The Ghastly GumballThe Ghastly Gumball by Naomi Valkyrie

This is a very fun story to read. It’s has a great amount of humor in for such a short book. The plots and story lines work very well and the connection between the characters is immense. One of the things that pulls me into Namoi books is her writing style as it’s very fresh and unique to her.

This is a lovely sweet contemporary romance novel. I felt a connection between the characters.l especially Scott. Franceen is a great lady and I love the way she is portrayed. Past failures make them a bit very wary of relationships neither wanting to be hurt. Scott is very dedicated to his work and doesn’t have much of a personal life when Franceen walks into his life. Great job in the build-up of this relationship.

Road Rage (OUTLAW, #4)Road Rage by Karina Kantas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the fourth instalment of the series. I enjoyed this book. Gemma has had a very hard life and now is enduring more pain but to what cost. Sometimes club life can not be what she expected to and sometimes it’s more.
Things are looking well when she meets Shep and is introduced into the world of a motorcycle club. This motorcycle club is called Rage. There are so many twists and turns in this story, which is unexpected. Gem is a strong woman and nothing keeps her down. This is an example of a gritty motorcycle club book.

This book is written really well and you can tell the author has done research about the time period. She’s made something positive out of this dark depressing time. Penny’s a slave whom works for a family whom adore her however they fallen upon hard times. So sell her to pay their debt now she’s with another and this is different to what she is use to. Leon and Penny startled me at frist but as the boom progressed or made more sense. Warning :using inappropriate lanauge which some may find offensive.

In all honest I wanted to love this book. The premises is brilliant and I was looking forward reading it. I unfortunately couldn’t find connect with the characters and they had little substance to them. I will say the authors descrptive style was canny but would be better with a bit more embraliahment.
