Rogue Wolf is the third and final installment of the Protector Wolf Shifter Series by Lilliana Rose. It’s the exciting, action-packed conclusion of Tamaska and Kodiak. Vampires at the door and the pack of Wolf shifters wakened doesn’t really suggest a good time for a blooming romance.
Still plan to read this series in order or you’ll miss some of the most important dynamics. This one was the hardest for me because of some sheer pig-head decisions but I also couldn’t put it down and risk missing the end. Still a great series if you enjoy a good urban fantasy mixed with supernatural.

Rogue Wolf is the third book in the Protector Wolf Shifter Series. Tamaska is trying to survive being hunted by vampires. But to survive she must transform into a wolf shifter, however, Tamaska, and others, are not sure if the process will work. Kodiak is Tamaska’s mate and he does not want her going through the transformation process. He is set on the fact that he can protect her, as a human, and from the vampires. But how can Kodiak protect her when he himself can’t stay safe? Kodiak is captured by the vampires and Tamaska is determined to do what it takes to save him..even if that means facing the transformation alone. Lovers of fantasy, supernatural, and romance will love this book. A solid 4 out of 5 stars.

I have read a few books from this author and she always blows my mind when she writes. This is the third book of the very addictive series Protector Wolf shifter. These books have to be read in order because it follows the main characters throughout their journey. I was so excited to read this book that I stopped everything and just started reading. I could not put this book down until the end. It only took me a few hours to devour this amazing story.
Tamaska is now getting chased by vampires and they are going to stop it at nothing to get her. The only way to defeat them is to turn into her werewolf self. Tamaska is ready to turn but she is told that she might not be strong enough to transform. Her mate Kodiak doesn’t want to live without her so he is going to protect her. She is still wanting to turn but she doesn’t want to break her mate’s heart if she’s not strong enough. Tamaska gets word the vampires now captured Kodiak and now they are coming after her. Will she be able to find a way to shift and save the love of her life or will she not be strong enough? Review by @heatherbass

This is the third installment in this series. The story continues to develop, giving more detail into both the relationship of Kodiak and Tamaska as well as the overall storyline as well. Everything was a blood bath, Kodiak challenged as an Alpha, their headquarters a mess, bodies buried but the memories remain. Tamaska is still not safe, but she’s also bonded to an Alpha and she wants to be changed into a werewolf herself and is by no means patient about it. Kodiak however is not sure she would survive the change and knows they are missing something regarding Tamaskas past Meanwhile the Vampires need her but they are restless trying to capture her but now that she’s shown her hand they know if they capture Kodiak that’s the next best thing and it will draw her in eventually. How does the blood opal play into this, what do those vamps want it for, what does it have to do with Tamaska. Can she and Kodiak get out alive, can he lead the pack, and is he finally going to turn her? This series is not a stand alone. If you want to understand these characters get the prior books and enjoy then. I’m excited to learn there is a 4th book!

We return with Tamaska and Kodiak…the Blood opal is missing and Tamaskas world has been absolutely rocked to the core. The passion builds between these two as they begrudgingly work together unable to deny the connection between them and the heat that fires so quickly into an inferno.
Tamaska continues to be stubborn and there are many unanswered questions about why she’s starting to feel a little less human and a little more….what exactly.

Rogue Wolf is the third book in the Protector Wolf Shifter series. I have read all of the other books. Just when you think the series couldn’t get better it does!! This third book in the series has all the excitement and intrigue as the first 2! I definitely recommend reading the series in order to get all the details and full story. This book is told through Kodiak and Tamaskas point of view. They are still working to find out why the vampires want Tamaska so badly and they are hunting the Blood Opal. Tamaska makes a mistake and decides to go to her apartment to get some things. When the vampires take Kodiak to lure Tamaska out she decides to take matters into her own hands after feeling guilty for not being able to protect herself. This book has a lot of action and will keep you reading to find out more. It does of course end on a cliffhanger to lead into book4!

