An enjoyable cozy mystery! This author consistently delivers fun and unique storylines and this one is no exception. It is a fun way to start a new series.

This page-turner was a great, fast read with laugh out loud moments and solid storyline!

This author knew what she was doing. You have a long story that is surprise after surprise and we have suspense, mystery and a female MC you CANNOT go wrong. Plucked from her ordinary life to journey to an alternate world to retrieve a priceless relic, The MC breaks the rules to sneak her best friend along to help with a quest of her own. I loved this and it’s only book one. What would you do if the person you love disappeared?! I need a best friend like van. A book with a moral of growth and development. This is the definition of teen fiction/young adult and it is great. It checks all the boxes and I like that I found humor in the villain. I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

I loved the concept of this book but it didn’t quite hit for me. I love other things from this author so I 100% believe its just me. What I liked: -The concept of the story. The other gods things Eros is a lighting stock and his job as cupid is the easiest. They make a bet that they can do his job in return for him doing theirs. -Spring, I loved her as a character, she is dead set on making her family gardening shop a success. I love a character with dedication. What I felt like was missing: (view spoiler)[- More between Alex and Spring, you had a feeling they would end up together from the start but there was just something missing. (hide spoiler)] – Luke, very much felt like that character was not needed at all for this story, I understand it was Gretas initial love interest for Spring but I just felt like it was a useless character.
Since there are other gods I feel this book is set up to have sequels and I will probably read them as well because I love the author, this one just wasn’t for me.

Yesssssss. This was the best book so far omg I cried and screamed and stopped for a break. When Iron starts prospecting with the Grimm Wolves MÇ, he feels like he has found a safe haven with his club brothers and their families. As they open their hearts to not only him but to his daughter, Everly, and his baby momma, Joy, he feels a sense of security for the first time since all the lies began. This is a beautiful, adventurous, action packed quick read that touch’s the soul. This author is a master of creativity. I fell in love with this story,it gave me Dear John vibes. This is a must read perfect for book club. As the fourth book in the series I am convinced they you can read them separately and still understand the vibe. I truly appreciate a good book, and this is five stars easy.

What happens when your past pounds on your door and you lose the little control you have over your own life? This was a little rough for me to read. This story was very quick and jam packed. Surprise after surprise. We continue the intensity of this motorcycle club. This author has a way of making readers connect with each and every character. I love that each book gives you new characters and keeps the love of others. Each story goes in depth of the family that this club created. Who is your favorite character? I do not have an answer. This is a cute spin on the holidays. Oh boy, this gets better with every page. I wish they were longer, I want more of each story.

Ohh my, this book was fantastic. This story follows Regan, a southside local in Boston who meets Jeremy, the rich developer from LA. At first glance, Regan thinks she knows the kind of guy Jeremy is, the typical rich snob but once she gets to know him and they run into each other by chance she sees a different side to him. Can two people from completely different worlds fall in love and get their happily ever after is the question of this book. This love story was spicy and I didn’t expect it but loved it all the same. I appreciated the realness and heavy topics and the drama was just enough but not too far that it was overkill. I’m a sucker for dual POV and the epilogues always get me. This was a winner and it’s only the start of the month but this is a contender for best book of the month for me. 4.5/5

I absolutely loved this book. It is such a fun romance book that was entertaining. I loved the authors take on these God’s and how she has created a fun story out of it. Although it was a Romance story she really kept the mythical element to it. The interaction between the characters was great to see. I thought they were all dynamic and really easy to read about. As the first book to a new series I thought this was a great way to start it!
This book was extremely well written. I enjoyed a lot the portrayal of Beelezebub, as well as the different take on everything. The twist on the angel and demon dynamic was fantastic, as were the characters themselves. I won’t go into details about the plot so as not to spoil it, but you will not be disappointed in this novel. It’s a refreshing take, with characters that are intriguing and all-consuming (pun intended). I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have.

