Adrijana is a teenager who has just discovered that her father has lied to her for her whole life. She sets out to discover who she really is and how she can solve the mystery of the murders.

Neve must determine if Amos is experiencing a psychotic break or if he is truly onto something when he shares his Book of Amos with her.

This second installment in the Crawford Mysteries kept me hooked. It is a definite page turner!

The book has characters I loved and a character I could not stand K.G. made these characters come to life for me.

K.L. Montgomery is a new author to me and now one of my favorite Cozy Mystery writers. In this 3 book boxed set, we meet Sunshine who is the YA librarian in Bryce Beach. In Book 1, the town Bible and funds raised at the library gala are stolen and Sunshine helps the police solve the mystery of who the guilty party is. In Book 2, dead marine life washes up on the shore of Bryce Beach and Sunshine needs to know why they died and who is responsible. In Book 3, a prominent citizen of Bryce Beach is murdered and the body washes up on Bryce Beach. Once again, Sunshine uses her librarian sleuthing skills to help solve the crime. The characters in these books are lovable and the books so much fun to read. I already have Book 4 on my Kindle ready to be read.

JD Spero has hit it out of the park and beyond with this sequel to Boy on Hold. Ty is released after having had a psychotic break and murdering his neighbor Miss. Sally. After his mother Marcella is brutally attacked, Ty is arrested for the crime. Marcella insists that he is innocent but Ty seems to have confessed when the police arrived on the scene. JD does such a marvelous job bringing mental health to the forefront of this novel.
I loved it from beginning to end.

After all, he loves his brother and cannot imagine him being capable of such actions.

She cannot help but ask questions and get herself into trouble trying to solve the murder.

I loved Remember His Name by Laurencia Hoffman. Wren is an empath who is blamed by the police and the public for his husband Henry’s murder. Wren also sees the death of a new friend and his own death. Wren uses what he knows to try to save at least one life by changing the future. This book is emotional and engaging.
