Brilliant imagery and mystery This is a very engaging and intriguing read. Set in Scotland in the Viking era, this is a murder mystery whodunnit that kept my interest. The writing is polished and swept me away on a fantastic journey. This is the 4th book in the series but the first book I have read. I am eager to go back to the start of the series and read from where it all began. Recommended.

This story was deeply emotional and moving contemporary romance that will bring you to tears and fill your heart with hope and happiness. The story was very engaging and had me riveted to each word. I became heavily invested in this couple and they were endlessly entertaining. Sparks flew between them for the very beginning. But the tenacious, never back down personality of the leading man meant that the leading lady was in for a hum dinger of a battle. Keeping her distance was an impossibility, and locking down feelings was a lost cause. Masterfully written and intricately thought out. These characters were expertly interwoven and the reader will be left with many fond memories. 4 stars.
This is the 3rd book in the Journeys through series and they just keep getting better and better. I highly recommend reading all these books in order so that you understand the full story and also don’t get overwhelmed by the amount of characters. The author does an amazing job making each character unique and giving them all a purpose and identity which means the reader can easily tell them apart. This is a great adventure from the beginning. It’s fast paced and a story or good vs evil in a fight to save planet earth and all the other planets in the Multi Verse. There is a prophecy that needs to be understood to figure out how to save them all but with the forces of evil getting more powerful and 2 of the important people trapped this leaves the fate of everything in the hands of Matt and his other friends from across the Multiverse. The connection between the characters is also really unique such as Matt and Rashella being twins in a different time and seeing how that connection plays out even though now they are from 2 separate worlds.
This is definately a book for someone who loves a story that will grab a hold of you and not let go. You find yourself getting lose in the journey through time and space and fighting to save your world from a threat you didn’t even know existed.

I have been invested in this series (and Author) from the 1st book, and just like the previous two, I could not find a “stopping point” to quit reading for the night. The worlds and characters in this series can seem a bit hard to follow AT FIRST but once you get a hang of who is who, and from where (or when), it flows very nicely. This series is SO unique, you are not only following one character, or even one group of characters, in a single timeline. This is different species. Different Worlds. This is a MULTIVERSE of characters and dilemmas. Think of Game of Thrones meets Sci-Fi. You have the twisted and intertwined storylines, that all come together to form a neat and tidy plot. I have never encountered another author that makes such complex world building and creativity seem so flawless and natural. This is past meets future, peace meets war, and simple meets complex, all at once. Pick this one (and the previous 2 books) up and you will be in for a whirlwind of fantasy heaven! The multiverse is in danger, entire universes are to be erased from existence. Ancient twins Matt and Rashella must journey through vast worlds, universes, and even their own spiritual consciousness to stop an ancient prophecy and rescue their mentors from a grand illusion. Tensions rise as the pair prepare for their biggest battle yet. Will the power of unity triumph over the former celestial ruler, the devil who believes that only the truly supreme shall rule? Or will universes collapse, crumble under the weight of the crimson “god’s” greed? What a wonderful read! I love this series so much and as always I was hooked from page one!!!! Such an engaging story makes you feel like anything is possible!! I really liked seeing where the characters are and how they have grown throughout. I felt really connected to them through James Talisman’s writing. He builds beautiful and vast worlds with such striking characters. My favorite part was how the Spirit Servitors were described! Just a fantastical book that blends the Ancient with the Futuristic in a fun and unique way. It’s both an epic and satisfying read!!!! I cannot say enough about this book, I highly recommend it!!!!

Such as sweet book! Noah seems like a wonderful man, it sucked to see that his land was taken away by his father unless he got married. On the other hand it was a great idea to give him his land after he gets married, it was a way for his dad to ensure a happy future for his child. Mary, such a sweetheart, I was so sad to see how she was treated by her father, and how selfless she was. When her and Noah finally get to meet my heart broke along with his learning how Mary grew up. They are super sweet together and it was really nice to see a religious element in their relationship. I can’t wait to see which brother is up next!

This is a captivating shifter book. Aranha is such a great heroine. She’s strong and beautiful and she has such a big heart. I was pulled right into the colorful world that the author creates from the very first page. This is so different from the other shifter stories that I’ve read and I absolutely loved it! There’s so much action, and the electricity between Aranha and Dag is incredible! I was fascinated by the Garden of Eden theme, how so much was shielded from everyone and faded into the background until it was brought back in a very startling way! It was great seeing the interactions between the different species that happens in this book, it’s one book that you definitely won’t want to miss.