Mermaid and the Rainbow: Mermaid Science is such a great little book. My eight-year-old granddaughter is not a science fan but after reading this book, we had to perform the science experiments as they were done in the book. Such a great way to get the littles interested in science by putting the experiments and results in a story. Can I just say that I love all the characters and find it charming that they teaching science geared towards little ones? I love the storyline about Mermaid coming ashore to play with her friends and to share her knowledge to others. It’s a great read and is given five stars by my granddaughter!

Deacon Saint is back home for a funeral after 10 years. Nothing is going how he thought it would. His mom has Alzheimer’s, he just lost one of his best friends, and he has a life changing job that he must decide if he will take. Now she has run into his long lost love Olivia Bane. Can they both get past their past? Are there still feelings or is it too late? This was such a great book. So well written and the characters were just awesome! If you have never read a MC book, I would highly recommend it!

A thoroughly enjoyable second chance at love romance which had me hooked from start to finish. When Deacon Saint returns to his hometown, Alama, Tennessee, having left ten years before to start his MotoGP racing career, he knew things could get difficult. After all, he’s mourning the tragic loss of his best friend, leaving behind his racing career, and dealing with his mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis. However, he did not expect to come face to face with the girl he’s always loved and who broke his heart, Olivia Bane. Meanwhile, Olivia was enjoying her perfect life, working as a nurse, having a group of great friends and a boyfriend who’s a doctor, and then Deacon returns and her life turns chaotic. Suddenly, her boyfriend turns out to be a monster, she’s at risk of loosing her job, and worse of all, she’s at risk of falling in love with the person who previously broke her heart, Deacon. Deacon will need more than his, ‘good old Southern country charm’ if he’s to win her back! I loved the main characters, independent Olivia and, ‘smooth talkin’’ Deacon, and although their past has made them wary of one another, which comes across in the narrative, their chemistry also sizzled off the page. I felt immersed in the storyline, which had plenty of plot twists to keep me happily turning the pages, and I was hoping the couple would get their HEA. An entertaining and engaging read, which I recommend.

This is such a powerful story the characters are brought to life before your eyes. Olivia and Deacon have both a painful history which effect them now and in the past. There is many trigger in this book as it haz some dark points. Running into a former lover is harder enough add in death. A great read.

Spring’s Shower is the first in the Seasons of Magic series from the highly entertaining C.A. King. It is the story of a bet made between Eros and four other gods; Mother Nature, Neptune, the Grim Reaper, and Santa Claus. The gods believe that Eros has the easiest job of all of them and Eros challenges them to do just that. Each god much make a true love match to win the bet. First up is Mother Nature, who goes by Greta for this story. She travels to a small town and finds a gardener named Spring, who is as in need of love as her plants are in need of water. Greta thinks she’s found Spring’s perfect match in a stranded celebrity but it soon becomes clear that nothing is simple in love and war.
This book was so light-hearted and wonderful. If you’re looking for a palate cleanser after a dark romance or just need something that will give you warm and fuzzy feelings, this book is perfect for you! It is well-paced and the detail is splendid. The unique personalities of the gods and the mortals come alive with King’s word choice. Although there is no spice in this book it is one I challenge you to not smile throughout. I look forward to reading the next book that features Neptune in the summertime!
In this book we meet Trezzie the mermaid, and her human friends Fig and Maia. Freddie brings them a mirror and glass that she has found in the lake. Maia proceeds to teach Trezzie and Fig cool science experiments ‘tricks’ they can show others.
This short but sweet picture book is perfect for 6-9 year olds to teach them simple and fun tricks they can try themselves. Highly recommended.

And again another fantastic 5 star read from this author! I loved Marvel and Virginia’s story the way they met was just so unique and different to any of the other stories this author has written. They had a connection born from being in a situation that only each other could understand. I loved reading about how their relationship progressed, it was clear that they were meant for each other but with a few bumps along the way. This is the fourth book in this series and possibly my favourite so far! I am very excited to read more from this author as always.

I absolutely loved this book and what an introduction it was to a new author! I was hooked from the very first page. The writing was exciting and so easy to read. I loved Deacon and Olivia, both of their past gave them reason to resent each other, they both held painful memories. There were some really emotional parts to the story and I really was wrapped up in Deacon and Olivia’s story and I was definitely rooting for them the whole way through. The author did an amazing job with this story and I am really looking forward to reading more from them in the future.

