Twisted Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops Book 1) by Amy McKinley – Review by Piper Foster

Twisted SecretsTwisted Secrets by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This story has everything in it from action to betrayal to romance.
Xander and Riley dynamic is a mix in itself. Xander and Riley have such a quick connection. Amy McKinley had me going right to the end with who the culprit was behind all the destruction. As these moments played out me heart was pounding. The ending left alot of question and I can’t wait to see where this series leads to.

Heartbeats and Roses: A Small Town Valentine's Day Romance (A Hartwood Holiday Romance)Heartbeats and Roses: A Small Town Valentine’s Day Romance by Jae Dawson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is such a heartwarming book from the start. Laim and Rose have a history together. This story went too fast for me as I was reading I didn’t realise I would actually reading. I felt right Roses position and really connect with a character. Laim is struggling with his emotions and revelations , I like how his character has developed over time.

Dance of Hearts: a Cinderella Regency Romance Retelling (Historical Fantasy Fairytale Retellings Book 1)Dance of Hearts: a Cinderella Regency Romance Retelling by Byrd Nash
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This short Novella is a lovely little read. Byrd takes you right back to the regency period where life is full of proper etiquette and ball rooms and dreams. Melinda Wychwood had successfully managed the Grange, the family estate whilst her father was ill upon his departing from this world it was handed to another male in the family. Kaye and Theo banter was well written. It a lovely retelling of the Cinderella story.
