This book is the start of a really fun series! Tom and Chelsea are an odd couple in themselves but very fun. Chelsea continues to choose the wrong type of guy leading to each wrong ex she’s had. When her and Tom start this journey its to show her how she should be treated, and there are good men out there. Tom may be quirky but he is very cute and sweet. Chelsea is hard on herself but slowly begins to see her worth and the importance of self acceptance. Together Tom and Chelsea find what they have been searching for and learn to accept those dark area of their lives. This is a sweet story and should not be missed

I love a good friends to lovers book and I love brothers best friends books too, and this one mashed those up perfectly. I really liked this story and how sometimes it takes someone else to show you what you’ve overlooked for so long and to show you respect.
Tom is a nice guy, and proposes he and Chelsea date for 7 full days so he can show her how she should be treated and that nice guys deserve a chance too.

I cannot wait to read the rest of this series!

Mr. Nice Guy is the first book in the Pierce Brothers Series by Belinda Williams. A fast-paced romance book, this is a story of friends who are transformed to lovers. Tom and Chelsea are flat mates and Tom is her brother’s best friend. Chelsea always gets into relationships only with bad guys, so Tom decides to show her what a nice guy is like. They reach an agreement that they will date for seven days. But as the situation progresses, the line blurs and how the two react to the new relationship forms the basis for the rest of the story. It’s an easy romance comfort read. I liked it!

Mr. Nice Guy is a cute, sweet story by Belinda Williams. This story is about Chelsea and Tom. Chelsea’s dating life is just full of going for the “bad boys”. Tom decides to ask Chelsea to give him 7 days and 7 nights to show her what it is like to date a “Nice Guy”. I really loved Tom’s character, he was charming and sweet and thought highly of Chelsea. For Chelsea, she was always putting herself down and sometimes did not feel her worth when it came to relationship nor her work. As Chelsea and Tom have their 7 days and 7 nights, will this turn into more then just friendship? You will have to read the book and find out :). Overall this is an easy, fun book.

Mr. Nice Guy by Belinda Williams is the first book in the Pierce Brothers Book series. This is a cute, romantic read about Chelsea who has a knack for finding the awful, bad-boy boyfriend and her roommate is sick of the complaining. Chelsea doesn’t tend to give the nice guys a chance, but what happens when she does? This is a fun read that I didn’t put down until I was done. The characters of Chelsea and Tom are fun characters and I enjoyed their interactions. I also enjoyed that Tom is not a boring, nice guy but he has a frisky side also. What a way to play up just against the stereotype that if he is nice he doesn’t know how to be naughty. I enjoyed this series and look forward to reading more about the Pierce Brothers.

I loved this book. Friends to lovers is one of my favourite tropes.
Chelsea has been dating the wrong kind of man, and her best friend suggests dating her nice guy flat mate to see where she’s going wrong. Tom has has a crush on Chelsea for years, but his past history has made him have serious trust issues.
Together they embark on a week of ‘dating’, where both find themselves facing personal issues they’ve been putting off.
I loved how the dates didn’t alway go to plan, but the two of them took it in their stride and made the best out of everything. For the most part, they were brutally honest with each other and it was so sweet to hear the things Tom says to Chelsea. She finally realises that she has been dating, but never had a relationship, never found someone she wanted to chat to outside of a date and it was a real eye-opener for her. Tom needed to face his past before being able to move on, he just needed a little push in the right direction.
I loved how Nadia got involved towards the end, she was brash but her heart is in the right place, and the text messages at the end were brilliant.
A really great story, a bit of emotion, a few ‘I can’t believe that’ moments but the ending was perfect for Tom and Chelsea.

I love this book! This is book 1 of the series. She lives in an apartment with her brothers friend, Tom. Her best friend, Nadia, suggests she try date a nice guy instead of bad guys all the time. Tom decides to date her for a week to show her what it’s like with a nice guy. Within that week the friend line begins to get blurred. Will they be able to get out of the friend zone and become something more?