It’s books like this that make keep me coming back for more. I get so excited when I find a book that looks like it will be an interesting read, but turns out to be so much more- providing an escape that just blows me away…. A Spider In the Garden is a fantastic urban fantasy from Courtney Davis. This may be my first read by Ms. Davis, but after reading this book she has definitely gained a stalker, ummm I mean avid reader, for life!!!! #mustreadauthorlist This is such a wonderful, and refreshingly original paranormal romance that completely captivated me right from the beginning. As a major arachnophobe, like I can’t even stand to be in the same room as a spider (even a teeny-tiny one)- the chances of me falling in love with a spider-shifter story wasn’t a high probability. But as I love to read different things and push myself out of my comfort zones, I thought I would take a peek at this story. And I am soooooooooo happy I did, because I absolutely LOVED it!!! Yep, this may have cured me of my arachnophobia- well let’s not get too carried away, but at the very least this has cured me of my fear of spiders in the printed world lol. Aranha is a spider shifter, and the last of her kind. Her days are a constant struggle for survival. Humans don’t pose a threat to her, but the vampires and werewolves certainly do. It’s imperative that she stay hidden from other paranormal creatures who would kill her if they knew of her existence. Much better for them to think webmakers to be extinct. But then fate leads her into Dag’s bar, and things get….interesting. Add in some hidden agendas, an innocent girl captured by vampires with a diabolical plan, intrigue, mystery, emotion, paranormal politics, and palpable danger- and this story really takes off. I hope there are more books planned for this ‘world’ as Ms. Davis has left me with a bit of an addiction and I need another ‘fix’. I am so thrilled to have discovered Ms. Davis and her wonderful stories. I am off to read her other book ‘A Werewolf in Women’s Clothes’ and can’t wait for her to release more stories for me to devour….. Happy Reading!

‘Journeys Through AllCreation’ is the third instalment in the ‘Journeys Through’ series by James Talisman. As with the previous books, this is an intriguing sci-fi and fantasy adventure story. We embark on this new adventure with many familiar faces playing their part, as well as some interesting new additions to the cast. I enjoyed the first two books and was intrigued to see where this ‘journey’ would lead us. As this is the third book in the series, with a lot of recurring characters, as well as some over-arching storyline, I really recommend reading the other two books before embarking on this journey as having all the backstory, previous adventures, character introductions, and other important information contained in those first two books will definitely enhance your reading experience of this third instalment. This is another well thought out, multi-layered, complex, and intriguing action-packed adventure. With all creation at risk of destruction we join a quest seeking an ancient artifact that has the power to help save creation from disappearing. A powerful being with evil intent threatens to wreak havoc- making for a high stakes journey, action-packed adventure full of danger and mystery. Along with the other two books in this series, we are provided a thought provoking read with plenty of action that also explores themes of consciousness, relativity, spirituality, ancient wisdoms, time travel, reality, the multiverse, and much more. The ending definitely leaves room for more adventure/s, so I am very interested to see what Mr. Talisman has in store for us next. Happy Reading!

This book was interesting, I was definitely intrigued by time I was done with chapter 2. I could not put it down. When Tia goes into hiding because of her past and meets Theo who is a detective, she automatically pushes him away because of her ex who is a police officer. She’s terrified, only Theo can unlock her heart and show her that she is safe.

I enjoyed this book. It was my second attempt to get back into the science fiction and space genre! The writing and world-building were good and did engross you quickly into the story of Corp. Kat Alexander and her fellow devils! It is definitely a fast pace and adventurous novel to get your hands on! The interactions between Corp Alexander and her crewmates, especially with quick-witted Sgt Scotch, adorable Spec, and the hell water Sgt Daire, you are definitely going to want to know what happens next. The only struggle I had with this book was the military jargon that was in the first half of the story. It felt like every other word describing the surroundings, weapons, ships, had me raising an eyebrow asking “wait what?”. However, after a while, the jargon seems to disappear and it isn’t so much. It is an enjoyable science fiction book to read if you are looking to explore the genre.

This book was absolutely incredible. Urban fantasy is my favorite genre, so I am pickier with these books. I loved it from the beginning! A spider shifter — wait, what?!?!?! I have never read about one before and was instantly intrigued. The author did not disappoint. Not only is Aranha a unique and original creature, she is endearing also. She has a heart of gold, does what she thinks is right and will do anything to protect the innocent and those she cares about. But she’s not perfect, she has her own struggles too. The other characters in the book are also well done and make this world even more complete.
Then there is the story. This is also very unique and different. The author did not use a cookie cutter base and make changes . She went out of her way to create something new a different — and blew the others out of the water in the process. The tale she weaves is so magical and gripping. I could not put it down and urge the author to give us more set in this fantastic world.
If you are a fan of urban fantasy with string female lead characters, great supporting characters, and a story of action and heart, this book is for you.

