Mr. Nice Guy (Pierce Brothers Book 1) by Belinda Williams

4 out of 5

Mr. Nice Guy is a delightful tale of discovering the right person in all the wrong ways. Belinda Williams weaves strong characters and witty banter in the story with ease. I hope to catch up with Chelsea and Tom in the next chapter of the series.

Tom is a nice guy. He has a job as a paramedic. He agreed to let his best friend’s little sister live in his apartment when she needed a place. He cooks. He cleans. He is an all around nice guy. Maybe that is his problem. It has been over three years since Tom’s last relationship. He rarely dates. And, he is slowly realizing that one person he shouldn’t want is the one he is falling in love with, Chelsea.

Chelsea, the best friend’s sister, is a serial dater of bad guys and jerks. Tom has listened to Chelsea complain for the last two years. When Chelsea’s best friend, Nadia, suggests that Chelsea see what she is missing by dating a good guy, Nadia ropes Tom into her plan. Tom gets Chelsea to agree to an experiment of 7 days and 7 nights of good guy dating. When both Chelse and Tom start to think there is more to this experiment than either of them thought, will they be able to make it real?

Kudos to Ms. Williams on respectfully handling the issues of mental health throughout the book. This page-turning romp has moments of heart and understanding.
