This is the debut novel of this author and it’s a nice Cozy Mystery. A really strong start however during the middle it Started to lack as it started to throw down in its pace. I thoroughly enjoyed the promise of this story as well as having the murders all planned out. Having your ex-boyfriend with the lead of the case for the murderers in your town is serving enough but when you are a suspect at the time as well you feel great. Will Red solve the mystery of these murders will Elizabeth be free to continue her newly divorced life?

Murder Most Pemberley (Eliza Darcy Mysteries Book 1) by Jessica Berg – Review by Piper Foster

Murder Most Pemberley (Eliza Darcy Mysteries Book 1)Murder Most Pemberley by Jessica Berg
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

We start off travelling from America to the UK for a family reunion. Then a murder happens during this event and we are there trying to find out who did this. I enjoyed the interaction with all the This is an extremely fun murder mystery I have to admit I was very concerned to think as I going to think this was the same as Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. At times this mystery made me laugh out loud as they are all eccentric characters which make this more enjoyable as they are cheeky to boot. It’s a cute Cozy Mystery to read.

I enjoyed the strong female presence. Jester is a book I can see myself rereading. Lissette has some hard choices to make which enables her survival skills. Using her goal of becoming the Queen’s Jester. You can see how much focus she has on her goal one could call it an obsession. There are many lessons to be learned from this book.

Aimme wheels is true to herself and does not follow the masses. The dialogue between Aimee and Qadair is subpar at best. This book does create strong emotions. I wish there was a bit more hear in this book overall a decent read.

Triad Resumption: Part Two (Grimm Wolves MC Book 6) by D.M. Earl – Review by Piper Foster

Triad Resumption: Part Two (Grimm Wolves MC Book 6)Triad Resumption: Part Two by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Part two of this story is heart breaking. It has many explicit violence, sexual situations, disturbing situations related to the mental and emotional state of a person and taboo subjects, offensive language, and very mature subject matter. Recommended for age 18 and above . It’s a highly emotional book and I’d suggest reading it alone because it a roller-coaster of emotions. Chains is still recovering from his captivy that he endured as his past comes out the support of his brothers shows through and through