Tamaska and Kodiak are back and are still recovering from the latest vampire attack where the pack was reduced and that grief still floods the space as they deal with their losses and bury their dead. Another thing which is flooding the space is blood, both vampire and wolf shifter, it is everywhere and that isn’t priority number one, Kodiak being sworn in as alpha is, but he is challenged and that leads to him having to fight one of his own, it is something he hates, but knows it is also something he needs to do.
After the fight and no further issues, security is upgraded so the pack can stay safe while all of them pull together so that clean up goes more quickly in case of unexpected visitors. Tamaska insists on helping out, but when she asks to go and get something to help the process along, Kodiak is reluctant, they know the vampires are still out there and that they want Tamaska for her blood, but she eventually convinces him and heads out, but her next decision is one that will endanger everyone, she decides to go back home and pick up some belonging and that is where danger calls in, someone is waiting there for her.
Meanwhile, one of the other pack members is researching Tamaska’s ancestry, the jewel they are all fighting over, as well as how to turn a human, what risks there are and whether it can be done at all, this has been demanded of Kodiak because Tamaska wants to be a shifter and a full member of the pack, especially when Kodiak chooses her as his mate over the other pack members. Although Tamaska is trying her best, it seems that she just isn’t doing anything right and being kept in the dark about everything isn’t helping her, but when another attack happens, the worst imaginable scenario happens, the vampires capture Kodiak and want to trade Tamaska for him, neither can think of being without the other, but they also both know how stubborn the other is, but why is Tamaska so important and how will she be able to convince the rest of the pack what she needs to do?
Can the pack figure out the answers to all these questions while still trying to stay together as a pack, or will Kodiak’ choices splinter the pack more thoroughly than any vampire attack could and will Tamaska be able to become a full member? This is another action packed book in this series where danger lies around every corner and secrets, trust and acceptance are woven into a web so tangled, you will have to read until the end to find out where it starts and ends.

This book is a continuum from the first two books, so highly recommend you stat from the beginning. This book took a little but of a turn, from the Kodiak who was the protector now Tamaska doing the protecting and the rescue. But at what cost will it cost her to do so? This book like the last ones was filled with fantasy, paranormal romance, supernatural, action, danger, chemistry, mystery, suspense, adventure and so much more it will be hard for you to put down. I highly recommend this series it really hooks you in from the development of the characters to the suspense of the story line.

This is book 2 in the series and highly suggest that you read the first book before you dive in here. Even thou there is enough information thought the book that you could, this one starts off right were book one left us standing. This is were Tamaska finds out that Kodiak is a shaft sifter or to be exact a werewolf. Something Tamaska doesn’t like shifters, but she finds herself still having feelings for him and can’t stop thinking of Kodiak. Once again, this story is filled with fantasy, supernatural beings, a quest, action, adventure, danger, drama, chemistry, suspense, and so much more that it kept me reading. Just like the first book this one took a hold of me and wouldn’t let me go till I was done and know what had happened in the story. This book did not disappoint and I’m so glad there was another book to the first, highly recommend this series.

I was extremely surprised over this book. I usually don’t do the romance books but this one being supernatural I figured id give it shot. And this book kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I couldn’t read it fast enough to know what was going to happen next. The book was well written and took a hold of me right away, the writing of this book was so well described that it really felt like I was standing there listening in on everything that was happening. This book was filed with drama, chemistry, action, suspense, murder, supernatural beings, and so much more. Tamaska is and independent woman who is strong-willed, stubborn, hardworking, and does what she wants and doesn’t listen to anyone. Which I totally related with her the most. Kodiak was hired to protect her and really doesn’t want to and is stubborn about it too. The love hate relationship these two have was very interesting to read, because we all know they liked each other but felt the need to not show it. this book was extremely good, and I can’t wait to read the next one.

You will 100% be captivated right from the start by this fantastic, action packed Paranormal Romance. I can’t wait for more from this amazing author.