I think every woman who reads this book will be able to relate 1000% to Chelsea when it comes to the bad boyfriends of the past.  I’m not sure why we all have to go through that string of horrible men but we do.

Chelsea isn’t a bad person, she’s actually the exact opposite but I think they guys she met sensed how sweet she is and took advantage of that.

Tom lacked confidence when it came to romance, but also hadn’t met anyone worth working through his past.

I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next book in this series.

This was a great read with engaging characters and a great story. Chelsea only dates bad boys. Tom is her roommate and her brother’s best friend. After living together for  three years, an experiment is hatched. Give Tom 7 days and 7 nights to show Chelsea how she should be treated. The chemistry is great between Tom and Chelsea. They both have history that can keep them from pursuing a relationship, but will it stop them? I enjoyed that even though Tom was a “nice” guy, we also got to see the naughty side.
I liked getting to know Nadia, Chelsea’s best friend. I wasn’t so sure about Nadia at first as she came across rude and as just a party girl. As the story continued, she showed her protectiveness over her friend and that Chelsea’s best interests were at heart.
I will be looking for the next Pierce Brothers book, Belinda Williams really delivered for me on this book.

Well, I am a sucker for a friends to lovers story and this one doesn’t disappoint! Belinda Williams pulls together well developed characters and a believable story line into a sweet and a little bit steamy romance… With a supporting cast that keeps you laughing and makes you believe in those ride or die friends, this one delivers. I enjoyed the build up and surprises that happened around each corner. I’ll be looking for another book from this author!

Mr Nice Guy by Belinda Williams a fun five-star read. This is the first story in the Pierce Brothers series, and I am excited for the next story in the series as this has been fun and romantic and just nice to read. Chelsea reminds me of me, I used to adore the bad boys, and didn’t see the appeal of the nice guy, until I married one. I oved how the story showed, that just because someone appears one way, they may not always be that way. This will suck you in and Chelsea will annoy you, but she will also endear you, at least she did with me. Belinda Williams writes a good funny romcom always.

This was my first Williams’ book and I am totally invested in the Pierce brothers! The romance is real, relatable, super slow burn with a little steam, and what healthy relationships look like. I’ve always been a fan of friends-to-lovers, but the nice guys always get me! I’ve been married to my best friend for 22 years and really enjoyed reading about love blooming between two amazing people. Most modern romance stories have a ton of angst and unhealthy behaviors, but Williams kept these super well-developed characters on a healthy path but allowed real life and real hurts to shape how they came to their HEA. I can’t wait until book 2, I don’t know why but I’m feeling more angst, more snark, and possibly more steamy bits scattered in!!

Enjoyable story that I didn’t want to put down. The story is lively and easily kept my interest. I always wanted to know “what” was going to happen between these two. That really kept me going!

Tom IS the nicest guy ever! I’m not sure there are many left like him. His whole situation with Gemma was weird and finding out the reason…I got it! Chelsea seems like a sweetheart who just happen to choose the wrong men. They must be able to see her bleeding heart coming a mile away. Thank Goodness for her bestie, Nadia. She really put some zing into this story and I cant help but wonder about her and Luke.

Overall this is a wonderful story. I enjoyed meeting the characters and I cant wait for more in this series.

I need me a Tom. 😉 Relatable characters, chemistry, passion, and wicked sense of humour- what is not to like! I really enjoyed reading this novel. Trying to refrain from making past mistakes the Chelsea decides to purposely date “douche bags” and ignoring numerous red flags and then enduring heartache. While Tom suffers from the white knit syndrome. What a pair! It was quite ironic that these individuals were oblivious that their attraction to each other was mutual. Bless the heavens for best friends and bets. I appreciated that Belinda saw fit to allow Tom and Chelsea to individually work out their issues rather than dragging their baggage into their relationship. I am now highly anticipating Book 2 (Spoilsport).