Oh my lanta this book! I don’t know how this author did it! They just wrote characters and made them realistic, and grow exponentially, and just did such an amazing job with the way they wrote their personalities. I always notice characters, because if I don’t like the characters or see true personalities I get bored. That was most definitely not a problem I had with this story! The suspense and relationship building between Theo and Sofia were top notch and 10/10 I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone!

If you love second chance romance books do not hesitate to read this one! I absolutely loved Brynn and Levi’s story. Based on how the book began I truly thought it was headed in a completely different direction than it went. Brynn and Levi fell in love as young teenagers, she from money, he from the wrong side of the tracks. After things and people conspired to keep them apart for a decade they miraculously find their way back to one another, of course not without a few bumps in the road getting there. Do yourself the favor and read this one!

This I the first book that I have read by this author and also the first book in the Metro-Gen after hours series. This is a short steamy romance that has humor suspense and drama. I loved the Characters and their quirks.
Leslie McClunis is a firefighter that loves cuss like a guy and kick her one-night stands to the curb in the morning like a guy. She isn’t looking for Mr. Forever just Mr. Right now. She doesn’t have time for a relationship
Trevor Hampton is football’s biggest, baddess defensive end. So, he isn’t used to being shown the door. After Leslie shows him the door, he realizes he wants her for more than one night? He vows to do anything to get his firefighting wildcat.
Can Trevor break down Leslie’s walls? Can he convince her that she can be herself while with him? Can they over come the obstacles in the way?
You will really need to read this story in order to find out….
This was a great 5 star read. Sofia (Tia) has a secret, a secret that she holds very closely. But when she gets a text her fears come crashing down on her again. She is a little jumpy and cautious of her surroundings when she meets Theo. When Theo see’s her he is immediately drawn to her and wants to get to know her better. He has also seen something in her eyes that has pulled his detective instincts to the forefront. Who is she and why is she scared?
Of course Theo is persistent and finally gets Sofia to go on a date. Things take off from here. The chemistry between them comes off the pages. This paranormal read was just simply amazing, the writing was out of this world and I just simply couldn’t put it down. The depths that the author goes to describe our characters were amazing, her plot was fantastic, and her word play was brilliant. Full of paranormal characters, excitement, suspense and more our author really knows how to draw her readers in and keep them on the edge of their seats. One thing that I really loved about this story is that it was told from a duel POV, which made it unique in its in oh way. But what happens when two paths cross to save one human girl? Well you’ll have to read this story to find out for yourself.

A fast paced romantic drama that leaves very little to the imagination. While I think the author had a great idea for a plot there are a few plot holes and it feels like some of the characters didn’t get as fully fleshed out as they should have. That said it’s not a bad story. I love the way Sofia/Tia’s character plays off the plot and off Theo. Domestic violence never ends well but Sofia has gone into hiding to protect herself. When she meets Theo sparks fly. When she starts receiving frightening text messages Theo pulls out all the stops to keep her safe. Overall a good read! I am excited to see where this author takes us for book 2.

I love this book. Such great characters.
Yes! Yes! Yes! I waited for this book to be available after being hooked to the first two in the series and it delivers!
The author continues to utilize descriptive imagery and provides a depth to his characters that is nearly unmatched by other authors! Though it is a complex MultiVerse, he brings it to life and connects the story so well it’s easy to keep track of the events, worlds, and universes within the storyline. This final chapter was action-packed and so satisfying with every last detail recorded.
In this installment of the series, everything has culminated into a camaraderie of good throughout the MultiVerse battling evil to save many universes from total destruction and allow their ways of life to continue.
I’m so excited to see what this author will do next!

Aranha is the last of an extinct species – the webmakers. Raised without a community, she got used to life on the run with her single mother, keeping to the shadows and staying out of trouble. When her mother died, she kept up the practice, and has a very solitary life. Now, she hunts serial killers to cut them down for food. When she meets Dag at a seedy bar, she is shocked to learn that he is also a species nearing extinction – and gives off pheromones for days. The unlikely duo end up on a mission together that will pit them against vampires and werewolves – two species that can kill them with their venom. In the process, they gain some answers about their ancestors and the future of their species.
I enjoyed the plot of the novel, and liked femme fatale Aranha. Her attraction to Dag is scorching. I found myself struggling to keep engaged in some parts, but I’m glad I stuck with it in the end.