Enemies to lovers in a big way. Deacon comes home after a long stint away, for a funeral no less. He bumps into Olivia and those old sparks fly. This story had the best and the worst of the characters. They were so detailed and in depth you really get a great sense of who they are. Both the characters and the story line are a driving force to this novel and truly make it one story you won’t be able to put down!

This is the fourth book in this series and boy was it a good one!! I love the way this author spreads out the details to both the characters and the story line. This story is the continuing antics of main character Dahlia Nite who investigates crimes of supernatural characters. The world this author has built is complex and intriguing and will hook you from book one. This is not a stand alone and you really need to read these in order. You won’t be sorry but be prepared because you won’t be able to put these books down.
This is a great second chance romance/enemies to lovers contemporary romance novel that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I had never read any of this author’s work previously but was very intrigued by the blurb and decided to give it a chance. I’m so glad that I did. If this book is anything to go by then I’m going to read more of this author’s work. I’m already excited to read the next instalment as Kyle is made out to be an unsavoury character, so I’m wondering how his story will go. Getting back to this book, I adored Deacon and Olivia. Both are amazing characters that I could really relate to. This book just oozed angst and I’m a sucker for an angsty book. These two just needed to give into their feelings. But then the story would be over too soon and we wouldn’t get this emotional read that had me gripped from beginning to end. There is a great storyline running alongside the romance. Set in the motorbiking world there is a lot of drama, danger and intrigue to keep you engrossed and very entertained. I loved the closeness and camaraderie between Deacon and his group of friends ‘the disciples’ and can’t wait to find out more about these guys as the series continues.

A Bad Boy, Doctor, and Southern Belle walk in a bar….
Well maybe not into a bar. Deacon Saint has been gone for 10 years and so much has changed. His family, friends, and love of his life are all grown up and moved on… So he thought.
Olivia Bane…. She definitely didn’t think she’d see Deacon again.. especially at one of his best friends funerals… But.. there he was.. Just as perfect as she remembered… What would her boyfriend think of this…
Dr. Martin is an outstanding Doctor… but is that all he uses his hands for?
If I could give this book more then 5 stars I definitely would! I LOVE the multi POV between the two main characters. The plot and the way everything ran together was AMAZING! It was sweet, sultry, real, emotional story will have you laughing, crying, and yelling all o the same page! I would definitely recommend this book to everyone to read!

This story and start to a new series was amazing from start to finish. I could not get enough! I loved the main character Ezri . She was inspirational in her own way, and tough as nails. With her own version of feistiness. She had and has a lot going on yet, stayed true to all she believed in!
Story was very engaging. It was very easy to lose track of time while reading. I loved the paranormal version, also loved Ezri being a detective and a witch. I enjoyed reading to find out how she came to be, and the stuff that happened to her that she wanted to get justice for. It was great character development through out the entire reading. Leading up to the ending I was on the edge of my sea wanting more! The author wrote a great story and certainly knew how to keep the reader interested! Loved it truly!
Wonderful book and for sure a must read author. I can not wait to read the next installment in the series. I highly recommend this must read book. Defiantly not a book or a book of characters to miss out on!

This was my first MC romance book and boy did the author deliver! I absolutely loved that there was more than just *spicy* romance. You really get to know the characters, especially Deacon and Olivia, and the good, bad, and ugly of them. This was an amazing way to start off the series and I cannot wait for the next book! I’m totally hooked! Deacon Saint comes home after being away for 10 year for a funeral he doesn’t want to attend. While grappling with his feelings over losing one of his best friends, finding out his mother has Alzheimer’s, and a life-changing job decision, Deacon runs into Olivia Bane, the former love of his life. He still hasn’t forgiven her for what she did 10 years ago and she hasn’t forgiven him either. Still reeling from the loss of her father, Olivia doesn’t want to deal with Deacon, but she has too…per her father’s will. There’s definitely more to the story with these two and there’s no denying the fireworks and electricity between them. But there are trials and tribulations that they have to overcome together and on their own. Deacon and Olivia’s story is full of twists and turns, but well worth it! C.J. Warrant definitely knows how to hook her readers in and keep them coming back for more!

