To be honest, I really wasn’t sure what to expect. There are some folks out there that throw words on a page in a haphazard sort of way, and call it poetry. Some quite enjoy the spontaneity of this work, and others require a little more effort put in to the way that emotions, feelings, and knowledge is brought forward in a poetic sort of way. I am one of the latter, and after getting into these pages, I really enjoyed it.

This author put down his thoughts, regardless of his person being tormented, deliriously happy, confused or unsure, and sculpted them into something delectable. I will be going back and reading many of these at a later date when I am more in tune with my own person so I can enjoy the accuracy of the poems within, but for now, many of them brought me feelings of peace and confirmation that I am not alone. I do recommend giving this unique read a go, you may find it to be inspiring, well done!

The Colors of Love (The Colors Trilogy Book 2) by K.R. Raye . This is a great story in the Colors Trilogy. Its the continuing story of Lance who has been known in the past for his way with the ladies but now he knows for the sake of his girls he has to settle down. Imani is usually the level headed one of the bunch but when she gets in a long distance relationship with a guy she loses all her good sense. Melody is still reeling from the last relationship she was in and has decided she doesn’t want to go thru that again. All the while they are trying to juggle school along with all these relationship issues. Lance is also trying to continue to hope to make the NFL draft and be a positive role model for his girls. Will they all be able to make it? Read this fun young adult story that will have you turning pages as fast as you can.

zreya, Aztec Priestess: An Illustrated Mythology Legend by Tricia Copeland, Illustrated by Matt Maes. This is a great young adult story about mythology and paranormal fantasy. Its the story of Azreya a Aztec Princess who has been put into the custody of a shaman, Nukpana who is supposed to help her learn how to use her powers and to tame the beast inside of her. The only problem is Nukpana is not her friend and can not be trusted. It is thought that Azreya is cursed and that is the reason she has the beast inside her. If that demon inside her somehow takes over she will die. So learning how to contain it is crucial. Azreya’s one goal is to help her people so learning to control herself is imperative. I love this author and her writing is so descriptive that you feel as if you are there. Such a good young adult paranormal read!

This is an historical mystery series featuring plucky teenager Emma whom we follow as she investigates various crimes and mysteries, here, and throughout the series. She has a knack for solving crime and this is the book that starts it all.
With adventure, drama, danger, secrets, corruption, and more- made for an intriguing read.

This is an adorable double dinosaur adventure! Having 2-books-in-1 is a wonderful idea. The graphics used for illustration give the pictures texture and make for a more interesting story. I read both stories several times to my grandkids and they were captivated by the dinosaurs adventure. A recommended read for your little ones!

This was a great 5 star read.
We do get a slow start but boy it kicks in and we get a great steamy read.
Celia is looking for a husband but she’s not sure if anyone will accept her and the secret she carries. She meets Gabriel and they have an instant attraction. Once they share a kiss, Gabriel knows he has to have Celia. Will they be able to get their HEA?

Overall I really enjoyed this read. The author pulls you in with her writing. We get some very steamy scenes. You can feel their attraction come off the pages, I really loved this couple. They both had issues that they were dealing with and I liked how Gabriel helped Celia get past her fears. If you’re looking for a great steamy historical romance this is the series for you and lI ook forward to the next book in the series 1-click and get started today..

The penultimate novel in this amazing series takes us to Cam and Freyja, now happily together, with their growing family and putting their focus on new efforts in the ever-changing world. They have been slowly learning of the true origins of the new colonies and antipodes and the intentions of repopulating the Earth after the devastation of the water infestation. As these new discoveries unravel, so are other secretive possibilities which set off Cam and Freyja on another journey to Clava, the main hub of technological and medical expertise.
As the novel series continues, I brought to flashbacks of some of my other favorites, Lost (TV Series), Hunger Games and Divergent series (books and movies) that gives its reader the thrill of wanting to know what will happen next. One of my favorite parts of this series so far is watching these characters go from their young adult selves to active adults within their working community and striving for the best outcome for the newly expanded families. As the readers, we see how they interpret and accept their new world and its vastly secretive objectives as they take their own stance in fighting for what’s right. What would you do to understand the circumstances they face?