Rogue Wolf is Book Three in the Protector Wolf Shifter Series. This book picks up where the last one left off so if you have not yet read the first two books in the series, I highly recommend that you do. The first two books give Kodiak and Tamaska’s back stories, how they met, how the vampires obtained the Blood Opal and why Tamaska and Kodiak are so heavily invested in retrieving it from the vampires. It is a paranormal romance with shifters, vampires, drama, action, suspense, mystery, intrigue, passion, chemistry, and danger lurking around every corner.
Tamaska is in hiding with Kodiak’s wolf pack from the vampires who are determined to get to her. For reasons unbeknownst to her the vampires need to mix her blood with the Blood Opal which will give them special powers. Kodiak will do anything to protect Tamaska, but his wolf pack does not feel the same way as he does about Tamaska. As far as they are concerned, she brought trouble to the pack that resulted in bloodshed and the loss of several members of their pack. Out of loyalty to Kodiak the pack reluctantly agrees to protect Tamaska but have a difficult time accepting her into their pack. Kodiak is trying to become Alpha of the wolf pack so he still must prove himself worthy of the title of Alpha. Tamaska could prove to be detrimental to this if his desire to protect her is perceived as weakness by the pack.
Tamaska is anxious to be turned into a wolf shifter but does not understand all the complications that the transformation process entails. Nobody, including, Kodiak will explain the transformation process to her because they want to protect her. What she does not realize is that she may die during the transformation process. She is determined to be transformed and become accepted by the pack but fails to try to understand how the pack works. To be accepted into the wolf pack and become one of them she must follow the rules of the Alpha, who will soon be Kodiak. Tamaska is used to being strong and independent, so she goes against Kodiak’s wishes, and this risks everything he was worked for as well as her acceptance into the pack. Tamaska’s stubbornness almost proves to be fatal when she does not listen to Kodiak and is attacked by a vampire. Lucky for her, Kodiak rescues her before it is too late. When Kodiak is captured by the vampires Tamaska is determined to save him but to do so she must be transformed into a wolf shifter. Will she find someone who will transform her? Will she survive the transformation process? Will she be able to save Kodiak?
This was another phenomenal book in this series! The author does a great job creating an engaging storyline with vivid scenes that fully immerse you into the story with the characters. Tamaska was strong, determined, stubborn, pigheaded, and independent to a fault. These characteristics almost cost her life when she went against Kodiak’s wishes. She felt that she could protect herself without stopping to think about how dangerous the situation was. Not only was she risking her own life but those of Kodiak’s wolf pack as well. Kodiak was strong, smart, loyal, and a born leader. He wanted to protect both Tamaska and his wolf pack at all costs. It was up to him to make the best decisions for his pack, which included Tamaska, but she failed to understand how pack mentality worked. Both Tamaska and Kodiak failed horribly at communicating properly with one another. She felt that she could protect herself and Kodiak felt he was protecting Tamaska by keeping things from her. It was interesting to see how strong Tamaska truly was when it came time to save Kodiak. A great read that kept me hooked until the end. I highly recommend this book!

Wow, this book was an explosion of action. Tamaska is at the heart of the shifter attack. She will do anything to keep the shifters safe, especially Kodiak. The vampires are on a rampage to get to her.
Tamaska needs to learn her place with the shifters and as always she is going to have to learn the hard way. If she wants to be part of the pack and not be exiled she better learn really fast. Even Kodiak is at his wits end.
Death, vengeance, loyalty, powers of the Blood Opal, and genetics all play a role in this fabulous third book. I need more of these characters.
Fantastic world building by the author and the writing follows seamlessly.

This is the third book in the Protector Wolf Shifter Series.
Tamaska and Kodiak are both still having a push-pull contest of whether they want to be together.
It is becoming abundantly clear that Tamaska is not safe anywhere – even with the wolf shifters. The vampires will stop at nothing to get her, more specifically, her blood. The Wolf shifters early on experiencing an intense loss, making them th scramble to regroup. Why do the vampires want Tamaska? Will Tamaska and Kodiak finish their bond connection? It seems the only option is to turn Tamaska into a wolf shifter – that is, if she can survive the transformation.
I absolutely love the storyline, but …. I am not a fan of the characters themselves. It looked like it was getting better in book 2, but they just reverted to their old ways in book 3. I find both Tamaska and Kodiak extremely annoying and whiney. They both want control, but neither are willing to give even an ounce of submission. Also, several times, the author repeated things that had just happened. There were also things that were “revealed,” but technically, they had already been revealed or uncovered in book 1 or 2. Several times, characters asked questions that they should have already known the answer to. Also, there are so many things that have happened to Tamaska, yet she tells no one… I understand keeping some of the things secret because the author can not just explain everything all at once. But it just made Tamaska seem like she could care less about literally everything – her life, ancestors, the wolf shifters, and even the vampires.
I did enjoy the cliffhanger at the end, and I am looking forward to reading book 4. I would love to see more of Ash. She is by far my favorite character in the book…

I was thrilled to get to finally read the third book in this series! I swear they just keep getting better and better. Tamaska is really coming into her own and seeing her character continue to grow is so amazing to see. She is trying so hard to fit in with the pack, while still trying to figure things out in her relationship with Kodiak. There was definitely a lot going on in this book and it has been my favorite so far in the series. I am so excited to see what happens in book 4. If you love shifters, vampires, action, romance, and fantasy this book and series is for you!