Yes Yes Yes!!! This book is just totally fabulous! I was already intrigued by the cover and the story just takes off. The story is paranormal fantasy romance but can I just say I loved having something new of Webmakers? The story really pulls you in……Aranha is a shifter and I really loved her character. She is more like a hero in a sense, preys on bad people who do bad things. She meets Dag, and loved that he is a DayWalker and he is immediately drawn to Aranha. Dag feels like Aranha can help him find out what the vampires are up to…as the feeling is they are up to something not good.
This story is quite amazing and I truly loved it. The characters had me totally drawn to them and the story for me flowed. Totally worth the read!!

This book was purely one of the most amazing romance/suspense novels that I have read in a long time. This book was full of a whirl wind romance, drama, suspense, friendship and so much more that I found it increasingly hard to put it down. Tia (Sophia) is running from her abusive cop ex boyfriend and his goons. She crashes into hot sexy Theo who also happens to be a cop. Will Theo spook her or will she fall for his sexy smile, and dreamy eyes? When Theo finds out about her past and that Dane is trying to find her, will he take care of her or will he run away? You’ll have to read this amazing romance/suspense novel to find out what happens between Sophia and Theo. Trust me you won’t regret it.

This is my fist read for this Author. This book for me, was way too fast paced. There was a good base to the story, but it was really rushed and a little unbelievable. Tia and Theo had a love at first sight meeting, but with her past she was not easy to trust. Theo knows she is scared of something and wants to help her, but has to get Tia to trust him first so he can find out what is wrong. Like a said, this book is fast paced, but a HEA

Aranha is the last of her kind, a Webmaker, which is basically a spider shifter. She hides in the darkness hunting only those who have done wrong. She is lonely and filled with dark thoughts until one of her hunts turns into a rescue mission for a young werewolf. After she rescues the werewolf, Jonah, he immediately imprints on her causing her dark and dreary life to be less so.
Dag, a Daywalker, is one of few of his kind left. Years ago both the Daywalkers and the Webmakers were eradicated by other supernatural species. Thinking Webmakers were extinct, he was shocked when he saw one waltz into his bar. Dag is immediately interested in Aranha’s existence. At the same time, vampires are up to something and it is up to Dag, Aranha and Jonah to find out exactly what.
I really enjoyed this book, the other took a really interesting concept and turned it into an incredible adventure.

A Hundred Wishes is part of the Band of Sisters series. I haven’t read any of the others, but I likely will. I really enjoyed this book and the writing style. While it was narrated by a 3rd person perspective, there are parts that are more focused on each character and their feelings. I like that it was romantic, and had some hot scenes, but wasn’t overly graphic and raunchy. The developing relationship between Gina and Bryce was sweet. The characters are very real and down to earth. Their feelings and problems are realistic. I like the bond Gina has with her “sisters” and Bryce with his friends and family. There are parts that made me laugh and nearly cry. The ending though, really? REALLY?! How could you do that to us??? Now I NEED to read the next book for sure!

This is the third book in the series and yet again I was captivated. The phenomenal world building and character development continue in this book. I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. I highly recommend reading the first two books before this one. I look forward to more by this author in the future. Reviewed by @mimimadge

This was such a sweet story! I wished I could have made it last longer! I cannot wait to read more from the Brides of Broken Arrow series. Noah and Mary’s story was so heartfelt and really was relatable in the sense that I am sure many couples go through insecurities in their own way with new budding romance. I read it in one sitting and couldn’t have been happier with the book! Mary and Noah and even his brothers were just so easy to fall in love with! Couldn’t recommend enough!

The Mesmerist by Claire Luana was a book that I could not wait to read. I never hesitate to pick up a book by Claire Luana because I know that there is an adventure waiting for me. I was not disappointed at all. This book is full of adventure. Around every curve, there is something else to surprise me. The characters are complex and fully developed. This story is about the Royal family and the trouble they are in. Adrijana is the village girl who gains access to the court when the queen was pushed to her death. She has a lot on her plate and she is trying to mount an investigation and she needs to do it quickly. I highly recommend this book to see what happens to Adrijana and her investigation.

This is my first read by this author and I enjoyed this alot. Was pretty fast paced, coming in at just under 200 pages so made for a quick read as well. Was a really great story but i felt I wanted more in some places but thats me being greedy. I liked these two alot but felt Theo was a little too much at times but again a quick read so I understood a little bit as to why.