An excellent and sweet story about a magic pencil. The element of curiosity and mystery kept my niece and I on our toes. Truly a story about doing good in the world, with such a sweet touch. Recommend this book for all young kids.
The Sound of Murder is the first book in a new series, Musical Murder Mystery, by K.L. Montgomery. It’s an intriguing cosy mystery- a whodunnit with crime and investigation, drama, suspense, and likeable characters. It is set in the world of theatre- which gave this book an extra element of interest. A chorus girl with her first ‘big break’. A travelling theatre show. A beloved musical. Murder. Intrigue. A whodunnit element. A mystery to solve, with a killer to catch. Bringing danger to the show. All results in another winning recipe from K.L. Montgomery! I was quickly engrossed in the story and thought it was a great start to this new series and quite an enjoyable read. K.L Montgomery brought some fun and just a little quirkiness to the table with this mystery- and the result is quite engaging. Happy reading!

I adore the concept of this series. Cupid job seems like the easiest of all how hard is it to make people fall in love right. The others think cupid has or the easiest of all. As it it spring time and mother nature is out to play cupid realise its not an easy task to make these fall on love. Mother nature is acting as a mortal how hard is it to fall in love can cupid succeed in his mission of a lifetime.

When I tell you I connect so well with this character! This series is going to ruin me. I thought the first book was good and I lied this was amazing it’s pulling at my heart strings. Feeling the weight of life, how can Our MC prove to the only family he has ever had that He is worth the trouble? Or maybe the truth is he’s not! It all depends on how much The Grimm Wolves MC are willing to put up with by one of their newest prospects. I understand the yearn for acceptance and this series isn’t just amazingly written each one highlights a moral and life lesson. Foster care is dramatic & traumatizing (from experience) and it can shape you or break you. This book shows the evolution of an empath and the irony of feeling all others emotions while you struggle with yours. Ugh it’s beautiful. I will give this every star if I could!

As with everything in Francis’ life there is good and bad. Will Francis, Grace and Damien be able to overcome their problems for a happily ever after or will fate once again cause chaos for them? This was excitingly good. The gripping hold that it has from the very beginning with a conclusion that has you ready for book 2. An empath living a double like ….sexy firefighter and tough nomad. This will have you screaming with joy and full of wonder. Only time will tell us what destiny has in store for these amazing characters. This was a different read then I’m use to but worth every page.

What a ride! Wow this story is filled with action, action, action and suspense. I loved it and could hardly put it down! It starts off with a bang and lets me get to know the Disciples, which I loved. This made me feel for each of the characters….even Randy.
The secondary characters are just as fun and interesting as the main ones. It seems everyone has a secret and ten years is too long to be gone and expect everything to be the same. I enjoy all the secrets as they unravel..so fun trying to figure them out beforehand.
This book is extremely well written. The story flows quickly and smoothly. The characters are memorable and relatable. I do have a ton of notes on every character as they all have numerous quirks, loves and ideals. I can not wait for more from this author or this series!

This is such a beautiful sci-fi romance. I really enjoyed this book! It’s the perfect mix of sci-fi, action and sweet romance and heat. Arkon and Vanessa feel an immediate pull to each other but Vanessa has been hurt so badly in the past that she shys away. It doesn’t take long for Arkon to start to wriggle around the walls she has in place and he begins to warm her heart. They both have to face the demons of their past and open up and trust each other if they want to have a chance of making their budding romance last. I really loved the ending of this book and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

This book had me excited from the cover alone! You immediately think murder mystery theater mixed with Oktoberfest. I could not get enough of Ruby. She was sweet, talented, and down to earth. When a member of her theater cast is murdered eyebrows are raised and questions are had. Ruby immediately dives in to figure out the mystery and the case begins. This book was fun, funny, had a delightful group of characters, and of course an amazing MC. This mystery is a perfect companion to a cozy chair and hot cup of tea.