This was the best book in the series thus far. It gave me everything I need in a supernatural romance novel. First off the romance between Kodiak and Tam is hot. The chemistry is felt throughout the book. They are both strong minded people but they match each other. There is plenty of action in the story and the info they learn about the blood opal is interesting. I’d definitely recommend this story to anyone who enjoys supernatural romance.

This is book 3 of the Protector Wolf Series and they just keep getting better. We are back with Tamaska and Kodiak as they struggle to be together as well as uncovering all the secrets of Tamaska’s past. This book follows on from the last book so I do recommend reading these books in order. In this book we find the Pack struggling to deal with the aftermath of the vampire attack. The pack needs to regroup and rebuild with Kodiak as their alpha. As if that isn’t hard enough Tamaska is struggling to find her place within the pack. Does she even belong there? And what happens if the pack don’t except her? Will Kodiak have to choose between his mate and his pack? Tamaska’s got her own stuff to deal with as well. Still trying to understand this new world she finds herself in she doesnt understand the dangers she puts herself in by defying Kodiak’s orders which in turn puts the pack in danger. She knows she needs to be accepted into the pack so she can be with Kodiak so she needs to understand her past and what she finds reveals answers to the questions of Why does Tamaska seem more than human? What is the Blood Opal used for? And why do the vampires need Tamaska? This story is full of action as the pack try to protect themselves from the vampires attacks but what will happen when Kodiak gets kidnapped? Will they be able to rescue him in time? Will the pack exchange Tamaska for Kodiak’s release? Will Tamaska finally listen and obey orders or will her indepdent attitude be the one thing that saves Kodiak and the pack? I loved this story and can’t wait to see what happens next.

After reading all 3 series I fell in love with the story. Love the characters especially Kodiak who never left Tamaska’s side and Tamaska for believing in herself so that she can figure out about the. But the two together in this world of vampires is a whole different ball game for them.
I love how the author Lilliana made these two love each other and how both need each other. I love Kodiak he is brave and courageous to risk his life for his mate.

I enjoyed this book very much. Tamaska and Kodiak’s story just keeps getting better and better. The story had so many intense moments and really kept me interested in finding out how everything worked out. I love the world created by this author it is so colorful and dynamic. This is a good series and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys vampire and werewolf stories.

This is the third book of the Protector Wolf Shifter series and is set directly after the second book. If you haven’t read books one and two, I highly recommend you do so!
Still cleaning up the mess left behind after the fight with the vampires, Kodiak doesn’t have even a second to rest. Receiving the title of Alpha is a wonderful gift but it won’t be official until they do a ceremony. Kodiak cannot show weakness until he is officially Alpha and that means he needs to put Tamaska at a distance for now while he establishes his worthiness to the rest of the pack.
Tamaska is left in the dark because she is not a wolf nor is she technically part of the pack. Being the only human around doesn’t help either. She doesn’t understand anything going on and no one will give her any answers. Tamaska starts to get angry and rebel which won’t help her case for being accepted into the pack one day but she doesn’t care anymore. She will get answers one way or another.
The vampires are still after Tamaska. They need her blood for the blood opal in their possession. The vampires capture Kodiak and offer Tamaska a deal. They will release Kodiak if they can have her. The rest of the pack and Tamaska have to figure out how to get their Alpha back while protecting Tamaska and also somehow getting the blood opal away from the vampires before it’s too late. The fight never seems to end. The Shadow Pack is not one to back down when the going gets tough. The question is will they make it out alive this time?
I am LOVING this series so far. Tamaska is sassy, independent and headstrong, the perfect match for Kodiak but not the perfect match for the mate of the Alpha. She needs to learn to let people in if she wants to be accepted. I enjoyed reading her character arc so far and can’t wait to read more especially after the ending of this book. The author does a great job keeping you hooked from the first page to the last leaving you craving the next book immediately. This series is probably one of my favourites I have read this year!

