderi, Elan and Arwyn are struggling with their feelings for each other, they feel things which they shouldn’t and know it, but still they can’t bring themselves to do anything about it and risk hurting the other or their friendship, it is what they value above all else, but that is becoming harder to maintain and it is causing both of them to become antsy and withdrawn, this leads their friends to worry about them.
Meanwhile, Pryderi’s mate has travelled to another clan and has brought someone back with her, a new male from a widely different life and when he is introduced to theirs, it is a bit of a culture shock to say the least, not to mention that he has been used to hiding himself away in more ways than one. Elan is chosen to show him the ropes and slowly help him integrate into clan life, but neither can deny that they are attracted to the other and Arwyn is feeling a little left out, so he decides to spend some time with the exotic new male and again, the two cannot deny their attraction to each other and this complicates things.
Will Elan, Arwyn and this new spicy male finally bring down the barriers and allow them to experience the things they long for the most, or will those barriers break down and destroy the lives they have built for themselves forever? This is a fantasy romance with foul language and spicy content throughout which will leave you breathless as the thoughts and feelings whirling around these Elinefae and their way of life and leave you wanting to find out what happens next.

I most prefer when a book series picks up right where it left off in the previous story, and Marked Wolf did just that. Picking up where Tamaska and Kodiak left off, Ms. Rose did a great job of taking the reader through the fear of dogs Tamaska has that inevitably will affect her future interactions with Kodiak. Also of note is the title, “Marked Wolf”; as we learn more about Tamaska and her connection to not only Kodiak and the wolves, but also why the vampires want her, specifically. The romance factor is good, Kodiak and Tamaska are both put into positions in which they have to choose the life they had or one together, and the action “scenes” are suspenseful- fun read, looking forward to reading book 3!
