This is the second book in the Maggie trilogy and it is a paranormal romance. I really liked this book. I found myself pulled in from page one, and at some points i was on the edge of my seat. This series should be read in order so that you understand what is happening. I loved Naomi. She was a go get it woman and her personality was great! She doesn’t have a great past, and unfortunately its starting to creep up on her. She needs to keep herself and the others around her safe but sometimes that harder than it sounds. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and i would recommend this to a friend. Happy Reading!
This is one instance where the sequel is just as good as the first installment! Naomi was beautifully written. Crazy plot twists, amazing characters, and incredible writing are waiting for you in this book! Stellar work. 5 stars!

This amazing second installment in the series stands up to the bar set high by the first. O’Malley holds nothing back with this paranormal, suspense filled romance. Truthfully I felt like I had to hang on to my seat simply to keep up with the storyline. Readers will want to read this is series order because it’s just that good. You won’t want to miss a single word.
Another intriguing “who done it” in Naomi by Mya O’Malley. Once again Naomi is caught up in murder and suspense on behalf of her “ghostly” friends. It’s an easy to read quick little book that will keep you turning the page. This little enterprise interferes with her love life, and all her plans for her happily ever after. Naomi is a strong woman but is she that strong. You’ll have to read it to find out. This is the second book in this little trilogy, can’t wait to start the next one.
Naomi has a knack for attracting attention from ethereal beings—whether she wants it or not. Newly engaged to her sexy neighbor, Bryce, she has little time to celebrate and plan for her upcoming wedding, because no sooner does she wrap up a heartbreaking cold case than she finds herself right back where she started, searching for answers alongside ghostly spirits.
This time, however, Naomi learns that things are not what they seem as a man from her past quickly becomes her worst nightmare. If she’s not careful, this man might crush her hopes and dreams forever as he proves to be her most difficult opponent yet.
Still, Naomi tries to focus on her relationship with Bryce. Can it withstand head games and cruel intentions? Naomi makes it her mission to keep Bryce and his daughter safe from harm, but will true love be tough enough to withstand her adversaries?
Naomi must keep her eyes wide open and question everything— and everyone—in order to survive.

Britt Kelly’s life has blown up in her face. After her parents’ divorce, her family moves from the suburbs of Trebridge into her half-sister’s apartment in the projects. Britt must adjust to poverty, a new high school, and a step-mother who hates her and her younger brothers. But these aren’t Britt’s worst problems. She discovers she’s been drafted to help the Gargoyle Guardians of her city to fight the demons invading her city.
In the mage-fought Demon Wars, the minions of Prince Vetis have built a secret base in Trebridge behind the Kingscourt’s battle lines. Like most humans, Britt didn’t know demons existed before she was drafted to fight them with three new friends. Now she must fight against the evil that threatens her city.
As the demon forces grow, the Gargoyle Guardians of the city must teach the four teens to use enough “Grace” as a weapon to survive. Britt’s new problem: learning to control her magical powers…in spite of Gillen, the gargoyle leader, pissing her off with his fussy rules and demands.
A Northern California gal, M. K. Theodoratus has been intrigued by fantasy since she discovered comic books and the land of Oz. Some of my early favorites were A. Merritt, Andre Norton, and Fritz Lieber. She has traveled through many fantasy worlds since then.
When she’s not disappearing into other writer’s worlds, she’s creating her own alternative worlds — that of Andor where demons prey and that of the Far Isle Half-Elven where she explores the social and political implications of genetic drift on a hybrid elf/human people. Magic and mayhem are her favorite topics.

Truly Unfortunate (Welcome To Knollville Book 1) by C.A. King was a fast moving, mind twisting, paranormally weird read, that had me hooked from start to finish.
Not my first read form this author, and I’m am fast becoming to like C.A. King’s writing style and the way they delivery a chilling story. I’m still trying to piece it all together, as some things don’t add up, but do all the same.
This book is something I will tell you. The ending really got me, cause, man, I don’t know what was really true. What the hell was Truly? Was she paranormal, or was she, simply, crazy. With all that had happen to her I was hoping she would get a sort of happy ending, but I guess, it was sort of bitter-sweet.
But enough of that, cause I don’t want to spoil a thing about this spine tingling thriller. This book, as dark and gritty, and mind twisty as it is, still has a strange message. One that fits, and one that also makes you feel so much for Truly. With such a short read, you think something like fully developing a character would slip, but not with Truly. From the jumping back to her past, matching with the present and fully diving into her hellish life. You see all her layers and wondering more and more about her, and if life had it out for her. Whatever the truth, I believe that Truly is where she belongs. Even if she pulled of, what the Doc thinks she did, I’m happy with it, because frankly, like this books said a few times; sometimes fate has a way of evening itself out.
Overall this book is a must read. The smooth dark writing mix with the cutscenes and the lurking darkness, makes this psychological thriller gripping, addicting and pulling. The tone of doom is set from the first chapter, and you can’t help but root for that darkness because not everything is black and white. This book is a haze of grey and as I have said, you’re not going to be rooting for the whole, “good shall conquer all” trope. No, you’re going to be rooting for a unseen force, and hoping that the grey haze will pave a better way for Truly.
So please take my super high recommendation that you will get lost in the darkness that will have you questions everything around you.

Beneath a Blue Moon (Crescent City Wolf Pack Book 2) by Carrie Pulkinen This is book two in the series and it follows Chase second in command to Luke the alpha. Chase is wary of witches and avoids anything to do with them at all costs due to an event from his past. When he meets Rain a cursed witch he tries his best to avoid her even though the Alpha has put him on cake duty which deals with her directly. He is fine with just being civil until he realizes she is his fate bound. When an energy vampire begins targeting witches his protective instincts arise. Can he protect her while also keeping his family safe from her curse. Will he be forced to pick between his mate and the pack?
I loved this novel and both the main characters Rain and Chase. Rain had a spunky personality, strong will, and was full of compassion. She looks for ways to end her curse and hates that it causes others with witch blood harm for their kindness. Chase is a great guy. He is dedicated to the pack and to his family. He also sounds mouthwatering from the description in the book. I loved following the romance between the two and the storyline was easy to follow. I could not put this novel down. That’s why I rate it 5 stars.