This is book three of the Protector Wolf Shifter Series and I think it may have become my new favorite. I’ve truly enjoyed reading the first three titles of this series and have remained hooked from the very first page.
Book three finds Tamasca and Kodiak dealing with an insane scenario. Tamasca is determined to complete the change to a wolf shifter so she can have a new level of protection against the never ending hunt by the vampires. She is aware of the possibility of a dangerous and lethal result. Whereas, Kodiak is not a fan of anything that may end her life or put her in danger. His love and need to protect her at all cost is strong and puts them at odds due their inability to come to a compromise. As their terrible luck continues, Kodiak finds himself captured by the vile vampires, leaving Tamasca to look for new options to help her complete the change and get back her mate. Danger seems to be attracted to both of these characters, so you know going into book three you’re going to experience a lot of drama, action, politics, and suspense.
I feel as if Tamasca is a bit of a bad ass in the making. Her character also showed a lot of growth as she found herself without her mate and still extremely vulnerable. Kodiak on the hand is your typical alpha with a bit of a teddy bear underneath. Hopefully the author will expand a bit more on that in the future storyline.
If you enjoy fantasy supernatural romance reads, you will find that here and more. Please read books one and two before jumping into this one so you’ll understand the backstory and details surrounding the main characters. They truly have endured a lot and come a long way in their character growth.
I’m looking forward to book number four and so on. Enjoy reading this incredible series.

5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I continue to love hard on this series so much. This paranormal romance gives me all the feels that I love with drama, romance, vampires, shifters and the continue search for the Blood Opal. The back and forth between Alpha Kodiak and Tamaska still continues all with one purpose…kill the vampires. I highly recommend reading this series in order as this story picks up after the ending of book 2.
Tamaska and Kodiak are still fighting against the evil vampires as the Shadow Pack suffered loss and the vampires are still relentless to take Tamaska for their own use. Changes within the pack are coming, but not everyone wants to be on board. So many of the pack believe that Tamaska is the issues and why so much blood is shed…and Tamaska feels bad for everything that is happening. Kodiak will stop at nothing to make Tamaska his as his mate, with conversations of changing Tamaska as a shifter. So many questions arise as well as secrets being kept from Tamaska. There is something special about her….
Will Kodiak become the leader that the Shadow Pack needs and also keep Tamaska as his own or wil the vampires have their way and will Tamaska be there when Kodiak needs her the most.
Great series..I highly recommend so much! I am so excited there will be another book in this series!

The third book in the series. I highly recommend you read them in order so you can follow the characters and the story. This paranormal series keeps you on your toes and sucks you in pretty quick. The author does a wonderful job of world and character building. We continue the story of Tamaska and Kodiak, except now Kodiak is the Alpha of the pack and Tamaska is not so patiently waiting to become a wolf. Kodiak has his pack to consider and at the same time he needs to consider his relationship with Tamaska and taking her as his mate. I really enjoyed this book and love that the series continues to be about Kodiak and Tamaska.

Changes. This series has found its way deep into my soul as I truly cannot get enough of this amazing series. Please note that this is the third installment in the Protector Wolf Shifter series, and it is not a standalone book. Told through Tamaska and Kodiak’s perspectives once more as their story continues to evolve. Tamaska has accepted the darkness in the world. Once thought only to be fairy tales in books and movies to scare children, are anything but fairy tales. Darkness fills her city and the darkest of them want her. Kodiak won the battle and finally taken his place as the Alpha of the Shadow pack. His first task is to change the rule that made him and Tamaska’s relationship viewed as a crime, making it so that he can officially make her his mate. So many questions, mystery and hurtles lie before them to continue the hunt for the Blood Opal and why the vampires want Tamaska. While Kodiak wants Tamaska to become a shifter not only so she can truly be his mate but to protect her from the vampires he questions if she could survive the transformation itself. So much loss has happened and Tamaska feels the guilt weighing on her that she can’t protect herself much less anyone else that risk their lives to keep her safe. A simple task, running to her apartment to get some of her personal belongings, changes everything. Kodiak has been taken by the vampires in hopes of luring Tamaska out. Needless to say, I will eagerly await the next installment Cursed Wolf. In the meantime, I may dive into the authors other series Witch Moon.

In this third book from the Protector Wolf Shifter series you’ll continue to follow Tamaska and her journey into shifting. I recommend reading from the beginning book as these aren’t stand alone books. It is a paranormal love story. It has action and mystery and stubbornness. It is an easy read and allows you vivid imagery.