Such a charming story about a young woman finding her way in love and her career. The main character, Chelsea, is endearing but self deprecating and needs to be reminded of her value. We all need that in life once in a while. Her lack of self esteem leads her to pick men that are not ideal. Her roommate and brother’s best mate offers to show her what a relationship with a nice guy looks like. A great read that will keep you enchanted for the duration. Loved it!

I loved how we knew as the reader that the relationship would come but it was a slower burn to get there. The character development as well as getting to know the thoughts inside their heads were a great part of the story overall! I loved that the story was told from both characters as well so that we could make connections ourselves. I found myself saying “Why can’t you see what’s happening right in front of your face?!” more often than not! It was a sweet story and a great quick summer read!

Who doesn’t love a bad boy? Most of us do, but we also know they can come with “complications”. Chelsea, the main character in the book, is always attracting the bad boy, but starts to realize it always ends the same, in disappointment. Her roommate, Tom, who is also her brother’s best friend, is tired of hearing about her horrible dating experiences. He agrees to go along with a “dating training” of what it is to date a Nice Guy! I really enjoyed this book and how Williams portrays a love story. From the start there are no boring pages to this book. It is a fast read with great characters, great romance, and a very relatable story line. Personally, it brought me back to my previous, maladaptive dating life, but luckily I too took a chance on a nice guy that changed my life!!

This is a sweet romance with a set up like your favourite rom-com: nice guy roommate given a chance to show the pretty girl with a penchant for bad boys just what she might be missing. I really liked the character of Tom and how casually he embodied a regular, respectful man. He treated Chelsea how she should be treated: with respect, care, and thoughtfulness. This doesn’t mean he’s milquetoast and boring however; he simply treats her like a person he cares about. There really is no going back to self-centred jerks who play games with your emotions after that! The story was believable and well-written, and the characters were appropriately round and fleshed out. While the plot followed an expected path, there were some stops along the way that surprised me and added depth. A good comfort read with a little bit of sizzle.

Mr Nice Guy By Belinda Williams was such a great read! so much fun and gorgeous characters with lots of heart. It was the very first book I have ever read that is actually set in the area that I live and that was so much fun! Harrys is the stuff of legends! If you are a local you know what I mean, If not Read the book! lol

Chelsea is a beautiful young woman, who is ALWAYS dating the wrong guy! She shares an apartment with her older brothers best mate Tom, a good looking paramedic who is so over hearing about her dating misadventures. When her friend Nadia suggests she needs a nice guy and that Tom is in fact a nice guy both Chelsea and Tom think she is nuts at first! This does give Tom an idea though and he decides Chelsea needs to learn what dating a nice guy truly means. He offers to date her for a week to show her how she truly should be treated. During this week attraction grows and the true story becomes could this pretend relationship actually become a real meaningful one? or will past hurts get in the way?

I know I have said this before but this book truly was such a fun read with characters full of heart that you so easily connect with. Do yourself a huge favour and read this book now!!!! I now need more Belinda Williams books! Ms Williams you have a new fan.

4 out of 5

Mr. Nice Guy is a delightful tale of discovering the right person in all the wrong ways. Belinda Williams weaves strong characters and witty banter in the story with ease. I hope to catch up with Chelsea and Tom in the next chapter of the series.

Tom is a nice guy. He has a job as a paramedic. He agreed to let his best friend’s little sister live in his apartment when she needed a place. He cooks. He cleans. He is an all around nice guy. Maybe that is his problem. It has been over three years since Tom’s last relationship. He rarely dates. And, he is slowly realizing that one person he shouldn’t want is the one he is falling in love with, Chelsea.

Chelsea, the best friend’s sister, is a serial dater of bad guys and jerks. Tom has listened to Chelsea complain for the last two years. When Chelsea’s best friend, Nadia, suggests that Chelsea see what she is missing by dating a good guy, Nadia ropes Tom into her plan. Tom gets Chelsea to agree to an experiment of 7 days and 7 nights of good guy dating. When both Chelse and Tom start to think there is more to this experiment than either of them thought, will they be able to make it real?