Caim is the fourth installment of the Antipodes series, and I am completely obsessed with all of the characters still. T.S. Simons makes you really feel every single moment throughout the story.

Freyja and Cam are in a blissful bubble with their friends and family. They have all gone through incredibly tough times in the previous books but now they are living peaceful lives. When individuals from their past show up, things begin getting a little tougher until they all realize they have even more scary times ahead. Will they make it back to their joyful lives or will this journey end in nothing but tragedy?

I highly recommend picking this series up and absorbing each installment. This was an emotional read, but you definitely won’t be disappointed!

This is a must read. As soon as I started reading this book I couldn’t put it down. I know it’s going to be a good book when it has Jake and Cody in it but this one exceeded my expectations. This story has twists and turns, action, danger, suspense, and great characters. The author took me through an emotional journey with this book and I found myself at the end of my seat several times while reading. This was just a thrilling read. I can’t wait to read another book by this exceptional author because I know it will be a great read like every book I have read by him. I highly recommend this book.

Even so he is able to fit in and is tolerated in all the noble circles and friends with many who were actually born with a title. He also is friends with people on the other side of that coin who make their living in other ways that may or may not be legal. Mr. Rose has had his eye on Lady Celia Buchanan for some time. He feels like his is unworthy of her affections due to the circumstances surrounding who his father may or may not be and doesn’t see the lady possibly being with someone like him. Lady Celia comes from a very different background where she has never had to question one’s birth status, had everything she could ever want or need, and been pampered her whole life. Her mother is trying to find her a suitable husband no matter how much she protests. She has noticed Gabriel watching her from the shadows but seems to have a hard time at first with the feelings he stirs within her. She has secrets that she hopes to remain hidden until she is wed or she may be ruined. Gabriel had already saved her from a couple precarious situations that could have seen her wed to a man she did not want to marry. This was a cute read! This is a (sometimes morbid) re-telling of the classic story Cinderella. It’s set in a modern time, with a teenage pop star instead of a prince. This is definitely a YA book, you can tell mot only in the content but also in writing style. I enjoyed reading this book as it was different than other reimagined stories I’ve read in the past. This is the first time I’ve read this author before and I’m excited to read more stories from her in the future.

A good paranormal romance book! Our lead characters are written well but could use a little more fleshing out. I feel like they are just on the cusp of being spectacular! Raven has the charm of a witch coming into her own and her power. She has gone the road of “being normal” and now has been pulled in to the world of her family and ancestry. Romano is an old master vampire with a long-standing hatred of witches. He is tasked with finding the traitors in the midst of his people. He catches Raven spying on his home and is instantly captivated with her. Poof! He is over his hatred and mistrust.
The world is well-written but could also use a little more fleshing out in the details.
Overall, the book is really good! It just feels a little rushed and like a few more details could be added to really knock it out of the park!

Super breeding ethics and dark dark intentions come to a head in this story and Freyja and Cam have one more mission and this one is for family.

Laugh out loud funny! Made me imagine I was sitting beachside with my toes in the sand, book & beverage in my hand!
Quick, easy, enjoyable read! While book 3 in the Postscript Island series is a stand alone novel, I do wish that I would have read the other two prior! Loved the author (R.S Jonesee) and their writing style! I will DEFINITELY seek out the other novels to go back and read!

Marissa & Weston were high school sweethearts until one day, Weston decided it was “too much” and left the island to pursue his dreams. Weston eventually returns home to the island, as he mom attempts to lure him home permanently with a business offer that he can’t refuse.

A nudist colony, a condom company, lots of laughs, some romance, and a mystery to solve…..all in a gorgeous, tropical setting. It doesn’t get any better than this! 5 stars! Highly recommend

Captivating love story—couldn’t put down!

Book 1 in the trading places trilogy was phenomenal!! I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish! Beautiful love story depicting a second chance at true love, leaving the reader hoping for happily, ever after! Full of emotions at every turn! Great read—I CAN NOT wait to dive into book 2!

There is a lot going on throughout The Colors of Love and so many characters with issues of their own to meet. Emotions run high from page one and never let up. In this book you get love, sadness, deceit, betrayal, heartache, grief, and jealousy. There is a lot to take in, including possible triggers: suicide, racism, domestic violence, and kidnapping.