Kudos to Ms. Williams on respectfully handling the issues of mental health throughout the book. This page-turning romp has moments of heart and understanding.

Tom and Chelsea are housemates , she seems to only attract “bad boys” so Tom has offered to show her what a nice guy is like. What will happen when she is offered a seven day ultimate nice guy dating experience? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. Mr. Nice Guy by Belinda Williams is a short easy comfort read with great characters, a refreshing twist on fake dating turns to real dating, and fantastic word building. This romance story kept this reader on the edge of her seat with drama, angst, romance, and more. I found myself flipping through the pages faster then a bolt of lightning to find out what happens next and I was not disappointed. The way that Ms. Williams developed her main family character was relatable, it was refreshing to have a female lead that wasn’t a skinny super model but has a normal body style that makes her more relatable to some women like myself. While I loved the book over all the one thing I would have liked to see was a little more character development, but over all I can’t wait to see where Ms. Williams takes this series.

Mr. Nice Guy was such a great read and I can’t say enough good stuff about it. Chelsea is the little sister of Tom’s best friend and when she needed a place to stay, Tom took her in. Typical book..just like all the others, right…..WRONG!
Chelsea dates loser after loser until one night her best friend schemes up a plan for her to date a nice guy for once. Who else would be perfect to play that part aside from Tom? Only one problem, Tom is extremely attracted to Chelsea. When she sees him at the beach with no shirt on and he sees her in that itty bitty bikini, the reader expects it to be done…..NOPE!
They are supposed to date for one week. The first few dates are just a nightmare lol. Also, Tom has a lot of baggage he still hasn’t overcome yet. These two are absolutely perfect for eachother but what if, they both end up having real feelings for eachother and then it doesn’t work out. They are friends and roommates. Is it worth losing what they have? Will they ever find out if it’s worth a shot? You have to read this 5* read to find out. I loved it and cannot wait for more.

Mr. Nice Guy is the first book in the Pierce Brothers series by Belinda Williams. I never pass up any of Belinda Williams’ stories- as she never fails to deliver a very entertaining read. This is a fun romcom with a bit of a friends-to-lovers element that gave the story an extra element of interest for me.
Chelsea has been unlucky in love, always falling for the bad boys who aren’t cut out to be in a relationship. Tom happens to be her friend and housemate who has heard about every one of the ‘failures’. He has a suggestion that takes Chelsea by surprise, but also intrigues her. And so a fake relationship begins. Tom will show Chelsea what she’s been missing out on by not dating a ‘nice guy’. Get set for the fun to begin. Will the lines between friendship become blurred beyond recognition? What happens if feeling become involved? This story is worth the read to find out all the entertaining details.
Another great read from Belinda Williams. I am definitely looking forward to the rest of the series!
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Belinda Williams!

Mr Nice Guy is the first book in the Pierce Brothers Series by Belinda Williams. It is a great contemporary romance. I became a fan of Belinda Williams after reading the Freshwater series and was looking forward to a new series. I can safely say that this series has got off to a fantastic start. I really loved Mr Nice Guy which is a great example of a friends-to -lovers romance.
When Tom gets sick of his flatmate Chelsea complaining about her endless stream of loser boyfriends he offers her a proposition – give him seven days and seven nights to show her how good a nice guy can be.
I absolutely loved Tom and Chelsea. Tom is totally devoted to his job as a paramedic and Chelsea loves her job in childcare but is unsure of her future. Together they make such an amazing couple and there are many funny exchanges as Tom shows Chelsea how much better life can be when you are with a nice guy.
We do get a brief peek at some of the other Pierce brothers whom I assume we will get to know very well throughout this series and I’m intrigued to learn more about them.
100% recommend this book and look forward to the rest of the series.