Once again I was a tad disappointed. I started off thinking that Lance was gonna be the star of this book but it didn’t really feel that way, it seemed to be more about his escapades than him protecting his girls. Imani was very annoying to me in this book, the mixed signals, how she handles the issues with melody, she was just too all over the place.

I will say that unwavering friendship is a wonderful thing and I think it’s beautiful in these books. It’s always good to have a couple of good people on your corner.

From the first few pages of this book I knew I would love this book! The first in the series always sets the tone for what else is to come, and this one proved the same, also ending with the perfect setup for the second book in the series.

I loved how the author first introduces us to Josh, giving us an inside look at how his life has been for him all of these years since last seeing Maeve. I fell in love with both him and Maeve early on in the book, and throughout the love triangle between him and Maeve and Austin, I was cheering for him to be the lucky guy that Maeve chooses. I can’t wait to see where the trilogy goes and am excited to read more!

This book is a great ending to this series. Our core group of friends, Melody, Lance and Imani are faced with new life challenges, and must sort out their relationships in order to be able to save their friendships. When the spouse of one of them unexpectedly passes away, the three musketeers must pull together to help one of their own. Their relationships as well as their individual relationships to other college friends, and even their own family members are all affected, examined, and changed. This book will make you realize just how important relationships are in life, and help you to appreciate those who are always there for you, no matter what.

I love mythology books and this one does not disappoint. Azreya is a curious, yet intelligent child that is Cursed by the Tepeyollotli at birth. Her parents, with the guidance of a shaman named Nukpana decided to leave her with the Shaka so he can help her beat the demon within her.
Although Nukpana teaches Azreya everything she knows, he is no friend to her and she ends up on her own with the knowledge that the Spanish are going to invade her land and if she doesn’t get all of the Aztecs to fight as one her people and her culture will be destroyed.

Book three of the Colors trilogy, this one knocked my socks right off. So much going on with Lance, Melody and Imani. It’s good to see that they still stick together. I felt every emotion through this story: happiness, pain, joy and sadness, all of it. The author has tied up the storyline so well that everything comes together. It is a happy ending with some pain along the way. The characters are familar faces that we have come to know and love. They are still so easy to relate to. If you haven’t tried this story or this series, I recommed you do. This is series that is better read in order.

I think this is a good start to a new series. It definitely felt like it was setting the scene for the other books to come but it was a great way to be introduced to the characters and the overall story. I enjoyed reading about the main character. She is strong and interesting to read about and, for me, carried the story.
The book was quite a short read, fast paced and fully of action. I think the author had a bit of scope to go into more detail and draw it out a bit longer but I enjoyed what had been written. This book has done its job and got me interested enough to read what comes next.

A second chance, opposites attract romance with some really good character development. Kylee and Jayson had a strong chemistry between them, even though they really should stay away from each other. Their worlds clash in a big way and yet they find themselves drawn to each other.
I thought the overall story was pretty good. I found the switch between 1st and 3rd person to be a little confusing at times. I think the story would have been stronger for the author picking one POV to tell the story in. However, I enjoyed the idea behind the story and found myself engaged in what I was reading. This is a good book with some great characters.

This is book four in this gripping dystopian romance series, and having read and enjoyed the previous three books, I was looking forward to this fourth instalment, and I was not disappointed. I would recommend reading the novels in order as the storyline continues where the last book left off. It was nice being back with the wonderfully detailed main characters, Cam and Freyja, who are now happily living with their family and friends on Lewis. They are finally feeling safe and content within their isolated and sustainable community, having gone back to their Gaelic roots. The community are getting used to living their ‘new normal’ lives, calling on the circle of protection and security that the Caim provides.
However, it’s not long before their frightening adventures continue, when old acquaintances arrive with shocking news, forcing Cam, Freyja, and a few trusted friends to leave their homes behind once again. The couple will also discover the truth about why they were chosen, and what the diabolical plans are that the scientific community has planned, especially for Freyja. Yet again the descriptive narrative brings the setting vividly to life making me feel immersed in the story. The plot twists kept me hooked and the storyline is a mix of drama, mystery and romance, which ensured I was happily turning the pages, late into the night! I look ‘impatiently’ forward to book five!
